Pros: Lovely property, great location, breakfast and hosts. No complaints.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostess was very welcoming, spoke English which facilitated our stay with ease; room and facilities spotlessly clean and up to date; lovely veranda and spectacular view, generous Italian style or North American choice for breakfast. quiet ... really, a splendid stay and enjoyed the local towns.
Cons: There is nothing that was not agreeable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great host and lovely views. Savoury breakfast was delicious
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is one of a kind. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The owners - very nice, hospitable and helpful. We arrived very late in the evening but nothing seemed to be a problem. Rosalba and her mother are fantastic hosts. She helped us with the dinner reservation, with the reservation of the place in the beach (she made for us possible to enter with the little dog). The breakfasts were great. Though the adjacent surrounding area is a little messy - the place is a gem, with its ambience and comfort. The place is a great base point to see the surrounding area. I got to say that Maratea's beaches, the statue of the Christ - it all makes impression. It is beautiful there. We liked the place, we hope to come back one day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent family owned B&B on a beautifully winding road along spectacular coastal scenery. Fantastic breakfast, with lots of homemade marmalade done by mama from the fruits of the actual trees you can touch from the breakfast terrace. Very nice room, huge bathroom, good shared facilities. Great restaurant (da Cesare) around he corner. Great swimming cove even closer.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is the fantastic place to stay in Tropea. The owners and the hostess Rosa were very helpful, flexible and hospitable. They treated us with great care. We had some problems at the beginning (our car was too big to park at the reserved parking) but they found the solution immediately. They do not have word "no" in their dictionary. The place is situated in the fantastic place. Everything is near. It makes time in Tropea a great pleasure. The breakfasts were very good. We hope to return there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room in a fabulous location. Very comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. We had the room with the large private patio and loved sitting there with delightful views; it's worth the small extra expense. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade jams for breakfast.
Cons: We would stay here again without hesitation but be advised that other than 1 restaurant (pretty good), there is nothing else within walking distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and great room.

Pros: The location was picked because of our travelling plans and was ok, it happens that the views are marvelous

Cons: Only issue was the WiFi not being able to reach the room- which would have been fine but there was poor cell phone reception as well. Apart from that it was a lovely stay!

Pros: Very friendly host and superbly presented room and bathroom. Great breakfast with yummy pastries.
Cons: Could hear people talking in the breakfast room from our room as right next door, but that was well before we went to sleep so not really an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An absolutely lovely property in a gem of a place.
Cons: It was ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, central in the town and a very short 2 min walk from the historic centre. The property itself has been renovated to an excellent standard and was spotlessly clean. Christina was exceptionally helpful, friendly and always responded promptly to emails. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and wish we could have stayed for longer.
Cons: No complaints at all

There is a private bathroom with bidet and a hairdryer in each unit, along with free toiletries. An Italian breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hostess and amazing view and huge taste breakfast. A fantastic stay - highly recommend! Hostess is discreet but completely available if needed. Google maps is quite difficult - suggest that you call from the parking of the (excellent) restaurant located just above the house. Small semi-private beach cove and the hostess has a great sense of humour - even with our poor spoken Italian.
Cons: Honestly just a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maria went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable. Even more so when i was not feeling vey well and made cups of tea. Thank you very much Maria
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent host, very comfortable stay, beach is 5 min walk from the property.
Cons: everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Like staying with family. Maria is the best host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was amazing. Location was amazing with 2 beaches a short walk away (both beaches were quiet with great snorkelling). Breakfast was a perfect start to each day. Very quiet location with amazing views.
Cons: Finding the place is a bit tricky as google maps doesn't recognise the road getting too it. The host offered to come meet us at the main road so we could follow her to the place, but this was lost in translation as we spoke no Italian (our problem! She was overly helpful).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and great hospitality. A good filling breakfast eaten to the sound of the sea. Good coastal walks.
Cons: Narrow drive way but host picked us up. Parking at nearby restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maria was so welcoming and it is clear that her guests are her top priority . From assisting us with our luggage to ensuring that everything was in place for a comfortable stay. Our room overlooked the sea and it was very restful listening to the waves. Having stayed in other b&bs we can say that the breakfasts at Zia Yaya consisted of a much more generous choice such as plentiful fruit, yoghurts, bread, eggs and bacon, bruschetta, croissants, ham and cheese, cake etc. etc.
Cons: Access down to the b&b was a bit tricky as not well sign posted. The entry point down from the main road can easily be identified by the three road safety mirrors on the opposite side of the road. It is accessible by car but the drive is not for the faint hearted especially if in a hired vehicle! However any disadvantage was completely neutralised by Maria’s enthusiastic help aided by a member of her family. 10/10 rating
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was exceedingly accommodating and very friendly. Breakfast was a feast. Eggs, bacon, pastries, homemade preserves...lemon and orange marmalade and fresh honey, fresh fruit....and much more. The room was very comfortable, well appointed and clean with a nice view of the sea. There is a clifftop path for hiking to some very nice view points. Shower was a good size with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Also there is private terrace outside your door.

