Hotel hot tub was closed and under repairs. We selected this hotel for that amenity. The pool had limited hours and poor lighting. Parking was slim. Breakfast was picked over by 8:30 am on Saturday.
Continental breakfast is good. Rooms are generally clean and well taken care of for the price. It is also conveniently located. 1 of 3 rooms wasn't ready but we were told it would be ready in 15 mins. Went to eat dinner & it still wasn't ready 2 hrs later so they gave us a diff room. Minor inconvenience when you have 3 rooms but I wouldn't have been happy if that was the only room
Affordable, convenient. I've stayed in the Radisson (Colo Spgs) and the Motel 6 (Council Bluffs). The Best Western is between those two. The breakfast was good. I just want a clean room, comfortable bed, and functioning TV. The Best Western had them. Just to have something to put in here, when I first turned the faucet in the shower it was noisy. No big problem.
This was the best Best Western that I have ever stayed in. The room was very large and comfortable. I thought that the entrance doors should have key card entrance security for after hours
Location was great! The hotel is outdated, and the beds were horribly uncomfortable. The room was dirty, and the heater didn't work. Our room was right next to truck stop. Heard trucks running all night long. Would stay far away from here.
It was only given 2 1/2 stars but it was much better.
This Stacy's room was much better than the last time we stayed here. Nothing

Location The housekeeping are in the 100 hall was all open and the area was very hot. I felt like I was looking into a sweat shop operation as I walked by. Please get your employees some air conditioning...
Did not have an elevator. We are on a 2 week vacation so our bags are a little heavier. The pool room was roasting hot as the air conditioners in the rooms that bordered the pool room vented into the pool room.
Breakfast was good. Staff was available when needed. Room keys didn't work repeatedly. The hot tub was out of order. :(

staff was friendly I booked a suite with 2 queens. One of the 'Queens" was a fold out couch :/ There was no shower curtain but it was a large open shower. When we used it water got all over the bathroom overall it was a little more run down than I expected at that price point. Breakfast was not good.
Staff were friendly. The pool and breakfast area were clean. The room had a musty smell, probably from old carpets. Definitely in need of an update, as we had to bang the bathroom light several times to get it to flicker on, the shower curtain fell as soon as it was touched , and there were cobwebs in the room and stains on the walls and sheets. The design of the room was a bit odd/cramped. Nevertheless we could sleep there for a night, it's doable but probably not if we needed a place for a multiple night stay.
The room was clean, mostly. That's about it. I could feel springs of the cheap mattress through the non-existent bed pad, one thin blanket with no additional coverings available, and tiny, flimsy pillows I had to roll up in a tube to get any support made it impossible to get comfortable. I finally got a few hours sleep sitting in the stiff chair wrapped in the cheap chenille decorative throw. The rest of the room was Spartan, definitely a hotel about profit margins, exploiting gamblers visiting the casino across the street, not customer comfort.
This was my last stop driving from LA to Chicago and it was the best. Friendly staff and a very clean hotel overall. Also, it's a pet friendly hotel surrounded plenty of green (when it's in season) for you dog to walk around.
Peace and quite so I was able to sleep well. No complaints.
I loved the little kitchen, which had everything we needed. Our room was very cozy and inviting. Also, very clean. The employees were very nice as well! The curtains didnt close all the way, so we only had a sheer white curtain for privacy.
Great hotel. We stayed 3 nights & everything was nice & clean. Loved having a little kitchenette. The breakfast was very good & we liked that they changed up the hot items every day. All the workers we encountered were very nice & made you feel welcomed. The area seemed very nice & safe. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks for an AWESOME stay. The bed we had was very squeaky & soft (which hurt my back) but my husband said it helped his.
The dinner buffet is awesome and breakfast is super as well. When you add it all up, can't beat the overall price. Bianca is a superstar and super friendly. What a great experience. Nothing at all.
The decor was very unique, especially with the options of other hotels in the area. The staff was great and always right at your service. We loved the shower too!
Large, clean rooms, awesome shower, and cool historic feel with modern decorations. Really nice mixed drinks in the room as well. Wife and I loved it and will come back whenever we are in Omaha. Price of Valet is offset by how cheap the room was -- incredible value.
everyone was nice it was affordable and they treated us like kings
We felt like we were treated like queens. We've never experienced valet parking. So fancy! The rooms were beautiful. The lobby was gorgeous. Thomas spoiled us and was so nice. Conner drove us everywhere we needed. What a great service. Would have loved to stay longer. The Old Market location was wonderful and we loved the historical aspect. I highly recommend Hotel Deco! The shuttle will take you anywhere you need and pick you up. Only downfall is they didn't have a GPS and got a bit lost. Nothing too bad though. Well worth the extra minutes on our drive to not have to worry about parking!
