Pros: we arrived late so there was no staff on site but they called us ahead of time to make sure we knew how to get in. the room was LOVELY - from the bed to the cookies they left us to the awesome bathroom... plus french doors that opened for a nice breeze. we didnt have time to stay for breakfast but they insisted on making us something to go - so accommodating and so worth the price!
Cons: no complaints!
Situated in Beaufort, this inn is within a 5-minute walk of St. Helena's Episcopal Church and John Mark Verdier House. Beaufort Museum and Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: We have stayed here twice this year and will go back many more times. The hotel is fantastic and surroundings are just as nice.
Pros: I have stayed at other 4 and 5 star hotels in the past but i must say that if you are to consider the room rate against the comfort of the rooms and hotel overall it was probably the best place i have ever stayed.
Cons: Nothing at all. The family loved it all and we are sure to book again on this type of villa settings on our next vacation.
Pros: Ocean views, beach proximity, inside and outside pools, locker rooms, activities, use of amenities after check out, incredibly helpful and knowledgable staff. Great place!
Pros: the Barony Beach Club exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were first class, the amenities numerous and the grounds impeccable and well groomed. Our suite had everything that we needed and more including an ocean front balcony. We'll be back!
The Barony is one of our favorite places to stay on HH. It's centrally located and we love that it's beachfront. We loved being able to rent a room for just a couple of nights instead of having to use our timeshare week. This was our first time using priceline and it was very convenient and the prices were excellent. I highly recommend the Barony and it seems to be very family friendly as well.
Pros: We've stayed at the Barony several times through Interval Int'l. Our recent visit was for a long weekend and we used priceline to book our room. The rooms are spacious and the units are very comfortable.

Pros: Close to golf, 2 min shuttle to the beach, and close to activities for young children. Adults and couples with older kids would be better off elsewhere
Cons: Secluded, once you are at the resort, you are at the resort. Access to everyday items, a lighter, groceries, etc... pretty limited. Get anything you want for the trip before you get to the resort.

Pros: The hotel staff was friendly, carrying my luggage -- even to the first floor and offering complementary turn-down supervise with warm cookies. A quaint coffee shop is nearby, and with my dialy $5 coupon from the hotel, I got a muffin, coffee, and paper for a nominal fee. The decor is updated with rain shower shower heads and a garden tub. TWO televisions as well. Great restaurants are all within walking distance.
Cons: Parking is at a premium any given time, and I had to park behind a nearby law firm. As a sole female traveler on business, comming in after dark (at 6 pm in the Fall) was not comfortable but manageable.
Pros: The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are comfortable, with great furniture and fixtures. The shower is one of the best I've ever seen. The location can't be beat. The on-site coffee shop is a great way to start the day.
Cons: Nothing. Really.
Pros: Great decor, excellent bathroom with a relaxing deep tub.

Pros: Bed was Comfortable and everything seemed pretty clean the courtyard is nice and so are stair cases and chandeliers.
Cons: Staff wasn't very Friendly. Room was outdated even for a bed and breakfast the decor was like a old lady's room. TV was very small

