The Restaurant and the charactere of the building The room had thin wall which means that you clearly hear what'a happening in the next room! However I slept well.
Excellent service and very nice and beautiful hotel. Many free extras such as borrowing a Porche for free and free entrance to beautiful spa area. The breakfast buffet and the restaurant were excellent.
This hotel was by far the best one i have ever stayed in!!! The stay began with a receptional greeting that was superb. From there the experience just got better. The Mosel river was a 2-3 minute walk away and the dining was of top chef status...very gourmet. Looking for a great getaway for Valentines day or an anniversary...you have got to go here!!
Friendly competent staff. Comfortable, spacious room. Excellent restaurant.
Location, restaurants and rooms Lack of AC and minibar
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Service very good. Fantastic hotel if you are looking for a romantic and relaxing holiday away from home. Web-site advised golf was 3km away however the closest course was half an hour drive to Trier.
Quality of breakfast and diner was excellent No bar/frigerator in the room
The spa was lovely although it didn't have a pool. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was a little too remote for us. Mulheim is a small village with very little in it.
Fantastic lady in red jacket on reception, very helpful. Lovely hotel The staff on the bar for the outside garden needed to be quicker and needed more training
This has all the ingredients of a top class luxury hotel. The staff (mostly young girls) were pleasant and professional. Breakfasts (with Sekt) and bar meals were also very good. The slight drawbacks mentioned below were therefore all the more frustrating. There seemed to be no "joined-up" management, and no-one really in overall charge. On two occasions we booked at reception for meals but the restaurant did not get the booking. The gourmet restaurant also did not allow guests to eat indoors in the evening (away from insects), so we were forced to eat in the bar, and on another evening we were told we could not eat anywhere in the hotel, and had to find a meal elsewhere. The junior suite we booked was very nice, but surprisingly did not include a bath but only a shower, and being at the dormer level with no airconditioning it was also uncomfortably hot. This hotel has a lot going for it, but seems to need a shake-up to reach true Relais et Chateaux standard.
The situation room airconditioning was not very efficient
Exellent quality, spacious, recently decorated rooms. Luxury facilities, Very pleasant terrace overlooking the river for a drink and food. Pleasant, helpful staff. Peaceful village close by that provides alternatives for eat & drinks if you want. I advise you to do your best to get a room on the river side of the hotel. The other side overlooks a road. There is no noise because of good insulation, but of course it is less attactive as a view.
Friendly Staff. Great location and beautifully decorated hotel. menus only in German.
Very well located on the Mosel river banks, good base to explore the wine region.Rooms have been beautifully refurbished to very high standard. Plenty of car parking. Food of a good standard, especially the breakfast buffet. A dinner menu in English was not available and dining room staff on duty in the evening spoke very little English. Breakfast staff did however speak good english.
Friendly staff in hotel, large rooms and all in all a lot of space everywhere. Spa had no pool nor jacuzzi this is rare. Hotel should also mention that kids are not allowed to enter spa area. My family didn't visit there at all. Restaurant with dinner and service was not on same level as hotel rooms
Its position on the Mosel A little soulless. Hygiene in the breakfast room was a concern on one day with uncovered cheese and meat attracting flies.
the rooms, the location, the beer garden The bar
excellent surroundings and very relaxing no wi fi access after repeated attempts and asking for assisitance from reception no problems at other hoterls
Nice environment along the Mosel River and nearby vinyards. Nice and confortable room. The breakfast (that was included in the price) was excellent. We booked a room for 2 adults and one child. When we arrived at the hotel the reception told us not having received the information about the child. As a result we got another room (which was a nice room) but not the one we initially booked.
All the staff was very kind and most helpfull. The food was very good and the location on the bank of Mosel beautifull. No nothing.
Covenient location Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful owner.
Very friendly and helpful owner, lovely room and it was the perfect location for biking down the Moselle
The owner is there for your needs, small, open and reactive
Nice ambiance and good breakfast with a class of sekt
Although we only stayed one night, whilst breaking our journey, the welcome at the hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the evening meal was out of this world - the choice on the menu was excellent, together with the choice of local wines to accompany it. We wished that we were staying longer.
food good staff friendly booked a room with balcony with a view of the mosel , the hotel is on the wrong side of the road , there is no view of the river. The manager tried to get us to move on the last night so she could allocate the room to another guest by telling us there was a defect in the room.
A delightful hotel. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the family owners. A complimentary glass of wine with our (excellent) first night's dinner led us to buy some of the Conrad's own wines, which I can recommend. There's not much to see in Brauneberg itself, but nearby Bernkastel-Kues has a lovely centre (Markt), a spectacular castle and several cafes and restaurants
beatifull place with a excellent restaurant. The staff was very friendly and caring. no
This hotel was outstanding, individual and authentic, an old mill, farmhouse and vineyard. Beautifully appointed. We arrived on our bikes on our ride from Trier to Koblenz along the Mosel. Very quiet and peaceful. The room was outstanding. Food was also first rate. One of the few hotels I would like to go back to
Location is good. Room was very cold and had a smell of mop. Maybe because it is spring. No toiletries in the room. Halfboard was not worth the money paid. Had an impression it was constructed out of leftovers. Declaired lamb was in fact very pappery beef goulash. Wud not reccomend to take halfboard.Breakfast very poor too.Generally not worth the money paid.
Very nice location, very very good food, excellent value for money, extremely helpful manager. Do not hesitate to spend time here, no matter what season. None !
The hotel staff greeted me with a smile and allowed me to park within the courtyard of the main building. They arranged for a taxi and had breakfast waiting for me when I woke up. The hotel is beautiful.
fantastic value and surprising location background noise from neighbouring Sawmill during the day
The Inkeeper was very nice and spoke very good English. The buffet breakfast was served in a beautiful room with extra touches such as a generous plate of meat and cheese was brought to each table as well as a separate bread basket. None
Easy to find. Centrally located. Excellent kitchen.
Location was excellent for visitng Mosel region wineries.
excellent location in beautiful area
Good atmosphere, plenty of local produce to test. English speaking staff
