Pros: The property is the creation of the owners, and it shows; it is exceptional. The attention to detail on the building, the cleanliness, the falicilities, etc., were impossible to criticise. The property is massive, with great walks in the Canadian outdoors. The owners were also so helpful, friendly, and exceeded expectations with all our needs. We had a great stay, and I highly recommend this property.
Cons: Nothing. This was one of those stays that ticked every box, and exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Ideal for a getaway. It needs a bit of tidying up outside

Pros: Very personal attention, great desire to please the guests. Swimming in the lake.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! And the hosts was very friendly and accessible. Very clean room!
Pros: The owner was very kind and hospitable. We found a little piece of paradise in the wood. I really enjoyed how quiet it was in the night. The ambiance with the Christmas lights, decorations and fireplace made it super cozy and magical. We were able to play boardgames in front of the fire and the owner was full of little attentions. Our room was extra cozy, hearthwarming and the bed extra comfy. I loved the elevated bathtub with all the little natural products to pamper. Finally, breakfast and fresh coffee the next day was excellent (fresh omelette with appetizers). I really appreciated that the owner served breakfast at the time of our choosing so we could rest in the morning.
Cons: The only negative point was that the gite is located deep in the wood and getting there with all the snow and ice and hills late at night with a small car made it challenging.
Pros: The Greeting ,the looks of the place ,the comfort of the room , swimming in a beautifull clean lake and mch more.....
Pros: The breakfast is delicious, perfect to start a morning!
Pros: the room

Pros: Loved Prego, the house cat
Pros: Hosts were super nice
Pros: Jeannine and Alain were very friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Excellent host, very accommodating to our needs.
Pros: Owner familly are really welcoming. House are in excellent state, beautiful and very well maintained.
Cons: Bit of noise from street and in the house himself.
Pros: This gite is a gem that we discovered by accident. It is well worth staying here if you are in the area. It is in a beautiful old farmhouse and the rooms are spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The hosts are gracious and engaging and breakfast was delicious. There is a good restaurant not too far away. It was a real bonus for our trip to discover this B&B, and it's great value for money to boot.
Pros: The very warm and welcoming atmosphere
Pros: Amazing hospitality. Beautiful home.
Pros: An historic farm home beautifully decorated and well maintained. Run by by a charming couple. Great breakfast provided. Excellent value for your money.
This room features an en suite shower and bath and access to a shared toilet.Whether for a relaxing stay combined with extreme sports such as the stationary hammock, the immobile deck chair and the excessive stroll around a campfire, to escape with the person of your dreams for a romantic evening at the spa or for you shut up in silence and tranquility for a week to write the end of your new novel. The gîte Chez Lulu et Lutin is the ideal place to get away from the city. Mother nature and the country environment of the region will allow you to relax and unwind. And all this, less than an hour from Montreal. Your hosts, André and Ninon, are ready to welcome you and ensure you a memorable stay. The cottage is upstairs and is completely separate from the quarters of the owners to ensure privacy and tranquility. It includes two private bedrooms, a shared bathroom, small refrigerator, and a living room with a TV. The cottage is located on a plot of 55,000 square feet. - Club de Golf Montcalm (12.2 km) - Yucca Riviera Restaurant (5 km) - La Lanterne Cafe/bar (7 km) - Maxi Supermarket (7 km) - IGA Supermarket (7 km) - Marché Delorme Market (7 km) - Metro Supermarket (8 km) - Lac Pontbriand Lake (0.3 km) - Montcalm Mountain (4 km) - Ouareau River (12 km) - Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (65.2 km) - Mont Tremblant International Airport (87.2 km)
Pros: Very clean, owners are very hospitable
Cons: We weren't informed about dogs (there are two digs). The rooms are on the second floor only ,but we weren't informed.
Pros: Our hosts were discrete yet attentive and so very thoughtful. We needed a quiet night away from our small children so we absolutely loved the peace and calm of their bed and breakfast. There was plenty of room to park our minivan and the snow had been all neatly cleared away. The rooms and shared areas were spic and span, neat and tidy, which I particularly appreciated. The host even offered us snowshoes to enjoy the fresh air of the wooded area surrounding the house. The location is great, too-- tucked back in the hills so as to feel private and cozy but just a quick drive to downtown Rawdon with charming shops and eateries. (The pizza at Crabtree Pizzéria is definitely worth a stop.) The breakfast was generous, well-cooked, and nicely balanced with loads of fresh fruits. I would love to come back here again!
