The hotel is in a beautiful rural location between two towns with a beautiful country feel inside. We upgraded our room for a few Euro and got a suite with an included bathroom, balcony, huge bed, couch with a hide-a-bed and beautiful furniture. the staff didn't seem quite as friendly as I'm accustomed to in Bavaria, and their English was really rough for an area that I would think would attract so many tourists.
The friendliness and willingness of the staff to meet our every need. In fact, when we had to leave earlier then they served breakfast, they made a lunch for us to take with us instead! No, I cannot think of one thing I didn't like about this hotel.
Out of the way but has a lot of charm. The staff were great. Food was great and breakfast WAS included which made it one of the best and best value rooms we had on our trip. There were several bathrooms to choose from and they were clean and updated. No TV in rooms, but it may have changed the feel of the area if there had been.
nice hosts, nice accomodation (our room was more a small apartment rather than only a room), excellent breakfast nothing bad at all. Just some suggestion, sauna included in the rate would be apreciated as well as shampoo and soap in the room.
nice place, large rooms, clean and very well equiped, wifi convenient, very friendly host (Frau Schade), hotel is very easy to reach, short walk to Nesselwang center and swimming pool, great views over Alps Everything was ok, one suggestion would be to make the in-house sauna/spa free to enter.
The hotel was ideally located to explore the many interesting sites in that area and the owners were both friendly and helpful. The accommodation was brilliant, well appointed and spacious and we would certainly consider returning to this venue./
No english spoken
When I arrived the owner let met in & went into a room, which I didn't go in, as I thought it was her private flat, however it was my room: ...rooms infact! ...A lounge/diner/kitchenette with balcony, a bedroom & bathroom. I stayed at 10 places on a 2 week, 2 day holiday & the accommodation here was better than places costing 120 Euro for one person per night.
Immaculate room and facilities with a lot of love for details. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Nice family atmosphere without missing any convenience. It feels like the owners really run this place with passion. The rates are more than fair for what is offered. We travel quite a bit to the area to visit family and if they can keep up the quality and service, Gästehaus Sonja will be our choice for the years to come! From me Gästehaus Sonja gets a 10 out of 10!
Nice family running hotel
Wonderful facilities, and lovely owners
The rooms were very comfortable. We had the deluxe room and the bathroom was particularly well designed. A nice change of pace to other hotels we had stayed at. Not particularly pleased with the lady running it. We rarely saw her and did not seem to take to our kids. We constantly felt invasive of her establishment.
Charming hotel & perfect beer! Diner could be better
Clean room. Noisy location on main traffic thorough fare
Great location and wonderful stay - Definitely will use again.
we enjoyed the loction of been in the village, it was easy to get to and easy to travel to different villages we would have likes tea or coffee making facilities in our room.also not many dishes on the English menu.
The hotel was not a fouir star.... but it was perfect for our needs. WE had young children and did not want to go out everynight,. The kitchenette was perfect. My children loved sleeping on tyeh bunk beds. The staff was very helpful and friendly!
Nice Building, comfortable room, Freindly staff, Lovely village in the mountains.
very friendly people. You feel like home.
The Hotel is in a beautiful setting and very quiet. The mountain air is fresh. The recommendations for dinner were excellent, and the breakfast buffet had all we could wish. The fold-out couch/bed was not very comfortable for our adult son, and the wireless network only worked in the reception/breakfast area, despite our room only being on the first floor up.
The location, friendly staff. no
Convenience for visiting Hohen Schwangau and Neuschwanstein and the surrounding district. Train whistle at 6.00 hours
The staff was very sweet and worked very hard to help us in English whenever possible.
easy to find internet problems
Cosy hotel with nice use of wood and sloping ceilings etc. Warm and comfortable. Good wireless Internet. It felt a bit crowded. Overall there was a fair bit of space but it was split into different rooms. A kitchenette was included but it had virtually nothing in it so you would have to bring your own cooking utensils, plates, etc if you wanted to use the kitchenette.
friendly atmosphere, quietness, good food
No problem arriving late. Quiet nice area, and still close to the Autobahn.
It was a normal German hotel and convenient for Kempten - although a car ride away from the town.. Luckily I phoned to say I woulod arrive late and they left a key outside for me. Otherwise, I dislike hotels which do not offer a 24 hour service. This one closed about 2200 hours (earlier than my booking confirmation stated).
Fine breakfast and spacious bed Bathroon was little dim. My kids didn't like this.
Nice clean hotel, very reasonable rates, good breakfast and friendly proprietrix. Quite close to autobhan made it an ideal stop-over on our journey from Dunkirk to The Dolomites.
We were delighted with the accommodations. The rooms were clean and quiet and breakfast was good. A good value overall. We would return to this location.
Pleasant people to talk to. Everything is very correctly organized.
The beds and linen were clean and comfortable and bathroom facilities were adequate and clean. There was no hot water for showering and no refund. Not suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs (my wife is disabled and struggled to the third floor).