Pros: Breakfast on the terrace was excellent, we really enjoyed it. It was also an easy walk to a good local restaurant that served great local food.
Cons: The wifi in the room was poor but sitting on the deck sorted that. Also our small under powered car struggled to get up the steep driveway when it was wet. Finally had to take a run at it to get out!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is lovely. There is a beautiful garden, sea view, and very nice hosts. The breakfast was delicious featuring fresh fruit, juice, coffee, yoghurt, scrambled egg, and pastries. The room was fantastic. We decided the bathroom has the best shower of all the properties we stayed in Campania, Apulia, Calabria, and Basilicata. The bed was comfortable and the sitting room and patio furniture were much appreciated.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The property looked just like the photos to me. A little hard to find as it is down very quiet road but just read the numbers of the houses and you should find it. I loved the property, it was extremely cute, quaint, cosy, and felt like a rustic home. the beaches are only 5 minutes walking and almost empty and incredibly nice. And coffee during a day was very nice. Wi-fi was good everywhere. The location is great, walking to the railway station is about 7 min, to the port and a small nice beach 10-15 min. The place is unbelievable beautiful! Special thanks and warm wishes to Valentina for hospitality!! I strongly recommend the B&B to spend holyday!
Cons: Nothing. I have enjoyed staying in the B&B and Maratea!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our recent stay at Valentina’s B&B. It was a pity we were only there for one night. We would love to have stayed longer. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. Valentina has put much thought into the decor. The bathroom is excellent. It was spotlessly clean and has a very good sized shower. The water pressure is good and there was plenty of hot water. The towels were large and fluffy, some of the best we've had on our 5 weeks travelling. Our room had a lovely view of the port below. There is also a nice shared terrace area for relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and varied with a nice selection of fresh fruits and juices, cereals, yoghurts, bread, croissants, and good coffee. The homemade marmalade was delicious. The location is quiet with no street noise and is very safe. The parking is easy and directly out the front. Yes there are steps but this is clearly explained in the description on the booking site. Don’t like steps, this accommodation is not for you. Communications with Valentina were great. She was quick to respond, reliable and very professional. Although her English is basic we had no problem communicating with her. In fact, she went out of her way to get a translation for us to explain why the WiFi wasn't working. There was some sort of network outage (there was a thunderstorm). Valentina clearly takes pride in presenting her B& B to its’ full potential. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Valentina was very helpful, arranging transport to and from the nearby railway station. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. The friendliness and the setting were delightful
Cons: A lot of steps up to the house, our host helpfully assisted with the suitcases. We were fine but some people may find it difficult and should be aware at booking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful place. The views were amazing. The room was spacious, really comfortable, everywhere was really clean. The owners of the B&B were wonderful. We were invited to join them for a drink on the terrace when we came back from our evening meal. Breakfast was great. Easy parking and bars and restaurants within walking distance, but you have quite a few steps to walk back up the hill.
Cons: Everything was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome and the hospitality continued. Breakfast was delightful. Wonderful outlook for an evening drink on the terrace. Only a short drive to historic Maratea.
Cons: Not to be too critical, the directions to the B&B could have been clearer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly. The view was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic, the owner had baked a cake specially, it was delicious.
Cons: It would have been very difficult to improve on anything about this beautiful place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome vibes, decorated in a marine theme that seems to clearly reflect the family's passion for the sea. Our room was beautiful, clean, the porch was amazing both garden wise and view wise, and there is an amazing, almost private beach that you could walk down to in about 7 minutes. On the "main" road 5 mins walk there's also one of the best restaurants we visited in Italy, De Cesare. The family was welcoming and kind, breakfast was tailored to our wishes and delicious. Off season also offers the perks of near total privacy. The place is not actually located in Maratea itself but 10 mins drive before it, although honestly after having been to the town I think it's really not that interesting and the greatest attraction is actually the exact place where we stayed.
Cons: The only small matter is the trains passing by every 30 minutes or so and interrupting the quiet, even at night, but not significantly enough as to pass on this wonderful stay. Mind you that the payment is cash only.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: great breakfast, very nice & caring hosts, great view from the common terrace. The beds was comfortable. If you want to visit, reckon that the driveway to the B&B is very narrow and steep (but managable).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant in the hotel was fabulous and Maria's suggestions for what was fresh we're fantastic.
Cons: The weather but not in their control.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is beautiful for people who seek rest and want to admire the magnificent coast line of Cersuta. Our room and bathroom were very clean with a big balcony with sea view. Hosts Sonia and Biagio are very warm, friendly people. Cersuta is a good base to explore Maratea, the Marina of Maratea and other nearby places, provided you have your own car.
Cons: Cersuta is a small village and you need a car to get around, also to get to the supermarket. One restaurant is walking distance (seafood). The coast line at Cersuta is gorgeous, ideal for people who just want to swim and admire the nature, then rest at La Torreta’s balcony. For serviced beaches (sunbed, umbrella etc) we went by car to Acquafredda.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful panoramic views from front of property, lovely outside places to sit. Easy five minute walk into village , with several eating places. Owner very friendly despite no English. Good parking area next to house.
Cons: Ten minute drive down to the sea, via narrow winding roads., not really walkable. Think we’d got our heads around the route(s) by day three! Our room looked out through a staircase, in use, so couldn’t open curtains or window properly without impacting privacy. Would have been nice to be able to access garden more easily from house later in the evening. Small gripe: would have been nice to have proper glasses for breakfast juice instead of disposable plastic cups.

