10.0 Excellent
Pros: comfort, service, location, food, swimming pool,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful comfortable peaceful hotel with fabulous facilities which maintains a real family run feel. All the staff were so thoughtful and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We spent the last two nights of a road trip through Italy and Switzerland here. All the staff were really amazing and accommodated all wishes. There was a wide choice for breakfast with good food. Dinner was especially lovely, with great food and good wines. On the second night we chose to have a more relaxed dinner in the lounge area and we ended up having a very private dining experience with excellent service and equally lovely food. I don't remember ever having had such gorgeous soup.
Cons: On Saturday night there was a private function. No matter the hotel or location this always somewhat detracts from the enjoyment of other guests in a hotel due to closing off or taking over of the common areas and inevitable late night noise. The hotel staff dealt with this as best they could. It would be better if small and beautiful hotels like these require large parties to make a private booking of the entire hotel for such occasions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is newly renovated and really beautiful. The owner, Mrs. Walther greeted us at the entrance and also wished us a good trip after checking-out. It's a very well run family business. Everything there is perfect!
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the Hotel Walther was simply terrific; it is posh and lovely, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We felt very welcomed by all staff from the moment of our arrival, and that the owners made a special point of greeting us, and sharing their time with us, that is truly special. We dined at 3 of their restaurants and all were among the finest of our travels in Switzerland. The spa, pool, and saunas are lovely. Gardens lovely. We would love to and hope to return in the future.

Cons: Nothing.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Something almost unbelievable happend to me in this “Grand” Hotel. I decided to go spend two nights there last minute since my favourite hotel the Badrutts Palace was still closed at this time of the year and I hadn’t been at the Kronenhof for a long time and wanted to see how I would like after all those years. I called their reservation department hoping to get a more advantageous deal than online. I asked the lady if I booked directly with them she would be so kind to give me an upgrade from a deluxe single to a deluxe double room for single use, same room just a bit bigger. Her answer was “no I cannot do that that’s a five time upgrade” in a bit mocking way. I told her that logically this was just a normal upgrade but she kept insisting it was a five time upgrade, I tried to reason her but there was no way, so I gave up on this, which was really a pity because both of us knew that this was really the lowest season of the year and giving me that upgrade last minute wouldn’t have cause no trouble at all for her. Then I asked her if she would be willing to give me a better deal than online, she have me a 8€ discount per night if I would book with them directly. I thought it was a joke so I told her I knew that if I’d book online they would have to pay around 15% to the online booking company and asked her if she could give me that discount instead of paying it to that company. Her answer “No I’m sorry”. Ok so I told her that in that case I’d prefer to book online because it gives me certain advantages and is much easier to do, just click a button and everything is set, especially since I was driving at that moment. She said a bit arrogantly “ok you can do that bye bye”. That was already all a very disappointing experience, but wait, the best is coming now, and you won’t believe it. A couple of minutes later I went back to the online booking company and wanted to reserve the deluxe room which I had been looking at since a couple of days already and... it was gone!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities, the staff, the SPA area and the food. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. All of the staff were brilliant but we would particularly like to mention Angel ( our funny reception contact for most things ), Roman ( our photographer ) and Nikita ( who was particularly helpful on the first day ). We took advantage of the half board offer which was excellent value and we did a meal swap with the Hotel Kulm which was good. As with all hotels and organizations, it is the staff that create the ambience and culture that makes the whole experience come together - Hotel Kronenof do this to perfection and made the `` funny English couple`` very happy. We will definitely be back and recommending the hotel to our friends. We have stayed at many top class hotels throughout the world but this is the best. Thank you Kronenof - see you soon !!!
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - Great service - Dinner (half board) was exquisite - Amazing view from the spa - Comfortable bed - Beautiful dining/breakfast room
Cons: - Shower (in the room) was fairly small - Kids were playing around in the jacuzzi and no reaction from the staff - Not enough sunbeds in the spa (all were taken)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool is nice
Cons: The service is not great. I had issues when checking-in (no doorman to pick up the bags), and the process took longer than necessary.

Pros: this hotel is off rte charts. beautiful, luxurious and the giant spa was like nothing i've ever seen in my life. i recommend paying for the included breakfast deal.. which was also better than any meal i had in switzerland.
Cons: there's not one thing bad about this place or even mediocre. perfect.

Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, good value for money
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was great, as was the breakfast, and if in Pontresina again we might re-book on a B&B basis. The location is very central, close to the shops and to the chair lift. The speed and friendliness of the check-in was exceptional.
Cons: The half-board option was disappointing. one gets used to Switzerland being expensive, but 3CHF for tap water? And 7.50 CHF for a bottle of mineral water? The kitchens appeared understaffed, as the wait between courses was excessive - clearly to the agitation of other diners as well as ourselves. And lastly, in our younger days, the quantities would have been seriously small, not what one needs after a good walk in the mountains.
5.8 Okay
Cons: A room called ‘deluxe’ is actually with a bathroom from 1980ies - smelly carpets and all that... Book ‘premium’ room - those are apparently renovated / same price approximately

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at the Hotel Albris. I was traveling with my two young children (1 and 9) and the staff did everything they could to accommodate our needs, from filling bedtime bottles with warm milk to helping us get to the train on time. The food and restaurant environment were both fantastic, as well, and so we never had to search for a delicious meal to start or end our busy days. We can't wait to come back to Hotel Albris!
Cons: The neighbor started work on their home project at 8a, which woke my kids from a restful sleep. Once we closed the windows it was quiet, but we didn't get to enjoy the fresh mountain air while we slept.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great spa area, tasty breakfasts, beautiful building and location, nice and friendly staff
Cons: - shared bathroom - we were aware of the necessity of sharing bathroom, however it resulted very uncomfortable, since it was occupied most of the time - extremely small room
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Great place and service.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was exceptional- very well trained, friendly and helpful staff The hotel, gardens and pool were well built, maintained and extremely clean and tidy Meals were first rate Very well located
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect position
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall quality was excellent. The wellness center was a welcome experience.
Cons: The hotel is an almost 1km continuous uphill walk from Pontresina station where most long distance train services terminate. Surovas station, advertised as 250m from the hotel, requires an additional short train journey from Pontresina. This is somewhat misleading, and a reference to Pontresina would have saved my 80year old legs a stressful walk with baggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice. We felt as if we were treated as special guests. The staff we encountered were kind and caring. Also, the spa was wonderful and after all the hiking we did, it was both healthful and healing.
Cons: I can't think of anything I did not like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Classic. Clean. Friendly. Great food. Parking secure. Close to train stop. Alphorn concert on friday. Nice outdoor seating for afternoon refreshment drink
Cons: All was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The spa was fantastic. Breakfast buffet had many choices. Would stay again.
7.7 Good
Pros: Exceptional service. Very good breakfast buffet. Free Access to spa in adjoining hotel. I had a Clean Cheery (but small) single room with very nice LCD TV. Shared bath facilities are very clean and new/modern. I stayed there to rest from the Bernina express bus/train trip. Pontresina is a tiny town in the mountains and location is good for bikers, hikers, outdoor activities..
Cons: No free wifi internet in rooms. free access at single terminal near lobby. Not inexpensive, so no great bargain, -good/fair value. Perhaps excellent value if you use spa/pool next door.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food and service. Definitely add the half-board option (35 CHF) if you stay here. Gay-friendly.
7.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is quite cozy and comfortable and clean with an excellent restaurant. The breakfast buffets were plentiful and delicious and the one evening I had dinner there it was very good. I really enjoyed the spa facilities with the steam and sauna rooms and the pool after long days of hiking and the hotel is situated just steps away from the bus stops that bring you to the gondolas one needs to take to hike. The Engadin card that all the hotels in the area give to guests are a big moneysaver as they allow guests unlimited use of all the gondolas, buses and trains in the region at no cost. I believe this saved me almost $200 in just a few days.
Cons: The shared bathroom was a long hallway away from my room which was a little inconveniently far after showering or first thing in the morning when in various states of undress. But, it was always spotless.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The desk manager was very helpful regarding transportation schedules. The breakfast was excellent. The use of the spa next door was wonderful.
Cons: Our room had low wooden beams that created some problem moving around.
5.7 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a wonderful place - it has preserved the fabulous atmosphere of mountain villages in the Swiss Alps, traditional cuisine from honest ingredients, and has a cosmopolitan society of modern Europe. the place is just like in paradise - a short distance from the cable car to Diavolleza and Lagalb, a little down there is the Morteratsch glacier, even if the hotel is by the road, at night it is quiet - I'm sure to be back.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel in a very quiet and peaceful area. Everything was very clean. WiFi was free. Breakfast is good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a very beautifully renovated old guest house, with a very welcoming and cozy breakfast/dinner area. The breakfast buffet is full of local goodies and very rich, the kitchen serves excellent food for lunch and dinner and you get to sleep in cute but spacious rooms. The carpentry in the entire establishment is simple, yet tasteful and of swiss quality and feels very sturdy. All amenities worked without complaint. All in all, you will find a beautiful home that feels like any home should.
Cons: Nothing particular. If walking to the pub is of importance to you, this place isn't for you, because it's standing outside of any nearby town. The next town is Pontresina, about 8km away, reachable in 10 mins by car, 15 mins by train or bus that stop straight in front of the hotel. But the slopes are a mere minute by car away...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms. Good variety on the breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff.
Cons: It is difficult to get to the hotel late evenings. No more trains or busses.