Super cool interior decorations in the lobby, lounge and especially the rooms!! Do not miss taking a shower, they are amazing. Unfortunately their check-in system was down when we got there so we were delayed getting into our room. Also, their valet service is a bit slow. But nothing to not rate it 5 stars overall.
Great staff, easy parking, terrific room service, excellent for business.
This hotel has the most comfortable beds, deluxe shower, friendliest staff, cleanest, warmest, best we've ever stayed at in Omaha. A couple of unpolished surfaces in shower (roof leaks).
I loved this hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom was great. Internet was fast and easy to sign onto. Location fantastic. Exercise room had high quality machines and dumbells and kettle weights. Staff super friendly. I liked it all.
Great location. Modern décor. Historic building with neat attributes Very warm in the common areas
It was affordable, offered a pool and breakfast. The room decor is in use of a serious update.
Got a good price through kayak Front desk guy was cranky-- no breakfast was available in the morning...
convenient to airport
Great staff, great Cookies. Friendly people. Will stay again. Price was great.
close to qwest centre
The rooms were clean and decent size. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again in the future. The only real issue was that the rate I was quoted through booking.com was not the rate the hotel had us confirmed at. They immediately made a copy of our confirmation slip and the rate was adjusted. It could have been a hassle had we not brought written confirmation of the rate.
Everything was excellent, it is a good convienent place to stay in downtown Omaha
Overall, I would say that I received more than expected with wireless internet, continental breakfast and a convenient location near plenty of restaurants. I was there for work, and was treated nicely by the staff. Would certainly stay there again.
I was not pleased with the overall cleanliness of the room, the carpet was very dirty with crud along the walls. Check-in took longer than necessary, the front desk clerk charged me again for the room. We did get it all straightened out in the end but it took extra time.
For a 1*, its pretty average. Friendliness of staff made up for any shortcomings though.
the overall stay was very good. was a little skeptical from previous reviews that i read, but called first with questions. Good customer service, manager assured me that the hotel is under new management, and that me and my family would be pleased. that i was, the rate was excellent, rooms werent like the marriott but they were clean and could tell they have been updated recently, Had a issue tub not draining very good, but i called front desk they sent a maintenance man to the room within 15 minutes. All the staff was very inviting and friendly. Was very pleased, and would stay again and recommend to family and friends.
The staff were really nice. My little dog could stay there. Plus it had s microwave and s refrigerator to keepy insulin in . you

Staff was quick to check me in. The room smelled like raw sewage when you ran the bathroom sink that made the kitchenette sink backup and smell like raw sewage. It was horrible.
We stayed one night and it was horrible. The 1st room the floor was wet, changed rooms and the air conditioning did not work (it was 100+ outside that day), changed to a 3rd room and woke up to roaches all over the bathroom coming in through the fan/vent. When I called to notify travel on line of the problems the hotel employee said that it never happened. That I never said anything about the air conditioning problems even though she was the one who came to my room and checked it for herself and then gave us a different room. That I never mentioned BUGS and never changed rooms 3 TIMES! I will never stay there again.
Staff is the worst I've ever seen - Not friendly and/or honest. Whatever happened to 'the customer is always right?' Place is filthy and discusting - carpet is awful, rooms are dirty and the roaches were the largest I've ever seen. I would never stay here again and would not allow my animals to stay in there. I've seen cleaner dog boarding facilities.
That I didn't catch anything while I was there.. oh... and leaving.. Everything.... this place is a step above a homeless shelter... the hot tub must double as a toilet because that %*&$, was brown as a UPS truck. Everything is dirty and I recommend bringing your own blankets and sheets unless you want to be daring and chance not getting a sticky surprise... My advice DON'T BE CHEAP... and pony up the cash for a better hotel... Don't be like me...
Got a good price. It wasn't terrible Leaky ceiling in bathroom. Weird moldy/smokey smell. Cigarette burned comforter. I wasn't really expecting greatness, so overall it was good for the price.
Staff was friendly, and it was in a good location. There was mold in the a.c., and I could tell the place needed a refit. Not bad for a last minute hotel, but it's a health inspector's wet dream.
