The customer service us superb and high energy. Shower is magnificent and just the cleanliness of the whole hotel. The only problem is time of checkout, 11am is too early. Also if you want to extend stay it should be cheaper cause you're returning customer I think.
Only complaint is WiFi could have been faster.
PART 1: If I could give this place 0 stars... I would. What an insult of a place. If I could give them negative stars I would. Thank God I only stayed for a night. This is middle of nowhere motel quality. This is $20 a night hole in the wall quality. To the point that I wouldn't be surprised if I come home with bed bugs. The place is disgusting. Everything is dirty. But let me start from the beginning. We arrived from a 10hr flight from Paris, tired, and ready to use a bathroom that is not a litter box. They gave us our room, on our way there a random guy asks where are we staying and he took a key from his pocket and open OUR room, he later said he was housekeeping.. He didn't even have a uniform. We got to the room the beds were halfway made, and the a/c sounded like the engine of an airplane. To the point we had to raise our voices to speak. Well we went back to the lobby (if you can call that a lobby - just a waiting area) and the lady apologizes that she had placed us in a "out of service" room. Well she never came to our room to take us out, she waited till we showed up. After that, they gave us a room on the second floor, mind you, 3 of us, 6 suitcases, from a trip that lasted over a month + NO ELEVATOR... Yeah the stairs were not a lot, but after a 10hr flight carrying 6 full size suitcases was a challenge. No one helped. The hallways are all exposed to the elements, but there is no upkeep. No sweeping. But whatever that's besides the point. I'll give it to them, it is outside. PART 2: EVERYTHING is old in the room, even the key pad. We had to swipe the key twice or three times. We got in, the curtains were broken, I stayed with the stick to move them in my hand. We never understood how the a/c worked. If I put it on 73-74 we will freeze; 75-76 we will sweat. The beds were okay, the bathroom where the toilet is, has zero ventilation and the a/c never reaches it. So it's an oven. Specially after a shower. We came with $10K worth of stuff, from gifts, electronics, stuff we bought, jewelry, etc. there is no safe to put any of your valuables. So we didn't really feel at peace when we left the room to go visit family. There was garbage under the beds, no "do not disturb" sign; not that I needed it since no one came to clean up the room before check out. The closet is a good size. Well we had something to look forward to tho, free continental breakfast. They give you a coupon for that, it's from 7-10 am. If the room was an insult, this was the final punch on the face. It was one table ... With literally nothing, and we were there at 8am. There was regular loaf bread that smelled like beer, stale mini muffins, and you make your own waffles - only if the batter machine decides to work for you. There was ham, and cheese, and all this other options that if you wanted them you had to pay extra. A couple of old folks drop some muffins and a cup on the floor by mistake, and they lady taking care of the breakfast area; just kicked everything under the table. Yeah, exactly.. For over $100 a night, I have never felt more ripped off in my life. If this place was half or one third of the price I might consider staying. But don't ever pay more than 50$ for a room here. You will be better off somewhere else. The only think good about it, is the location. But it's not justifying the price and the upkeep of the place.
Close to home Terrible beds insects in pillow case ,water from sink smelled,
very old room has to be redone A to Z Pillows must be 10 years old Shower must be 50 years old Do not think windows been ever wash Breakfast is toast and if you take waffle get ready to wait and even there is terrible. They do not do their room every day so we had to ask for towels the next day.
