The hotel was beautiful. The view from room 802 was awesome. The beds was comfortable and the room was very clean
I wished it had a microwave in the room.
There's no sign at the entrance
I liked the bar and non-cookie cutter layout of room and lobby.
The facility is a little aged but convenient location for food and activities.
Location- view- room size/comfort
Staffs attention to detail was VERY POOR. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and capable of exhibiting professionalism: however, on two separate occasions I had problems related to service: one where the staff completely ignored my request for housekeeping to straighten my room and in the other case room service got my order 80% wrong and was very late in delivering it to my room, by the time the order was corrected the food that was correct was cold so in all the meal was incorrect cold and late.
Hidden Gem Fantastic Views
Great character- 1930’s style bar comfy couches, corner rooms have awesome views
Restaurant needs a menu upgrade- better dining options very close by
hotel is historic L & N railroad station - architecture .Interesting
First - easy to get to off highway - convenient Antiques, restaurant , lobby bar,
The train passing by the hotel! 2-3 times per night freight trains (with horns blaring) pass just feet from the hotel Light sleepers beware
Thin walled rooms and noisy neighbors make bad com
The hotel was in a great location and fundamentally was a nice facility. Room was a bit small for the price; bed was comfortable
We had an obnoxious and seemingly intoxicated neighbor on the 7th floor yelling at his female roommate that made the measly 5 hours of sleep we needed to get seem to be a lot compared to what we did get - none. Two complaints filed with the front desk merely resulted in a delayed yelling and by 3 a.m. the same man simply talking and we could still hear him through the wall. Unacceptable for a $140.00+ a night room.
did not expect that!
Price - great value. Location - could walk to event center across the street and walk to historic downtown & waterfront.
Train at 2:30 AM - very loud! Room temperature swung wildly from oven to meat locker. Location (two-edge sword) - an event I did not attend meant intrusive security in the parking lot and loud music late into the night.
Nice accomodations convenient to downtown
This is a very nice property that is clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay very much , the staff was very professional, and helpful, the rooms very nice !! I rate it a great place to stay AAAAAAA+++++++
I only wish they had a laundry room
Loved the attention to detail.
Historic site with style with efficient caring staff.
Nothing not like about the treatment or amenities, everything was fine.
