With a stay at Lézard Home Bed and Breakfast in Paita, you'll be 6.9 mi (11 km) from Nouré Beach and 9.4 mi (15.1 km) from Garden Golf de Dumbéa. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful comfy bungalows nestled in a tropical garden. Our friendly hosts cooked us an amazing meal in the garden for an authentic New Caledonian experience - with awesome conversation thrown in. Breakfast was delivered to our verandah. Close to the international airport too.
Pros: Situated in a nice garden. Some would regard as genuine rather than a smooth resort
Cons: Rather limited accommodation with no where to sit inside if veranda was chilly.
Pros: Lezard in the middle of the forest; a little bit difficult to get there in the middle of the night, but not impossible. Instructions and google maps takes you there easily. The accomodation in itself is simple, the bungalows being built with warehouse materials. It is nicely and ingeniously arranged, but it’s not a 3-star hotel. I’ve found it awkward to have in the bathroom container walls. The host is very warm and welcoming, and we even received some pancakes for breakfast (even though I think breakfast was not oficially supplied). It’s a quiet place, good for nature lovers, where you can spend your time away from the city noise.
Cons: Being in the forest, expect more mosquitos than other similar properties. Also, the host have dogs, which they are friendly, but just something to be aware of.
Pros: The quietness of the area. The bush setting. friendliness of the owners.
Cons: The approach track to the property needs fixing. Would be quite expensive as there are drainage problems along the route,
Pros: Too much trouble to find anythiing to like.
Cons: The electricity went out and nobody came to repare it so I had to take my shower and get my luggage done without any Light! The electricity équipement of the Bungalow is inadéquate.
Pros: friendly host, fantastic quiet location, tasty breakfast
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Beautiful home stay, peaceful environment with great food on offer. Hosts go above and beyond to ensure comfort, cultural experience and enjoyment. Tremendous effort and success in setting up a rustic, unique environment. Can’t wait to go back again. Sonia and Christophe are exceptionally kind hearted hosts and was lovely to share dinner with them.
Pros: Very friendly hosts. Great little spot tucked away in the bush.
With a stay at Hotel Le Lagon Noumea in Nouméa, you'll be in a shopping district, a 3-minute walk from Anse Vata Beach and a 4-minute drive from Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Location was only short walk to great restaurants and beach. Cocktail bar and Vietnamese were our favourite haunts. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Spa amazing after our adventure walk round to Citron Bay and back. Sauna has tiny changing LED lights and relaxation music. Staff speak English but we preferred to annoy them in French. They were all charming and helpful. Bed was the perfect firmness and a very roomy King size. Hotel has an Eco policy - big thumbs up from us. Passe le bonjour à Rose et Thierry! We'll be back :)
Cons: Everything was wonderful. No complaints whatsovever!
Pros: The pool and spa were clean and warm, not crowded
Cons: The overall flashness of the hotel was lacking a little
Pros: Th Staff is the best thing this hotel has! They were super extra friendly, open, warm and accomodating. They helped us the whole time with good indications and warm approach! I’m super impressed about THIERRY and LUDOVIC. They did everything to make us feel like home! Thank you so much! Also, great location only minutes walking to the beach, they gave us free taxi transportation to one of the islands and the amenities were excellent for a 3 star hotel.
Cons: I had to pay for the internet as they only give you 250 mb per day at your room that last you only a few minutes every 24 hours. If you want more internet then you have to go to the lobby or purchase a internet pass to get more.
Pros: Big room, pool spa , internal garden. Staff very nice & efficient. Good breakfast.
Pros: Comfortable bed and good room. Good facilities and sauna. Tv and heat pump and good lights in the room. Great cleaning staff doing up our room each day. Close to the beach and the excellent bakery.
Cons: Staff could be a lot more informative about things to do and what’s around the area and tours and what’s on offer from their hotel. There wasn’t a lot to tell us anything. Underselling their tourism. Front foyer and desk is not a great welcome.
Pros: Staff very nice & efficient. SPA & Pool, big room. Good breakfast.
