Excellent location 50 metres from a chair lift - ski and boot hire next door.. Good size well fitted rooms with modern "designer" bathrooms. Restaurant disappointing - dinner below standard for a 4* hotel and liile other options within walking distance
Excellent rates and friendly staff. Especially off season. During the peak season (winter) the character of the hotel changes into a bustling family hotel.
Clean modern spacious ,very professional staff. Good food lovely lounge and bar Big problem was no facility to pick up guests from station 5km away and only one [very unreliable !!]taxi in village. We were not the first to complain about this serious fault .we would have been happy to pay for the service. We had to get taxi sent from puicerda 20kms away at cost of 25 euros .
Great Location. friendly helpful staff. We stayed previously with the children and the duplex apartments give great space at a good price for families
People on half board given priority at meal times which meant others treat like second class citizens and had to accept what was left. Also advert is a little misleading as it suggests that the use of the spa is included in the price whereas they actually charge each person 20€ per visit.
The hotel is well situated close to the lifts. Breakfast buffet was really good (we didn't have full board). The "spa" and pool was not so impressed and it was not included in the hotel visit. It was expensive. Not much more to do in the hotel in the evenings. Too expensive to upgrade to full board.
The location is superb. You can park outside hotel door & its only a 2 min walk to lifts/ piste. Rooms are very modern & clean.Small games room where you can play nintendo Wii (costs 5 euros per half hour to hire). Buffet breakfast is excellent - hot & cold food provided. Staff very friendly & helpful. No sky TV or wi-fi in rooms. Kitchen facilitiies very basic. No tea/coffee provided or even cups. A small washing up kit would be useful. No sofa in main room, although there was a table & chairs for 4 people. It costs 20 euros per person to use the pool/ spa area which we feel is too much, so put us off. Pool table in games room would be good.
the location of the hotel near the pista the ski That the Spa for only one hour whas costing 20 € this is normely for free
Was convenient for the skiing area and quiet. Having to pay extra for everything - parking, the safe, the pool etc.
We loved the scenery and helpful staff at the hotel. We ended up staying for 2 nights. room was hot on the first night (no AC) but staff was very willing to open sky light for 2nd night
very comfort room (Duplex), beautiful view, convenient fo family. fukk kitchen
Staff very very helpful and kind
A cosy bar
Ideal for a 2 adults + 2 children sky weekend. Breakfast was correct in quantity and quality... and free for children under 10! The noise from the air conditioning system that was in a room just in front of ours (end of the corridor, first floor... Low price rooms?)
The apartment was excellent. Spacious, clean and warm. Perfect location for skiing. And the spa is a bonus at the end of the day. We decided to pay 10 euros for a breakfast. It was very basic, the bread and rolls were not fresh and there was no hot food available. We will take advantage of the excellent apartment facilities during future visits.
Close to the ski lifts and the price of the hotel. Heated swimming pool; Lack of a bar and sitting area in the sun. Cleaning service included just making up the beds
The accommodation was excellent; warm, modern & clean - I like the fact that you pay per room rather than per person. The pool area & pool itself was not warm enough to use comfortably. The car park charge was a little expensive. There was no gym or decent restaurant on site. The approach road was v. icy & not properly gritted after snow
Close to slopes, clean, efficient check-in and room cleaned every day. Apartment was advertised as sleeps 2-4 people but not much further which gave you the impression of having 2 bedrooms, not a lounge room and a bedroom. So probably was better value accom on the mountain with breakfast included. Had to pay for access to the pool/spa even if you were a guest. Also if you have a kitchen in the apartment the very least that you would expect supplied would be a sponge and some washing up liquid....
Proximity to piste, ski school
Location close to the skii lifht, nice area and exelent for familys with jung kids, good skii shops around. The clean service is simple doesn't exist, just clean the floor but never under the bed, (plenty of dust)in 7 days do ot change the beds "cloth" and do not clean garbage collector.