Cons: Make sure to pay directly on the premises before checking out. I had entered my payment information on Booking.com but hadn't realized that I had not yet been billed so I felt a little embarrassed. (My fault! I should have read the fine print of the email better.) Not at all anything bad, just sharing so other guests will be better prepared (and less embarrassed) than we were. Also make sure to swipe carefully if you pay with a card, otherwise you will likely get a read error. Hope that helps others because this is a fantastic place that deserves loads of guests!
Pros: We stayed for two nights for a local orienteering meet. Our host was there to greet us on arrival, had already turned on the air conditioning in the room to cool it down, and showed us our quarters. The entire upstairs is set aside with 3 rooms and a shared bath (shared just among guests). It also includes a sitting room and a small shared fridge. My bed was very comfortable (firm, no lumps). Our first breakfast was eggs, bacon, fresh sliced fruit, toast, and homemade jam...all artfully arranged on the plate. The second breakfast was crepes for me, french toast for my daughter, Quebec maple syrup, and more fresh sliced fruit. And both breakfasts were offered when we wanted them (we were not required to eat at the same time as another guest). They are located on a quiet, gravel side road, at the bottom of which is a small beach/boat launch, some tables and a dock. It was quite nice to jump in for a little swim after a hot day outside! When we are back in the area, we will certainly stay again at Chez Lulu et Lutin. If you have allergies, note that they have 2 small dogs.
Cons: Careful going up and down the steep stairs to the guest quarters.
Pros: Very welcoming owners. Breakfast was beautiful!! Great coffee! Very honest people. We forgot a pair of gold earrings in the room and he called us right away. Very much appreciated!
Cons: No tv in the second room Shared bathroom but it was just my daughter and I, so it didn't matter.
Pros: Owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful! Better than being at home!
Pros: The location is quiet. The rooms were clean and the view from our balcony was very nice.
Cons: We stayed here 4 years ago and remembered it fondly. The couple that ran the place was very nice. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. Breakfasts (included in cost) were gastronomic works of art. Sadly, it seem the ownership has changed. Breakfast (not included in cost) was plain. Rooms were not cleaned during the day. Owners promised us tea in the mornings, then forgot. In fact we had trouble finding anyone there at all to check in and check out. With some experience perhaps they can do better in the hospitality business.
Pros: The food was excellent, and prepared by a chef!
Pros: Location and the rustic look
Cons: Cold shower and no airco
Pros: Very nice breakfast in charming Quebec country style dining area.
Cons: A bit out of the way. Use your navigator in your car.
Pros: Place to stay the night
Cons: No air circulation on room. No fan provided. Hot water was slim to none.
With a stay at Rawdon Golf Resort in Rawdon, you'll be steps from Club De Golf Rawdon and a 4-minute drive from La Source Bains Nordiques. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The place The fireplace in the room
Cons: There was nobody when we arrived at 11PM
Pros: Perfect place to relax & unwind. We loved everything about this hotel. Perfect setting, peaceful atmosphere & a owner that cared about his clients and assured to share his knowledge on the surrounding areas.
Pros: The fireplace in the room added a very cosy touch.
Cons: Access to the stairs was awkward due to mud puddles. Some gravel would have been in order. Much finishing work left to be done.
Pros: We stayed at the suite and it was gorgeous. There was a fireplace between the bed and the couch which gave the room a super romantic feel. The owner was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating! We also had a balcony with a view of the golf course. The Resort is only 5 months old so everything is new :)
Cons: There should be a sign indicating the building is the hotel.
Cons: Stairs to the rooms. Cannot go back until there is some kind of elevators.
Pros: Solid place ! Trendy On the edge ..
Cons: Not that much !!
Pros: Clean & Quiet
Cons: No elevator; Only one simple lock on the door, no extra anti-thief facility.
