Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park is a great choice for a stay in Carlisle. The seasonal outdoor pool is a great spot to take a dip, and guests can grab a bite to eat at Hidden Waters, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All rooms offer balconies or patios, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi.
Pros: clean rooms, new towels and wash cloths daily, great breakfast
Pros: I was surprised the hotel was as nice as it was for only being a 3-star. The room was perfect which was unusual for an older building. The front office lady was very warm, genuine, friendly. The continental brkfst was as good as a 5-star.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say. I would definitely stay again, if needed.
Pros: The staff was very nice and right on things when I asked.
Cons: I stayed in the smoking room for my sister. I knew it would have a smell, but I know they could do a better job cleaning it and minimising the smell. The TV,clock, and lamp was very dusty.
Pros: rooms where clean
Cons: the swimming pool was under construction repair, we should have been informed of this situation
Pros: Nicely appointed. Well maintained. Continental breakfast was varied. Good value for location
Cons: Yes, our room smelled like smoke eventhough it was supposed to be non smoking. The towels were very rough and thin, The shower faucet was difficult to use and regulate. The bed was not very comfortable. Our fridge was unplugged upon arrival.
Pros: Newly renovated these people and her staff, work extremely hard to satisfy you. Very comfortable bed pillows and fixtures are perfect. I travel a hundred fifty days a year and great value.
Pros: Friendly staff, located close to event and markets/restaurants, free wifi.
Cons: This is a MOTEL, not a hotel. The doors of the rooms are on the outside of the motel, in the parking lot. As a female, I do not feel safe in this type of place and would never have booked a room there if I had realized. Pics don't show it clearly.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Clean rooms perfect
Pros: Quiet area. Clean room. Everything worked. Complimentary newspaper. Very good breakfast bar. We've been there twice, as have some of my siblings, and we all enjoy it.
Nicely taken care of, updated.
Pros: Really warm showers, convenient access and super close to the people we where visiting in Paris, definitely beat driving from Lexington every day.
Cons: I would recommend staying on the second floor, the floors are a little creaky and can be loud with a guest above you.