The mountain location, facilities and cleanliness Receptionist was efficient but not friendly.
comfort, quiet, nice staff room temperature : extremely hot
The location and the quality of the service Difficult to find the hotel and the bad state of some facilities
Quiet surrondings There's no lunch service or a the option to buy quick food & beverages
The surroundings and location were great
Hotel Bellavista was very inexpensive. The rooms were very basic but clean. Since the hotel is located on a highway it was very noisy expecially because my room was near the front. There was no air conditioning but it was impossible to keep the windows open because of the highway traffic. Also, there were very limited electrical outlets.
Friendly staff. Wonderful pool with view over the village. Close to many different and beautiful places in the mountains. Very good price for both accomodation and meals. Our room had a very large balcony with views in two directions. The road just outside, the main road to Andorra, could be disturbing.
Good views from the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location close to town and although on the main road we were not disturbed by traffic.
The Half Pension dinner was very good The breakfast, was not buffet and it took quite some time to get a few slices of ham and cheese. The dining room was very hot.
Staff very friendly and helpful,The breakfast was first class, and the room was immaculately clean.
The central locaton to the slopes, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities for the children.
It was a very pleasant hotel and I will hapilly stay there again. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient: went out of their way to help & I could not have asked for more. It is a simple hotel but facilities worked, it was clean and friendly. Nothing - it was very pleasant.
The easy location to the pistas of la molina. The quality of the meals (dinner & Breakfast) included in the media pension. Perfect for a family stay.
Great location with good facilites. It has a games room, a couple of bars, a tv room, shower facilities if you have checked out but are leaving later in the day. The location was also great and the take away pizzas from the bar were the best! To be fair, the hotel is old and it needs renovated. I would say it is over priced considering the need for a refit.
Friendly staff throughout hotel.
We stayed at the Hotel last year and think that it is a wonderful improvement. We are very impressed and had a fantastic break.
Great for families with kids. Lots of entertainment available. Convenient as well, as they can provide everything (ski passes, gear, lessons, etc). Close to main telecabin (5 mins walk) Service could be faster. One day the maid forgot to leave bath towels in the room and it took the staff over one hour to replace them. It would also be good if the dining room could have reserved tables for larger groups.
Nice. close to ski slopes.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very aware of changes on the ski slopes. other guest were noisey. Easy to hear noise in the rooms.
Very helpful and resourceful staff made the stay very comfortable. The free private parking at the slopes is very convenient.
We stayed in the hotel for four days, after lovely breakfast we went skiing, then playing table tennis, exercising in the gym, relaxing in the sauna and ten enjoying delicious dinner... no!!!
The staff at this hotel cannot do enough for you. The atmosphere is very friendly and the style of the hotel is rustic and relaxed. The food in the evening was excellent. At the end of our stay, I forgot my keys and they immediately posted them on to me. What a hotel should be like.
Good family hotel with very friendly and serviceminded staff. Nice and cosy morning and dinner restaurant with good mountain buffet.
The hotel is very good. Great team, great food, really beyond our expectations. We stayed there for 4 nights, to ski in La Molina. The rooms are confortable, according to a 3 star hotel, but the service was perfect (like a five star). They took care of every small detail, even when it was not their responsibility.
Staff were helpful and friendly Not being told that a booking was necessary for the spa. The spa needs to be able to cater for more people. The room was very cold. The tile floor was freezing and had no coverings The room was noisy, and could hear every word from the people next door. Having to pay for the room at check in is not acceptable and no receipt was offered. The hot water was only lukewarm.
clean and modern. Good food.
The staff at the restaurant and front desk were very nice and helpful. They were very accommodating for breakfast when I needed to leave earlier than 0800 several days. Location is a bit far from anything. It's on the side of a mountain about 5 minutes drive (20 minute walk up hill) from the nearest shops or restaurants.