Pros: Very comfortable & large bed, great balcony & really nice swimming & spa pools. Very helpful & friendly staff.
Cons: Road noise a little much at times.

Pros: This property was so much more than we expected. We absolutely loved our stay here and the place was even better than we had hoped. It was larger than we expected and for our family so well. Lots of thoughtful touches.
Pros: Very friendly hosts, great accommodation, nice pool, beautiful quiet area close to the river.
Pros: Nice setting, with large garden out of urban Noumea. Well equipped kitchenette,(although no oven). Relatively spacious and private. Nice swimming pool. Friendly hosts.
Cons: Noisy fridge in same room as you sleep. No blind on glass section of door - sun in your face at 5 AM.

Pros: Large spacious room and very comfortable bed. Great pool and beach area and lovely breakfasts
Pros: great rooms and spacious. the beach bar was great for drinks.
Cons: room fridge was not cold enough
Pros: Great location right on the beach and lots of activities. Very friendly pool staff and clean. Had a chicken Caesar salad at the pool bar, was lovely, large portion so shared.
Cons: Inconsistent housekeeping, robes one day then gone the next, toiletries and water the same thing. Sadly, some surly staff at the pool bar which is a shame but guys serving by the pool were excellent. Marriott discount inconsistent when ordering food and drink, had to show membership number with each order when receptionist logged it when I checked in. Prices a bit expensive when eating in.
Pros: Was a great time. Very relaxing, great facility Beautiful location on the beach. Bed was so comfortable If we ever go to new cal again, we would stay here no doubt
Pros: The hotel had a good aspect - particularly liked the pool and beach area along with the terrace bar! Service was very good and the staff really tried hard. The cleanliness of the room was top......far better than a lot of places we have stayed.
Cons: We found beds a bit soft but this is personal choice. If an option for firm beds was available we would take this. There was a function one night and we could hear the music - so be aware this is a hotel used for functions.
Pros: Breakfast was ok good selection.
Cons: The staff are lazy and not at all service oriented in the restaurants
With a stay at Gondwana Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Nouméa, a 1-minute drive from Noumea Harbour and 5 minutes from Anse Vata Beach. Featured amenities include express check-out, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Great value. Close to the market and bus stops that take you to the beaches. The staff was kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was nice to have, but the room was usually a comfortable temperature, so I didn’t really need it.
Cons: A bit dusty. It’s quite dark if you have the curtains closed as there are only bedside lamps in the bedroom, no overhead light. The main problem was the fan in the bathroom runs constantly and sometimes it’s really loud. I had a hard time sleeping the last night due to the fan noise.
Pros: Loved this groovy little hotel. Super comfy beds, great shower, really lovely public spaces. Particularly liked the absence of disposable coffee, sugar, etc sachets and cups. The complementary beverage concessions on each floor are a brilliant idea!
Pros: The location was adequate during the day, and close to shops and businesses. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The location wasn't great for tourist activities. Central Noumea is a business area and most cafes and shops close at 5pm, leaving very little to do
With a stay at Chateau Royal Beach Resort and Spa, you'll be centrally located in Nouméa, a 2-minute drive from Anse Vata Beach and 6 minutes from Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The pictures on the website did it justice. No photoshop required.
Cons: New Caledonia is expensive
Pros: Location is great, staff were helpful, really liked having the extra space and kitchen facilities even though with the excellent included breakfast we didn't cook for ourselves very much. Enjoyed watching the kite surfers from our partial ocean view room.
Cons: We rented a portable hot spot at the airport which worked very nicely and solved the limited wifi issue that others had reported for this property.
Pros: really loved the closeness of all the ammenities to the room such as the pool, restaurant and bar. The room kitchen and the seperate lounge room. also great views the bar watching the sunset
Cons: if we had to pick something it would be the pillows. They were far too high
Pros: The location was great, nice view from our room and really kind helpful staff.
Cons: Only very limited free wifi! Also all tv was in French With no English options
Pros: The location was wonderful, and within easy walking distance to cafes & restaurants. The hotel is situated right on the beach so you have the options of swimming in the pool or sea. The rooms are excellent, especially having a kitchen and separate lounge area.
