Pros: This location is truly incredible. The tents are so comfortable, and the focus on preserving the local environment is amazing. I now want a bucket shower at home! The staff are wonderful and welcoming - Dennis and his right hand man Bonny truly make you feel like part of the family. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and most enjoyable stay
Cons: Bed was too small , but comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In the middle of majestic, rugged mountains. Staff were all excellent providing great hospitality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an absolutely stunning camping experience. The team at Etendeka score top marks for creating a comfortable, fun, informative, safe space. Well done! The only thing was that we didn't spend long enough here. At least another night ....... Probably our top experience in Namibia!

Pros: Such an amazing view - possibly the best in a holiday full of beautiful reviews. Lovely food throughout the day. And staying there benefits the community and local environment!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I was there for 2 nights, and spent a whole day on the balcony just enjoying the view. Grootberg Lodge is one of the most beautiful places I've every stayed in.
Cons: Lunch could have been better
6.7 Good
Pros: The view from the restaurant, the dinner which was good, the kindness of some of the employees (ottie and Joseph)
Cons: No electrical plug in the room, very basic room for the price you pay (more than 250 euros), individual mosquito nets for a honeymoon trip
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent and the staff very friendly. But the most amazing part were of course the views - out of this world!
Cons: The pool is amazing, but ice cold, especially in the winter time. It wouldn't hurt to warm the water just a bit, especially since the infinity pool is one of the main reasons why so many people choose to stay at this particular lodge.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view, the staff & the dinner/ breakfast was perfect.
Cons: We didn’t have water at all. I understand that we are in Namibia and this isn’t easy but how can we explain we never had this issue in a campsite but we did have in your expensive lodge ? Wifi didn’t work at all. A lot of Ant everywhere in the room A dead mouse in the swimming pool which stay the next day. We were very disappointed about this lodge. We took 3 lodges in our 21Day travel in Namibia, the 2 others was less expensive and highly better comfort. It’s the first time I complain here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The family atmosphere. The food and table service were quality. The eco aspects of low water and electricity wastage.
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The landscape mostly but everything
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: We've stay there 2 nights. I have to say first that you arrive there as a dream without wake up. It's funny to reach the top of the hill with you 4X4 => You've to experience it as driver :) That place is unique, view indescribable. I would definitely recommend this lodge for any trip in Namibia. A must for your holiday.
Cons: Honestly, it's not about things that we don't like because the view point will make you more than happy anyway. Just few comments : - Internet is not available in your room. - To plug to charge your device in your room. - Swimming pool very cool in the winter - Drone not allowed (-) Food : good and basic (chicken, beef, ...) . Without surprise. This is the only thing that I would recommend to improve first. I would have appreciate more to taste local food, with good game meat, etc. This is the only thing which is not inline with the stay price standards. (one menu is on picture attached)
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Individual staff aggressively asking for tips
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location: fabulous. The view from each room is superb - that's definitely the highlight of this lodge, although we also really, really enjoyed the sundowner and cultural tours that we booked through the lodge. The staff and rooms were also great. Good food.
Cons: Can't think of anything!
