Pros: The hotel is truly excellent! It's very comfortable, clean, and right in the centre of the town. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and the food in the restaurant is really good. It's a bit more expensive than the other hotels in the area, but it's definitely worth it.
Pros: Very good spacious room. Bathroom with bathtub. Very clean. The location is very good. It is a good starting point for sightseeing the area. Lots of historical and natural landmarks.
Cons: Children room is closed. It only opens on request with an animator. As our child is still young we would of liked to be able to play there with her. Breakfast could be better.
Pros: Location and the sense of being in a brand new facility
Cons: the breakfast was served in the cafe not in the spacious restaurant
Pros: Very good location and perfect interior with beautiful large room!
Pros: Excellent restaurant with good service.
Pros: The hotel location was perfect. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
When you stay at RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort in Pravets, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 5-minute drive of Pravets Sports Complex and Pravets Golf Club. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room is very clean, the staff are very nice. The view is amazing!
Cons: The food at lunch and dinner, wasn't too good. There was no verity of meat portions, I ended up eating some pasta and bread with butter. Other than that, everything was fine.
Pros: the SPA and the lake view were spectacular.
Cons: Had two twin beds put together to make one double bed and sleeping in the middle while turning at night was painful. Certainly would have been a more comfortable sleep with one large bed and one mattress.
Pros: The hotel exterior sun-terraces and garden and grounds were beautifully maintained and landscaped. Spa facilities and staff were amazing also. Great selection of food and drinks.
Cons: Lots of lovely drinks available but would also liked to have jugs of ice water provided with meals.
Pros: There was only one think that I did not dislike in this hotel. It was the lady in charge of our check in. She was helpful and very polite. The swimming pool was also good and at a very nice temperature.
Cons: After travelling nearly 22 countries and 40 cities. I can say that this was the worst hotel we have stayed in. Not sure where to start. The facilities are old, it does not correspond to a 4 star hotel. Regarding the price, for 93EUR a night I expected more. I have been in other RIU hotels and this one has nothing to do with what this amazing chain represents. Furthermore, besides the staff at the reception no one speaks English in this hotel what makes your life very difficult as you need to communicate with people in order to get what you need. We had dinner included on our reservation and at the restaurant place the waiters and waitresses did not speak a word of English. Meaning that you are asking something and they answer to you in Bulgarian and disappear or they just shrug their shoulders. We had only water to drink and they force you to pay immediately not even asking if you wish to have it on your rooms bill. They just billed it and put the receipt on our table. They take the plates without asking, totally disrespecting people’s dinner. Regarding the bedroom, stains on the pillows, torn curtains, and spots in the carpet and not even to mention the ceiling of the toilet full of humidity spots. About the Spa facilities, this hotel only has a SPA on its name because everything but a very little sauna was working during our stay. Even though the swimming pool was nice, the chairs where you could seat and relax were dirty and full of spider webs. It is mandatory to have a cap to swim at the pool but in order to have it each one costs 6 lv and at this hotel store they only accept card or cash, meaning that we went there with no wallets so we could not buy. We had to go all the way back to get money so we could buy them as they do not allow to bill it in the room. There was trash on the outside area, plastic bags on the floor, coffee cups, and dirty dishes. During 6 hours no one came to take them nor clean it. We decided to leave this hotel at 9pm on the same day
Pros: Honestly, yes the fresh air is nice and the lake!
Cons: We have made a reservation for the room with the lake view and when we came they gave us a room on the first floor with the view to the wall literally! Spoke to reception, very rude lady said we are occupied no other rooms available, then had to go to argument, then they offered room for handicap people, which was totally unacceptable and after that they managed to put us on the second floor with some partial lake view! If you ask me never ever again I will return to this place, especially for the price they are asking for the 4 star hotel, not even close to be 4 star hotel, half of the things in the spa are not working... in the photo attached the lake view room on the first floor
Pros: Indoor pool large and low on chlorine
Cons: You have to pay for the outdoor pool, andno way to put it on your room bill. Cash only
Cons: Cheating with the restaurant bill, insufficient parking spots, indifferent staff, diving allowed in the swimming pool
Pros: Everything is great, the food is simply amazing. I've been to other 4* hotels and not one can compare to Riu, at least in regards of the food.
Cons: Maybe more umbrellas would be useful.
Pros: Everything was excelent

Pros: Location and food
Cons: Small shower.
