recent remodel. Very impressed with improvements . Staff kind . Had a double bed room that was split into 2 rooms. Only the main room had a air conditioner .
It was located near where we needed to be for the weekend. The area was fairly quiet. There was a Tim's across the street which was a major bonus! The pillows were huge and rather uncomfortable.
Close to park and lake. Full kitchen. Quiet location. I was there on business but I'd take my family there on holiday next summer, especially with new pool and courtyard complete. Pool under construction off season, but only during day while away.
Fantastic visit! Great location and the kitchenette has the array of kitchen tools one actually uses! Walking distance to the Channel, for a float, and close to Okanagan Lake beach. A 10 min drive to Skaha Lake beach and close to a great running path
Great location, quiet, friendly Could hear people walking around in room above.
Pool and BBQ area was great! Location was perfect, close to everything and just off both the lake and channel. Owners were very friendly and accomadating. The beds could have been a little softer with a few more pillows (they were available if requested though)
The staff was amazing. Very friendly right from the beginning to me and my daughter. The common area is fantastic way to bring fellow vacationers together and have a good time, when usually people tend to stick to their own thing.
The location was highly convenient to everything; across the street from the great beach on Lake Okanagan as well as near shops, restaurants and great kids' activities. Also, relative to Penticton beachfront summer prices our one bedroom suite with full kitchen facilities was a good value for the money. Moreover, Paul, a staff member, was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful as he seemingly ran all over the property in an effort to do everything for everyone and oversee staff. Having worked extensively in the hospitality industry myself when younger, I tend to be empathetic but - unfortunately - the woman who checked us in was the polar opposite of Paul in terms of being rude, acerbic and condescending. It started when I was confused about the credit card intake machine as I am American and not used to the chip system now apparently standard with Canadian credit cards. Accordingly, I was reprimanded for withdrawing my card too soon. I think she had had a rough day, but that is not an excuse. Paul stepped forward and seemingly tried to offset the unpleasantness. Also, the bed was a roller bed and not very comfortable and, while the suite did have AC, it was inadequate relative to the space of the unit as the cool air did not reach the bedroom. The first two days were much warmer than average but still. Overall, I will rate this a 3 star due to the relatively solid value that $80 U.S. a night represents for the time of year and location - otherwise it would be a 2.
Clean and reasonable Parking spaces are limited and small
Served our needs well. Front desk lent us a toaster, which helped us for breakfast! The pool was a godsend, since it was in the high 30s the whole time. We had to keep the bikes in the room for safety, so it was quite cramped. Staff did not always replace items when they cleaned, so we had to ask for tea and sugar.
location price a bit high considering better hotels' prices not much more
Clean, newly renovated, lovely staff, short walk to a number of stores on the main road Bed was uncomfortable, needed another shelf in the bathroom and another shelf or small cupboard for belongings in the main room.
I thought it was a fanrastic place for the value. Clean and auiet. Just the way i like it
The suite had two separate bedrooms, meaning one guest did not have to pass thtough the other sleeping area to reach the bathroom. There is a guest laundry, which we used.
Close to the beach and very reasonable. My first trip to Penticton and if I return I would definitely book with Tiki shores.
Nothing, room was dirty, bedding not changed. When I turned back the sheets you could see they had not been changed. There was hair on the sheets. Bathroom had used soap and shampoo in it. There was no new soap bar. There was a used juice container in thse sink. I was not able to speak to the front desk as they had closed for the eveing. Very disappointed. The web site pictures show a resort style hotel, however, this is not factual. The web site is very misleading.
The location was great and the noise from the street was not noticeable When you could find staff some were helpfull The staff were poorly trained on the knowledge of there city and could not fill requests for basic needs
Location! Beautiful beach across the street. Outdoor pool/barbeque. Walking distance to good restaraunts/casino. Bicycle and boat rentals nearby. Short-staffed on cleaning - so dirty floor when we checked-in.
The place was very nice and clean. Neighbors too close. They talked loudly with no consideration of others.
The stay was very relaxing. Lovely clean room and staff was great.
Clean and updated room with beautiful flowers and public space. Huge BBQ's were available. Within walking distance of shops.
So clean! Not a speck of dust. Bed was really comfortable. Shower slow to drain but told manager on leaving.
Very clean rooms with many recent improvements ie: tv, walls painted, fridge. From the highway , looks like a million other motels, but the appearance is misleading. One of the better motels for the price I'v stayed in. Friendly staff. Wineries galore :) Some (most restaurants nearby should be given a miss. ....Savios's across the street should be avoided..overpriced, food tastes bland and insipid. (Crucetti's too)The Pasta Factory in Penticton is worse...More canned sauce than taste. Very, very bad !
Manager is very helpful and kind. provide us stuff whatever we needed.market is very close.u can buy stuff u need, without any problem.also very nice view there. Rooms need little extra stuff like toster, microwave.