Pros: building / garden & pool / terrace / breakfast / very quiet / excellent views
Cons: a bit costly (despite high season)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is now a very large hotel and we stayed in the modern extension which includes a well equipped pool and fitness centre. Breakfast and dinner are taken in the older part of the hotel which has more charm and a traditional feel. Our room was very large and on the ground floor with its own small patio with sun loungers. The bathroom included a bath and separate shower. Views from the hotel terrace towards the Roseg valley , and over to St Moritz, are lovely and it was nice to enjoy a drink here after long days in the mountains and valleys. Breakfasts are excellent - a buffet with great variety in a large airy room - very nice but you can also sit in the smaller dining room overlooking the mountains. We felt that dinner was expensive, of good quality and well presented, but with small portions. Waiting staff were charming as was everyone we met here. The hotel is opposite the conference centre and Tourist information office and pretty well in the centre of town The station is about a 5-10 minute walk away.
Cons: The only way to get ventilation in our ground floor room was to open the French Windows and this gave us some concern about security at night. We also felt that dinner was expensive although you have to remember that this is Switzerland and most things are expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the art–nouveau Restaurant with a beautiful park–view, the perfect cleanliness in each and every corner, the excellent SPA center. Decoration of the rooms is simple but they are spacious and offer all the comfort that‘s needed. The personell is very gentle an ready to help in each situation. The rooms in the lobby and some corridors are used as an Art–Gallery, which makes the exploration of the different parts of the property futher interesting.
Cons: The connection between the different parts and buildings is sometimes a little „Labyrinth“ and needs a while to get used to. It was in any case no problem at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location Room view was excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Everything was excellent

Pros: Views from suite were exceptional
Cons: Breakfast could have been better

Pros: Lovely hotel, excellent service and food. Staff is very nice, making all possible to accommodate even short notice requests. And the food is great... We will definitely come back.
Cons: Only one small thing.....the spa was open only after 3pm. It would be good to have the possibility to use it even in the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent, providing easy access to biking and hiking trails. The room was very nice and clean. Highly recommended for anyone planning a stay with lots of outdoor activity. Even the mountain bikes have a home - the facility includes a bike storage!
Cons: No negative comments at all.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Evening food was excellent (we really enjoyed the dessert buffet that the chefs had put together in the kitchen that was part of the Menu on the Saturday night we were there.) Staff were all very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Room was very comfortable. Wellness is on top floor and consists of a jacuzzi, 2 Saunas and a steam room.
Cons: Nothing, in peak season it’s a bit expensive, but everything in Engadin is quite pricey...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Beds hard and room warm. When opened window got bugs
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room size good Brekkie ok
Cons: Staff not very friendly, mostly from Switzerland's Northern neighbor. Service definitely has no smile and only providing what they are asked for. Basic amenities i.e. just soap, shampoo in room. Expensive for what is being offered.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Laundry service, ski room, breakfast food/choice, room space. New Year’s Eve music live very good.
Cons: Parking cost, Stübli restaurant service (slow/expensive/somehow unprofessional but kind), cold desk service (except Simone, very helpful and cool), staying for the new year we would expect a treat for the New Year’s Day (for instance Marzipan piggy), Aperitif with the staff/owners without any kind of food/snack offered/available.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast buffet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent standard double room with a very confortable bed and a roomy bathroom. Spotlessly clean! Great service by friendly staff. The little chalet restaurant is cosy and serves fondue and raclette. The garage is amazingly clean and well-lit and has several chargers for electric cars (important for us, since we have one). We will return again!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Location was ace.
Cons: The shower/bathroom needed updating and renovation. For the price we were paying it was a little below expectation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The location was perfect for connections to buses and trains. The staff was very friendly. The room was very quitet during the night even with the window open for cooling the room.
Cons: The room was a bit worn down and in need of renovation, especially the carpet. Cold milk for the breakfast müsli would have been great.
5.5 Okay
Pros: It was clean and the staff was nice and available.
Cons: The main problem was the heating in the room. There was no heating working since they keep it the full day very very low so it was not enough to heath the room. We had to ask an electric stove. It is absurd especially for a place in mountains....outside was snowing with -4 !!
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean and big room.
Cons: A bit old fashioned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful friendly staff only to willing to help with any requests made
Cons: More attention and observation needed from waiters in restaurant who left us sitting over half an hour between courses we got fed up of waiting after desert so we walked out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice hotel, and I hope to return. I had a single room - it was large enough and very comfortable. The view was splendid. Included breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - answering all questions, and making sure everything was good. The location in Pontressina is very good - a minute walk to restaurants, shops, ski rental and so on. The bus to the ski lift at Celerina is 50 meters from the hotel, and the fare is included in the room rate. It's about a 10 minute ride to the lift.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice and cosy hotel with a really excellent restaurant (book a table ahead). The staff is really caring and taking care for guests needs. They even offer free back pack to rent for hiking tours in the area. Soft beds und a peaceful night!
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Wifi signal was a bit low. That said I had a small room on the edge of the building. I feel like it is easily fixable by buying some cheap equipment like wifie signal amplifier. No special knowledge needed to install really
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Service was great! Sandra the receptionist/waitress/hostess/activity advisor was incredible. There was nothing that she wouldn't do to make our stay great. Breakfast was good. Rooms were massive. Location was perfect and we were given a bus pass for the area so everything was so easy! The restaurant was also really great, the food was really good (Pork is a must have!) Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing

7.9 Good
Pros: Good location, in the heart of the village. Very good, reliable WiFi. Really excellent breakfast. Good value for money.
Cons: The room, which had only a small cast-iron radiator for heating, was chilly. The walls were thin and every sound in the neighbouring rooms was audible - conversations, other guests using the bathroom, even the neighbour's snoring. The wash basin in the room produced only a trickle of lukewarm water. The breakfast room was gloomy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An elegant hotel filled with charm. The room was enormous . The staff were really helpful. Breakfast was great, the best coffee. The Engaden card was a wonderful bonus which saved us heaps. They even filled our thermos every morning before we set out for the day. We were really sorry to leave.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hostel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Incredible views from the restaurant. Cross country skiing facilities directly outside our accommodation (and a hire shop downstairs!). A nearby village slope for learners plus alpine ski hire. Availability of skiing lessons. A nearby spa and ice rink. Excellent food most of the time and an all inclusive delicious breakfast with fantastic Swiss bread. Great heating and very clean showers. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The rooms are quite basic and the children found the room a bit dull and not as beautifully clean and comfortable as they had hoped. In reality the beds are extremely comfortable but the decor is dated. The floors get dirty quite quickly due to boots in the room. The outside corridors are kept beautifully clean. The breakfast service finishes at 9.30am which is early for British people. Nonetheless we were allowed to take a tray to the room as needed.
7.1 Good
Cons: Room was too crowded. It was smelly of people's sweat as well.
7.9 Good
Pros: I liked that it was VERY easy to get to from the train station, literally right across the street, and not too far a walk from the town if you want to talk a stroll.
Cons: Wish dinner was included in the price as well.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Some language barrier, but that was part of the fun!
Cons: The stairs!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was simply fabulous for a Youth Hostel, and we'd like to thank the YH Pontresina team for their superb offer and service. We had rooms with two twin beds (can be used as a double) plus two bunk beds. We loved that we could keep the window open at night for the cool mountain air and to hear the river and in the morning the birds. The continental breakfast buffet had lots of choices, and the dinner (CHF 17, with soup, salad buffet, regular/vegetarian main course, dessert) was not only amazingly inexpensive but very good. With advance notice, the request for a gluten-free option was readily accommodated. Water was freely available with meals, and we were allowed to bring our own bottle of wine with a small corkage fee (wine and beer are also available). The free use of regional transit including gondolas etc. (included in stays of two or more nights) was worth about as much as we paid for the stay, which is an incredible deal. The Youth Hostel is right next to the train station and bus stop, very convenient.
Cons: The number of bathrooms per floor is low, though that is difficult to change. There are wash basins in the rooms to brush your teeth etc., and the showers are separate, so this helps. Be aware that there is no elevator available for guests, hence you'll need to carry your luggage up one or two floors. This was not an issue for us but it is good to know.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location. Good value meal options
Cons: Overpriced accommodation costs
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly, clean, good athmospher
Cons: Price
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast Great location
Cons: Long hair gentleman's attitude is quite discouraging. He dealt with our check in
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. Fresh, local cheeses, breads etc all labelled plus an unlimited supply of coffee/juice/fruit etc. The management couple, Martin and Sabine, could not have been more welcoming. We soon felt part of a family and kept returning. They were very generous, allowing us to store our stuff in a locker while we went up the mountain to climb the peaks, and they did all our washing for us for a small extra fee. We loved coming 'home'. If you want to explore the area you cant beat the location, right next to trains and buses. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful, friendly staff and outstanding location
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The views were great
Cons: -The dorm rooms don’t have a lock. Key pad access to the rooms but it never locked -no WiFi in rooms -1 outlet in a dorm of 14 beds -hidden fees/charges for water ($8 a bottle!) and tea at dinner which guests were told that dinner was included. I was never told that drinks weren’t included and they offered tea/coffee after each dinner -I often felt that my requests and myself in general was ignored. I was the only non European there so there may be a language barrier aspect to that
7.9 Good
Pros: superb location with a magnificent view
Cons: dirty toilets, some without paper...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: wonderful location, original and peacefull, foods were very good, reception staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: no elevator in the building, staff of the restraunt was not very much friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is picture-perfect. A four-course dinner is included, as well as the cable car (if you stay at least 2 nights) Try the Swiss oatmeal and Ovomaltine at breakfast, typically Swiss and delicious.
Cons: The dorms were very basic, it was more like a luxurious mountain hut. The dorm only has one electrical outlet, and my adapter was too big for the small space. I could use the sockets in the restaurant, but it felt not so secure with so many people around during the day.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, very helpful staff
Cons: Lager was a little noisy, but understandable for this type of accommodation
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location!!! Loved the place and the staff in the reception was very, very helpful. Could sit for hours just watching the beautiful surroundings. Also liked the jaccuzzi with view! And the aperol drink. Will be one of my absolutly best memories from Switzerland. But next time I will choose my own room. I am too old to share room with 15 others (my own fault..)
Cons: I missed the part that sheets were not included in the price, and off course I could rent, which I did. But unfortunatly someone "stole" my sheets and was already sleeping in my bed when I came in to our sleeping room. Off course this was not the fault of the hotel, and the helpful girl in the reception gave med new ones. Also it was a beautiful experience with the jaccuzzi with view. For me the seatingarea in the jaccuzzi was just a little bit to low, so I almost drowned in the water:) This is not a complaint, because I had hurt my toes and could not do any walking, and still I had a beautiful experience up there. But it would have been even better with a lower seat so I really could have relaxed in the jaccuzzi... I also missed the very small sign in the bathroom in the guesthours, that the water was not drinkable. I saw it in the "normal" bathroom where the signs were huge. At that time I already drank around 75 cl after my jaccuzzi. But I did not get sick, just a bit worried. So pls put a big sign also in the guesthouse bathroom:)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: For a mountain hut at 3000m it was fantastic. The views were unbeatable. The room was extremely clean and the facilities were great. A wonderful stay.

