The Springhill Suites by Marriott Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando is the perfect place for families traveling to the area to stay and enjoy a vacation together. This location is packed full of fun things to do all around.

All of the 200 rooms are smoke-free. They have been newly renovated and feature luxury bedding. The suites are all studio style with separate living and sleeping spaces but within one room. There are mini fridges and microwaves for keeping snacks around and the family fed. The sofas have pullout beds for extra sleeping spaces as well. For those who need to work while in Orlando, there are spacious workstations in all of the rooms too.

The Springhill Suites by Marriott Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando has a complimentary breakfast available every morning. Guests can order room service also and there is delivery by many local restaurants that can be ordered. There is a poolside restaurant at the hotel called the Splash Bar & Grill that serves American food and features Pizza Hut options. Guests can get Starbucks coffee in the SpringHill Lounge. Within walking distance, there are familiar options like T.G.I. Friday’s and Buffalo Wild Wings.

This hotel is very close to so much guests will want to do during their stay. There is a free shuttle that takes guests of the hotel to SeaWorld and Aquatica. There are all of the Disney Parks not far away, as well as Universal Orlando parks. Visitors should check out the view from the top of the Coca-Cola Orlando Eye, also.

We planned a multi-generation trip to the area, including one day at Sea World which it is very close to. We are familiar with the area and chose to stay in that location on purpose. Because we were booking two rooms we tried calling to make sure they were ajoining and that if the other family arrived first they could check in. There was no way to reach a human at the hotel. No matter what number you put into the automated phone system, it just would send you on a path that eventually had you back at the beginning. So, intead as Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite members we reached out to see if they could help. Even they could not reach the hotel over many attemps. The best they could do was put the requets in the notes of our reservation. Come check in day, the other family arrived before us. When they arrived at 5pm, well past the stated start of check in, they were informed that there was not a room ready. In fact, they were told we couldn't get adjouning rooms at all and if we wanted rooms near each other we would need to wait at 30-45 minutes for the first room to be done being cleaned and an hour to 90 minutes for the second room. After a long drive they were exhausted so accept a room that was available. We arrived roughly 30 minutes later and upon checking in asked to speak with a manager. When we explained why we had requested and what our family was told, his response was that he was sorry, they didn't have any rooms like the ones we wanted that were ajoining. We later found this out to not be the case. The woman who had checked in our family came over to give her side of the story, and in no uncertain terms called our family liars for what they said happened. Now I am not saying they recounted the whole store correct but we were on the phone with them for part of it and they wre not lying and that is no way to treat a customer who is upset is to call their family liars. The manager was able to find us a room nearby but it was a smaller room than we wanted but he said that was all they would be able to have cleared that day. When we protested, pointed out that it was well past when rooms should be ready he said that was the situation they were dealing with. When we pointed out that our status, and by extension loyalty to Marriott should be taken into account he was dismissive. Basically he said we were loyal to Marriott, but that is not the same as loyalty to that specific hotel. Once we arrived in our room we were met with a dustry cramped room that was in need of a makeover as well as repairs to the shower area to stop leaks and repair stains. The other room, while larger, had problems with lighting and electrical outlets. Any request for services was met with a, well, we will try and get to it but can't promise it will be anytime soon. I would strongly suggest not staying here because they clearly don't care about a reservation as more than a credit card giving them money. The property was busy and I'm sure most if not completely filled. So if they don't get our business, they don't care, someone else will give them the money for that room. And they don't care what that means to your view of them or the Marriott hotel chain.

Pros:The rooms were very spacious, the beds comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was wonderful to be able to watch TV in another part of the room while others slept. Loved having Netflix access, too.
Cons:There wasn't enough light in the bathroom. No full length mirror. We left our room around 11am and no maid came. We had to ask for lotion and coffee as it wasn't left by the maid on other days.

Pros:Very nice place every staff member I spoke with was so very nice at breakfast the family next to us had a sick toddler they got her cold rags for her fever got her disposable thermometers to keep up with baby temperature did everything they could to help this family that was not from USA great place to stay clean food was good staff was great. Shuttle to sea world was easy we will be back here

Pros:Very comfortable for the price. Separate shower and toilet rooms made very useful for our large group. Breakfast was delicious, great for recovering from an all day music festival. Would stay again for EDC next year!
