location air conditioning unit was full of mold = unpleasant smell
Friendly Staff. Clean, nice room. Perfect location. Good breakfast buffet. That thew allow people to smoke during breakfast.
centraly located 1. The breakfast room was too small for all the quests. 2. More coffee machines needed, or coffee jugs on each table as you arrive.
Pleasant spacious room.Roof top terrace for sunbathing.Very good central location.Building had character but was well modernised.Clean comfortable hotel with good staff. No, it suited our needs very well.
Central location, close to restaurants and bars. Good breakfast.
Very clean rooms and good breakfast
Prime location. Easy access to all that Palma as to offer. Ideal for city weekend break. Rooms at the front of the hotel can suffer from street noise.
Good Room. Great location. Helpful Staff. Not a lot of lobby. No coffee in room
Excellent city centre hotel for the price, located on one of Palma's main shopping streets. This is not really a holiday hotel, but is perfect for business or short city breaks. The whole hotel was impeccably clean, the breakfasts more than adequate (cooked and continental buffet) and the rooms comfortable for a short stay. There were a couple of little niggles. The room safes are small and cost extra and the shower head/fitting construction means that there is a minor flood every time you shower.
Milchael the hotel manager very accomodating. Great location to everything. The beds could be more comfortable.
Nicely furnished rooms, pleasant patio for breakfast. Poor customer service, internal renovations being undertaken while guests are in their rooms
The location of the hotel was good great views of the cathedral from our room and the roof terrace and the staff helpful and friendly. Work was being carried out on the building next door but the noise was minimal
A super Hotel for little Money, in the middle of the old City, 5 Minutes from the see... very frendly, good breeakfast... anytime again...
We liked it's central old town position with everything being close by. It is a charming old manor house with individual rooms and personal service. It has a lovely courtyard with orange and lemon trees and a roof terrace.
central location. old world charm no
The location is fantastics. We also had a room with a view of the Cathedral. The bathroom was very small and not very comfortable.
Excellent location in a characterfull hotel. Couldn't believe it was so peaceful in the centre of the city..a little haven. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They offered advice on trips, eating out, travel arrangements etc.Would definitely recommend and stay again Breakfast was very ordinary continental buffet but included good freshly prepared coffee
Construction outside the hotel entrance, very noisy. No shower, just a tub with a hand shower.
Helpful and friendly staff Central location Not able to stand under a shower
Liked the location, staff, and quirkiness dirty towels, dirty mat in bedroom and noise levels.
Beautifully restored common rooms, a roof terrace and a private little spa area were presented to us on arrival. the staff were friendly and personable, proud of their hotel. The tasting menu at dinner was great value. I suppose old buildings come with a few annoyances, such as a few ants in the bathroom and very noisy plumbing clanking noises throughout the night.
attention to detail was first class.ideal place to be at peace with a touch of class.
because the Hotel was reported in the Japanese travel books as the best hotel in Mallorca Keeping bed covers in the corner of the room in a bit messy way
Beautiful old palacio with wonderful rooftop terrace and view of the Cathedral. Lovely, thoughtful staff. Although very beautiful, didn't feel like a 5 star hotel and expensive for the area.
Extremely helpful staff Difficult to reach by car
A beautiful hotel, where nothing is too much trouble for its staff.
The staff made such an effort to make our stay just that extra bit special. Service was impeccable! Breakfast should be included in the price or prices should be clearly displayed.
this hotel is a cross between staying in a museum and an old English country home. The attention to detail is second to none: the latest English novels in bedrooms, afternoon tea with an amazing choice of tea and coffee and cake and biscuits in the Monet kitchen, drinks on the roof terrace with amazing mattresses and a good selection of magazines, evening sherry in the beautiful drawing rooms with music and a huge selection of art books, swimming pool, solarium and mini gym and sauna with swimming costumes and shoes of every size, in case you forgot to bring yours, and umbrellas waiting for you when it's raining. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, but unobtrusive staff to make one's stay very very special. The best hotel we h
The hotel was beautifully rennovated, preserving many historical features, yet providing many ammenities as well. Original Miro's displayed in the hallways, replica Monet kitchen, beautiful sitting area with a nice library, and a wonderful patio to enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, cake. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, cordial, and accomodating. Service was excellent, rooms beautifully maintained. Excellent stay overall.
Thank You)) Very beautiful hotell and very kindly people)))
Very interesting and convenient for short stay in the city
This hotel is very cool ! The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are fabulous with quality sound systems. We loved the stylish decor, gorgeous bathroom, roof top sun beds and excellent breakfast . As the bar was quite lively the hotel even provided earplugs when we went to bed but we didn't need them !
Nice atmoshere, very stylish and modern bar with good music and DJ, interesting design solutions in interior, sophisticated roof terrace with the pool. In the room that will be nice to have one more wardrobes and I prefer more light in the bathroom.
very good location and very nice staff member i liked it all
Excellent location for a stay in the city. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Fairly minimalist but spacious and comfortable room. Small fairy-tale rooftop terrace wih magnificent view of Mallorca's foremost landmark, the Cathedral.
Small boutique style hotel. Palma city centre location. Taxi can't take you to the front door of the hotel. Street too narrow, Not suitable for older people or those with limited mobility. Nice rooftop pool and sun area. Excellent reataurants in the immediate area.
Very nice and flexible staff. Served breakfast altough I was half an hour late.
