AMAZING. BEST HOTEL IN OKC.
We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine for husband's birthday. Hours later, we were brought fresh homemade cookies from the restaurant below. We ordered room service breakfast for the am, which was paired with complimentary coffee and a newspaper. The beds at the Colcord are the absolute best in the area, which is why we chose this hotel. We leisurely walked to the Vast, a restaurant on the top floor of the skyscraper next door-- literally next door to the Colcord. The whole experience was phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend treating yourself to a stay here!!!
Beautiful Night Stay
We had a great night in a beautiful room. The staff did a wonderful job making sure we felt welcome. They even sent some complimentary wine when they heard it was our anniversary.
Struggled controlling the temperature in the room. Outlets were hard to find as they’re connected to furniture. The nice TV was frustrating because the channels didn’t change in order nor match the printed or on screen guide.
Location and rooms
Housekeeping didn’t come one day even though the make up room light and they didn’t do turndown Service two of the nights because “they didn’t have any cookies “. We called and they pretty much shrugged their shoulders.
Quiet And Comfortable
Comfortable bed. Quiet.
Bad work space. Not enough outlets for chargers. Probably the worst desk light I’ve ever seen. It’s a fluorescent bulb, held in a chintzy chrome case, without a shade to keep it from glaring into eyes. It’s all design. No function. The designer who picked it did not consider that its use. I need to do at least a few hours of desk work every day when I travel for business. I’ll orobanly head to the Hilton or Ambassador (Marriott) for my next business trip.
It was so quiet. Our room was great, no. It was amazing. We enjoyed how big it was. I wish we could've stayed longer!
Can't really think of anything. Maybe start to offer free parking considering you pay so much for a room...?
STAFF didn't cooperate
Great service. Amazing restaurant and bar with wonderful staff
I liked everything my wife and I thought it was perfect.
In Oklahoma City, there is a variety of fun and excitement for travelers. One of the oldest hotels in this city was built in 1910. The Colcord Hotel was the first skyscraper in Oklahoma City. It is a 12-story building and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It features a luxury shuttle to the downtown area, daily coffee and tea service, nightly turndown service, a business center, and a fitness center. There are pet-friendly rooms, and they include flat-screen televisions, docking station, luxury linens, mini fridge, bottled waters, work desk, and WiFi. There is on-site dining at FLINT, VAST, The Patio at FLINT, Nebu, and Aravalli. Room service is also available, and guests can choose to have drinks at the many bars in the hotel as well. When guests are visiting the area, they have so much to see and do. They can visit the Myriad Botanical Gardens, Red Earth Festival, American Banjo Museum, Skydance Bridge, and the Devon Energy Center. There is a lot of local dining nearby so that they can get a taste of how delicious Oklahoma cuisine is. There is also shopping close by. Booking a room here is very easy and guests of the hotel will find the staff is friendly and well educated on the area. Guests of the Colcord Hotel will get a glimpse at Oklahoma City’s history when they stay in this historic building. There is so much to love about it and this amazing area of the United States.