Cons: The rooms were clean & serviced daily, however the toiletries were not replenished daily. On 3 occasions we had to ask for soap & shampoo. The housekeeping was inconsistent.
With a stay at Escapade llot Maitre in Nouméa, you'll be on the beach and minutes from Maitre Pier. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a ferry terminal shuttle.
Pros: We didn't want to leave! It's so beautiful! Good for the soul, as well as the body. #kitesurfer paradise, #kayaking #paddleboarding. Safe (yet satisfying). Best part was snorkeling, jumping off the steps of our bungalow, into clear waters with an amazing variety of fish & sealife. Best of all swimming with peaceful gaint turtles (free in nature). Oh, and the buffets are so delicious! Friendly staff too!
Cons: A bit pricey. But expected that. Some basic cutlery in the rooms would be appreciated. And an outdoor shower.
Pros: We loved everything about the location and the property.
Cons: The price of the meals for the quality of the food.
Pros: The bungalow was amazing!
Pros: The location is magnificent. We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows, these were quiet, tidy, and comfortable. It was amazing to sit in the room or on the balcony and watch the sun set, it was beautiful. It was also amazing to watch up to half a dozen turtles swim around beneath our room each morning. The room has a set of steps that lead into the water, so we had our own private launching area for snorkelling, straight into the marine reserve. The setting of the resort is a very nice little tropical island.
Cons: The resort building itself is looking tired, and is to be closed and refurbished some time over the next year or so, and it does need it. The buffet breakfast and dinners were okay, but could be better. We opted to catch the water taxi into town to eat, which was usually an easy option, although the departure times could vary from the schedule on occasions. The seagulls are also pests on the island, and would come into the breakfast area and swarm onto any unattended food, not a place for ornithophobes. Overall it is a nice place for a short stay, but it does have some shortcomings that hopefully the refurbishment will resolve. I would like to go back there when it is completed to have another stay, the bungalows, sunsets and marine life are simply stunning.
Cons: Food terrible and expensive seek every day Zero service Not very clean Staff with no standard
Pros: The over water bungalows Wow such a treat to stay in, location absolutely perfect. Our view was magnificent the surroundings amazing having the aquarium to explore right under us ohh what an experience. Loved our stay & everything about it. Thank you for wonderful time. X
Cons: Having to check out and leave.
Pros: The resort is located in a quiet spot and the beach pristine and its right at the door step. I can stay by the shallow water and admire the clean and quiet surroundings. It is located in a protected marine reserve. Plenty of fishes and turtles.
Cons: Room was a bit basic for the price we paid.
When you stay at Résidence Marina Beach in Nouméa, you'll be in the entertainment district, within a 5-minute drive of Anse Vata Beach and Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and a safe deposit box at the front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Great location in Baie du Citron. Wonderful atmosphere. Could not fault the place
Pros: Great location, close to beach, bus and shops; very helpful to have a kitchenette in Nouméa, where dining out can be expensive
Cons: WiFi did not work well in my room; table/chairs uncomfortable for dining/writing; no outdoor space/balcony
Pros: Very close to the beach, bus and supermarket. 25 minute walk into the CBD.
Pros: Reasonable location
Cons: Could have been more local information provided eg nearest supermarket, bus times etc
Pros: Location,very friendly staff
Cons: Reception to be open longer then 4 hours a day
Cons: everything is good
Pros: Perfect location close to beach, supermarket and shops
Pros: Location, location, location! Just a couple of minutes from the beach, unbeatable! The property itself is great value for money. The kitchen has limited facilities but all you need to prepare your meals. The decor is tasteful, the room spacious, with a table and sofa. Coin-laundry is available, and so are other equipments if you ask the reception. A Casino supermarket can be reached in 5mns walk. Perfect.