The location of the hotel is excellent - in the heart of the bar/restaurant area of the old town and a short (20 min) bus ride from beautiful beaches. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The attention to detail in the design of the hotel is lovely.
The location was excellent, in the heart of the eating/ drinking district and easily accessible to the waterfront and cathedral/ shops etc. The co-owner of the hotel (male) didn't exactly have the friendly public-facing manner that you would expect in a place like this, to the point that he seemed rude at times- i am utterly sure that this wasn't intentional and was just his manner, but it did make us uncomfortable and reluctant to ask for assistance. However, all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the lobby was a little cold too.
The location was good and the old building it was housed in was beautiful. The rooms were too austere, had to ask for a deluxe after seeing the standard room which was so small and felt like a hospital room. The deluxe had a bit more character.
The Service at breakfast was excellent. The room was sparse and poorly furnished although the bed was comfortable. The small pool was not as clean as it should have been.
The location is fabulous - in the middle of the tapas district and a stones throw from jazz and top end cocktail bars. The building is very well restored and beautiful to stay in.
Reception is closed from 1PM till 6PM. Breakfast buffet is poor.
Central position for both shopping, sight-seeing and marina/sea front strolls. Friendly, helpful staff without being intrusive. Very good security given entrance off central side-street, and quiet tranquil haven away from hustle of city centre. I was travelling alone but good for both solo or groups. Really liked this boutique-style hotel and will stay there again.. Access is via a very narrow street officially only for taxis. No parking - best rent a car per day to minimalise underground public car park costs. Not much selection or menu choice (especially for vegetarian) and expensive for poorly presented plate.. eg.Had great lump of houmus surrounded by small bit of pitta bread. But lots of restaurants/bars close-by.
rooftop bed small rooms, costs compared to other hotels (ie puro)
Very good location, Wonderful contrast between romantic 16c's appearance and modern interia, Excellent recepcionists, We love this place.
The location is fantastic. No doors on the bathroom!
Friendly & helpful staff, great location & very nice room n/a
Excellent location and nicely restored building with good facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, a charming place that can be highly recommended.
Extremely nice helpful staff Overall a great place with everyone motivated and doing a good job Nice to see
it was very central for where we wanted to be- the rooms are well designed and the bathroom was lovely. unusual design / lovely friendly staff especially Veronica in the bar who was really charming.
The convenience of being so close to sights, shopping, sea etc, yet very quiet room at night.
The friendliness of all the staff and the wonderful roof-top terrace and pool. It is quite minimalist for the high price.
The staff were very helpful and professional yet very personable. The courtyard is an oasis from the outside heat. The rooms have plenty of smart storage areas to unpack your bag and put all your things away. Dont forget to checkout the terrace and pool.
Shape, cleanliness, hotel staff
Very clean and new interior, quiet hotel, lovely roof terrace, helpful reception staff, great breakfast and breakfast service. Super beds, huge wardrobe with plenty of hangers, bathroom robes and lots of towels. Good spa (steam room, sauna and jacuzzi). No tea-making facilities and no room service/bar service during the afternoon, bar shut in evenings (staff offered to open especially for us) no full length mirror in room, poor selection of toiletries in bathroom. On balance a newly opened hotel still finding its feet - is very good now and could be excellent.
The staff were the most friendly and helpful that we have experianced in a long time
Friendliness of staff , cleaniness of hotel , services provided and the standard of rooms were excellent lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the hotel rooms
location room although superior had no window and water pressure to shower was poor and so shower was difficult to use
Staff, particulary the girls on Reception very helpful, curteous and friendly. Bed very comfortable, room spacous, clean and light. roof top garden lovely to relax in after shopping. location fantastic. breakfast not included.
First impression, reception staff was excellent, and they upgarded me to better room, just because they could !! I will go there again, that says all.... Two issues so small, that i will not even mention.
Paco and Adrian provided excellent service. Roof terrace had beautiful views. Rooms very light, spacious and stylish. Good breakfast. The night porter was very grumpy
Great location in quiet part of town, but only5 mins from the cathedral and 10 mins walk into heart of Old Town bars and restaurants. Fantastic staff. Cool rooms and roof terrace. Great breakfast.
that it is inside the old city and that the hotel is in an old mansion. the cable tv did not work
The location of the hotel was very good, easy walking to shops and restaurants. We had a junior suite which was really nice, very comfortable beds and a fabulous bathroom with huge luxury bath. The sitting room was comfy with a sofa and plenty of room to relax, we even had our own, private roof terrace. We hardly saw any staff and on the first morning were a little confused when we went for breakfast and although cleaning staff came and went, there wasn´t anyone to prepare breakfast, although tables were set etc. In the end we went out, and later learnt that we had to telephone for someone to come, maybe this could have been clearly explained on arrival.
Very nice boutique hotel , very warm reception, convenient , nicely presented . A little bit arkward for getting the bags to and slight sense of unease about the location - would be of more concern to female travellers
Ideal for a week-end in Palma. Walking around. Eating. Shopping. Close to historical parts of Palma. Placed in fantastic area of old town and very nicely renovated. Don't get rooms towards the street. Allthough no traffic the narrow street is very noicy at night. Don't bring a car.
We enjoyed the relaxed and informal atmosphere and friendly staff who were there when we wanted them, but then melted into the background. The building and location were beautiful.
Quiet location but close to town centre for bars, restaurants and sightseeing
