6.0 Good
Pros: The facilities appear to be quite nice & the check in process was quick & easy.
Cons: Our room wasn’t very clean (albeit we stayed in a pet room), and the communal kitchen didn’t feel very clean. There was a smell in the stairwell, likely due to the old carpet everywhere in the building.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice private room and full facilities in the communal kitchen. Family home space and all new furnishings. Washing machine in this area too.
Cons: Access was a little dodgy at 02:30 and outside lights inadequate for this.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The lobby wreaked like fish or sea food, room was not very clean and very dated. Could hear everything going on all night long.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Two bedroom apartment was perfect for two couples. Convenient location just above town. Cooking facilities were great

Cons: No rain but that isn't something you can fix.

7.5 Good
Pros: choices...and service was great
Cons: fell out of bed because mattress was bigger than box spring. Loud street in front of room.
7.9 Good
Pros: First return to stay after 20+ years and was pleasantly surprised. Furnishings in room were new. Bed is a bit high on frame to get into for me (5ft 3 inch) but once in it is comfy. Front desk staff were great. Breakfast was great, your choice of 2 eggs + meat; pancakes; or oatmeal etc. cooked fresh at actual restaurant. If you want to buy a bigger breakfast, this restaurant has best Eggs Benny in Rupert. I will stay here again. Not the nicest hotel, but great for 2 star in PR.
Cons: Bathtub/shower slippery. The anti-slip stuff on tub is worn out. Installation of bar to hang on to would be good. There is space for vertical bar between toilet and tub. Also not much room in bathroom, hard to close door for a larger person. Front desk said there are rooms that have safety bars for guests if needed, ask for it when booking. Might be safer to put in every room now unless tubs are resurfaced.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Though it is not new still you can say that it is well maintained, the surroundings was clean
Cons: One of the receptionist when i first got here was not friendly and i felt uncomfortable talking to him. Not even smiling.

Cons: Very old and dated.. clean but worn looking.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast included and in a restaurant. Location in downtown area.
Cons: Plastic and styrofoam cups instead of glass and china. Mismatched furniture in room. No bathroom fan that would operate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location...iconic with giant wall murals.
Cons: Very mediocre restaurant

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is good and it’s great value for money. We walked everywhere, and found the mall next door very handy. Our departure was late in the day and well after dark, and the staff allowed us to while away a couple of hours in their comfortable and warm sitting area with lovely views.

Pros: Friendly staff, nice ocean view
Cons: Comfortable stay, room by the parking lot was noisy in the morning
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Was comfy and friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: It was fine. Breakfast was really great. Heater in the room was very noisy and the bathroom and tv remote was not very clean. The room was nice but looked as though they covered over things instead of rebuilding. Expensive room for the location and amenities off-season. When checking in, I asked about getting down to the ocean and beach access and the person told me to wander on the docks - not helpful. When checking out the gentleman was very friendly and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Right downtown close to mall and a drive in right next door. Easy check in and check out very friendly staff.
Cons: Small parking area. Very cramped

Pros: Bed was comfortable, Andrea was nice, breakfast was good, room was big
Cons: I needed to get some sleep during the day for work. I would work all night and into the morning. To have some dark curtains to stop the light from coming in would be nice. Also the tap water was really yellow. Having a bath in it wasn’t the best, but those are minor issues