Cons: Appart from the beach, there is not much around, and without a car, you will have to rely on the bus (rare and slow) or taxis (need to be called; and even then take forever to arrive....). Rental bicycle at the hotel would be practical.... Beach front has few (loud) bars and restaurants, but considering the location, the choice was disappointing. The hotel itself is situated just behind a youth hostel....and its night-club! Also, the wall being thin, you will hear your neighbor's TV......The first room's mattress really needs to be changed....
Pros: Great location with local bus stops very close by. Really easy checkin/departure & great security for complex. Only a couple of minutes walk to great Baie de Citrons for swimming & surprisingly good snorkeling at both ends of the beach.
Cons: Adequate balcony but limited space & little atmosphere with minimal view.
Pros: Excellent value for Noumea. Great location, 2 minute walk to Baie des Citrons and close to restaurants and bars, a corner shop and a Casino supermarket. Kitchenette gives the option to self-cater which saves a lot of money in Noumea where eating out is hideously expensive. Nicely appointed bathroom with great shower. Easy safe system for collecting key out-of-hours.
Cons: Reception is not open on Sunday which may be inconvenient for some (I do understand that this keeps costs down though). An airport shuttle is offered but is quite expensive compared with other services which are 2500 per person.
When you stay at Hôtel Beaurivage in Nouméa, you'll be in the entertainment district, within a 5-minute drive of Anse Vata Beach and Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We stayed there 3 times - always for a Stopover- therefore it’s good
Pros: Great location right opposite the beach.
Pros: Good location in front of the beach and close to restaurant and shops.
Pros: The location was great. On the Friday evening we arrived late and needed extra pillows in our room. The staff member on duty was very welcoming and we had our extra pillows straight away. Thank you!
Cons: The staff member we asked about forms of travel on the island on the Monday of our stay was not interested in helping us with the questions we had. We experienced her as we were annoying her.
Pros: Right near the beach. Plenty of restaurants close by with walking distance to attractions.
Cons: Was next to noisy bar but thankfully they did quieter before midnight.
Pros: It was opposite the beach at Lemon Bay with fantastic sunset views. Certainly suggest getting the room with the beach views. Bus to and from the city left from just down the road - easy for work purposes.
Pros: Location, room size and bed
Cons: The cleaning lady that knocks at the door at 9:59 to ask us to leave without even saying hi

Pros: Spacious apartment, everything we needed, great staff.
Cons: The kettle was dangerous.. would not turn off, the handle got very hot. It was replaced promptly. There is only 250MB per day of free wifi.. encouraged to purchase. I expected unlimited free Wifi as is available in many other establishments
Pros: Location. Apartment layout, decor and views.
Cons: A little erratic cleaning
Pros: Great location
Cons: Restaurant very expensive
Pros: How close it was to the beach and local shops and restaurants
Cons: The Wifi was terrible. This day and age you should have unlimited wifi and you don't. It lasts 10 minutes then you have to buy more which i didn't as I just went to the cafe for free wifi.
Pros: Lot of space. Nice view. Good location.
Cons: Washing machine old / complicated. No supermarket / grocery near. Expensive.
Pros: The reception was of great assistance to me when I requested an extension of our stay at the Hilton. They even offered to arrange another booking at the Nouvata if there was no availability at the Hilton.
Cons: Keys to the room were only made available at 3 PM. Appreciate if we could access the keys to the rooms a bit earlier.
Pros: The location is 100 metres off the beach. Lovely views. Easy parking under the hotel. 3-bedroom apartment of standard size with balcony, useable galley kitchen. Comfortable beds. Aircon in every room. Daily serviced.
Cons: Appliances and equipment of the kitchen needs some attention. The hotel pool is a bit simple. Gym facilities small and only average equipment. Housekeeping was hit and miss with re-stocking. Tip: New Caledonia is expensive, expect 2-3x your Australian prices for almost everything (this is hardly a problem of this hotel though). If you want to partly self cater which is possible in this apartment, do some shopping in Australia and bring the non-perishable basic goods.