Pros: location was just perfect! Mountain & sea view ❤️ rooms have been tidy, clean and well maintained. Staff friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a good sized room that was clean and tidy. Very colourful that’s for sure and a little bit dated but great for our one night stay. The property’s grounds were lovely and it was very relaxing sitting outside watching the sunset. You do need to have a car to get here and you can’t just walk into to town for dinner as it is a steep walk. Great that there is parking onsite. Even though we didn’t speak Italian and our hostess didn’t speak English she made us feel welcome.
Cons: Due to the language barrier breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Scrambled eggs came out as very runny fried eggs. But our hostess tried to understand us. Our fault for not being able to communicate. Location, while very picturesque, wasn’t as close to town as we would have like. This place is perfect for a longer stay, not a quick overnighter. Kitchen was locked overnight so we were unable to get wine glasses or wash up plates we used. We were also unable to walk through to the lovely outdoor area and had to go back out the front door to walk around. Not a big thing but we had our dinner, drinks etc to carry.

Pros: Good location to walk to town, spotlessly clean and quiet. Parking at front of apartment and breakfast included.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Lovely b&b and great hosts.
Cons: A bit far from the beach, however the resort is spotless with a gorgeous view. Clean and very it places to sit. Breakfast very good too!

6.7 Good
Pros: Guiseppe and Maria were very kind, friendly people. Coffee and Owner's homemade jam were good ! Close to Maratea .
Cons: our quad room had totally out-dated, old furniture, beds and decor. Couch cushions had visible stains. 1st day of our 2 nite stay had no internet password or bath soap available to us, so no wifi for 1st day. No toilet paper holders - just two half-rolls sitting atop a heater. tiny shower extremely frustrating to use . No meat, cheese or eggs at all for breakfast. Room had no view at all-- only a front door that looked out to an unsightly, grey concrete driveway.