Location I found cockroach in my room, the matress was completly old and curved. I tried to check out to change the hotel and told me that I can do checkout whenever I want but I loose the money that I paid for the week, and was A Lot!!! What a disappointment!
location grounds some ot the staff bar & resaurant John Zabawczuk troy ny no elevators for us 80 year olds with heavy luggage parking is way to far away for us The restaurant staff and bar staff were were wonderful and friendly Our Thanks to Linda & bartender Joanne The black girl at the front desk was terrible to the point of being rude The grounds were wonderfully groomed and fresh. The housekeeepers did not understand english which was ok but our bathroom sink was full of ants and we had asked them to please get rid of the bugs and vaccum the rugs which they had not done untill our 4th day of stay,we also had fleas in our room
The room was not what I expected from the outside. There was a man living out of his car in the parking lot which wasnt very welcoming. We got into the room and the bathtub was 1/4 full of water, urine and pubic hair on the toilet, teeth flossers on the carpet by the bed, food crumbs on the carpet and broken brackets from the bed underneath just laying on the carpet. The ceiling fan was sitting only 2 inches above the entertainment center, so we were afraid to turn on the ceiling fan because of the possibility of it hitting the entertainment center and breaking. The breakfast was cereal, mini muffins & waffles. Not much effort on the breakfast. I've paid less and got more at other places. This was a very disappointing stay and do not recommend it.
Very good Front desk service. The room was very clean and well organized. The a c wasn't working right and it makes a lot of noise to the point that sometimes wake you up and the tv is outdated. The parking is too dark at night it needs more lights.
Decent location. Go-to for golfers. Noisy, I could hear drying machines. The walls were thin which allowed TV and talk noise from adjoining rooms to be heard. Checkout clerk was rude.
Area was nice Resort is old and the ambiance was like staying in an inferior motel. Bathrooms are very out dated, Bath tub caulking was yellow. Furniture was also out dated.
The lobby and hotel view is great. Have to carriage our bags to the second floor using stairs. No elevator. Continental breakfast I give and F. Bed was terrible.the water was yellowish?..I saw mini roaches in the bathroom.
Nothing was favoorable. It smelled like vomit. I ended up with a eye infecction, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
Close to meeting site room not clean, towels and bedding low quality, few in room extras, needs a refresh
Cleanliness of my room as well as the entire hotel I stayed at this hotel twice and this is the second time that the rate was miscalculated.I was required to pay a $50 deposit upon check in which would be returned when I check out. When I was leaving I was only given back $27 of my deposit, when I inquired I was told that the taxes weren't added to the rate when I checked in.As I said that this my second incident at this hotel
Overall cleanliness of the hotel as well as my room
Smelled like smoke, old, ran out of food at breakfast, door broke
Excellent staff. Bed and bathrooms were terrific. Breakfast was pretty good for this type of buffet. Floors needed to be vacuumed and some of the furniture was dirty on the sides. We found this out when we moved a coffee table and our hands were sticky afterwards.
The hotel is a self-contained city...lots of shops and restaurants...the downside was its a casino on Indian property so smoking is allowed----YUCK!
Nice hotel with a good entertainment Service when we left the room our plane late, they din't help us (only for money) with a shower before we going. We must too the toilet in the casino for other close.
we only stayed for 2 nights and we really liked the swimming area and the casino the room was just what we wanted we will visit again the next time we are in florida 5 star all the way
Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
The casino wasgreat (even tho' we lost). Thefood was usually of good value. Our room was niceand the bed was great but itwas almost a mile walk from the elevator and wewerelocked out onASaturday night foralmost an hour!
The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
location to sun life stadium staff was rude and room check-in is disfunctional. room should have been ready much sooner than it was.
I love the enviroment, staff, most resturant & shopping The only thing I dislike on every trip is room service, not the service itself but the food is of poor quaility. I made an inquiry a few trips back and found out it was prepared by The Blue Plate, where I dine after 1am as it was the only one open.....it's horrible!!!
Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort. The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
The beds and linens were wonderful in our room. Room service for breakfast was excellent. The pool area is really lovely, both day and night. Rod Stewart's show was excellent. We found the hotel staff, with the exception of security people, were rather "grumpy".and this includes bartenders.
I can not tell you just how horrible our stay was. we were still awake at 9am from the noise in the hall ,the next room was party city. How many whores can fit in a hotel room? even the dirt in the hallways and elevators surprised us. this isn't a hotel on the weekends it is like a sorority house with absolutely no rules and no regard for anyone elses sensibilities. horrible horrible stay.