The B&B has beautiful private and comfortable rooms with a unique flair as does the rest of the house. If you get the chance to go and explore Rupert this is definitely the place to stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the location and cost. The owner was very polite. Unfortunately due to our schedule we were not able to enjoy the whole bed and breakfast. We were given our privacy the whole stay and offered breakfast every morning. Will definitely recommend to others coming this way.
Cons: The second evening there were other occupants who were quite loud going up and down the stairs. There are set quiet times and that was clearly ignored. Other than that our stay was great.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, privacy,
Cons: Stairway to breakfast but thats just me I have arthritis.not the property.
5.4 Okay
Pros: I liked our private bathroom.
Cons: They had a lot of assumptions about us before actually asking us. I believe they thought we smoked inside the room, which then charged $50. They also charged my 4 year old $20/night to stay with us, and made him feel highly uncomfortable. You don’t deal with homeowners directly, rather you deal with someone who works for them who I found difficult. She was mainly the one who was rude, the homeowners were nice but not understanding. However they were open to communication which made things easier. The price in this was much different than what we had to pay, there was lots of rules not listed in this either, and our jacuzzi wasn’t allowed to be used after a certain time, which made it to be pointless to have, unfortunately. Overall I give this a 3/10. The water was very brown so we used our own water to brush. All other B&B’s have been very understanding and easy-going, with this one being uncomfortable in stay and in interaction.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Self serve was great. Beautiful room and nice visit with hosts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The welcome at such a late hour (midnight).
Cons: No en-suite although we had a bathroom to ourselves.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a very comfortable home to stay in with most helpful owners
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the top floor of the house. Big room and bathroom, quiet, very comfy bed. Baljeet and Parm were excellent hosts we had a great laugh and chat together. Breakfast well catered for. It was definitely a home away from home.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We knew we were going to arrive early so contacted Baljeet to see if we could leave our luggage. Amazingly, she had made a great effort to get our room ready so we were able to check in immediately. You prepare your own breakfasts and have use of their kitchen. Whilst this seemed strange at first it made sense with people arriving and leaving at such irregular hours. We were able to have some toast (we could have had more!) before we left at 5:30am. Not something you could do in most B&Bs or hotels. Elsewhere others have commented that they felt uncomfortable using the kitchen but this is certainly not how you were made to feel. Baljeet could not have been more helpful. You are a little way out of town but it was great to stretch the legs and if you feel lazy or tired there are buses that stop nearby. We could not have been happier with our choice.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location. Shower water pressure was good. Access to kitchen and bbq deck was good. We appreciated the ability to bbq a freshly caught salmon for dinner.
Cons: Awkward layout. We rented two queen rooms with en-suites for two couples. No one was there to greet us when we arrived, just a note on the unlocked door. The rooms were labelled with the individual names of one couple, and no labels for the second couple. One room had an en-suite, but the other room had a private bathroom accessed via a public hallway. Bedsheets had bloodstains, pillow had a musty smell, toilet seat was corroded. Bbq was grimy, so we had to clean it before use. Then the bbq didn’t work, had to call owner to come onsite with a lighter. Check-in using credit card was difficult (iPhone + Square), and took many attempts to accept the credit card charges.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We arrived very late/early in the AM. Hostess had left a note on the door with directions on getting in and to our room. Much appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Check in was easy. Our room was very clean and nice. We had plenty of privacy. Everything was provided for make your own breakfast in their large, very well stocked kitchen. We cooked our own eggs and toast (all provided) and made a pot of coffee. We really enjoyed our breakfast. We would highly recommend to other travelers.

7.4 Good
Pros: I liked the location, the discount vouchers, the included breakfast. That the hotel is listed in the travel discount websites.
Cons: There was no comfortable seating in the room, the heating was not comfortable. While I understood there were renovations in recent years, the furnitur was not upgraded to complinent it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I missed out on breakfast as i was sleeping !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Mall??
Cons: I was stuck on a train
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Service was very good, rooms were clean enough.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good beds. Nice breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. Nice view of ocean.
Cons: Not hotel's fault but lead in water conerning....not sure if water in lobby filtered or tap..
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was very good, the location was down town and central. Shopping mall, bank, pharmacy, restaurants, Harbour front, museum all within easy walking. The view of the Skeena River, mountains behind was very picturesque. The staff was very friendly, curteous and very accomodating.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Room was noisy, right next to the elevator shaft. Barking dogs in room I think left unattended?

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The balcony most of all, bed was comfortable. Fairly spacious room. Coffee maker, small fridge and microwave, also an iron and ironing board. Restaurant was ok. The place is decent.
Cons: It’s trying to be classy, but I think it’s going through some economic hard times. The inside looks much nicer than the exterior, which at first I mistook for a high rise housing complex. Must be the concrete and corrugated metal/glass industrial look?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was fine. Not fancy, but fine.
Cons: We got in at 2:00am, so the loud walkie-talkies outside our room at 7:00am were not appreciated. One elevator is stuck on the top floor, do elevator waits were long.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Great location
Cons: Needs upgrade to doors at entrance to automatic opening when enter hotel and new furniture in rooms, needs new look and maids never incert garbage bag properly in bins and always streaks on windows and mirrors. I worked as maid before and it was at a fishing / adventure lodge so i know the importance of quality and the appearance of room for customers.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location to the water and the ferries
Cons: We were put on the fifth floor, which apparently is the dog floor. However, none of us were asked if we had an allergies to dogs. The vents were very dirty. We had to get our key cards activated more than once. There was no air conditioning units in these rooms
2.2 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Making the mistake of trusting wide-angle, obviously dated photography used to portray the facilities. Didn’t look open, lobby, elevator, halls and rooms all smelled of 1980s cigarette smoke, heat for the building was off for “maintinence”, apathy and a space heater offered at the front desk. Rooms were furnished with items that Value Village would have thrown out if they were donated. We checked out after 10 minutes and were thankfully refunded. Run like hell. Shouldn’t even have come up in my search results.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We didn’t eat there, the room was nice, fluffy pillows are important because of my injury, they were great. The view could of been better, we traveled a long way out of the Yukon Territory to come here.
Cons: We arrived after lunchtime and they couldn’t check us in before 3 pm. As we weren’t from Rupert and not knowing what to do or where to go was a problem to kill over two hours of time. I have a spinal injury so resting from time to time is important.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean quiet comfortable and centrally located
Cons: Room temperature was difficult to manage
