Conveniently located next to the subway and close to interesting areas with street markets.
The bathrooms and toilets are located inside each room and this becomes too noisy with guest using it in the middle of the night and early morning.
Everything was great!! Nice location, great value, friendly staff, comfortable.
My towel was dirty. You get a free towel to use if you follow Qoo on Instagram, which is great, except my towel had some weird marks/spots on them. They weren’t that bad, and also I’m a dude so it didn’t really bother me, but Qoo should be more careful with that sort of thing as some people really wouldn’t like that.
The fact that I had a guaranteed exit date.
I'm 2 nights into my stay and was already looking at other accommodation. First night I fell asleep at 3:30am out of pure exhaustion, the bunks dont have roofs - but the lights are in the ceiling which do not turn off. It was more than bright enough for me to read at 3:30am. The windows, which don't have blinds, are also looking into the bunks - so at 5:30 it is midday brightness in the bunk. After the worst night's sleep I wake up at 8am to the cleaners banging on my bunk accusing me of stealing pillows. The pillow in question, of which you only get one that the size of a shoe box, was mine - that I put up against the window to try and stop me from getting so much light in I could get a tan. After they sent the manager up I had to explain the situation within earshot of every single other guest. Yes they went and got the manager over what they suspected to be a stolen pillow at 8am. They proceeded to spend the next few hours laughing and chatting amongst themselves. Second morning, same 3:30 trash as the night before but instead now I AM WOKEN AT 7AM BY THE SOUND OF SOMEONE VOMITING, SOMEONE USING A HAIR DRYER ON FULL JUICE AND SOMEONE CLIPPING THEIR NAILS ALL AT THE SAME TIME - whilst its fully bright in the bunk again. The pictures look great, I promise you - there is a reason this place is so cheap. The bathrooms (which don't have walls that go all the way to the roof) and sinks (where people have to do their hair drying) are in the same room as where people 'sleep', separated by nothing. I can't attach images but, picture trying to sleep in your bedroom at home, middle of the day brightness, with the lights on, with no curtains, whilst someone cleans whilst someone else is blow drying their hair - that is what you're paying for here.
Nice place, I booked the semi-private room and it was a good experience. Clean, comfortable place. The breakfast is very simple, just bread and butter or jam, but if you have a low budget trip that could help you to have some money.
I think they could clean the bathroom more. It wasn't very dirty but it could be better.
Immediately above a subway station, accessible via an elevator from the platform.
Check in is very late (4pm) and check out it early (10am). You're expected to dress and strip your own bed. Luggage can be left in the lobby, but it is out in the open and unsecured and unmonitored - anyone could come up in the elevator from the train station and take things. Breakfast is between limited hours, so I didn't get any, although the staff said they'd leave a piece of bread out for me - maybe they forgot or someone else took it.