Pros: The location, the spacious apartment
Cons: This was a return visit and we were disappointed with the second apartment, maintenance was an issue: washing machine would not drain so the door would not open; the knives were blunt; the saucepans had no lids; the vegetable basket was missing from the fridge. We had requested 3 double beds, it took two days and two reminders to make this happen. The housekeeping staff kept taking the facewashers and not replacing them. Individually small irritations but combined very frustrating.
Pros: Great location
With a stay at L'Hôtel du Centre in Nouméa, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Noumea Harbour and Anse Vata Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Big size room
Cons: We arrived late at midnight and given a wrong key to the room. No water bottles in the room and aircon remote controller didn't work, no shops around, one of the worst experiences.
Cons: I wasn't given a full rundown on facilities on arrival and had to go back down to reception and ask extea questions, although the staff were very friendly at all times. Also odd there was no water or milk in the fridge or in sachets to go with the coffee and tea in a hotel room.
Cons: Pillows unusable Noise in the Hall was excessive
Pros: We chose the location as it was close to the location for the return of our hired car, and a bit closer to the airport. The location is in the middle of an industrial/business area. But the hotel had a great restaurant located on the top floor - great staff & good food!!
Cons: Not a good location for a holiday stay!!
Pros: Clean, washing-machine in the room, kitchen with appliances!
Cons: Location is useless if you want to spend nice time in the city!
Pros: Room was fair and quite comfortable, although the cleaning service did not include dishwashing.
Cons: Hotel is not prepared to receive overseas guests who might not speak french. TV-program very limited and french-oriented. Internet only worked after paying a surcharge. No recommendations for restaurants, except the hotels own.... Finally, ‘Le Centre’ is not in the center of Noumea, but in a more commercial / industry-area 3,5 kms out. The coordinates stated on booking.com are not correct. My bottom line: Not really recommendable for tourists.
Hotel Le Paris Noumea is centrally located in Nouméa, a 4-minute walk from Noumea Cathedral and 8 minutes by foot from Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 2 meeting rooms available for events. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: No further comments
Cons: We had a great time there. No complaints.
Pros: Room was quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Unable toook shuttle bus transfers from the airport due to problems with booking form, and did not know until we arrived that they have to be booked 24hrs in advance. The hotel tried to help, but time ran out and we ended up paying alot more for transfers. (AUD $145 one way) by taxi.
Pros: I like the location right in the city centre. Very close to the market, the museum and the ferry terminal.
Cons: A bit noisy the first day I arrived. My room was small and dark but was very comfortable.
Cons: small bed for two persons
Pros: Good location for sightseeing in the city center; for beach life I’d rather recommend hotels in Baie des Citrons though.
Cons: “Sea view rooms” had no sea view: fixed blinds in front of the windows blocked the view. Not worth the additional ist’s compared to normal rooms.
Pros: Close to the Marina and the markets
Cons: I only stayed one night so it was fine but any longer I think it would probably be better near the beach with a pool.
Pros: Great location in downtown Noumea with large and comfy rooms. Breakfast wasn't included in the price and was a little pricey, but excellent quality and the staff were very friendly. They organised an airport transfer for me, which was reasonably priced and worked well in both in directions. There's convenience stores and a couple of restaurants nearby.
Pros: High standard of room cleanliness, everything worked, friendly helpful staff. You are able to walk everywhere in central Noumea (and further if you like a walk!) from the hotel. We didn't try the breakfast.
Pros: Breakfast we wanted was baguette and coffee. Coffee was average, from pods, and no decaf. Local guava jam was nice. Thought it was a bit expensive.
Cons: Hard to find anywhere nearby to eat on Sunday evening; even the restaurant next to the hotel was closed. Ended up at a pizza place.
When you stay at Casa del Sole Apartments in Nouméa, you'll be connected to a shopping center, a 1-minute drive from Anse Vata Beach and 5 minutes from Noumea Harbour. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Planning an event in Nouméa? This hotel has facilities measuring 1076 square feet (100 square meters), including a meeting room. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: IT was ok - that's all
Cons: While this is described as an apartment, there was very limited ability to have clean sheets/towels. In questioning, we were told to do it yourselves using the washing machine in the unit. While true, there was no washing powder (which we bought) but only a small rack to hang washing (suitable for shirts etc. - no where to hang sheets / towels. We also had to but pegs!
