A tasteful marriage of art and culture. Wrapped in an atmosphere of incessant activity, the hotel is located on the outskirts of the historical-cultural area of Boavista. Close to the hotel are prestigious art galleries such as Minimal or Trinidade. Its spacious rooms decorated with artistic elements delight guests, transporting them into deep sleep. Impregnated with art to the utmost degree, the Eurostars Das Artes building gives off warmth, glows with beauty and distils an indefinable enchantment swamped with the inevitable saudade. Set in a building of classical style and character, the hotel is located on the main cultural avenue of the city of Oporto, in the well known 's t'. Notice: the triple room is a double one with extra bed.
The room was spacious and modern. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were helpful and seemed to know their job well. The bathroom was splendid.
I can't say that it's 5 stars hotel. It's pretty old and not so luxury and interesting, as it writen on websites.
Rooms are prety old.
We liked the hotel situation as well as the quiet room and very nice breakfast
The hotel staff was beyond pleasant and willing to make our stay wonderful. Acknowledging that it was a special occasion (my husband's 60th birthday), they upgraded us to the largest room and then surprised us with a bottle of champagne and bowls of fruit. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, with wonderful linens. The room was clean and large, bright and had a beautiful marble bathroom. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet tremendously. There was a computer available for free use by guests off the bar area, which was great. Lastly, the location was perfect - we could walk everywhere and yet were not in a noisy or busy area.
Comfortable and clean hotel with great breakfast and friendly staff.
Perhaps a bit too far away from the centre
located very close to the center of Porto (within walking distance for all sights)
price of breakfast is (if you compare it to the room rate) to high
Nice and clean rooms
Located in a small street and it is difficult to find first. However, this seems to be the only choice if you would like to stay at the historical center of the city since all the streets are the same.
Situated in nice quiet part of the city, nice relaxed atmosphere in hotel, staff very helpful, efficent, and professional.
Very friendly and helpful staff who were great with tips on best places to dine out, go out and what there is to do in Porto. It was great location i.e. close to galleries and an overall well presented hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean and had all the necessary facilities.
The Hotel was, clean, modern and functional with professional and nice staff.
The heat system didn't work properly and i got cold at night. There were no extra blankets at the room. The room (supposingly a junior suite) was nothing like a suite: the furniture disposition was terrible with the TV set at the right side of the bed on a regular room desk and just one huge sofa in front of the bed... Finally, the room service is not avaiable in a major part of the day.
