Pros: Great hosts and a nice place overall! We appreciated being able to bring our dog with us. Thank you for providing a comfortable place to stay after lots and lots of walking and sightseeing! The place is full of charm!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing apartments, amazing people. Definitely one of those WOW places !! A perfect 10.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were extremely friendly and always immediately responded to our questions and requests. We really enjoyed our daily breakfast basket with a wide assortment of bread and bread rolls, savory and sweet, as well as cheese and home made jams (the quince one was amazing). The hosts even gave us hot chocolate powder for our kids. The kitchen was really well equipped, and had all of the coffee/tea supplies, too. The location is perfect: very central, in a cute house in the typical Alsacian style, yet very quiet. Reserved gated parking spot (3 min walk from the property) was super useful, as there were not many empty spaces in the public pay lots. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and a cold bottle of local wine in the fridge upon arrival
Cons: Some small toiletry basics would have been nice - we forgot to pack ours and some emergency items would've helped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful property. Great location, clean, apartment in a wonderful old house. Has a Stube, and a patio outside. Air conditioning as an added bonus. Hosts were wonderful, very welcoming and delivered a most delicious breakfast right to the apartment. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the middle, yet in a quiet side street, of Riquewihr. Loved the balcony for some quiet time after a long day out and about. Fully equipped kitchen that we made use of occasionally. Delicious breakfast basked, definitely recommended. Spacious apartment that allowed both the parents and the 3 little ones room to go about things. We will be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For those who like to ride a bicycle and love wine it is the best choice:-) There are a beautiful nature and ubiquitous vineyards. September is a very good month to visit. There are fewer people than in the summer and vintage begins:-) Riquewihr is, in my view, the best choice in Alsace (Ribeauvillé is also wonderful). It is a picturesque romantic old village in the heart of Alsace with an amazing history surrounded by "grand crue" vineyards. What you want more?...:-) Parking was free and without any problems (and was nearby). The accommodation was simply amazing, so much history combined with modern comforts (and it is in the center). We had it without breakfast, but I believe it would be great too:-) The hosts (Agnes & Thierry) were very kind and helpful. This can be said of other local inhabitants (we have met). For us it was about... wine, food, architecture, tradition, atmosphere, relaxation (riding a bicycle - "Route des Vins d'Alsace" - in two days we managed about 120 km including a ride on Château du Haut Koenigsbourg)... Me and my wife look forward to returning here again (sometimes)...
Cons: There was not much time to talk with Thierry:-) Perhaps with a glass of fine Alcase wine...:-) So may be next time...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, lovely building. Hosts were very friendly, offered suggestions and recommendations on where to go and what to do. Very well equiped kitchenette.
Cons: Parking is on the street, not too comfortable. There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, only liquid soap.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great apartments!! In the best location!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were terrific, went beyond expectations, great folks!!!!
Cons: Too many stairs to climb, especially with heavy luggage