Nice people and when things weren't right they made it right.
Love the pool and the view of the beach! Everything was clean! Couldn't take food outside to the pool or a cooler. Security guards were annoying on that.
Pool area is fantastic, beachfront hotel and staff were accomodating and most of them freindly. very expensive to buy anything at the hotel. Room was not perfect but the beach view was memorable!! Worth the extra $$. There was no free wifi even with the pricy room! not acceptable these days.
Pretty location and the facilities are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and operations were a hot mess. Ownership has changed and it was as if every employee there was on their last day of work. The checkin was a mess, the billing was wrong three times, the beach was nearly impossible to get help with chairs etc. the place is on a steady decline. Find somewhere else to stay for that kind of money unless they get their act together. We recommend the Palms in Miami beach! Same price but 1000% better on customer service and style.
Worst cell and internet reception
The location and beach access. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Construction didn't take away from beauty of hotel. The resort fees. Just include in price up front.
Excellent pool bar service! Rivals sports bar service on both visits was BRUTAL! Stay at the other bars on property or go somewhere else. You will be glad you did.
Location of the hotel is great, beautiful pool and patio, Great staff overall. The hotel is under heavy construction switching from Westin to Hilton So if you like the sound of pile drivers at 6h00am every morning.... Nothing was told or specified when we made our reservation that the hotel was a construction site!!! Not professional at all!
They aré remodeling all the hotel, so all services and features are not available
I love the Diplomat - it's my home away from HOME! :) I wish I could go more often
Excellent location, very nice pools and grounds, nice bathroom and comfortable beds, good TV selection, wonderful beach. Part of the hotel is under renovation and we could not go outside to our balcony. They were all locked and dirty from the reconstruction. We have stayed here about 5 yrs ago and everything was perfect. Everything is still very well kept ,but the hotel is starting to show signs of wear. So, the renovation is on time. Finish date is Fall 2016. I can't wait to see it. We will be back. Hotel very crowded and busy this holiday weekend.
THE beach, the room, the lobby I was charged for everything! Even charged for receiving a delivery package. At the end, it ended up being a very expensive hotel.
I loved everything about the place The only thing I didn't like I was treated to two days at the hotel and it was paid for at checkout I was charged for hotel fee complimentary water a chair on beach that was a bit strange they should include it in the price especially When U check in and they tell you it's complimentry I get a bit cheated
Location, great pool, lots of on site food choices, no need to even leave the resort The housekeepers would forget to clean the room. Mattress is terrible
Staff were absolutely amazing, thumbs up to the crew. The pool is absolutely beautiful, rooms clean, beach is five seconds from the pool. Highly recommend staying here!!!
Location Staff from the pool really rude open more time the pool
Very clean room. Very helpfull staff. Beach is across the street. Great location to restaurants.
Elizabeth the front desk person was excellent room was not ready at check in. location.. no beach access
Across the road from the beach. Room was clean. The pool on the waterfront was cool. Water taxi came to the hotel and was only $26 for an all day pass. The noise from the elevator. Only 3 doors down but still was quite loud. Area was away from the bars and restaurants. Needed to get an taxi to most places.
The pool area is very nice & it overlooks the intercoastal waterway. Cool little Tiki Bar and wonderful staff. I do not think it was clear the beach is not any easy walk from Resort and you can barely see ocean, ocean view rooms, very misleading. If I stayed there again, I would stay in a room that overlooked pool area/sound side. If you are not an beach/ocean lover, it would be a great place for you.
Excellent location and very nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. A bit pricey to eat at the hotel.
The staff here were great, especially the cleaning crew. I did not like paying $17 a day to park my own car.
The rooms were great Paying 25 bucks to valet everyday was ridiculous.