Good location I guess It was dirty, had broken lights, the shower was clogged and it had orange sticky stuff splattered all over the wall. It smelled bad, the door looked like it had been kicked in lots of times. The pool area was under maintenence the entire time
Nice location and the room itself was great! I don't remember the last time I was in a hotel with a full kitchen and even a stove within the room.... Would definitely recommend this place again
- Great room layout & amenities - Free breakfast - Excellent location - Comfortable bed - Passive-aggressive staff - Cleanliness of room not nearly to par with other Element/Westin properties we frequent - Worthless HVAC system...room was 80F+ our entire stay, forcing us to keep windows open in 20F weather
Location is great, breakfast, staff, comfort, facilites are great. We had NO control over the room temperature; why bother including an interface in the room if it doesn't respond? We were cold enough to need jackets at all times in the room. Also breakfast could be earlier, 6am would be much better than having to wait until 7am.
Friendly staff, good location, room decor is nice and well planned. The room and the bath could use more cleaning. Mold was growing in the shower.
Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Right off of the main road so the noise from the traffic was pretty bad
We absolutely love this hotel, the concept, and convenience of both the location and the ability to get whatever we needed at either the small hotel market, the attached grocery store and/or delicious food delivery. Wish there were more of these hotels! Paid parking, the breakfast could easily be improved with more fresh selection, our HVAC didn't work real well.
The hotel was a great value for the money. Very nice rooms and great variety for continental breakfast, both hot and cold, during our stay
clean, quiet, easy to find wish breakfast was earlier. it was part of the reason that i chose the hotel, but wasn't offered before 7:00 a.m. and our event that brought us to town required us to leave at 6:30 a.m.
Love the location--it was great to be able to walk to the quality restaurants nearby.
Location My schedule didn't allow us to stay longer
I loved that the hotel was so close to the airport and Old Market. It was the perfect location for our girls trip. I was very happy with my choice of lodging. The bathroom in our room was a little rough. There were pieces of the tiles coming off the floor that we are stepping on. The elevator also has a very strange smell.
The hotel was nice and very clean, but what really made it stand out was the staff. The man at the front desk and the shuttle driver really made our trip. Would definitely recommend!!
We stayed overnight due to a late flight. The room was great with standard amenities for an reasonably priced motel. Don't let the name dissuade you. The decor style was modern home in the country -- not folksy country. We were most impressed with the complimentary breakfast which include a wide assortment of both cold and hot foods.
Fresh cookies at registration! (out)dated facilities... need updating!
Next to strip club Room smelled like cleaning supplies spilled.
Good location, friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was not as good as we are used to.
It was clean, unlike a lot of our other options. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was a nice surprise. Other than that it was a pretty basic hotel room. Since it was on the edge of town, we couldn't find many places to deliver food to us. It wasn't that big of a deal, but is noteworthy I think.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot was a wee bit full... please remember there is snow piles in parking spot and people don't park the best during winter when charging/ accepting extended parking for travelers.
The service was great very clean and well kept place would recommend to anyone very convenient location close to airport and other amenities
The staff was superb! They were very friendly and helped us with suggestions on places to go and eat. The added bonus, was the shuttle offered to our event!
the breakfast was good. the room was pleasant. the staff was very welcoming and informative good water pressure in the shower nice price for a family wasn't in town, but not far away the air conditioner/heater was making unnecessary noise the beds could have been more comfortable, but not too bad the bathroom needed a paint job the plug outlets need covers the sauna needed to be cleaned and had too much bleach in it and there were bubbles of black in it because of the dirty tiles in the pool. very old feel and look to the place
staff was friendly and helpful room smelled funny, hole punched in the wall by the door
There was room to park the uhaul. There was a dead rabbit in the parking lot, which appeared to have been decaying awhile.
It's ok for the price.
Common areas littered with trash. Bare wires exposed where smoke detector was to be mounted. Carpet heavily soiled & stained
The price! It's an old Motel 6. The bathroom was unpleasant, but functional, as well as everything else. It won't be the best place you will ever stay, but it won't be the worst, either.