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the ambiance. Beautiful old building full of wonderful antique furniture and objects. Our room was very well furnished. The staff were very obliging, delivering dinner to our room because their restaurant was booked out on our first night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent room, very clean and nicely decorated. Good and new bathroom facilities. Great price for what you get. It is in an excellent location if you want to explore the wine routes and castles of the area. We were very satisfied.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit simple for french standards but still ok. They clean the rooms and change towels every day which I find unnecessary.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Alsatian feel and look with authentic old painted furniture. Excellent bistro. Pretty village, great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful traditional and genuine feel to this place in a picturesque Alsace village. Wooden staircase & floors added to the authenticity, charming decor with a cosy feel to it all. It has a charming courtyard garden for an evening aperitif plus an excellent cellar bar serving tasty tartes flambées alongside local beers and wines. An abundant breakfast is also served here which features delicious local produce. Our room was comfortable, a good size and well furnished with a view over the courtyard.
Cons: Not a negative but worth noting that you cannot check in before 5pm as the place is closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was like home from home. It’s in a great location for the sites of Alsace. Would definitely stay again.
5.5 Okay
Cons: When we came inside the room. The staff showed us in less than 5 min. Was a huge spider at the bathroom. Besides that. Next day we wanted to eat. We set down and a waitress came and say if we dont have reservation we couldn't get service. The problem is not what she said. But how she said. She was rude. I asked her if we could order to take to our room. Once we were in a suite and we have a big table in our room. She said she was busy. Ignored me and walked away. I think is a ridiculous way to treat guests. Specially on a suite we paid so much to stay in. No excuses for it. Any restaurant can fit 2 more guests. This is just unacceptable. Never will be back. And certainly will not recommend this place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great value for a really unique place to stay. We had the 3 bedroom apartment which suited our extended family very well. Enjoyed the common space of the kitchen. Free parking on the street. Had a fun dinner in their pub. Nice walks to be had around town and into the vineyards. Very close to Colmar and smaller Alsace towns.
Cons: Can't check in until 5:00. Only one other restaurant in town, but we ate there and it was really great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lots of character, great address Can recommend it
Cons: Great address ! Would have preferred smoother bed linen, but that's personal.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: A modern hotel on the outskirts of the town and within easy walking distance. There is ample car parking , a lift and a bar but no restaurant. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is fine. We stayed the day Le Tour came to town and couldn't check in before the stated time of 15:00 hrs even though the room was ready, this appears to be the hotel policy and somewhat unusual. Having said that the staff were efficient and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Near the wonderful restaurant called “La Grappe d’Or”. Not to be missed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location (Riquewihr), parking lot, staff, bar, breakfast, airco, ...
Cons: It would be nice to have a 24 hours reception (but not mandatory)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pools, the superb location, free parking, nice staff, great wifi, extremely clean, we got pool robs and a complete pool basket with towels and blankets. Spacesous room for the whole family.
Cons: Only 2 minor issues - The kids stayed on a gallery floor. There were no veggies on breakfast (that was excellent).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful as our dog needed a rest after a very long trip, allowing us to enjoy the wonderful location and nice evening out with the family. The hotel is very good, nice outside pool, and on the doorsteps of the charming medieval village packed with what France makes at its best.... regional food, wine, and artisans...
Cons: It was not clear that the dog could or shouldn’t stay on its own in the room. In the end, we managed to find an arrangement with the very helpfull staff, which was key to a successful stay !
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location with plenty of parking on site. Staff were friendly and the rooms were modern in design and had everything we needed. We were only there for 1 night so didn't use any of the other facilities but the outdoor pool did look inviting!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a balcony with very pleasant views. Air-conditioning worked efficiently. Breakfast offered a good choice and was well staffed. We did not use either of the pools, but they both appeared clean and were kept tidy by the staff. Undercover parking was a bonus. Reception staff were helpful in extending our stay by a further night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, and the staff. I want to stay here again.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Good service and reception were rerrly kind and friendly.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Central town location. Excellent bed.
Cons: Awful communication. Arrived to check in at 2pm and no one was around. After an hour of trying we got in touch with the owner who informed me they wouldnt be able to check us in until 6 pm. Apparently if checking in on a Tuesday you need to arrange a 'check in appointment' prior to arrival. I have never had this. No apology for making us wait in motorcylce gear for 3 hrs in the heat wave. And the worst is that they lied about agreeing with us a check in time and sending us an email the day before. No email was received. Another couple checking in the same day were in the same situation; they were also told they were emailed but this email was also not received. Good apartment but I would never stay again. This really soured our honeymoon. (stayed in 11 different places around Europe and this was the only place that let us down).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was amazingly comfortable. Towels hung on heated racks. Neat and cozy and warm. This is a lovely place to stay right in the middle of town. I will return and highly recommend this place. The breakfast was beautiful. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. A warm, comfortable, intimate atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything perfect in every way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charles was absolutely great!! He was attentive to our needs/ questions. I am a chef from the states and I’d hire him in an instant!! Pros: Location , clean , value for money , nice bed.
Cons: Language barrier , staff can be more guest oriented.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was amazing. Spacious and the decor was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: The restaurants associated with the hotel were outstanding! The hotel was on the cutest street in Riquewihr. The room was a nice mix of old charm and modern conveniences.
Cons: The staff (one young man) tried to be somewhat helpful, but since he was also the waiter for the restaurant, he had us wait and did not help us with our luggage up the two flights of stairs nor give us very good directions regarding parking or anything else. Also, just little things like the fact that we were required to pay for using any coffee pods in the Nespresso machine in the room felt like we were being nickel and dimed when the hotel was quite pricey!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was great within the village and the room size was large compared to others in France.
Cons: The WiFi in the rooms was not good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of tiny Riquewihr, these lovely apartments were perfect. We stayed in the modern design apartment, which was on the top floor. Supercomfy bed, great shower. A nice breakfast was served in the next door Brendelstaub, which has the same owners. You pick up the key from there too.
Cons: If you are in fit condition like us, the apartment on the top floor should not be a problem. However, if you have problems walking, this may not be your best option.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The incessant music piped through the street!!!! Dreadful? Dreadful!!!

Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and garden. Very friendly and helpful couple running this B&B. Perfect and quiet location for visiting Alsace and the wine route. Both French, English and German spoken. We highly recommend this place.
Cons: Everything was good!
4.5 Okay
Cons: The facility was too small, there were too many rules. They took us in at 5 pm and we were asked to leave at 10 am in the morning
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I spent three absolutely wonderful days at Le Clos Des Raisins and can only recommend this B&B. It is located in a small, calm and picturesque village - however, it is still very central and in the midst of other absolutely stunning and beautiful little towns and villages. The B&B is a true oasis and the hospitality of the owners can hardly be beat. We were welcomed very cordially and equipped with many helpful tips for the area. The breakfast was amazing and especially the countless homemade jams a true treat.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel close to main street in Riquewihr. The rooms felt individually furnished, in the sense the furtiture and decoration had been chosen to reflect the room. Was rather spacious. Breakfast in the main building was very nice and felt relaxing. Parking in separate location, close to the hotel was an extra plus.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous decorated and clean room in hotel Oriel, which is centrally located in picturesque village Riqueville. Great breakfast with variety of choices. Friendly staff.
Cons: None I can think of.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is amazing. Cute little hotel a few feet off the main street in Riquewihr. Did not eat at the hotel. We were on the top floor. Good bathroom and shower. Overall, I would say the deficiency in the hotel was made up for in the location. The town and area is amazing.
Cons: Room got a bit hot. No AC. Bed was hard, but we slept on a comforter nights 2 and 3 and that helped. Top floor rooms have low beams, so watch your head. Staff was just OK. Our room did not get made up one day and we had to ask another day. WiFi would not work in our room... very spotty except for ground floor and even then, just OK.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location just off the main street of the old town. The hotel is housed within a delightful medieval building and as a result the rooms are a bit on the small side and the layout is quirky but very clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. The hotel has private parking just outside the walls and you have to carry your bags but this is the case for all accommodation in the old town. We loved it!
Cons: The decor in the bathroom was dated but it was perfectly clean and everything worked.

7.0 Good
Pros: Charming location
Cons: Breakfast average. Bed not so confortable.
6.3 Good
Pros: very quaint hotel, very typical of the area. The Hotel is across from the restaurant and Zellenberg is very small with little more but it is in close proximity to other lovely places.
Cons: The rooms are very small and be aware that you must CANCEL breakfast not order it and you will be charged a portion of the price if you do not show up or cancel which we found somewhat odd. The restaurant has traditional food although not at great prices, it is a tourist location after all. Parking can be a problem specifically at busy periods.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the village are just stunning. Lovely short walk around the village was very enjoyable. The accommodation I had was great, very roomy and all the facilities I required. Coupled with the restaurant it made for a perfect stay. Unfortunately it was only for one night though.

Pros: We've loved the food in the hotel, the quality was great! Everything homemade and better than Michelin rewieved restaurants in the closed towns. It's located in a small town on the hill, with a wondeful view of the landscape. The hotel is in a 1500's house (just lovely), the room (aloyse) is big, so clean and comfortable. Parking is close to the hotel and it is free.

Pros: This place is very close to the lower gate of Riquewihr; just 2 minutes walk. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and nice. The breakfast was great. We took walks around the vineyards in the vicinity. This is a perfect place to enjoy both the village and the nature.
Cons: The only down side was the speed of internet. Though we could all connect very easily to Wifi, the speed was not that great. I think this can easily be improved. Ours was a very nice and big family room. In terms of privacy, we did have a dedicated bathroom for ourselves but it was not in the room. However, this is only a minor thing.

Pros: The location, in the centre of town, meant that everything was in easy reach and parking adjacent to the property was an added bonus. Quiet at night, despite central location. Breakfast was a good selection and included local products as well as standard items.
Cons: When I made the booking I requested a ground floor room as I find it difficult to climb stairs . A message confirming that such a room would be allocated was sent from the hotel. However, on arrival, no ground floor room was available. Following discussion we were allocated a 1st floor room via a winding staircase, NOT WHAT I BOOKED OR WAS PROMISED. Wifi could only be accessed close to the reception area. No facilities for coffee in room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with parking, which is a rarity in Riquewihr. Friendly staff and fantastic location.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice place to stay, our room was OK but the decor etc was quite tired
Cons: Very steep stairs to the rooms, bathroom is to small, no cooked breakfast offered
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: I expected stairs, spiral, to be fair they did offer to change the room as I have had recent knee surgery, however, I had requested double bed and a shower which they had provided. I was a little annoyed at being charged 5€ each day for parking, which they didn’t appear to monitor, plus they had upgraded us to a superior room and charged the difference. That being said, it is a heatwave and they had provided a fan and mobile air conditioning unit in the bedroom without being asked, although noisy and meant we had to leave the window open for the vent, it did provide welcome relief to the heat
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Friendly staff. Extra airco was provided due to extreme warm summerday. Thank you !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This very old hotel has been cleverly renovated to provide comfortable rooms and very good modern bathrooms whilst retaining its sense of age and character. It is utterly charming.
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel had a great location! They did offer overnight parking, but it was difficult to figure out how to get access into the old town to park there.
Cons: Room we were given was in an attic. The shower was in a slanted corner, making it impossible to stand in the shower properly. The room had a portable A/C unit, but it wasn't vented properly, so the window remained open & it wasn't very effective.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Clean room Literally in the center of Alsace's the most beautiful town.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice
Cons: WiFi only around reception

9.5 Excellent
Pros: A very good, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and a most welcoming host. One of the best Chambres d'Hôtes that we have stayed in over many years.
Cons: The distance to the dining room. OK for us , but not so good if raining. This can be forgiven for all the plusses.

