The tub would not drain, so I reported it on Friday night. The gentleman at the front desk brought a plunger, but it would still not drain. He told us he would inform the plumber the next morning. The next day it would still not drain. When I checked out I told the front desk clerk about the drain and how we reported it our first night and she shared that no one had put in a work order for it to be fixed.
I love that they have a playground for kids although they had other things to do like basketball and golf but no equipment for it? The pool looked nice but it was too cold to get in. Staff was nice and I love that it was smoke free. The room we had was nice. I think it's a nice hotel but not for a long stay like we needed. Breakfast was the same every day. There wasn't always someone at the desk because they were outside smoking. The guy at the front desk wasn't very friendly. They only have one luggage cart and when we were leaving it was no where to be found. Check out time is at noon and it was annoying to have housekeeping standing outside our room with the cart waiting for us to leave when my husband had to take everything down by himself without a cart because we have two small children and I had to stay in the room with them. The housekeeping cart was parked right in front of our door making it hard to get out? The pillows seemed worn because they were lumpy. Also partly our fault for forgetting the do not disturb sign on the door, but one morning house keeping came by at 8am and we were still in bed? We stayed for a week so I would've thought they would think to wait to come see if we needed anything? It didn't seem like a lot of people were staying there since there was a handful of cars in the parking lot but it seemed like a lot of the rooms were filled around us? One night there were teenagers running through the hall and being loud. This was after 9:30 and I had small children sleeping. I could hear the neighbors tv at night and was loud, I didn't say anything because I'm sure they heard my child cry at 3am? We did get tired of the same dry breakfast every day.
It was clean and the staff were helpful. There was an electrical storm and the power was off three hours. The breakfast was mostly carbs and you really need to find somewhere to eat.
The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were both exceptional. The size and comfortableness of the room were fine and as expected for the price point. The amenities that the hotel has to offer are also nice. The shower was on the small side, and the water pressure was not great. The continental breakfast was a nice touch, but I would recommend offering a little more variety, especially since the dining options in the area are not great.
The hotel was good. It wasnt' the greatest, but it was far from the worst. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean. It's more of a 'motel' type, with outside room doors. Breakfast wasn't much, but it was free.
We were very suprised at how clean and well maintained every thing was, a very good value for the money.
We made our first trip into this part of Alabama to attend a graduation ceremony at nearby Ft Rucker. The staff was very helpful by allowing us to check in a bit early to prepare for a reception that afternoon on the Post. The room was clean and comfortable, and the A/C worked very well, thank heavens! We used the motel discount at the restaurant next door for one meal. Nothing special, but it was very convenient to walk across the parking lot to dinner.\n We had our two Scottish Terriers with us and the extra fee for pets was reasonable. The staff greeted the dogs like old family members and made our stay quite pleasant.\n We foud this motel using one of the on-line reservation services. It was the first Jameson Inn we have visited. As a result of our good experience we will consider staying at Jameson Inn's when we visit again next winter. A Special thanks to the staff for their assistance and friendly attitude.
We stayed for 4 nights and were very pleased with the price and the room.
This was a quick overnight stop for my family on our way to Disney. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and flat screen TV. The beds were just fine and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine but not fabulous. I would stay here again!
i had reserved i thought two full beds when i got there they wanted to give us one king size bed for 4 adults after i was going to call manager somebody found a room with two full size beds after that we had a great stay! ruth
After a 19 hour drive the manager of the Jameson in Ozark, AL let us check in at 11 am. Such nice people work there and the maid service is terrific. The room was an upscale version compared to the normal hotel. I am going to stay there every time my husband and I visit our son and family in Ozark!
The staff was always helpful, friendly and courteous. Our rooms were very clean, as was the fitness room. We didn't hear anyone after our door was closed, very quiet. The breakfast area was pleasant and well stocked with good food. Overall, the value was exceptional. This was perfect for our visit to Ft Rucker.
Hotel was average for the price. Most of the staff were freindly and helpfull, but lack of communication between employees was present. We were told by that we would have a room on the first floor by one employee and then at check-in were told by another employee that we would have to pay extra for a deluxe room because all the standard rooms on the first floor were taken. Usually this would not have been an issue, however there is no elevator and my mother-in law was unable to climb the stairs to get to a room on the second floor. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We were in the area for a graduation on Ft Rucker so the location was fantastic, only ten minute drive to the base!
My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in the area. The room was clean and very nice. WiFi throughout, very nice! The first morning we slept in and missed breakfast, everything was put away when we arrived downstairs. One of the staff members offered to get us muffins and some milk, which was much appreciated. That same staff member also gave us very detailed directions to an address that our navigation system couldn't find.