Guests can take a dip in one of 2 outdoor pools or visit the fitness center for a workout. An indoor pool and a lazy river are other highlights, and condos feature soaking tubs and kitchens.
Pros: Close to everything in downtown Beaufort. A little pricey, but worth it if you want a quick, walk everywhere location.
Cons: Bugs made way into our room often. Breakfast could use some flare.
Pros: Very nice room with a view of historic house just across the street. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front patio, overlooking the marina. The do-it yourself breakfast was comprehensive and the staff were helpful.
A special thank you to the Manager, who through no fault of his or BW, accommodated us when we requested a room change from our original room location. He then sent a bouquet of flowers to our room!
Thank you BW Sea Island Inn! We'll be back!
Pros: Excellent location and excellent staff. Really gives you a unique feel and experience, I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Pros: The rooms and restaurant was an amazing experience
Pros: it was clean and pretty much everything you need at one resort from food to family activities, especially walking distance to the beach my kids love it.
Cons: wishing there is a sleep sofa in the room which would be great for the kids don't want to share the bed.
Pros: Dog Friendly, although don't bother paying for an ocean view if you have a dog because you will be put on the 1st or 2nd floor and you will not be able to see the beach.
Cons: I paid for an Ocean View room but my view was at best an obstructed view of the ocean. When I complained, I was moved to another "ocean view room" but I literally could not see any water from that room. Management made no attempt to improve the situation, so I will avoid Omni Hotels from now on.
Staff (other than the front desk) are totally foreign and speak poor English; ordering food is quite frustrating.
Pros: The location of this hotel is amazing and the amenities are great with Muriel's pools onsite and restaurants.
Cons: There was remodeling occurring at the time of our stay. Some other reviews suggested that this was the same however the hotel staff insisted it would not effect our stay. They were absolutely wrong and loud construction was heard the entire 4 days so it was difficult to relax. Construction vehicles and supplies took up half of the parking lot and the construction staff took their breaks lying down in grassy patches in the lots. The restaurants on site were very overpriced which was somewhat expected.
Pros: The Omni was a great place to stay. They are doing some improvements on the property but it didn't interfere with our stay.
Pros: The resort was situated perfectly between Hilton Head Plantation and Harbor Town so it was great for the golf courses we were playing. I did not use the pool, beach, golf or tennis at Palmetto Dunes but I'm sure it is beautiful.
Cons: There was lots of room renovation construction going on
Pros: The bed was very comfy. Everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent!
Cons: Nothing, but having to leave!
Pros: Beach access was great!
Cons: The elevator was out of order for 3 of 4 nights of my stay. We stayed on the second floor so we were OK; however, I'm sure those staying on the 4th and 5th floors were not so happy.
Pros: Loved the easy access to beach, freindly staff, great location. Very relaxing. Food in restaurants was good.
Cons: Didn't like that chairs on the beach had to be rented and were not provided by the hotel. At other beach resorts I have had free beach chairs with umbrellas or cabanas and even waiters that brought drinks to the beach for you.
Location. This Hilton Head Island resort borders white-sand beaches on the southern coast of South Carolina and is located near the Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Dunes and the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy.

All guestrooms offer kitchenettes with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include double sinks and bathrobes. Guestrooms are accessible via exterior corridors. All rooms at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort are non-smoking.
Pros: The facilities had numerous things to do and a great pool. Very nice amenities with up to date appliances
Cons: During the last day, we caught a single german cockroach racing across the bedroom floor. Management was thankful for the information.
A great choice for a stay in Hilton Head Island, Island Links Resort is just 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from the airport. After splashing around at the 2 outdoor pools, you can unwind with a drink at the pool bar. A fitness center and an outdoor tennis court are other highlights, and condos feature jetted tubs and kitchens.
Pros: Room was good and clean, on par with the Marriott properties (Courtyard, Fairfield, Springhill, etc) we normally stay at. We didn't make much use of the resort amenities, but the grounds were well-kept.
Pros: Well decorated.
Cons: Cleaning staff was consistently disappointing. Once they took our towels and forgot to give us any new towels and once the room looked barely touched. Everyday they were bad about coming before 8 am and coming back during the four hour Windows we provided.
Pros: The resort is in the Shipyard Community (gated with security and includes golf courses and the Van Der Meer Tennis Center) and has direct beach access. The rooms were newly renovated and the grounds were immaculate. The staff was top-notch--very helpful and professional from the check-in clerks to the cleaning staff.
Cons: We were surprised when our parking lot view room was actually a view of the roof of part of the resort. Not a huge problem, but still...
Also, the beach entrance for the resort is connected to the beach club access for the larger Shipyard communnity. This was only a problem because the beach area just outside the resort tended to be quite crowded. However, everyone was nice and we had a great time.
Pros: The rooms were very modern, friendly front desk, large variety of food at buffet. All you can eat, with band duo.
Cons: The Easter buffet check was a surprise, did not get a price or menu beforehand. Check was $115.00 buffet dinner for two, +$15.00 tip for great service, and we did not order extra items. Total for Sonesta Seacrest Easter Buffett for two was $130.00!!! Wow!! Will return, but call for price of buffet first ;)
Pros: Very clean and well kept. We had standard king bed without ocean view. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Didn't use restaurants but exercise room was nicely equipped and modern.
Pros: Everything was nice.
Pros: Everything about our stay was flawless with the exception of internet access and WIFI. Both were very sporadic and not always available. We love the location, grounds are beautiful, staff was great and our room and entire resort were very clean. Love staying here!
Pros: Perfect Spring Break! We stayed at Sonesta for three nights in early March and had a relaxing respite from the stresses of work, and for our 14 year old son, schoolwork. Beautiful lobby, with lots of seating. We brought some games and puzzles, and there was plenty of space to play. The pool areas were beautiful, and the jacuzzi was steaming hot. Our room was lovely, too. Nice fluffy bed and tidy bathroom. Great beach area. A private event was going on in a covered, outdoor dining area, and it looked so neat to be oceanside and have a party. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at Sonesta again.
Pros: Hotel grounds were beautiful. Pools were nice. Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and modern. One feature we really loved - tiny floor lights that kicked on when you stepped off the bed. Only activated at night, they allowed you just enough light to see your way to the bathroom without knocking into things.
Cons: Not a problem exclusive to Sonesta, but by 10:30am all the pool chairs were "reserved", and you couldn't find a seat let alone a couple chairs together. Guests reserving multiple chairs early in the am and then leaving their "towels" on those chairs all day long preventing their use by others is a problem systemic to this industry and really needs to be addressed.
Pros: The resort's pool and beach were excellent. We had no problem getting chairs at the pool, and the beach was lovely.
Cons: At high tide, the beach gets really crowded because it shrinks so much. The Sonesta is pet friendly as is the beach. In the late afternoon, there are a lot of dogs on the beach.
The Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island understands the fine art of balancing work and play. New features at the resort include a shaded pool and hot tub, a zero-entry heated lagoon swimming pool and children

