Cons: Waiting for a car that was reserved but not ready. When ready it had some damage that had to be noted in the inspection sheet. Inspection sheet did not get copied well on my copy.

Great for the price.
Pros: Once I had the car it ran fine and the trip was innexpensive.
Cons: It did take me a while to wait in line at the airport and the cars dashboard was not very clean. When I arrived at mdestination the clerk was not very friendly, however I didn't have to talk to her much so that was fine.

Cons: I picked up my reservation early and told the attendant that I would still return it within 24 hours from the time of pick up. She acknowledged she understood and made adjustments to the reservation. When I returned the car they charged me for the additional hours from the original reservation time even though I returned it within 24 hours.

Pros: There were no issues with returning the car to the Pensacola Airport.
Cons: In all rentals I've done in the past, there has been no charge for spouse to be included as a driver. Clerk was not friendly, and was not helpful -- seemed to just want to finish the transaction.

Pros: Although a Dodge Caravan was reserved, I was given a Toyota Sienna...boy, was I lucky. The Sienna performed great.
The agents were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Cons: I made a reservation through KAYAK for a car rental, and when I arrived in Pensacola, I had to take a cab to an offsite Hertz location (15 dollars) and the counter girl told me I had to bring it there the next morning before they opened and get a taxicab back to the airport to catch my 7:15 am flight. Then I got got charged $42.50 which was more that my reservation amount. This was NOT a good experience.

POOR Customer Service for Pick-up
Pros: The car was fairly new and for a long one-way trip it was nice to have no concern about breaking down. Gas mileage was great! Agent at drop off was very busy but kind and flexible.
Cons: Scheduled pick-up was 6:00 but office closed at 6. Arrived 3 minutes late to find the attendant leaving and less than helpful. Learned the next morning that the reservation was automatically cancelled due to not being picked up. New reservation was placed but cost an ADDITIONAL $40 (including a discount) and a hassle to get the car.

Not if you're in a rush...
Pros: Location was close to my house. Truck division is outstanding.
Cons: First time user for passenger/light-duty division . Made online reservation. While the large number of "salesmen" were rushing around, I still waited 30+ minutes to finally get off the lot. So much for the convenience of being close to the house. Too much scripted protocol and red tape. IMO, the suit-coat's and bow-tie's are overkill. The best customer service doesn't require shiny shoes or posh attire. It's about well-timed service and understanding the needs of the consumer. I'll stick with less professional, casual, "real" people of the lesser rental brands at the Airport.

Cons: I selected pns as pickup location in kayak but system reserved the pickup location in town. Therefore, I never picked up the car. I would like a full refund from kayak. Tried to call to cancel the car but the enterprise location didn't answer the phone

Cons: Guy conned me told me 228.03 was a deposit that would be refunded in 1to 3 days. I'm told now it was extra insurance what bullshit. I paid priceline I would not have spent another dime on that rental CON refund my money NOW!!

I was not warned when renting from Kayak that there would be a relocation fee because I was going one way and the overall rental cost me 250.00 instead of the $65.00 I was quoted on Kayak, but I had no other choice. I am in the military and had to meet up with my unit ASAP.

Cons: In Pensacola, I was there twice and there was not person at the counter to help me. I went to the other counter which was very busy. I ended up calling the Payless number to make sure All was taken car of. They said they would send a receipt but never did.
Other than that, it was easy and affordable!
Cons: I canceled after reading many negative reviews about their terrible customer service and went with a different company.

Pros: The vehicle was comfy and fairly easy to navigate for pickup.
Cons: The customer service desk while checking in was not as customer friendly I would have liked. The questioning was a little invasive for a 4 day car rental. I'm sure it's procedure but the approach could use some grooming.

Cons: I reserved my car through Kayak. When I got to the rental counter at the airport, the agent told me there were no cars available! I had even called Dollar a couple of hours earlier to see if I could pick the car up at 11:45 instead of 1:00 which was stated on my reservation. She said "no problem!"
The agent said this happens all the time when the reservation is made through a third party like Kayak.

Cons: I thought the car was uncomfortable. The head-rest at the top of the seat, would love to not have that. At my height, I took a pillow and put it behind my shoulders to keep my head from that. Other than that, great car, good gas mileage. Also would appreciate having more Avis discounts, I go at least 2 days every three months, and twice a year, I rent for a whole week. It would be nice if you could look back at my previous record and see how many years I have used Avis. Being a senior on a fixed income, it would be great to get discounts. Regards, Cindy

Didn't like the experience of driving a Ford Fusio
Cons: Reserved minivan to drive family around for my husband's funeral. Waited 10-15 minutes in line to be told, "we don't have a car for your reservation, try Enterprise". No apology, no nothing. Will never reserve from Thrifty again.