Pros: We loved this place! As in low-season, we were the only guests. Peace and quiet. Cozy, tasteful decoration and furnishing, sparkling clear, so comfy bed, great bathroom. Each guest room has a separate entrance and small outdoor terrace. Nice garden, views! The hospitality of Signora Maria - at the highest grade! Grazie mille! :))

Pros: On arrival we were greeted by the host and despite the fact she spoke no English she had a huge smile on her face and a very welcoming personality. She got someone to translate the basic information and then showed us our room - large and very comfy with our own bathroom and little outdoor space. For dinner she took us to her restaurant where we had a lovely 2 course meal and drinks for around €50. In the morning she provided breakfast out on the terrace with fresh fruit, croissants and coffee. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a taste of the authentic Italian life!

Pros: Staying at B&B Blanda is like staying at your favourite Nonna's house. We had a pleasant room with a comfy bed and charming little touches like embroidered towels. Maria was an exceptional hostess who provided a breakfast more like a banquet with fresh fruit from the garden, home made jams and baked goods. Parking is available on site and the location is tranquil and picturesque.

Pros: Every aspect, as soon as we arrived we were made very welcome with coffee and biscotti, introduced to family and friends. We can speak some Italian but if you couldn't it could be a little difficult (a English/Italian dictionary could be handy). Generally we had a wonderful time with such lovely people.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: It was the best hotel in Italy for us. The breakfasts were homemade and unreal tasty. The hotel owners surrounded us with care, kindness 24/7, helped in all situations - from transfer to car rental. We felt at home. It's just a stunning B & B. Perfect service and a great place

Pros: If looking for a quieter alternative to busy parts of the Amalfi Coast, a stay in Aquafredda/Maratea is perfect. And the B&B Nonna Vincenza is in an equally perfect, stunning location, a few hundred metres from the station and 2 fabulous beaches (Spiaggia Grotta della Scala and Spiaggia Porticello). Rooms are clean, with a/c and Italo who runs the B&B prepares a good breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Italo was also very accommodating - he even supplied an iron to press my shirt before a wedding in close-by Maratea! Highly recommended!
Cons: Nothing at all! Highly recommended if staying in the area!

Pros: Great stay in a quite little town. A couple of restaurants in close walking distance. Italo was very friendly and accommodating, even went to buy us fresh milk as soon as he heard we don't drink the UHT milk. Also have us a small gift on departure.

Pros: Perfect location, very friendly helpful staff, beautiful pool and grounds, and excellent, abundant breakfast.
Cons: Rooms were small.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect, the view is nice (but no sea view) The Service parking is very useful. The staff is helpful to give advices for the region
Cons: The room was for sure ok in 1980... but not in 2019. Bathroom is not confortable. Frames on the wall don't match the hotel style. The breakfast is not so good for the price per night ( juice are not fresh, no real fresh bread, just two kinds of cheese cut in small cubes). The bell of the church is active during the night every 15 minutes. The value for money is weak... For me 60-70 euro would be a fair price.

Pros: Lovely views, very comfortable room and staff very keen to help.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast and pool
Cons: Location and too many stairs both at hotel and getting to town
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel with friendly staff just 5 minutes uphill walk from the main square. We had a room upgrade on arrival so not sure how big the booked room would have been. The upgraded room was a nice size. The pool area is lovely (as it is in the pictures). They park your car for you when you first arrive and fetch it when you check out. In between times you park it yourself in their barrier controlled car park and walk up some steps. We were there towards the end of the season so not sure how busy it gets in peak season. Good views over the town, little gardens and sitting rooms in maze like hotel
Cons: We learnt that they have an arrangement with a private beach (inc a bus option), but it had ended by the time we arrived in September so we had to drive ourselves. Its didn't matter to us, but if you were expecting it it could be an issue. Also they have closed their restaurant (all season) except for lunchtime snacks. Its not really an issue because there are several restaurants in the town, but if you were expecting to eat dinner there, you can't. Those were my only quibbles and as I say they didn`t bother us.

Pros: The hotel itself with the personalised feel of the interior was wonderful. The best pool in its location! The gardens around all beautifully maintained.
Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was an amazing place to stay. The view from the hotel wonderful. The pool and bar area very clean and relaxing. A selection of small dishes for lunch. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We dined just down off the village square. Fabulous!
Cons: Bathroom (especially the shower) needed updating
