Well, when we got there the staff where nice. But the carpets to the rooms where very stained. It smelt like someting was damp and when i opend the room door, it stank. It smelt like mold or somthing had been left wet in there for days. My hubbie had to get a different room. It was much better but i would not stay there again with my family. Sorry to say as the staff where nice but it was just not kept up. I know it in an old town but if your offering a service, make it a good one. Thanks
The elevators needed a lot of work, the elevators only worked half of the time. A couple of people got stuck in the elevator for a half of an hour they had to call the fire department to get the elevator to work and that wasn't the first time that happened. Also the breakfst was ok, the scrambled eggs could bounce they had a big assortment of food. They have temperpedic beds, and nice bathrooms but when you take a shower it would flood the bathroom and sink area. I would probably go there again if they fix all of those mistakes!
HOUSEKEEPING: Lack of towels-No dusting/sweeping-Lack of Amedities. Door left ajar a couple of times after maid service. No HBO schedule for July.SERVICES: Elevator works only 5 of 7 days-Lobby's complimentary coffee only get filled once in the morning!-One ice machine of three works 30% of the time. One room got flooded and ran into the indoor pool (where did the water come from?
Hotel is outdated.Appears to have been a smaller hotel that they added two buildings to,resulting in what used to be an outdoor pool becoming an indoor,and seemingly open to the public based on how many people left the hotel lot after the pool closed.B'fast is only meal restaurant serves,so kids eat free is out the window after 11.No fridges in room,broken ice machines everywhere.Not what they show themselves to be in their info,I will not be back.
This is the nastiest Holiday Inn we have ever stayed in! The red tile floors and many sections of carpet were absolutely filthy! The pool water was cloudy and puddles of dirty water surrounded the pool. The carpet in the room and the elevator looked like they hadn't been vaccumned in weeks. The bathtub had hair in it and there was mold on the shower curtain. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if it was free! We spoke with the manager soon after arrival, but saw no chnge in the 2 days we were there.
We were very disappointed. The hotel needs major updates. The lobby, pool and other areas were very run down.
I don't know where to begin. Staff was below average. The pool was very dirty, the water was green,cloudy and it smelled. The building is in serious need of repairs. On the upper floors their are stairs in the hall making moving your luggage quit a choir. We could not find a luggage cart. Some of the rooms side on the indoor pool and can be very loud. The windows did not close all the way in the room. House cleaning were cleaning rooms all hour of the night and day. Just don't stay there.
The Holiday Inn in Downtown Wilmington should be ashamed of itself. First of all, the hotel was completely misrepresented on the internet. The lobby, the halls, and the room were drab and not clean. The cleaning staff's equipment was present in the halls all throughout the day and night of our stay, but I do not think they were utilized on the rooms. The pool and hot tub were not heated. The staff was unprofessional and not courteous. The only positive thing I can write about this hotel is its proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens.
my widows faced the indoor pool, that was packed with kids from 9am to 11 pm.
Not the Holiday Inn quality we are used to. Several things broken...elevator, spa heater, ice machine. Pool and spa water very dirty (cloudy and green). Coffee maker was only 1 cup at a time, no fridge (had to use a trash can as a cooler). AC stuck on low. Had to ask the front desk 3 times for pool towels, took over an hour.
Checked in at 10PM and ate at Ledo. Went to room and young people all over-hanging out and running around. Cleaning staff all over-talking. Room dirty. Went to bed @11PM and pounding on door next to us and couple screaming and fighting and child crying. After 15 minutes of this, we pack up and go to desk. Wait 20 minutes and nobody comes. Go back to room and leave first thing in AM.
No-one on reception after 6pm on Sunday and the building is locked, accessed only via a code. We were not able to enter the building as there was nobody on reception and the shutter was down over the reception area and we also did not have the correct code to enter, as the code sent via Active did not work. I spoke to a resident who was leaving the building at the same time , I showed him the code and he said that this was the wrong code. We could not therefore enter the building to pick up the key to the room which we had booked via the internet several months earlier. There are no instructions of what to do if there is no receptionist present. Also, there is nowhere to park. There is a private secure underground car park attached to the building, but you require a fob from reception to access the car park. There is no other close car park near to the the apartments. The apartments are based on a very busy corner road with non stop traffic and no footpath or inlet to stop the car, so my partner had to drive past the apartments a quarter of a mile down the road in order to safely pull in, I then had to walk back to the apartments to try to access the building. As I could not access the building I was left with no other choice but to seek somewhere else to stay for the evening.
Modern clean efficient; close to city centre and not far from station. Kitchen in room convenient. Hotel's striking design makes it easily identifiable when lost in unfamiliar streets! Limited drop off parking space for visitors arriving by car with luggage.