Pros: Jasmine was great. She notice it was our Anniversary and she gave us a wonderful card. Everyone was very nice smiled at us. The grounds outside was beautiful. The workout facility had everything you would need. The shower was heaven. I would remind people to come.
Cons: It was not that clean. Stains everywhere. In our room our bathroom wall paper wasn't finish. It was an smell in the hallway. No vending machines for snacks. The food was expensive. A can coke was $5. 16 wings and 2 drinks was $60.
Pros: Location on beautiful beach
Beautiful grounds and pool complex
Under ground and above ground parking-free
Location on Hilton Head Island
Repeat visitors to Westin
Pros: View and staff .
Cons: The restaurants are overpriced!!!construction workers started at 7 AM very loud for a light sleeper.I understand the importance of starting early and beating the heat. However those rooms should be discounted.Nothing like opening up your window to see workers on the roof and hearing saws on your vacation.I must say the area that they are working on will have wonderful view...lol
Pros: Tychelle at Guest Services was excellent. The room, in particular, the bath was excellent. Several excellent quality, local eating places within 1.5 miles of the hotel on Mathews Dr. @ the Bi-Lo shopping center. Plantation Cafe has excellent breakfast & Fiesta Fresh Mexican Grill is excellent low priced Mexican food. There is also Italian Restaurant and an Irish pub. All have excellent Yelp reviews.
Cons: Appears staff was weary, not very customer focused. Seems they are pushed very hard to upsell the resort/beach view rooms. Very limited/nonexistent guest activities during off season and with construction underway - noisy. Not a good value for $22/day resort fee. Threadbare pool towels, hot tub not clean. No bar service at pool/activities area.
Pros: Ocean front .
Pros: Beautiful location, modern clean rooms, very nice pool area, very friendly and professional staff.,
Cons: That I did not stay long enough
Pros: Extremely clean + well appointed rooms and beautiful beach. Pools were excellent and the hotel had a luxurious feel to it. Staff was friendly and helped when asked.
Cons: When I checked in, they asked when I would check out. I told them I would check out at the latest time which they said was 12PM. They DEACTIVATED our room keys by 10AM. We had to wait for 15 minutes (wet from pool + beach) for someone to come to let us into our room. The women who came acted like this situation is normal. (Never happened to me at any hotel I stayed out.) You shouldn't ask for check out time if your not going to keep my keys active until I actually check out.
When we got to our first room and attempted to turn on the shower, sewage came out from the tub. It was disgusting but we were immediately given another upgraded room and everything was fine.
Pros: location, atmosphere, staff, hotel condition, location
Cons: messy, too many rules, poor hours of operations,
Pros: Pool facilities are great, the lay-out of the resort good, good amount of shade around pool good waiters to come to your chair. The resort location in Port Royal was good close to good golf courses. Check in was easy and check-out a breeze! Staff were friendly and helpful!
Cons: no negative items
Pros: The Westin is a very nice, Vegas style resort hotel.
Cons: I would have liked to have seen the areas around the pool decks kept a little more ship shape. There were lots of leaves on the seating and decks. It seemed like they were on their off season staffing levels, so not all tasks were being attended to immediately. If I had paid full price to stay, I would have been disappointed.
Pros: Beautiful location on Hilton Head Island, with great beach and pools, whirlpool. The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, rooms were very clean and quiet. The staff was awesome...classy place!
The Westin Hilton Head Island is beautifully situated amid lush gardens along a stretch of sandy-white beaches. Unwind and renew as you admire the island’s natural surroundings from your private balcony. Each guest room or suite features the Heavenly® Bed, the Heavenly® Bath, a mini-fridge, High Speed Internet Access, a flat screen TV, and stylish coastal décor.
Pros: I loved the location and the outdoor amenities. The food and drinks were very nice and I appreciated the complementary towels.
Cons: I didn't like the amount of times the staff called me on the phone. I didn't like that they charged me in the middle of my stay instead of the end. I also didn't like the bed or bedding and I wished the room had a microwave.
Pros: I loved the ocean view from my room.
Cons: The TV guide for the different channels was sticky. The bathroom needed an exhaust fan.
Pros: I really cannot say enough about everything I enjoyed at this hotel. Location, view, friendly and helpful staff and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on are only a few highlights of my favorite parts of my stay. We also ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was wonderful as was the waitstaff. I can't wait to plan a trip to come back.
Cons: Due to an emergency we did not get to stay after checking in. We received a call that because of a forest fire threatening our home we didn't get to stay I think a refund of at least 3nights should be in order but that won't happen. I will warn everyone I know to avoid using this agency for bookings.
Cons: Workmen started working at 7:30 am in the room next to us. It was very disturbing. Nothing was done even after I called the front desk.
Pros: I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to HHI for Valentines Day and Marriott did not disappoint. The rooms are recently remodeled so everything was clean and new. We enjoyed working out in the fitness room before going out to dinner each night. Although it was too cold to swim, we enjoyed the views of the ocean from the pool deck. The staff was friendly and professional the entire time, wishing us a happy Valentines Day with a smile on multiple occasions. I recommend highly- great value for the level of service and amenities.

