Samoset Resort is a luxury resort that sits on the coast of Maine. Its expansive 230 acres are on the water, overlooking the beautiful Penobscot Bay. This resort has origins that go back to 1889.
Since its original opening, the Samoset Resort has been through several changes of ownership, a closing, and has burnt down. It’s now a gorgeous, luxurious resort that has been patronized by guests that include celebrities and politicians. Guests have the choice to stay within the hotel in rooms or suites, or they can choose to stay in one of the hotel’s Maine cottages, for a more private stay.
Guests can eat at La Bella Vita for delicious Italian cuisine. Then have a cocktail at Enoteca Lounge, which has the feel of an Italian wine bar. In the warmer months of the year, there’s the Splash Pool Bar and the Clubhouse Grill for eating and drinking also. For those who want to eat in their rooms, room service is available.
The Samoset Resort does feature a spa with massages, skin care essentials, and body treatments. Guests who visit in the summer and warm weather months of the year can enjoy golfing on the championship golf course on the property. Families can have fun playing in the Ultimate Backyard and swimming in the pool. Winter guests can go skiing, sledding, and tubing, or hang out at the Glacier Ice Bar.
The Samoset Resort is situated on a large waterfront property along the coast of Maine. Guests can visit in the summer for tons of outdoor activities with beautiful scenery to accent their adventures, or visit a winter wonderland that’s full of snow sports, cozy fires, and warm cocktails.