Pros: Multilingual staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. Decor was attractive, spare and functional. Breakfast was included and very good. Restaurant on site was also very good. Location across the street from train station is perfect and local transport and cable cars included with hotel stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Our room had wonderful mountain views on two sides. The bed was very comfortable, with good feather quilts. Being beside the train station was convenient. The receptionist was very helpful with local information. We received vouchers for Engadine region transport.
Cons: Food and drink was very expensive. It was some distance uphill to town and local buses were few and far between. It was out of season and very little was open, including most cable cars and cog railway. The receptionist advised us Diavolezza was operating.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good 3 star hotel in a beautiful area. The restaurant was always busy because of the good food.
Cons: A few flies in dining room while eating but didn’t spoil our
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super fluffy pillows, nice and warm inside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Annette (front desk) was incredibly helpful! I had added a note with my reservation about the purpose of my trip (Sommerlauf running race) and upon check-in Annette let me know she researched their website so she could help me with any logistic questions. An unexpected, and wonderful touch! The complementary breakfast was just right and had an espresso machine self-serve which I enjoyed!
6.7 Good
Pros: Close to railway station
Cons: The male staff need a lesson in hospitality, smile it doesn’t cost anything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel situated opposite the station. Very friendly staff. Nice, cosy restaurant. Bathrobe supplied.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to the rail station. Good breakfast buffet and warm and friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for train/bus connections. We arrived by train, took the bus to the funicular to hike, & left by bus - all just feet from this lodging. The morning coffee from the espresso machine was excellent, as were the breads & jam.
Cons: Some of the wait staff were surely. Our room was too warm for good sleep our second night, but we saw no temperature controls. We'd understood that the transportation pass was free, but it was not. Still, it was extremely helpful & easy to use.
