This is a great hotel for families on a budget that want the option for several pools. The hotel is well kept and clean however the facilities are dated and in poor condition. The A/C in our room ran for two days straight and never got below 70 degrees and it was only a high of 80 for the day. We tried to open the slider at night for relief only to hear the golf cart back up alarms, maids talking and slamming doors at the laundry facility well after 11pm. The on-site restaurant looked amazing and was part of the reason I booked this hotel but they had private events all weekend so I couldn’t get any reservations and had to travel 30 minutes south into Scottsdale each night.
Pros. Pool is great with kid friendly options. Location is perfect for activities.
Cons. The upkeep has gone downhill, things out of order or in need of repair / upgrade.
Cons. Rooms need updating. Pool dirty. 90% kids. They should advertise this resort as a kids and family resort. Not a good value for the money
Pros. Everything was amazing.
Cons. How early check out was not the best.
Pros. Aging but acceptable property
Cons. The practice of a mandatory resort fee seems to be a gouging tactic if you don't use the services. Not against this property specifically, just the industry practice. Other than that, a pleasant stay.
Pros. I loved the cozy rooms, I get cold very easily so I was able to turn the heat on full blast while being in a SUPER comfy bed. Room service was amazing and very quick and the staff were very nice and helpful.
Pros. Easy check in
Cons. They boast "millions of dollars in recent renovations" but the rooms are just awful. I remember this resort from many years ago, and at the time it was very nice. They have basically let the whole place become run down and have milked it for all the money they can get out of it. It is a run down crappy "resort" now, and should be condemned.
Pros. I like the location on 16th Street. Nice bars and restaurants close by. Water park was fun.
Cons. Rooms are a bit dated. Water park was smaller than I was hoping. Not a lot of choices for dining on resort during summer.
Pros. It's a nice place, bed was so good
Cons. Nothing to complain about
Pros. Nice rooms for the price, fun waterpark, but the pools were dirty and the pool pavers were blistering hot on our feet.
