Pros: The hot tub. The grounds. The simplicity. The location. The dwelling. The restaurant food was delicious. We saw seals when we kayaked.
Cons: Fuses in #7 trip when using a blow dryer. Ants one day. All minor things listed. Overall awesome experience.

Pros: Hot tub, fire place, hammock, stream, cozy bed, nature walk.... I had a wonderful trip feel like to come again.
Pros: The bed was so comfy The kyaks were fun
Cons: We wished there were screens on the windows
Pros: Cool little cabin! The bar and restaurant were great for sitting outside while enjoying a drink. We also enjoyed our private hot tub. Walking distance to about everything in town. Would definitely recommend!
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable
Pros: its just a nice place to stay and relax
Pros: Super cute and well maintained!
Cons: Nothing on site is open on Monday and Tuesday.
Pros: Nice location across from the shore of the Hood Canal. Nestled in a lovely wooded area
Cons: A little old-fashioned and worn but with a funky charm
Pros: it was totally cool and worth the price . Super clean as well

Cons: Restaurant not open for breakfast.
When you stay at Waterfront at Potlatch in Shelton, you'll be 13 minutes by foot from Potlatch State Park. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: It's located on Hood Canal.
Cons: The room was dirty and old. Although located on Hood Canal and advertised as waterfront room, the view of the water is marred by the rvs parked between the room and the water in the motel's rv park. Plush sofa but uncomfortable and dirty. Place has not been painted in years. Right outside the entrance to our room, someone had, long ago, kicked a hole in the half wall that serves as a railing and the hotel remains, unrepaired. No room service is provided. We were there three nights and the coffee capsules were never replenished.
Pros: It was clean and quiet
Cons: No a/c had a kitchen but no dishes or silverware the remote for the television didn’t work. The coffee pot didn’t work. For the money it was severely lacking
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: It was dirty - I found a fake eyelash on the coffee table, the traffic on the highway was loud, and there was no AC. It got really hot during the day and stayed that way all night. Too expensive for what it was.
Pros: I liked that it was clean and nicely decorated. The view of the water was very nice.
Cons: The room had a very unpleasant smell. I hope they will put a plug in room freshener or something in there to mask that musty smell.
Pros: Comfortable bed and water view.
Cons: Strange smell, road noise and bath tub didn’t drain well.... Incidental deposit of $100 and didn’t refund four days ( still counting).
Pros: Big comfortable room with a nice view, great balcony to sit and watch the water. We have stayed here before and it has always been a great experience.
Cons: More coffee in the room.
Pros: Fire pit
Cons: RV parked in front of room
Pros: Location was nice.
Pros: Clean, comfy bed, very friendly staff
Cons: Our view of the lake included all the RVs that park right next to the lake
Pros: The view from the balcony.
Cons: We stayed in one of the 6 motel rooms. The room was not particularly clean. The light was broken, the sofa bed had springs missing and when I asked for more blankets I was told there were none left as the venue was full. Firstly, there was no one in the room next door and secondly, I saw a room full of linen which would have helped. The room was not serviced and when I asked for towels, I was met with annoyance. Now I always write reviews based on the price I pay and what I would expect for the money. This motel room does not compare favourably to other motels of the same class I have stayed in. The Waterfront itself is lovely but you back on to a very busy (and loud) road. There are many better options in Hoodsport. Look somewhere else first.