Pros: Very polite and helpful staff, good dinner and breakfast, poni riding in the yard
Pros: the staff was very friendly and kind
Cons: The room was noisy during the night - i think the strange noise was coming from the ventilation shaft
Pros: I was surprised by the huge size of the room and the high comfort we had in it. The bathroom was like new. The whole location with the horse farm was great. My little boy had a lot of fun, he could ride a pony there. The food in the restaurant was great, they had a big choice from the menu
Pros: Place is beautiflul, amazing views with horses, comfortable king size bed. Very friendly and welcoming owner, free parking.
Cons: Cold room, we tryied to swich on heater but it didnt work, in breakfast one warm sandwich, which was ok for me but not enough for my husband.
Pros: Everything was great! Clean, staff friendly. The horses and the staff were fabulous!
Cons: We heard the guests in the next room.
Pros: Good place for a weekend in Etrople
Pros: Very clean rooms, minibar, every day cleaning. beautiful views and very beautiful horses. Breakfast was basic (omelet / toast /coffee/ tea) and we manage to miss every day the lunch , which was considered the highlights of the day :D For dinner is just an average Bulgarian restaurant but even so, the tarator was better than average. The staff very polite and helpful. You can pay by card. The village is 5 min by car, nice and small. A lot of green all over the place. Monastery is nice and the walk to waterfall is an easy stroll.
Pros: The host was very friendly and let us in at 4am in the morning due to a very unexpectedly long drive. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were extremely good value for what they were. AC in the rooms helps a lot especially in summer-so overall very nice stay!
Pros: Very polite staff (especially the waiter in the restaurant), great dinner, good poni riding, close to airport. Also, the property didn't charge us a penalty for changing our stay from 2 to 1 nights at the last moment! Nice experience overall!
Cons: No lift, a bit difficult to go to 3rd floor
Located in Etropole, Complex Oazis features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, private beach area, and free WiFi. There is a restaurant. The rooms in the guest house are equipped with a flat-screen TV. All units include a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. A continental breakfast is available daily at Complex Oazis. The nearest airport is Sofia Airport, 79 km from the accommodation.
Pros: The resort is good, with central location. The rooms were big enough with comfortable bed. The staff was very kind. The food in the restaurant was good. The wi-fi is OK. There was a small pool and jakuzzi in a beautiful garden. Nice eco path in the region with a watefall and Etropolian Monestry.
Cons: There was a market place in front of the hotel on Sunday and it was noisy in the rooms facing the street. But it was nice stay overall.
Pros: Room was quiet and warm. Good location
Cons: Communication lacking. Booked breakfast but no-one seemed aware that I had. I had an 'Engish Breakfast' which was actually a Bulgarian breakfast - cheese, cold boiled egg, ham, cucumber etc. I have lived in BG for a few years so amused rather than disappointed! Still Oasiz you should change that description!!
Pros: Cracking room ,very comfortable, really nice. Very good night's sleep was had.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, but it was an added xtra.
Pros: We just love this place! The room was so nice and very clean with an awesome bed. Possible late check-in (that was important for us). Nice friendly staff!
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find the place because our nav led us to the other street for some reason.
Pros: The room smelt of detergent.
Cons: Location, food was good.
Pros: The hotel is actually quite good, with a bar/restaurant/function hall, and that was the problem as it was a Friday night and there was a 50th birthday celebration in progress. We were offered a table in a balcony area, and were served generous portions of what we ordered.
Cons: When we arrived we were told that the double room we had booked was directly above their function hall area and a birthday party was booked, so we were offered a twin room in a separate building, which was OK. I offered to pay the room when we left the restaurant, but was told it would be OK in the morning. At 08.00 in morning I went to main building to pay for room, and everywhere was locked! no bell! So after trying to wake someone for about 15 minutes we left as we had a tight travel schedule. I called them later in day to pay by visa, but was told that would not be possible, so had to do bank transfer! WHY did they not take payment the night before???
Pros: Clean, tiny, cosy room
Cons: There was a party when we arrived,so that very noisy, we thaught there we will be a pool we didn't seen it, and the owner talk to us just about, when we give her the payment

Pros: The food was wonderful.
Cons: Very basic rooms, old sytle service qualtiy, especially of the boss.
Pros: Small hotel well located with always available staff, clean, with very good breakfast.
Cons: Everything was ok because even the communication in english was limited I had everything I needed
Pros: Most probably the best hotel in the neighborhood but no hot water and poor breackfast.
Pros: Big room with balcony and nice view. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The room smells of cigarettes.