Pros: Great Hotel , great people, very nice location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view of the vineyards they were all around. Cross the road from a beautiful vineyard walk. 5 mins walk from historic town. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Very unfriendly staff who didn't want to serve drinks and were not even able to say goodbye when we left. Such a shame.
6.8 Good
Pros: 1) 5 min walking from the village centre 2) clean
Cons: 1) the elevator reaches only the 2nd floor: we had the room at the 3rd floor so we had to carry the luggage on the staircase. 2) the room was not smelling good: we had to leave the windows open while we were for dinner in order to get some fresh air 3) 140€ without breakfast for these level of facilities is far too expensive: for sure you pay the location and the fact was August. The fair price would have been 70/80€.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was in a very good location a minute drive from the old city and with very nice view of the wine route. breakfast was very good and the hotel had an indoor swimming pool. The TV in the room had no English channels at all.
Cons: I think the room was a bit outdated with the furniture but was comfortable. In the standard double room there was no fridge to keep cold drinks which was a must in the hot weather we had , we had to ask to move to another room and add the extra money to have a fridge. As I said before No English channels on TV.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location - short walk into the centre and right opposite vineyard. Big car park, lovely room with a balcony overlooking the vines. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Great having a swimming pool as it was very hot. Loved the informative selection of vines bordering the car park. Good idea.
Cons: Not all the staff were particularly friendly. The woman who was usually on reception was ok but another blonde woman who did reception and sometimes breakfast was not even remotely friendly. One day we got back at 12.30 to find three of the staff smoking on the doorstep to the hotel. We collected our key from one of the smokers and found that our room hadn't been done. We had hung the do our room notice on the door at approximately 9am. We realise not all the rooms can be done immediately but we were really shocked when two minutes later the cleaner, who had been one of the ones on the doorstep, knocked on our door and wanted to do our room!! She knew we had only just entered our room and we thought this was a bit much. As it happened, we were only going to be ten minutes and then we were going out again. The decking area outside the breakfast room was a mess.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location of the hotel, the views of the vineyards and the proximity to the village and motorway. Room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning.
Cons: In our room the hand shower over the bath was dated and didn't work properly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Locations, parking, view
Cons: No internet connections Cheap soap Old towels
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location - 600m walk to town. Good breakfast. Comfortable room.
Cons: Some reception staff seem less than happy to be there.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Pleasant spacious room with ample storage. Everything comfortable even if some things were s little dated/tired. Fantastic value even with poor work/GBP exchange at present. Breakfast was very good too. Lots of variety on buffet. This is not a 5* hotel and does not charge as if it is ....you get what you pay for and this is definitely worth every penny.
Cons: Staff note rude but no one voluntarily greeted us e en once in 6 days. No smiles offered...no one said "did you have a good day" "isn't the weather good" or similar. This was not a language barrier as our french is adequate and we did not hear anyone else greeted either. This would make a huge difference and cost so little.

7.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Had a bath tub instead of a shower which i like better. Breakfast and dinner on location were decent.
Cons: Tv not working. AC not working. Quite hot outside when we stayed. I asked the owner if there is any AC and he simply said “No”. Carpet dirty and smelly outside the room on the hallway on the last floor.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location. Pleasant staff in the main
Cons: Very small rather tatty bathroom and bedroom. The temperature in the bedroom was extremely hot and it was impossible to sleep . It was a hot day, and the room was over 5he kitchen, which combined to make the room unbearable. I don’t think this room should be occupied in such hot weather.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious. Restaurant attached has great food. Authentic village feel.
Cons: The place is a bit kitsch but at the same time authentic
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in a small historical wine village. An authentic old house from middle ages. Family room was a 2 bedroom appartment. Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Parking was quite distant outsine of the city walls (understandable for a historical city).
5.0 Okay
Pros: We had our laptop stolen from the room. One of the staff members denied this and said it was impossible. Very difficult to lock room - you had to pull up a lever. We ate across the road and bingo, someone was in our room. The other staff member on duty was charming and apologetic.
Cons: Very dark corridors up winding corridor. Difficult to find light.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice Little place in the very center of Riquewihr. Clean Room with enough space.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a great place for 2 couples.
Cons: Being an historic building there were many different levels in the apartment. This made navigating at night more “interesting”:)
