Pros: Because of our booking mistake, we had to rooms on our second day. They gave us a room at 9:30 AM so that we could move our luggage in the morning. The bed was great, the bathroom and shower were roomy. We had a deluxe king room the second night and it was excellent. It had a couch, desk, 2 TVs, a walk in shower with a bench seat and glass shower doors.
Pros: Bed room
Cons: No refrigerator no micro oven
Pros: Nice amenities and very clean place. I had a suite with a single King bed and it was very nice. Lots of room to stretch out or socialize with a few friends. Price was fair ($130 for a Saturday night in October) and I would definitely stop back again.
Cons: Rooms had just a bit of a musty smell, perhaps some previous water damage? Was slight enough to only be noticeable for the first few minutes you're in the room.

Cons: bad smell in the room

Cons: When I checked in, I was greeted by a small child instead of an adult. Weird! The bathroom looked as though it hadn't been cleaned. And when I went to use the bathroom later on, I saw a roach! My expectations weren't high to begin with, but come on!
The room was clean (and no smalls) and very roomy. Had a decent sized TV with good channel selection, and a good wireless WIFI connection. The outside looks '50s and somewhat run down. Crossing traffic to get in was a little tricky at times. No phone in room parking lot was less than ideal for a motorcycle coming and going. Still for the price I was pleased and would stay again.
Pros: The price was the deciding factor, and the room was large, decent, and clean.
Cons: The office, small, and seemed cluttered. You would never hang out there.
bedroom and bathroom were clean, all appliances worked, good quality TV comfortable bed
Pros: good location near to river and parks excellent restaurant next door
Pros: Room was clean and roomy. Not many amenities, but for the price it was excellent.
Cons: No hair dryer.
Very nasty/dirty place!
Pros: Nearest to where I needed to be.
Cons: The office was a pig sty. The rooms were very small and smelled bad and the bathroom was not clean. There was a bunch of residue (dark spots or splashes) on the toilet seat and streaks in the area of the toilet where waste goes down. Nasty.
We needed a simple cheap one night stay and it did the trick
Pros: Right next to a good restaurant.
Cons: Bed was hard and could be a coffee pot in room.
garbage out side of our room and just overall kind of creepy.
Pros: close to the highway
Cons: it was rated a 10 and was no where near that!
Enjoy your visit to Ottawa with a stay at Surrey Motel. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The hotel wasn't very modern or very clean. My boyfriend and I chose this hotel due to it being inexpensive. Our home was damaged by a tornado and we needed temporary accommodations. I was exhausted so I tried to think about how dirty the bathroom was and possibly the bedding. The front desk lady showed very little interest in what she was doing. Probably because a manager or owner was yelling at her the whole time. The hotel served our purpose but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros: It's an old hotel but the staff do keep it clean and are very helpful. Breakfast consisted of a choice of two cereals and a self-serve waffle machine. There were pastries, milk, coffee and orange juice.
Cons: Immediately upon entering one can smell the masked odor of cigarette smoke and it permeates the entire hotel. The metal coat hanger rack in my room wore a brownish film from previous smokers. There are three floors in this hotel but NO ELEVATOR so the older or disabled should look elsewhere for accommodations. The floors apparently are wooden and one can hear them creak from the tenants on the floor above. This hotel is in need of a makeover. The breakfast room was very small and could only seat about eight people.
Cons: Room smelled terrible of smoke. Room was freezing when we arrived. Felt very dirty overall
Pros: Perfect location for our trip, king nonsmoking room for reasonable price. Early breakfast so we could be on our way early.
Pros: Quite, clean,great breakfast choices.
Pros: Not the quality I expected
Cons: Really needs to be rennovated
Pros: It was right off the interstate.
Cons: Online it states there was a swimming pool- there was not. Our room smelled like urine and had black mold up the wall in the bathroom and sink. At check out was given another persons information.
Cons: this hotel was rated 4.7,I thought that was of a possible 5, but apparently it was of a possible 10.
Just didn't feel like could relax. Breakfast in am was nice.
Pros: friendly front staff
Cons: In process of renovation ( which is most needed) but our room could have been cleaner. there was hair on bathroom floor, and what looked like ants ( I hope)., crawling in corner of bathroom
Cons: The manager was rude, the room smelled like smoke despite being labeled as non-smoking, and the room felt dirty. Very poor quality continental breakfast, no fruit, only cheap pastries and bagels.
Cons: Awful. Room smelled like an ashtray, even though it was suppose to be non-smoking. Construction workers in a big dorm-like room. Bathroom sink outside of lavatory.
The manager got us a different room on the next floor, the hallway looked like a battle zone as they had started stripping off old wallpaper and smelled really bad too. I'm sure in another year it will be nicer, but I won't stay there again for that price.
Cons: The entire place was under construction. There was a painting crew working across from the room they gave us at 9pm and when we got to the room the door was ajar. Apparently the crew was using the bathroom in our room and from the smell not long before.

Pros: An OK motel for the price, was quiet when I was there, which is good, and it's convenient to the highway. Basic facilities, a/c, bed and shower, were fine.
Pros: Microwave and Refrigerator in the room
When visiting Spring Valley, Spring Valley Inn is a great choice to consider. Freebies like breakfast, WiFi, and self parking are added perks, and guests can keep active with onsite mini golf. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The affordable price for a locally owned establishment.
Cons: The cleanliness or lack of to be honest. There was mold all over the back of the TV. As well as bed bugs in the sheets which I have pictures. I addressed this to the manager/owner and he asked if we wanted new sheets... I replied no and even offered to stay in another room but he said nothing was available and offered me half reimbursement. We were there for less than 2 hours and it cost me 30.00 which is not a big deal. But when I mentioned reporting him to the health dept. he couldn't care aless. Thad saddens me from a local operated facility. We left and went back home but will never stay there again under any circumstances.
Pros: Great Price. Bed comfortable. Good location across from Restaurant within 7 miles from
Cons: Is a little bit run. We were given a key to an occupied room on first attempt.