Very big rooms. Each room has a balcony & a kitchen
The staff was super friendly, they recognized me by name every time I walked in the hotel. It was just a girlfriend and I staying here during our college spring break and we felt extremely safe while staying here which is important for a couple of females when in a place they have never been before. The pool area was somewhere we hadn't planned on using much since the beach is so close but we had some windier days while visiting so the pool was the perfect solution since it's more protected from the wind. The hotel is only a short walking distance from the boardwalk, restaurants, and Walmart so you have lots of stuff right close by if you don't have a car and don't want to pay for a cab. The hotel is also one of the stops for the water taxi so that can also get you most of the places along the board walk using that. The $18 self parking fee per night was kind of ridiculous to me. I loved the fact that it had a security gate although people could still walk past it. The self parking area didn't have a side entrance so you had to walk back around to the front of the hotel which wasn't that far of a walk but what bothered me the most is it wasn't well lit area. Other than that though, we had an overall great stay!
The room was spacious and clean. I also liked that there was an exercise facility on site. I was attending a conference at the Westin and the Crowne Plaza was very close to that (walking distance) and the cost was half the money.
Approx. 300 meters to the beach, nice pool area and situated to a "river" with a very nice view from our room. Rooms are large.
Good for the Money to much noise from neighbor rooms
Super comfortable beds The airport shuttle experience. I was told it would be 15-20 minutes, I waited about an hour before just taking an Uber from the airport to the hotel. And when taking the shuttle back to the airport, the driver was unfriendly.
Proximity to the airport and an hourly shuttle. Breakfast and the breakfast area are quite nice. The rooms are comfortable and quiet.
Clean, quiet, free shuttle, extra helpful staff!!!
The room was spacious and the bed comfy, but the bathroom!? I loved the decor and fixtures. It was like a mini spa and I wished I could have stayed longer to utilize the pool and work out room. Would definitely stay again.
I paid for my hotel room in advance, and I paid in full. My flight was delayed and I didn't get to the airport until 3 am. Hyatt gave my room away because I hadn't checked in, and then sent me to a comfort suites. I paid for the room, so even if I don't check in, why give it away?
The combination of staff anf facility was outstanding. I want to stay there next time. it is a new property, so swimming pool was not available.
Quick access to and from airport Very modern and clean Restaurant in hotel has good food choices beyond the norm Late check out only until 2PM--hard for those with a late flight out.
I liked that the staff was attentive and it was in a great location. Steps away from restaurant's on the board walk or across the street. And of course minutes away from the beach. They provide free beach chairs and towels so that's a plus. Minor plumbing issues. Staff was attentive. I would suggest you ask for a 2nd floor room.
It is an inexpensive place near the beach. You probably save at least $50 over the next cheapest place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Let's face it you get what you pay for. The price was very good and you were a block away from the sand. The facility is old and showing its age. The rooms very cheaply decorated and the bed was awful. Dehumidifiers in the rooms would go a long way to improve the experience.
Overall everything was amazing, clean, huge and full equipped room, what's surprised! Close to the beach and very quiet ambient. Pool and bbq are nice too.
Location near the Broadwalk, walking distance to the beach, bed and couch were somewhat comfortable, small kitchen with plates, glasses, and utensils, full fridge You can tell the remodeling work is rushed, outside windows were very dirty, shower heads are crusty and in desperate need of replacing
Hit anything on beach or boardwalk with in a minutes time Staff nice but not eager...son says needs better WiFi
A real throwback facility, but that's part of the charm. Couldn't ask for a better location in terms of proximity to beach, restaurants and saloons. .
Beach chairs and towels included. Very clean and bright, fun colors.