I hate to say it but there was honestly nothing I liked about this hotel. The problem started right when I got there. I made a reservation online and apparently it was set for one queen bed and not two twins. I asked if we could change that out and the guy said no problem but it would be an extra $10. I said not a problem pulled out my wallet grab my card and he said he insists that it be in cash. At this point I was very skeptical about the whole hotel. I told him quite frankly that I would pay with a card or I wouldn't pay it all. So I got the extra $10 paid with my card and he took us upstairs to check out the room and it was a disaster. The curtains were broken and hanging off of the rail, the TV was from the 90s and the room smelled awful. All in all unless this is your last choice and you need a place to stay I highly recommend anything else.
Price/location Pillows, beds, staff was horribly rude & unfriendly.
friendly staff & good location the a/c was EXTREMELY loud & did not work properly!!! we would have to manually adjust the temp because we would wake up HOT!!! the thermostat was not working properly. was woken up 4-5 times during the night.
My room didn't have a DVD player so I kindly asked if they had one I could rent. The man behind the counter snapped back, "no, this is very basic hotel". That was his answer for everything
The no smoking rooms are located between and below smoking rooms. The air ducts seem to be connected and the smoke rolled into my room looking as though I had just got done puffing one in the room myself. I will never go back to place again.
Disgusting place, garbage everywhere, broken windows, not even a real lobby- just a safety fiberglass window.
It was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Water was nice and soft and had great pressure. Door was secure but a little broken making it hard to close from the outside.
Price and the beds were quite comfy Cleanliness!! Way below other best western we have stayed st previously
They lie about the price take money out randomly have illegal immigrant workers who whistle at my gf They better hope they have green cards and ppermits for the terrible work they are doing ... horrible place ignorant staff unsafe pool area house keeping came once in 4 days and nights
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay! The breakfast bar... I cannot eat anything with Gluten, apples, or oranges, or anything offered at all. When I asked if they had anything at all that was gluten free, or a banana (only fruit I can eat) I was looked at funny and told no.. So I starved while my family enjoyed breakfast.
The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was surprisingly high end with regard to The fixtures and functionality. I like to take stairwells whenever possible. I was unable to enter the stairwell on the first floor. Sometimes this is my only form of exercise and I like to build it in to my day. I am sure this is for safety reasons and certainly understand.
The bed was so comfortable. Staff were efficient and courteous. Unfortunately the hotel is dated and you could tell they used to allow smoking in rooms.
people were very friendly and there was a nice selection at breakfast the carpet was disgusting and I did fear that my car was not safe overnight.
The staff was awesome. Very friendly. Felt comfortable. The room was clean. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The morning food was great. We plan to use this hotel on a regular basis.
My husband, 4 yr old, 1-1/2 yr old and I stayed here 2 nights while attending the zoo. Can't beat the location for that! Staff was friendly, although not always as attentive as I would like. I do however, feel this has more to do with the age of the staff than the facility. Motel is older but not falling down. Would have liked more water pressure when showering but it worked. Beds were clean & comfortable. We were tucked back in a corner and didn't hear much noise. The room wasn't overly cramped so the kids had some space to move around. Could have easily put up a pack 'n play. It was nice to have the microwave and refrigerator. Water pressure when showering was low. Pool isn't very big and no hot tub. Got to breakfast late the first morning and there wasn't a lot of options (our fault though) and the sausages I got were cold.
breakfast was ok very disappointed. room wasn't ready on time, the pool was out of order, and had been for weeks apparently(wish they would've told me that when booking) ice maker didn't work, front desk just replied"oh,well there's one on 2nd floor you'll just have to use that one" key card didn't work either when trying to come in from outside of bldg to inside. would like to get some compensation ,really.
The Staff were especially accommodating and went out of their way to help upgrade us (for free!) when the room we Booked was not available. The extra space made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
The room we had was perfect, clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for the two of us. The wifi would not connect to the internet because it never asked for the password. THAT was the only frustration for me.
2 sinks in the room Beds were not that comfy. Hotel was rather old and stuffy.
Comfortable beds. Quiet room. Decent pool and continental breakfast. Great location for our trip to the zoo. Good price. Helpful staff.
clean, modern elegant good for adults shallow pool & very small, hot tub older and weak jets, not a good family hotel
The hotel was great, our service, staff and cleanliness. Was excellent! We also had our family reunion in one of the convention rooms and that was great as well. I only want to see that I was disappointed at the activity going on there...We all came to the conclusion that there was a young hooker there and she slept on the couch in the lobby by the elevator and hung out by the front door all the time...also a young black man who was hanging out with her.....Very Disappointing that the hotel lets this go on so blatantly...we had our families there and that made us a bit uncomfortable. I think my cousing is calling the 7news investigates about it.