Cons: We were placed in a room that was being renovated. It was cluttered and there was a natural gas line just lying beside the unfinished fireplace. We had to go across the road to the restaurant to sign in because they do not have a reception desk. We had no heat other than the bathroom. We didn't have enough towels or a hairblower and had to run across the road to find someone to help. We came down to celebrate our son's wedding and it would have been nice not to be stressed about our accommodations. It was NOT worth the money we paid. We would not recommend this place.
Pros: The rooms are lovely, though unfinished, not sure why I was given a room that was unfinished but rented out. There is already some where and tear on the room, but I love the large windows, the view and fireplace. Fun!
Cons: I didn't like that the room was said to have a bath and it didn't, I paid more for a bath. I found it strange the wardrobe wasn't finished inside. There were hair on the moldings of the bathroom and the toilet hadn't been cleaned from the prior guest. yuck.

Cons: Rug in the room. better with caution floor for allergy
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: The refrigirator is noisy. Again, bathroom exhaust fan is noisy.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Toilet sink doesn’t drain properly Toilet exhaust fan is noisy The person who cleans the room just made the bed and did not remove the bags with the empty food boxes that I’ve eaten in.
Cons: There was a wedding reception the evening we stayed. Very loud in our room, can hear and feel the music in our room. And we stayed on the 3rd floor.
Pros: The rear park and small river falls
Pros: The location.
Cons: The service.
Pros: The staff are very friendly and the room is clean. I liked the view from my room.
Cons: The internet was very bad. It nearly did not work even to open my emails. TV channels diconnect from a minute every now and then.
Pros: Lovely location next to the river. Room was a good size. Good selection for breakfast.
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful
Cons: Wifi internet service is terrible
With a stay at Esterel Resort in Esterel, you'll be on a lake, just a 1-minute walk from Esterel Golf Club and 15 minutes by foot from Hors Limite. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything was perfect, little paradise
Pros: Food at restaurants was quite good and 10$ cocktails at pool bar very decent size. Great location, just an hour from the city on a beautiful lake. Fun (expensive) water activities. It was nice to escape the city and get away for a night, despite the negatives we would go back but maybe purchase a package prior.
Cons: Service was not great - dinner and breakfast waiters had to be reminded several times for bread, water, wine (that was ordered paired with meal but meal arrived without the wine!) and cutlery. Staff was average and didnt go out of their way for you, as is often seen in North American resorts and pricier hotels. Slowest checkout I have ever seen. We received a text to do a Express checkout but the instructions did not make any sense! Everything is extra if you haven't purchased a package - water activities 20$/hr per kayak/SUP etc. It should be included at a resort. Rooms were nice but you could see the wear and tear on some of the furniture.
Pros: Beautiful location. Clean. Staff was very professional!
Cons: The adult pool was not as clean as the non adult pool. Not enough chairs at the pool/beach to accommodate all the guests
Pros: The room was nicely decorated and clean. The room had everything one might need.
Cons: The front desk staff was not very professional or welcoming! We expected to be greeted with a smile but instead had to deal with staff that looked way too passive and overworked. I called the front desk staff night before for some information regarding Payment and they gave me one answer but when we physically got to the front desk, they said the info given was incorrect. Once we got our room keys we were acquainted with the elevator - the only elevator going up in the whole hotel! It took us almost 10 minutes to go up to our room because the elevator seemed to malfunction. Once in the room we could finally relax. The room was clean and seemed spacious enough for 2 people because of the decor. We had the garden view and its nothing exiting. Basically see more of the Parking than the "garden" - which itself is just a patch of grass with some rocks. We then went to check out the facilities. Just ok. There are a few hot baths and a few cold baths, 2 small swimming pools and a conservative beach spot. Indoor there was a sauna, and a steam room. We were 2 adults just needing a day away from the kids - and thats exactly what we got. The hot baths were amazing under the stars. There was mostly couples there (up to 5 couples per bath) We spent the remaining time in our room and drove to grab some quick bite outside the hotel. All in all worth 187 CAD bucks. Probably won't come back again because the staff seemed miserable and it didnt put us in a vacation mood. But the checkout was quick and painless - wish the check in would be the same!
