The breakfast is great and comes with the room. Food is terrific and sitting out in the porch with your coffee and croissant can’t be better.

Walls were a *little* thin, which is fine because it's an old building.

The staff is fantastically helpful and friendly. The complimentary evening wine and cheese from 5-7pm every night is SO.MUCH.MORE.THOUGHTFUL than I have ever experienced - more like having friends over for wine and cheese than some stale business hotel.

The rooms are equipped with valuable antiques, beautiful paintings, and extraordinary furniture. There is dazzling light, stained glass floor lamps, Tiffany lamps, and in some rooms, brass lamps. There is also fabulous wallpaper and curtains and independently created lavatories that include premium shower heads.

The property is outstanding! It's perfect for a winter stay with all the lovely decoration being made and so friendly. The wine and cheese reception they offered is amazing. Complimentary drinks and tea/coffee…you feel like being at granny’s home and you will get treated like that.

Several guests mentioned that the views from the rooms were spectacular. Opting for a room with a balcony facing the ocean or the bay comes highly recommended.