I loved the room! Very clean and quiet with a nice modern look. Having the beach and boardwalk so close is a huge bonus. A lot of the shops on the boardwalk were open WAY later than I expected them to be seeing as it was during the week. I will definitely be using this hotel again. The only downfall I came across was the late check in procedure. My plane was delayed 2 hours, so by the time I got to the hotel the office was closed. I was a bit uncomfortable with my room key just being in an envelope in a box where anybody could have grabbed it. (I didn't realize that the office closed at 11pm, but that was my fault for not double checking. I had originally scheduled a late check in, but would have been there before 10 so that conversation never came up.)
the value for the money everything was nice only issue is the tub could have been cleaner
I specifically requested a first floor room near the beach due to the fact that I have two very young children and they went above and beyond a provided my family with the cottage room closest to the boardwalk/beach! I absolutely love this property and my mother and I want to spend at least one weekend a month, if not every other month, at this property!
This is a fantastic location for people who want to be steps from the beach. There were a lot of fun shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. They have beach chairs and towels for guests to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a $6 a day charge to park a car.
We liked the location....near the airport and near the cruise port and that they have a free shuttle. Also, the room rate is usually decent. Although the rooms appear pretty clean the entire building and furnishings are in dire need of a remodel/update.
Excelent location, clean room and bathroom. Over priced, the hotel isold, the door needs repair, the bathroom door has to be changed, it started to exfoliate
The Tiki bar & airport shuttle. This hotel was fine for the price & what I needed - one night to catch a flight the following day. My tub dripped but there was a door to the tub/toilet so I just shut it.
Great pick up from air port and organized shuttles to cruise port, breakfast hot and cold Room smelled stale, door barely shut, long walk to room from front desk
Airport shuttle everything else
The only thing good about this place was the staff Rooms dirty, furniture was broken or coming a part. Trash cans were full the night we checked in and wasn't emptyed the morning we left. Lesson learned if you book with Kayak make sure you know the quality of the hotel yourself. Don't rely on their BS reviews. I also learned Kayak doesn't reimburse me for early checkout which is total BS because I relyed on their reviews when booking this hotel. I will not use kayak again.
Nothing Rooms dirty. They never did housekeeping. You would have to go to the lobby to pick up your towels and soap. This place is dirty and low class
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was very pleased with the shuttle from the airport and to the cruise port. Everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast was a bit hectic. It was nice to have a free breakfast, but too many people crammed into a small space.
not clean and needs serious updating
Courtesy shuttle , pool bar open until midnight Crappy breakfast included,
The free shuttle was great. Very convenient and on time. Just call hotel, and arrival time for shuttle is within 10 min. Small bar onsite. Kim was very friendly and helped us order takeout for ourselves at the bar. Friendly desk staff, and great shuttle service. Rooms are clean, showers work well. Would stay there again, when flying into Ft. Lauderdale.
Love the location and cery friendly staff.
Our group of 12 guys went down for the Jets v Miami football game 11/4-7. The staff and facilities were top notch. The pool area was small but nice. The location can't be beat, right on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, steps from the beach. Everything you need for your stay is in walking distance. Fly into FLL and 15 minutes late and $13 shared cab ride later you are enjoying everything South Florida has to offer.
Good for money I spent, but staff was unhelpful and the location was ok but the view was terrible
Clean, nearby everything, breakfast, pool is great! Second time here and I will be back! Breakfast was cut off too early
The place is clean people are friendly and there is a limited breakfast in the morning so it's easy to get in and get out Right next to major highway so opening windows brings in lots of noise
The customer service was top of the line. The staff was very professional and well pleasing. Great job overall. Make the windows facing the highway sound proof.
I enjoyed everything. The Staff was awesom. Rooms were clean, and were kept clean. The free breakfast was awesome, with many things to choose from. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to visit my daughter.
We drove 4 hours from key west and arrived there after 11pm on Thursday, the guys we met at the front desk, the door guard are both very friendly and very patient,Also when we leave Saturday morning,we had a good time at first floor with all the great service and smiles.thx a lot.
Very good hotel for the money
I liked the remodeling of the hotel and the rooms. It has a more modern look and was very clean.
