Lovely colonial bed and breakfast. Charming owners. Excellent accomodations, excellent information for surrounding area activities and food, excellent breakfast. It's not that I didn't like it. We LOVED it. (However, I am allergic to animals and they have two wonderful wellbehaved dogs - but I needed to take medication.) It might be wise to include in their information that they have dogs in house.
Everything was wonderful
Hosts were knowledgeable about the area, and very friendly. The food was fantastic, fresh, local and prepared perfectly. We had a great time. That we had to get back to work and couldn't stay longer.
The Brownstone was a lovely old colonial home. The food was excellent and the hosts went out of their way to please. All in all, a very pleasurable experience ...
quite non smoking atmosphere with wonderful owners no
Innkeepers were attentive, very helpful, good recommendations given and attentive. Great home and cozy atmosphere. Great, great breakfast. Noisy toilet. Small tv. Parlor was not attractive at all.
I did not have a whole lot of time due to the dog show I was attending (seminars) but the time I did have at your Inn was wonderful! I loved my room (huge), had a ball in the hot tub and shower was one that I hope to put into my home someday. The food was great and what a bargin (the ny steak), the person who was waiting on the table and bar was very nice and I enjoyed his advice regarding dinner . The young fellow(Appollo) was super great and helped me to my room and the gift shop info. He is a great person to greet people as they enter your lobby-friendly, helpful etc. I loved your gift shop-bought the Bassett for my son's vet clinic- he loved it! And I also bought the 4 pictures (cats, rabbit and chicken) and a rabbit container No
A quiet hotel, but at the same time very convenient to close-by villages, towns like Bird-in-Hand and Amish Farms. We got a room right inside the property & so was very quiet. NA
The accomodations were unique, the service exceptional.
Beautiful facility. People were very professional and courteous. Bed needs more pillows. Bed was too hard for what was advertised.
The service was excellent as well as staff...Our son is having his wedding reception here next November...We came for a tour...It will be beautiful....Fave part was buying ornaments I adored off of your beautiful tree in lobby..Our overnight stay was fantastic...Will add the spa services on next visit
i love the space in the upstairs sitting area, computer area.. i loved the window seats..
The room was comfortable and the service was good. Just thought there would more greenery and less concrete, from the picture on line. All the artifical plants and flowers.
Location was very good for my purpose of being there - Breakfast "not great but not bad" but I ordered off the menu. That's it for things I liked. For the price per night (which was low) and I did look at reviews, I now wish I would have spent a few extra dollars and booked another place. I stayed 4 nights. This is probably a place where local business companies have day time Seminars etc. Because of younger adults running the hallways all past 9-10 pm and room next to me playing music very loud I had no choice but to ask to change rooms at 9:30 pm !! I am not some OLD guy with a grudge just the opposite. Room I moved to was from 1960, walked in and thermostat was set to max 90 - it was a sauna at 9:30 pm and who knows how long the thermostat was set at that temp. Room was Lousy in all respects. The entire facility is EXTREMELY DATED. My 1st room was "doable for the money" in regards to bed, bath, TV etc, VS. Facility not monitoring guest noise, people running around etc. that was unacceptable to me and room I had to change to was Terrible -- The facility WiFi was so-so, Front desk staff was not what I am a use too. Poor mannerisms, Front desk person wasn't even sure where my room was on the map when I first checked in. Went to front desk and could not find anyone then went to Bartender to ask and he seemed to be frustrated I was asking where the Front Desk person was telling me "they are there" we walked up and he went in the back and said "I don't know where they are" BOTTOM LINE: we are all on a budget but please spend just a little more on your budget and book elsewhere.
Bed was very comfortable; 2 vanities (one in the bathroom, one outside) which was very convenient. Storage in closet and built-in bench were very helpful. Most of the room was basically outdated; carpet was obviously worn. Bathroom could be renovated, but was very functional. I expected an "Executive Suite" to be a little nicer than an above-average room.
Very clean, staff were amazing. Very helpful. On site restaurant was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
Clean, large room with lots of space, 2 vanities, lights bright enough to see. We needed to carry our suitcases up the stairs, had trouble getting the drapes to stay closed.