Pros: Primarily the location! We were disappointed not to be offered a unit on the Anse Vata side but fortunately this turned out to be a plus as it was very windy during our stay. Previous two stays saw us on the 16th floor in room 1603. However this stay we were on the 13th floor in room 1307. Our unit fronted Lemon Bay which was very protected from the wind. The noise from the nightclubs was overcome by shutting the sliding doors. The small shop attached to the apartments appears to now be operating daily at more convenient hours for guests wishing to purchase bread etc.
Cons: I would happily return for another stay but once again would have to travel internationally loaded down with basic necessities that Casa Del Sole (despite a multitude of client reviews/complaints) still refuse to provide to its paying guests. I dislike having to provide basic items eg toilet paper, washing up detergent, tea/coffee, bread knife and storage bags/bin liners. Wine glasses were provided but there were no plain drinking glasses. Coffee mugs would have been great as the cups provided, while adequate for tea were very small for an Australian liking coffee!! The quality of one particular bath towel was very thin and contained a large hole. This towel was placed on the bed in the main bedroom in a heart shape. We thought it was for decorative purposes but NO! It was the 4th towel for the 4th person occupying the unit. It should have been discarded by staff into the rubbish bin.
Pros: We loved the large balcony overlooking the beautiful bay. We also liked that the kitchen had a dishwasher, washing machine, coffeemaker etc A few bowls would have been nice, but otherwise we managed well The actual apartment was huge, but very sparsely furnished which is okay for a holiday rent.!
Cons: What I missed was a hair dryer. We didn't bring one, as we stayed in hotels before and they had one. My husband slept in one of the single beds and could feel the coils in the mattress. We were in 802, so maybe someone could check that. He borrowed the mattress from the sun chair outside to buffet the effect, but fell our of bed that night!!
Pros: The wonderful views
Cons: The noisy bars on street
Pros: Location and the staff were helpful
Cons: No coffee tea amenities, hallway lights off so you had to walk in the dark 24 hrs of the day until you reached the lift where there was a light switch on timer, no toilet paper except one roll in each toilet on arrival ( and not advised as such) so that when my wife ran out of toilet paper she had to wait until the next morning to do her business.. was then advised we had to go and buy it.. No room service at all and when requesting beach towels was advised to use bath towels which we could replace on return from tour.. however on return from tour was advised to wash them in the room.. only one pillow on some neglected beds and very sparsely furnished.. additional pillows and bedding along with some pillows on the lounges would have made the stay much more enjoyable.. most of these issues could be done simply with some attention to detail by management .. charge us another 1 or 2 dollars a night and provide toilet paper ..
Pros: Big rooms with ocean view and veranda, decent kitchen with oven, microwave, washing machine, etc. Lots of power outlets (which is unusual in many places). Lots of nearby restaurants (but expensive)
Cons: Iron was broken and toilet seat cracked (but both replaced quickly), no English instructions for room safe or oven etc (but staff were helpful). After initial supply, you must purchase toilet paper and rubbish bags. No supermarkets close by (15 minute walk or US$3 bus ride)
Pros: Ideal location , out of the wind , lovely views from the beach side rooms , thanks
Cons: No tea towel or kitchen cleaning products . This is not the casa de sol fault , but the noise from the disco on the street til 4 am is a pain . Don’t let that put you off , take some ear plugs for a good sleep.
Pros: location and view
From spacious studios to three room suites, most room types have kitchen facilities to ensure a comfortable stay, whether for a few days or several weeks. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV, DDI telephone, internet connection, in room safe, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, ironing facilities and hair dryer. The hotel also features two restaurants - New Caledonias only revolving panoramic -360- restaurant, our poolside restaurant LOasis, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Le Rendez Vous bar. The hotel also has a conference centre with three modular function rooms as well as private break-out suites and a pre-function area. Other facilities include fitness centre, kids club, business centre and an activities desk to organise activities and excursions.