Clean hotel, excellent remodel, attentive staff ELEVATORS! Get those things inspected, one only worked half the time and the other sounded like it was dying, way too loud and rickety.
Staff was nice and friendly Wasn't a big fan of the room location. The room was located on the first floor and I could hear all the noise and chatter from the front desk and dining area.
- proximity to Miami -Fridge in room -Hot delicious breakfast (including pancakes) -Cleanliness of room -had a little difficulty getting around that town due to the "upper class" gated communities near the hotel
ese hotel definitivamente no sirve muy malo ,demasiado dinero por un hotel tan viejo, las habitaciones sucias, no lo recomiendo para nada
Staff Area Value for money The Carpet smells
Location Parking is very limited - There is no elevator - Wifi is very weak, only in the lobby you can get some connection - The room had only one outlet - Once past the lobby it feels like you are in the getto and it is kind of scary - we were given a room that was ready and when I open the door the room was not clean, the bed was not made and there was trash lying around.
Close the airport The smell of the place
It was close to the airport, I really like the fact they had an airport shuttle. Close to some restaurants if you don't drive (pizza, McDonald's) Limited cable channels but for the price it's not bad
It was close. The guy at the reception was nice. The driver charged me to drop me off at the airport.
Breakfast is free, shuttle to airport is free. Dirty, walls are very thin. Noisy, there was used shampoo in the bathroom.
The people working were loud and inconsiderate. I wasn't able to sleep. Also, there was a roach in the bathroom.
I liked the location of the hotel itself I had young children, and the hotel did not provide any channels so that my kids can watch TV, it seems like the hotel is a stop over for adult only entertainment, my neighbor handling his business with his lady friend and it could be heard, I'm just glad my kids were sleeping at the time. Bathrooms were way too small, not enough amenities.
the location is very good lo unico bueno fue la ubicación everything, room to small, not clean, expensive todo estaba mal, los cuartos pequeños y el precio muy alto
The hotel transportation was speeding and scary. when we got there we saw two cockroaches in the lobby. On our way to the room we heard some very loud sexual activity that I am almost positive was paid for. The room had stains all over the carpets and bedding and the shower was extremely dirty. Worst place I've ever stayed.
Comfortable No shops nearby
Breakfast The airconditioner don't stay on and takes too long too turn on soo cann't sleep good
I only stayed for a night during a layover and everything was pretty good. I liked that there was a shuttle, so it made it easier for me to get to and from the hotel in a less than 10 minute drive. The front desk people were all very nice and helpful. It would be helpful if somewhere on the confirmation email it emphasized that the shuttle had to say HOLIDAY INN and SLEEP INN in order to get in. Another lady and I were upset as we had to keep asking different shuttles which one would take us to our destination. It was a late night when the shuttle driver picked me up so I understand he was probably tired, but he did not have to be so rude. Instead of getting out of the car or rolling down his window to talk to me, he used confusing body language that I did not understand so that seemed to upset him. He did not greet me or say anything when I was in the car. I put my bags away and took them out of the car without his help. Besides that little incidence, my stay was great. I would definitely return again during a layover.
This location was fine for a quick overnight stay between flights. The location and the hotel were quite adequate and the bed was comfortable. Pizza ads were under our door upon our arrival. After a long day traveling, we ordered in, but they didn't show for over an hour and a half with a simple order, after we walked to IHOP for food. We'd suggest this hotel stop this establishment from leaving these ads. Multiple reviews online we later found showed this was a continued issue with lackluster food.
Shuttle Driver from the airport was extremely nice, told me places to go and visit. Very professional. Breakfast in the morning also a nice point. Nothing...
The confort n price
I like that the shuttle van picked us up from the airport and gave us info on how to get to the port of Miami for our cruise. The staff was very nice and informative. The breakfast should include eggs though, other than that, everything was great!
Everything. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out . and the breakfast was served and replace quickly. That there were not ice machines on each floor.