The courtyard with large pool and tiki bar restaurant are amazing. Families will love it.
Staff was very direct and appeared to be well rehearsed at check-in Room was plenty 'roomy' and clean. Lots of noise in the hallways - pretty much all night (especially for a Wednesday night); Breakfast was limited - and at 8:59am - all was pretty much wrapped up - gone - Would be nice to leave coffee available;
Price and breakfast included and smell of room no trace of cig. smoke The HARD bed had ,2 queen beds for 2 guests we had to each sleep in seperate beds the 2nd night. To get better sleep.
Stayed at the Days Inn for a close by two day seminar. Staff at front reception was helpful and polite. Room was clean and enjoyed being able to fully open hotel room window, have a comfortable chair to use while viewing tv, quiet a/c or heater unit and comfortable bed. Would stay again and recommend.
Front desk staff was great , extremely helpful with our group Nothing
Very cheap, no frills place to stay. The rooms were very outdated.
Nothing They overbooked their hotel on a busy, holiday weekend. Therefore, leaving me with two young children without a place to stay. On top of that, they didn't notify me of their error until 930 pm. It was next to impossible to find another room at that hour. I was traveling at night, with small children, in a strange area. A true nightmare!
The cleanliness of the whole hotel! The friendliness of all the staff! The breakfast selections were amazing! Very luxurious! Knowledgable staff! Exceeded our expectations! The only thing that we disliked was that we were woke by the room next to us being cleaned at 830am on a Sunday.
Having makeup wipes :) Need gluten free stuff for breakfast
Clean, nice room and really good breakfast which was part of package. Sink had slow drain
The facilities and the people are wonderful. If I ever have to come back to the area I would stay here again. I stayed on the 4th floor and at about 9 a.m. they started doing work in the bathroom in the 5th floor room upstairs. I had arrived very late the night before and was still trying to sleep. The staff was very kind and move me to another room immediately. I wish I had known there was construction before I moved into the first room.
Sheet was torn on one bed, The beds could have been triple sheeted, unfitted flat mattress pads hanging off beds on the side, bathroom floor wasn't clean neither was the carpet or toilet. Pillows way to soft and flat. Fridge and heater made noises all night. Please submit this to them. People yelling, screaming & slamming their doors down the hall Felt very safe and no smoking!!!
My daughter and i got tomswim And i was able To Relax in the hot tub after a long drive. The beds were clean and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly, the place was very clean and it smelled clean too. We had a wonderful stay and will stay there again
Didn't like hearing that it will be permanently closing.
Excellent customer service at front desk. Room was clean but hallway on 16th floor had very musty, stale odor.
I was lured by the historical aspect of the hotel. This hotel needs significant care and renovations. It is not clean. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling. The carpet is worn. The curtains are not functional in the room where we stayed. The water temperature and pressure are inconsistent. I could go on.
The bed is not comfortable at all. The closet has water water damage and molded. Some front desk stuff are not helpful at all. Won't stay there again.
The room was ok, if not a little dirty and the carpet was wet. Enjoyed the in room fridge and microwave. Enjoyed the high floor request was accommodated. Enjoyed he free parking. The elevators were prompt. Ok...first, checkin. When there is an obvious line, don't help they people being rude and cutting in first! It tells me that you don't care about your guests. Then there was the flies. Oh the flies. In the evening, we joined friends for a game night, pre-wedding activity and while it was ok, the room had a major fly problem. They were on the tables, on the food, on our drinks. It was terrible. And there was no indication the hotel was interested in fixing that. Then, at breakfast, the flies were back and EVERYWHERE! They were on the food, the drinks, the baked goods, the "clean" plates, our table, and on the people. Approaching the coffee station made them buzz all around and get in your coffee and it was gross. The hotel also was very disorganized as far as the wedding details, and we little to no help to guests. And finally, at check out, they handed me a bill and it was for more money, above what we had already paid in advance. Waiting for that to come through on my card now. Overall, if you want to simulated what a hotel in Botswana is like, stay at the Abraham Lincoln. I've stayed in boatswains, so I can make that comparison. Old building, hardly helpful staff, dirty rooms, and flies every where.