Rest and Snowboarding,, Excelent place at 5 minutes from the ski lift
breakfast was good value and staff were very friendly room was spartan and very basic - - hotel was over a mile from piste - had to drive - nothing else close to a walking distance
I like the atmosphere and the staff'. It was very plasent and comfortable to stay there/ The location at your sait is wrong it have to be: 42.34364n 1.95019e for the gps
Large clean comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Mountain view. Excellent free Wifi throughout hotel. This is a Ski hotel that we used out of season at a reduced rate. Because of the reduced rate it was acceptable for our overnight stop. There are few hotels in this area. However, we do not recommend that you use the restaurant at the hotel. Our experience was that this huge hotel, was only filled to a small capacity by the overnight stop of a Spanish coach trip. We assume also using an out of season rate. Our meal in the restaurant was effectively us being tacked on the the end of the mass budget self service catering supplied to the coach trip. The food was unimpressive, low quality and overcooked. The choice was extremely limited. ( Poor cut of beef or Quail) The service was too fast. The house wine almost undrinkable.
It is a pretty village, easy to find, and not too far from ski slopes. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished. Staff are friendly and a good continental breakfast is provided.
warm and helpful welcome, within striking distance of ski resorts
small hotel, run by owners. Rooms exellent. Owners allways on site if required.Local knowledge good.No on site parking, but free parking nearby. Small village .
Helpfulness of owner. Spoke and understood english. Able to advise on area. Hotel is exceptionally clean and well decorated. On arrival the room we had booked which was the Junior Suite which said there was a seperate bedroom from the main bedroom/lounge. What is failed to explain was that this bedroom is only suitable for children as beds are only 2 foot 6 inches wide. Therefore we had to be offered alernative rooms which was lucky to be avaThere was no hot water on both mornings we stayed at the hotel. This was put down to the solar system. Once the boiler had been put on there was plenty of hot water. This is the only downside of the hotel. Outside of the hotel there was a lot of road works and many of the surroundings roads. Therefore after rainfall the roads are very muddy..
The room hwas nicely decorated and had a large window that opened over the town to view the mountain. Incredible view. Good breakfast and great value. We would have tried to stay another night but already had reservations in Girona. Would like to go back sometime.
very friendly hosts and elegant interiors. Excellent breakfast. We loved the hotel, but be warned, outside the season Alp does not have any decent restaurant to eat in, so trip to Puigcerda is almost a necessity.
Beautiful Bedrooms, very clean and Secure Car Parking
Warm welcome - excellent, no fuss service. Great breakfast, excellent coffee! The hotel rooms were very warm -
As mentioned above the hotel was listed several different times on your site and although the hotel was much as we expected - there were no nasty surprises, we didn't know from your website whether to expect a 2 star or a 3 star place as you had it listed as both
The hotel was on the outskirts of a village and in a good location to drive to La Molina and Puigcerda The service in the restaurant was not particulary friendly and we left early on the Monday morning (7.30am) but they refused to leave out any breakfast - not even hot water for a cup of tea!!!
Staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was good, the view was excellent from the room, swimming pool was a bonus. Enjoyed the stay very much.
Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant, good standard fo hygiene Not the hotel but the area, very limited with regards to eating out, places to go etc
Very friendly staff as well as a fantastic view of pool and mountains from our balcony. The room also had a fridge and the breakfast included was fantastic! The place is very very hard to get to without a car, and the cabs are very very expensive. The water pressure in the shower wasnt very good.
The sight of the landscape from our balcony There was no or incorrect information over hotelservices (opening hours restaurant, operating TV, wake up calls etc) in an other language than Catalan or Spanish
Hotel Staff, Restaurant, Location, Room.
great room-great restaurant
Friendly Hotel No coffee facilities during the day
Great place to relax, Swimming pool, Value for the money; everything was great! Truly recommended.
We liked the old wooden floors We couldn't get the keys because the hotel in reality was closed. It took us over an hour to get in, and nobody spoke anything but spanish un the phone. The restaurant was also closed, and in our opinion, they should have recommanded another hotel, and told us, that the hotel was closed, instead of havning your booking write us, that we could pick up the keys in a shop, that first opened at 17 pm.
Old, traditional building in a nice small town. Center location, ideal for hiking, skiing, trekking or just relaxing. Charming, old furniture and decoration. The restaurant is really good with catalan specialties and local people. A bit difficult to find in the town.