Pros: Great pool for kids although a little chilly!
Pros: The hotel is well located near the beach and near few restaurants. The junior suite is well equipped and clean.
Cons: the shower is low cost. The hotel could be invest in a real shower.
Pros: Reception: Young blond girl best, good professional attitude, very helpful and very pleasant. Some others good however one or two not happy to help.
Cons: Breakfast: The breakfast was poor, same every day, no variation. Very poor value for money. Too little fresh options. Did not feel safe with freshness of some foods e.g. jams, cereals, eggs, rice, sausage- I would not eat these. The reception staff at breakfast were unpleasant. One girl smoked and left the bar unattended. Plates were not cleared from the tables when finished. Rooms were sometimes left unserviced at a regular times, or not at all. Reception staff: some excellent, some not that happy to assist. I sometimes felt that I was an inconvenience.
Pros: Loved the location, staff, the view we had overlooking racetrack, palm trees, pond... and of course a nice little walk to a fantastic patisserie! We had an awesome experience and were made to feel very welcome!
Pros: Our room was located on level 15 with beautiful sea view. Washing machine and drier are available in the room which is good.
Cons: Bed mattress was terrible. Gained serious back pain so decided to sleep on the floor...... never want to sleep on that creepy bed again...
Pros: Comfortable apartment. Great pool and bar area. The young barman in the bar by the pool where we redeemed our complimentary drink because we were booking.com was just delightful. He would be an asset to the front desk.
Cons: The check in was not very good at all. The Ramada states that check in is from 3.00 but we were told our room was not ready and to go away and come back in 30 minutes, we did and it was still not ready. We were left to just wait in the reception until we got our key. We understood this is quite usual. We got no apology but were just told we had to understand they were a big hotel and rooms were often late. Why were we not apologised to for the late room? Why were we not invited to sit by the pool or go to the bar for a coffee while we waited? We had had a very long day and felt this was appalling. We have travelled the world and usually give very positive reviews but this would be the poorest check in ever encountered. It was then interesting to read the check in information and see the Ramada charges 50% extra if a guest is late checking out! But if they aren’t ready for the agreed check in time they aren’t at all concerned. Perhaps their guests should get a refund for the time they are held up!! The front desk staff need hospitality training.
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was in a great location and was very clean.
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable, they were hard and it wasn’t a double bed. It was two singles beds pushed together, this was the only downside to the hotel.
Pros: Good location with large rooms
Cons: Room was very worn and needed a good clean - most surfaces sticky and floor dirty - feet went black very quickly. On non smoking floor but apartment next door smoking heavily with their door open - floor stunk - reported to staff - nothing done. Breakfast cold even when eating at opening time.
Pros: Great big 1 bedroom apartment, with full kitchen and laundry, huge balcony with great view (15th floor facing bay), nice pool area, close to restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries,
Cons: we didn't like the very soft bed/mattress, but that is a personal preference, not a hotel issue
When you stay at Domaine de la Ferme d'Erambere in Dumbéa, you'll be next to a golf course and 10 minutes by car from Garden Golf de Dumbéa. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately only for one night. Great views. Jocelyne was wonderful and when we had trouble finding the the place came to get us. Will return and stay again on our next trip to New Caledonia. The Honey and Passion fruit jam is fabulous
Cons: A sign further down the road pointing to the location. Google maps has the location a little short of where it should be.
Located in Nouméa, Le Stanley Hotel and Suites is by the sea, a 5-minute drive from Stade Numa-Daly Magenta and 10 minutes from Tina International Golf Course. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Only the view towards the sea
Cons: We were charged more for our room on arrival then what we had booked for Hotel very tired & run down Badly in need of refurbishment /redecorating Very bad lighting Uncomfortable seating in lounge area & no cushions Loose toilet seat & toilet door stuck making it hard 2 open Very unhelpful management Shortage of hot water
Pros: The view from the room is not bad.
