Pros: The room and bathroom were clean. Good location for visiting the town.
Cons: The rule that absolutely no food is allowed in the room means that I was forced to eat my fruits among dirty dishes left on the tables by other guests, dirty linen thrown around the lounge and in the accompaniment of noises made by the landlady rushing back and forth with some cleaning equipment. The room and bathroom were clean but would benefit from some hooks and bedside lamps with more pleasant light.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although we had only an overnight stay in Redcar we enjoyed this cosy, clean and very friendly guesthouse. The room (we were 2 adults, 2 boys and a dog) as well as the public areas like breakfast room were in perfect order and tasteful decorated. We were warm welcomed by Gill and got some good recommendations for the to-does in town. Best was for sure the lemon top icecream at Pacitos. The mattrasses in our bedroom were not too soft neither too hard and we had a choice of several pillows. We had a smaller doublesize bed and two singlesize beds in ur family room. Yes, the staircase was narrow and there was no elevator, but it was okay for us as we knew about it. The WiFi connection was good. The breakfast was fantastic, we good freshly prepared full english breakfasts plus a choice of breads, marmelades and jams, cereals, joghurts and juices. We really enjoyed our stay. The beach and promenade are within a 5-10 minutes footwalk reachable from the guesthouse, there you find loads of restaurants. For bigger supermarkets you should use your car.
Cons: Nothing, it was a brillant stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent B & B very clean and Modern, highly recommend. Superb breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Her husband and fellow staff were lovely. Lovely accommodation, lovely food, family room with ensuite was very comfortable with hot running water, great location.
Cons: On arrival, the lady owner greeted my friends and I in a very patronising Manor. I had misread that the family rooms I had booked were for 2 adults and 1 child under 16years. I paid an excess fee to cover the room cost but she made several comments of the fact I had made a mistake. She advised me to phone next time before booking so she could explain exactly what the rooms were for! Also spoke down to my friends and I about overindulging and vomiting in the room as there would be a charge etc, called my friend a good girl for taking the room key. Very blunt and unfriendly. Upstairs rooms had a shared bathroom, one of which had old vomit in a bin, cold running showers and very noisy toilet.

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely views and amazing patio outside to relax, enjoy nice drink and watch the sea. Bar area tidy and cozy. Very good breakfast. Comfy bed.
Cons: I personally think the place is overpriced. We paid a lot for a one night stay in a room that could and should be refurbished, especially bathroom. Funny shower that goes from cold to boiling hot in 2 seconds, no toiletries provided. Tatty carpets and furniture that were far from what I expected. Parking way too small and crowded. Not worth the money and would not stay there again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly Nice breakfast
Cons: No toiletries were provided for the whole of our staff which I found very very disappointing for a hotel of that reputation
8.8 Excellent

7.5 Good
Pros: The view and comfy beds.
Cons: Limited menu and no daily specials.

Cons: Parking could be better but limited for space.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff. Our dog very welcome.
Cons: Limited choice of evening meal, having a dog there wasn’t a dog friendly place to eat in the town. Pillows too hard which seems to be the norm wherever we go for some reason. No water glasses No lift but as it was a late booking we couldn’t get a ground floor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent beach front location, a little old fashioned but spotlessly clean, fabulously dog-friendly
Cons: Lack of reception meant ringing the bell and waiting...and waiting!

5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was nice enough. Good view and comfortable bed.
Cons: The noise from other guests was horrendous. They were shouting outside til 4.30 am.Not just outside the hotel but also inside-on the stairs and outside rooms.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was amazing, good check in clean and comfortable.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok. Location overlooking the sea was great. Convenient access to buses.
Cons: Thick winter duvet on the bed proved too hot in July. Requested a lighter one but none available, so winter duvet or nothing! Hairdryer not working - I did inform staff but didn't seem interested. Shower screen ineffective letting water run through and did inform owner but she, Dawn, didn't seem interested.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was very clean and fresh, nice modern decor and the en suite bathroom looked very new, just let down by the lack of pressure in the shower. Location was great, breakfast very nice and staff very pleasant.
Cons: First night was very noisy with people going into each others rooms into the early hours. We also found the room very small, it was good value for the money but probably the smallest hotel room I have ever had. The shower was little more than a trickle which for me is a deal breaker.

Pros: The breakfast was really good. I do not eat a cooked breakfast and there was a good choice of fruits, cereals, cold meats etc. The staff couldn't do enough for us and having mentioned we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary found a bottle of prosecco in our room. A lovely surprise.
Cons: Some facility for hanging up bath towels to dry would have been useful but I suggested this before we left and it was being looked into.