Cons: Breakfast staff was inadequate and understaffed on Friday (graduation day from USMC MCRD. Every Friday occurrence.)
Pros: The hotel was no great shakes.
Cons: Could not change the shower head for a different setting. Heating/cooling system was sketchy. Had to go thru all channels to change stations on tv, could not input directly. Breakfast was just average.
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. Location was wonderful and the staff were great.
Cons: Our bed was horrible. It was suppose to have a comfort select dial. Either the dials didn't work or the bed was worn our or broken. Did not sleep much at all, either of us.
Pros: Very nice place. This is our second stay and will repeat if the opportunity presents.
Cons: The cookies at reception were stale and hard as rocks.
Pros: Clean comfortable bed
Excellent breakfast bar
Cons: No complaints
Pros: The town of Beaufort was wonderful and the hotel was a deal compared to others.
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Hotel needs some updating.
Pros: The staff was excellent Kristi, Curtis, Donna, and Lindsey were the best.
The location is good . The facility is bright. Easy to access.

Pros: The location was great! Only minutes from downtown. The view of the marsh was nice. Kids eat free for breakfast and dinner, although we did not eat at restaurant it was a nice promotion. Nice channel list for kids.
Cons: 1. We did not have a shower cutain at all in the bathroom.
2. The staff was just so so. We were rarely greeted when entering and rarely recieved a good bye when we left. I don't want to sound picky, but I didn't ever feel like we were a valued guest.
3. The bathroom was filthy! Hair berets found on the floor and the sink(was it not wiped down?). Mold in the shower and residue/hair all over the towel rack. And again, we did NOT have a shower curtain, so water went EVERYWHERE! They also had a tile floor, so we then had to use all of our towels to prevent from slipping.
4. Pool was way too hot. I would guess it was 85 degrees and it was 99 degrees outside in July, so it was not refreshing at all.
5. There was only 1 elevator working which meant long waits.
6. The door to the fitness facility would not open, so I am not sure how to rate it?
7. Not a good experience, unfortunately.
Pros: Stayed for 3 days to get our Marine. Enjoyed. Very friendly.
Pros: Restaurant has reasonable prices, nice little bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Funny bar tender! This was our second time staying at this hotel for Marine graduation. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros: Great Value, clean, comfortable, great staff. Overall great experience.
Pros: Room appeared to be clean.
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable, made noise when you turned over. Also, room was very stuffy, ac get cycling off and on every few minutes and you could not regulate the temp