Pros: Room was beautiful and modern. Beds were extremely comfortable ( King size bed and Queen size Murphy bed). Kitchenette made it very convenient for our family of three. Hot tubs were amazing, and the lake was beautiful. Really loved the hammocks and swings right in the lake.
Cons: Restaurants are all gourmet style and very expensive. There were no family friendly options. Most resorts have free coffee in the lobby but here you can only buy at the cafe. Finally, the activity desk staff need to be friendlier. You book your kayaks, padal boards etc with them. Everything costs extra... Front desk staff were excellent.
Pros: Beautiful resort, quite a lot to do. amazing staff. Some pools are for adults only. If you want more peace and quiet, it is best to select a room in the Evolution building.
Cons: I think the furniture in the rooms could be updated (living room table a bit worn out for expl). Given the price of the rooms, a pass for the water activities should automatically be added.
Pros: The room was nice and big. Washroom has separate shower and big tub. Kitchenette, dining table, 2 TVs walkout to balcony. Very enjoyable.
Cons: Activities such as kayak and canoe rentals are only up to 5 pm. That was a major thing I did not like. It would be nice if they extend it to 7 or 8 pm in summer. Also would you be nice if they had a small play ground for kids.
Pros: Rooms restos little beach sauna
Cons: A bit pricey
Pros: Beds very comfortable
Cons: More staff required ar activity centre and more consistent information for new guests
Located in Saint-Thomas, Motel St-Thomas is within a 10-minute drive of Arthur Robillard Park and Renaud Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: No breakfast at this motel
Cons: A little cleaner outside the back end of the motel
Pros: Clean, nice bathroom.
Cons: Kettle did not work.
Pros: Nice washroom and with a balcony in back. There was instant coffee . When i arrived I was able to cancel my second night stay because of a change in plans without any fees , which was very appreciated.
Cons: Tv didnt work and sheets smelled bad. Only 2 pillows. Air conditionner was noisy.
Pros: Surprisingly clean. Not too far out from Joliette. Quiet place. Friendly staff
Cons: Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and only 1 pillow per person is weird for a hotel. Also a tv from the 70s could be updated.
Pros: It was clean, well maintained and description was accurate with regards to all amenities offered. Had fridge and microwave for us to store and heat leftovers. Staff was pleasant. Would definitely stay there again.
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Beds are not comfortable
Pros: Good value, close to mernois winery and friendly owner.
Cons: Little bit old.
Pros: the place seemed clean and the price was very low
Cons: It smelled cigarette in the room. we needed to leave the doors opened and shoot some febreeze to negate the smell
Located in Saint-Charles-Borromée, Motel Bonsoir is near the beach, a 5-minute walk from Joliette Golf Club and within a 5-minute drive of Saint-Charles-Borromee Cathedral. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This motel is a very nice place to stay. It has very comfortable rooms and the staff are very nice.
Pros: Right next to golf course
Cons: The bed was comfortable however the box spring was terribly noisy .you could not move cause it was making noises and getting out was even worse. So if you or partner turned it was making that awful noises.
Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: We were overcharged by about 35-40 dollars because my booking didn’t go through which at first I received a email stating it went through with confirmation number but after the fact I received a message saying it didn’t. When we checked in hotel they didn’t take this into consideration at all. I’m not happy with Booking.com. Besides the room was very outdated, and no step leading into entrance of room so I almost tripped twice. Will definitely not stay there again.
Pros: Very clean, housekeeping staff generous with towels, two different heat sources in room, just a very nice example of a basic motel.
Cons: Booked while under the impression that there was an on-site laundromat. Not their fault I guess but it turns out that the two laundromats in Joliette are at the other end of town, which was an issue for me
Pros: It is a very clean, family motel operated with pride. The rooms are well taken care of, the floors are really nice, there are glass wine glasses and drinking glasses provided and the owners are incredibly helpful and kind. It is a great value motel!
Pros: Good location. Comfortable bed. Aged but clean.
Cons: Small soap in the bathroom. Had to buy a bar of soap for 2 people to shower. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. Razor only.
Pros: Just a nice example of a basic motel. Heavy wood furniture had a finish that easily wiped clean. Plenty of hot water, fridge, microwave and hair dryer in room
Cons: A little out of the way, although the upside of that was that it was utterly quiet at night