Clean and nicely designed General Manager was a bit snippy
Close to airport. Shuttle service very good Sub par rooms. Unfriendly staff
The stay was pleasant, quiet and uneventful. Thank you! NO!
The breakfast was very good and the staff and the frontdesk Shuttles from the hotel to aventura Mall and beaches and some more information what the amenities are when you're staying at the Hampton
Excelent location. Close to all major shopping areas. Confortable beds. Good breakfast. Shower could be better
Towards the end of the board walk Close to several eating places Outside music / bar on property 2 free hrs. bicycle rental Staff very nice and helpful Free WiFi You can only check in until 9 and then office closes Was not given Wi-Fi password and it wasn't in the room so I couldn't work my first night (apology given, and accepted)
on the beach bar scene
Quaint, friendly staff. We chose the Rip Tide because we wanted the charm of the classic motel/hotels of years ago & it fit our wants/needs Definitely not their fault, but Mother Nature put a "damper" on our stay!! We made the best of it but could only imagine that nicer weather would've only made the charm & experience that much better!
I like the staff they were friendly,I also like the pool.it's very close to the shopping mall and other stores. I did not like the rooms they very old and beat up. Didn't seem to clean. I had to switch my room when I first got there but the next room was not the greatest either. Also I thought that south beach was close but it was a 30 to 40 min drive there.
Bed was comfy and the room was clean Pillows smelled humid and sweaty, that was about our only complaint.
Read what I didn't Like instead because there is nothing good to be said about this hotel. I booked my room online and got my booking confirmation number and everything. When I get there (at around 11pm because my flight to MIA landed @ 10) They tell me that they have cancelled my reservation because i didnt show up before 6pm. THIS WAS INDICATED NOWHERE!!!!!!!!!
Room wasn't ready when we arrived but the front desk was very helpful
Just the place. The room was suck. Outlet plugs dont work
Location Wifi in the bedrooms was very slow.
location price the room smelt like it was once a smoking room or the carpet had not been cleaned for a while. Mark in the sink was there for the full 4 days- cleaning inadequate had to ask for extra towels tub is permanently stained Hotel needs refurbishing
The hotel is near shopping mall and stores. There was no fridge and microwave in the room. These are upon request and against payment. Other 3-star hotels offer these facilities for free. We were 3 guests in the room and had to ask front desk for an extra bath towel (there were only two in the room) and also bath towel (we did not receive ANY in the room). They told us they were out of bath towel because the hotel was full. There were NO bath math in the bathroom. House keeping was out of bath mat!! Too high price for such poor facilities.
i booked through kayak which sent me to priceline. after paying, neither kayak, noe priceline relayed my reservation info to the hotel. i spent over an hour at the hote ldesk trying to get checked in. horrible experience.
Absolutely nothing!!! • Someone else's pubic hair in the bed • Black mold on the shower curtain • Ash trays in a room that was suppose to be non-smoking. LIES!!! • No TOWELS in the room • Given one towel for two people, no hand towels • The worst hotel staff of any hotel I've ever stayed • Worst experience in any hotel EVER!!! • Will never stay at ANY Ramada EVER!!! • I will NEVER book a hotel through KAYAK or PRICELINE EVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Not much Front lobby dirty and front desk personnel not very helpful
The hotel presents a shabby first impression. Dirty, worn carpets, strong smell of disinfectant, staff were friendly, but didn't make up for the overall tattiness of the hotel. Room was clean, except for the worn, carpet, bathroom clean, lots of towels. Air conditioner was sporadic, never really cooled room. Minimal hot water available, full hot produced a tepid shower. Bath was lukewarm at best. There was no stopper in tub and it took forever to get one delivered. Restaurant was only available at certain hours, wait staff seemed to cook the minimal breakfast, service was friendly but very slow. Wait staff had minimal command of English. Overall, a disappointment, a place to stay overnight only.