Pros: Have stayed at this facility many times over the years and have found it to be quite nice and reasonably priced.
Pros: Staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet.
Cons: Street view, only one bed was made hen room service came. Not enough parking. Room smelled like smoke.
Cons: Noisy air conditioner. Not on Hilton Head. Tried to cancel the second Nite but was told they couldn't do anything about it even though the website stated "easy cancellation". I was told to contact Expedia. When we tried to get our room moved because of the noisy Ac the front desk was at first very unaccommodating.
Pros: value, very clean
Cons: Air condition system was VERY loud
Pros: The hotel was centrally located. Very close to outlet shopping but a bit of a drive to the beach. From our room we had a view of the intercoastal waterway. Very beautiful. Hotel was very quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Not a whole lot I didn't like I would defintely stay here again if I was not planning on going to the beach. We were in town for shopping and golf.

Pros: Breakfast was good, Staff very friendly & helpful. Did not get in your way to replenish the supplies.
Room was clean.
Cons: We were put in an ADA room and the front desk clerk told us that since they were fully booked we had NO CHOICE but to take the room. We acquiesced, and put up with the ADA room for 3 nights.
Having stayed at Hamptons' every time we travel, this was the first time to have stayed in an ADA room.
The bed was very soft and caved in the middle.
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast had great variety and well stocked.
Cons: The fitness center did not have much equipment, however what was there did work.
Pros: Cleanliness, quietness and location
Cons: No dislikes
Pros: We had no problems during our stay, everything was as expected. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Hot breakfast was very good with plenty of variety and the staff did a great job keeping it full.
Cons: If i had one complaint it would be the pillows. Nobody in the family really liked the pillows. Just not comfortable, but the comfortable bed made up for it.
Pros: Staff was very personable. Breakfast was amazing. Easy to find. We were totally satisfied and will return.
Cons: A table in the room would have been nice.
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, & excellent service. Young man named Ray did an outstanding job setting up breakfast & maintaining it.
Cons: A little pricy

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After reading several reviews, I was concerned about the condition of the rooms and cleanliness, however we found the room to be in very clean and in very good shape, as well as the grounds.
Cons: If I were to complain, it would be because the lobby/office is not in the same building as the rooms, however they offer a shuttle to take you back and forth, and it is not that much of a walk and the scenery is very nice, so I can't complain.
Pros: It's within walking distance to everything
Cons: The air conditioner didn't get cold. Was warm all night
Cons: Breakfast is in a separate building
Pros: The staff were very accommodating and courteous !! Just outstanding . I loved the pool location and the comfortable seating areas.
Pros: Convenient location Free shuttle
Cons: Balcony was small
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: The noise and the room was too crowded with furniture.
Pros: Lovely location; good, friendly staff
Cons: waffles are way better than pancakes!
Pros: Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was exactly what we expected. It was clean and very staff friendly. The breakfast every day was fantastic.
Pros: Cleanliness and breakfast area.
Cons: Doors to rooms were really loud when closing.
Pros: Included breakfast
Cons: The accomodations are in a separate building from reception desk. It was extremely difficult to find at night. There are not many signs and they are extremely unclear. When I called the hotel, the receptionist was a little impatient and rude.
Pros: Great location. It is within walking distance to everything.
Cons: There was not a lot of available parking when we arrived. Several guest were parked in the trees and bushes. Need more parking area.
Pros: Clean hotel, good breakfast, very nice swimming pool area.
Cons: Door to room would not close, had to be slammed a few times each time. Doors on all rooms have sliding doors to balconies and you can hear adjacent rooms when they roll this door open and closed - a low rumbling followed by a clunk.