Cons: I booked the transportation from the airport but no one was there. There was no apology from the hotel at all. There is no restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. It costs fortune to go to Nouméa city Centre by taxi. On Sunday and Monday, you have to go all way to Ansbata to find a restaurant coz Shops are closed in Nouméa. I would not go back to this hotel!
Pros: Staff nice - great views from the room
Cons: Internet service poor, restaurant had closed down so dinner options limited. No PowerPoints near bed.
Pros: Whilst the staff at Le Stanley were friendly, the kitchen facilities were adequate and the morning croissants available at the kiosk were delicious, the accommodation and amenities at Le Stanley left much to be desired.
Cons: Photos of the rooms and pool area were clearly taken during the hotel’s better days. Lime green pebble textured walls, tacky fluorescent paintings, lumpy pillows, a duvet that was too small to fit the bed and poor lighting made the rooms feel cramped an uninviting. The pool area needed a desperate renovation and the picturesque dock was a dilapidated and significant safety hazard. Overpriced and disappointing.
Pros: Quiet except for a little bit of noise on the weekend. Very close to shoreline. Little shop so could get food to prepare.
Cons: Pool was closed. Quite a way from the centre of town. Rocky shoreline not beach.
Pros: Location on waters edge and close to domestic airport.
Cons: Absolutely no drinking or eating facilities after breakfast time and very primitive self service for purchase of drinks or snacks. Could not understand why they could not use the excellent breakfast area overlooking the bay, as a bar for evening drinks?
Pros: View was amazing, staff were helpful.
Cons: Restaurant only open for breakfast. There is no restaurants or bars anywhere nearby so had to get a taxi every time I wanted to go out ($20aud). Upon check out I asked the girl at the desk to order a taxi - she told me the taxi company was not answering the phone and tried to get me to use a shuttle bus company she knew for an extra 1000franc. I made her call the taxi company again and surprise surprise they answered!

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Lovely bar and restaurant are part of the hotel, pool was always clean and reception very helpfull!!!
Cons: Maybe they could improve the internet connection!!
Pros: Breakfast and location were very reasonable in the sense that it is easy to find restaurants and easy access to catch buses and taxis. Merci
Pros: The budget building is some meters away from the main hotel, bit still very close to use the pool and go to the restaurant. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel, you can walk o take a bus to go anywhere in Noumea, perfect location! Very helpful staff! We rented two nights at first but we decided to stay the whole week in here since is so close to everything and the price worth it (Noumea is freaking expensive!)
Pros: Excellent staff, great location, great value
Cons: Wifi doesn´t simply work; network is there but no chance to make the login into it

The bus stop to the town centre and airport is just 5 minutes' walk away. Noumea is 16 km from Tour du Monde, while Mont-Dore is 24 km away. The nearest airport is La Tontouta Airport, 25 km from Tour du Monde.
Pros: Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) enjoyed an 8-night stay at Tour du Monde in January 2019. Being outside Noumea and in the hills was perfect. We could easily get to the Blue River Park and Red South without going through Noumea, the Dumbea River was 10 mins away, and it was easy to get into Noumea for access to islands for day trips when we wanted to. We had a hire car. Jean Claude and Dan made us feel very welcome. JC helped us with maps, planning, and information. Dan was very hospitable and cooked a delicious dinner with local ingredients on our last night. We had two adjoining houses/huts/cabins for our stay, each catering for 2 people, but since they were connected it was like 1 bigger cabin. The rooms are each decorated in a style from JC and Dan's various world expeditions, so there is a very pleasant vibe to the place. The beds were fine, and there was a little kitchen that we used a few times. From the kitchen we could see plenty of trees (including mango trees) and there was a deck outside for drying the swimming/snorkelling gear, towels, and river boots. We had a very enjoyable stay, and appreciate the help and advice given to us by JC and Dan. Merci!
Cons: While we were there the pool was being repaired, so we were not able to use it. This wasn't a big deal as we were pretty busy most days with various activities. Each day there was visible progress on the pool repairs, and by the time we left it was up and running again. Didn't need the air conditioner as nights were pleasantly cool. Sleep quality could have been improved by adding netting to the windows.