Excellent central location, rooms look pretty new and very clean. Still appears to have a lot of building work around, but didn't effect our stay.

Well situated. Clean and new. Staff pleasant and helpful when there (not evening, night or early morning). Secure available parking. Room had everything we needed. Room not cleaned at weekend as no staff. Part time reception desk. 'Threat' of 15 Euro charge if kitchen area not clean on departure. Parking difficult on arrival as need key to access car park. Difficult returning key on departure. Breakfast poor value.

Excellent location within walking distance of the Castillet. There was a slight "drain" smell in my bathroom which in my opinion was due to poor sealing between the toilet and soil stack. This could easily be rectified by resealing.
Clean, functional and private; plenty of kitchen utensils etc. Staff were polite and helpful. Easy access to the town of Perpignan and 15 min walk to the station. The image on the web is incorrect: the hotel is still being built and we had a noisy building site outside our window. Although the building we stayed in is very new, the heating and extractor fans did not work. We reported this but nothing was done. The room was a little cold but there was a blanket. There was a dangerous and busy road to cross to get to the hotel with no obvious crossing point. The hotel had no character whatsoever, you could have been anywhere in Europe.
The hotel is ideally located for the town centre, the rooms are on the small side with a small window so is dark. but clean, the bathroom was adequate and clean the biggest critism would be the corridors it has led lights and is very dark, the hairdryer did not work.
It was fairly central, good quality hotel. Free public parking nearby overnight. Tourist office at other end of the park. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
The location was ideal and the staff were very pleasant and helpfull There was no restaurant facilities other than for breakfast. The car parking facility is very tight and difficult to manouvere in.

The Hotel has a good location. The breakfast was plentiful including exellent fresh fruit salads.The room was well appointed and quiet. The quality and crispness of breakfast bread and pastries were below our expectations for France

Good Location in Perpignon The reviews said the hotel was old, but the windows in our room were ridiculous. They, and the room, would shake every time a car passed, and were impossible to silence. A hotel on a busy street requires modern windows: I find it difficult to recommend this basic and old and hotel.
Nothing outstanding. Reception closes at about 22.00. We phoned ahead to say that we had been delayed but when we arrived a note on the door asked us to ring a number for the access code. Nearby parking was advertised but with no one to ask where, it was a case of driving around until we found it and then carry our luggage back to the hotel. At 01.00 in the morning, that was not the welcome we wanted. No tea/coffee making facilities.

The hotel is right in the centre of Perpignan and so ideal for the rugby match that we travelled to see. Construction work on the building next door started in the early hours of our second day meaning very little sleep. The hotel itself is very old and this is noticeable throughout, although it was very clean.

The sympathy of the hotel crew. It's really impossible to find it if you don't have a map of the city. I had to go around the block four times, park at the Wilson Parking Lot and have the hotel clerk guide me through the streets by the cell phone to be able to get there.
Staff members very kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Although downtown the rooms were very quiet. There's no parking lot, only a public parking a hundred meters aways which costs about 15 euros per night.

Hotel de la Loge is a small, family-owned & operated hotel, very centrally located in Perpignan. It is on a quiet ruelle wide enough for foot traffic only. Owners Mirielle and Herve Barraud are cheery, outgoing, and very informative. All by themselves, they are worth staying at their hotel. The room was modestly appointed, as befitting the modest price, but very clean and neat. The couple recommended several restaurants (highly recommended is Amalia Restaurant 50 meters away, which features Portuguese-style tapas and the haunting songs of the famed fadista Amalia Rodrigues. Between the owners and the very central location, this is a superior choice. I will definitely stay with them again on my next visit. I am not a complaining personality, and besides, found nothing to even consider complaining about.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice view of street, well cleaned room, well functioning bathroom, comfortable beds (though bit small for tall people). In terms of decoration, furnishing and facilities, rather dated, consequently seemed expensive. The room was also really quite small for the 3 beds we had. If it had been 30% cheaper I would not mention this, but I have stayed in very much smarter rooms all over europe for the same money.