Rooms were clean, bed was nice. The front of the hotel is really scary. I was not sure if the hotel was actually there because it looked closed.

The rooms are great!! It was like being home.. It was under construction, I did not see anywhere when I booked it that it would be.

My overall experience was great at Homewood. The service was great as well as the room. There us nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.
Everything was ready on time an I was kept well informed on check in times and room status. I requested a lowest floor room possible and got a room on 1st floor. This was great because we had scheduled a very late check in and my family was really tired. We were traveling for a funeral the next day. I found it hard to get into. The hotel is easy to see, but you have to turn into the access road for the airport terminal.
Stayed for one night with the family...the hotel was great...spotless..new...and the staff was great...parking garage attached to the hotel...the area where the hotel is was fine despite some of the reviews I read on here...might not look the best but I wouldn't worry about it....restaurant was very good...nice bar also...30 minute drive from futchwonderland was worth it
We enjoyed it all. Entire hotel was spotless. Rooms were extremely attractive. Couldn't be better There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
Clean rooms and a friendly staff. We were there for a concert and the location is directly across the street from the Santander Arena. Perfect if you are visiting that arena!
The staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean and very modern. The food is exceptional. The fitness center has new equipment and it is open 24 hours. I really enjoyed my stay. I have no complaints
Good price. Good location. Clean. Comfy beds. Coffee maker smelled like mildew. When I booked, I paid for the option to have "Free Breakfast" but in reality it was free up to $10 a person off the menu. Only the kitchen wasn't open that morning and there was no option to order off the menu. Only a buffet that was 11.95 a person, so it was impossible to get a "Free Breakfast"
Big rooms with comfortable beds, great for a family.
We were a party of ten including three families and three generations. We were all comfortable and pleased with our accommodations.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and remodeled. Room smelled bad like smoke or something. Main door did not lock properly if the handle had not been put in the right position which left my door completely unlocked for the first night before I noticed this. Bathroom did not have a soap holder in the shower. Renovations were a complete nuisance and had to park far from entrance to my room. No gym available. No vending machines so I had no drinkable water readily available (I called the front desk and the great staff brought me bottled water). Very pricey room for the poor experience.
I had the pleasure of staying at this Hampton Inn on a quick getaway with my wife and 16 Yr old son. When we checked in the Manager was working the desk and he was very courtious. When I asked if we could get a refridgerator in the room he informed me that he thought they were all out, but would do his best to get one, and within 15 minuted he was knocking on the door with one for our use. The breakfast staff was very attentive and when my son was having difficulty with the waffle machine, they came out and helped him and even made one for my wife. Overall they gave me a great impression and I would return anytime.
It was refreshing to enter a hotel that made you feel like you were visiting family. They always greeted us with welcoming smiles and laughter. I loved that they put together a list of staff recommendations for dining in the local area and that they were so energetic. The hotel was clean and well decorated - the rooms were so spacious. The only thing I wondered about was why the hotel rooms were not scheduled to be cleaned during a visit. I appreciate the evironmental awareness and attempts to be friendly - loved the informative tags everywhere but I did expect that when I returned to the room at 5:00 that the wet towels would be gone and the bed at least made. Otherwise, everyone was very accomodating and the location of this hotel was wonderful for exploring all of the surrounding areas!
liked the pool especially since it was snowing outside also apple bees is right there for late appetizers
Everything Noisey loud motorcycle gangs in town over the weekend
The lobby, elevators, hallways, and rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and hospitable. Breakfasts were tasty, guest of the day perks were a nice bonus, and coffee/hot water and cookies in the lobby were very welcome.
I like the location The door keys did not work properly
The bed! The staff were very friendly and courteous. Pool was awesome. Close to everything. Various breakfast items to choose from. Oh and the soft warm cookies they put out in the evening Only one thing I have to complain about is the scrambled eggs had cheese in them and I couldn't eat them.
Friendly, attentive staff
Everything great Everything great except the loud motorcycles driving in packs
i would like a restaurant & bar.
Excellent staff, very friendly and very clean... def coming back... No
Very friendly people. Assistant manager was the consummate host and sincerely nice guy everyone wants to interact with on a holiday. He sure made our stay a true pleasure. Nothing