Pros: Straightforward, simple and clean. Excellent quality for the price. Retaurant serves OK food (has an english menu available) and fills up with locals almost every evening. Fun! When ordering a taxi, it arrives within 5 minutes (consistent across 3 occasions in past 2 years that I stayed here).
Cons: Hotel can only provide a bill in Cyrillic (Bulgarian). Friendly staff-member will explain it and it is not a problem for me but it may be a problem for other foreigners, if Hotel Balkan wants to attract them (2 international companies right next door to the Hotel).
Pros: the rooms are quite cleen the bed is large and cosy.
Cons: open bathroom with no cortin on the shower. Nobody speak english, only in the morning a found a guy at the reception very friendly and good speaker. The area around hotel is strange. The lights in the hotel are poor and again strange
Pros: Very friendly and kind host as well as his staff; spotless rooms and bathrooms
Pros: Staff very welcoming, room was clean, We had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was delicious very good value for money, comfortable beds.
Cons: The bathroom is a wet room so water all over the floor when you have a shower which was very slippery would prefer a shower cubicle, The room was dark as the decoration was dark colours
Pros: Good price for a room close to the center of town. Also a nice breakfast.

Pros: Very large room and large comfortable bed. Restaurant staff were super friendly and attentive.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in room would have been appreciated.
Pros: The chef Mitko was very kind and cooked us a wonderful dinner. Furthermore the waiter was very polite and spoke in good English to us.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable
Pros: Unfortunately we were the ONLY guests as the place was empty. the menu was limited as was the beer as we drank all the had. Breakfast was basic and wanted extra for English Tea rather than the flavored they gave us. Internet was poor but the rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice place but needs to be busier and better service as again it is a winery but we could not buy a bottle of wine????

Pros: We booked the place to spend 3 days with family ( 9 adults and 2 kids) in a quiet village so we can enjoy each others company and spend some quality time together. AND WE DID! I believe I have been using this website for every single trip since 2010 and this is my first time to give review score of 10 to anyone. Place was perfect. From every possible angle of review. Clean, cozy, amazingly designed and spaces. Everything inside is brand new and well thought of. Even before arrival the host was extremely informative and during the whole stay hardly tried to assist in every possible way. The house itself its huge, it has great fireplace and heating facilities, BBQ and nice sitting place for outside. Kitchen is fully equipped. Living room is huge and as we were 9 adults and 2 kids there was still space for everyone to sit on the sofa and play some board games (there are plenty available from the owner). The village is small and quiet and for my surprise the road to it (given the fact that is in Bulgaria) was very good and it took less than 1 hour to reach from Sofia Airport. I would definitely recommend this place. I would never look for another place of this type if I go back to this kind of trip and just come back here!
Cons: Nothing at all. Everything was well organized well well thought of. Nothing was missing and I cannot see any possible reason why anybody would ever complain about the facilities.
Located in Cherni Vit, Guesthouse Dyskot features a garden and terrace. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a children's playground. Each room includes a balcony. At the guest house, each room is fitted with a patio. At Guesthouse Dyskot each room is equipped with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Cycling is among the activities that guests can enjoy near the accommodation. Ribarica is 28 km from Guesthouse Dyskot. The nearest airport is Sofia Airport, 112 km from the guest house.
Cons: No heating at the rooms, very cold. No restaurant for breakfast.
Cons: The obvious smell of people smoking inside the room was very annoying but since the receptionist did not understand english I did not adress it.
Pros: Clean place, very good location in the center of the city, near everything you'll need for your stay.
Cons: The pillow was very small and uncomfortable, and there wasn't any spares.
Cons: Old, not too new
Pros: The room was warm.
Cons: Carpet & sofa filthy and had cigarette burns. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Electric sockets hanging off the wall. Curtain lining was rotten and peeling off. Bottom of bathroom door frame rotten, front door to room had been broken into and not repaired, bathroom mirror cracked, paint flaking off of bathroom door, toilet bowl disgusting & stained. The whole place was a terrible dump not worth 1 star rating never mind 3 stars! We took photos to prove how terrible the place is. Restaurant was shut & no food available. Allpaths leading to the hotel were uncleared from snow and very dangerous, like a skateing rink. This no reflection on the staff who tried the best to make us welcome.
Pros: Nice lady at reception
Cons: False description on booking web site. Restaurant is not always available. Noise events are organized in the hotel
Pros: Nice location hotel looks great.
Cons: Well air conditioning would be a huge advantage in the summer or winter, fortunately we were mid season so air temp at 22/10 was all good.
Pros: Pleasant considering the location and the pleasant city
Cons: Staff are not familiar with the booking procedure
