The location was good The room was clean.
The restaurant closes at 11 PM We arrived late to the hotel and we were hungry but nothing to eat
Our stay wasn't so much pleasant at first but there was one concierge staff I guess her name was Gaida stepped in and solved everything. The is amazing!
Great balcony, very spacious and cozy, friendly and helpful stuff, good breakfast.
After 11pm not possible to order tea or coffee in the room. there is no kettle in the room, so you cant make your own tea or coffee, also after 11pm not possible to order those from room service. They brought hot water and a tea selection, though, so it was fine.
The hotel has upgraded us to a junior suite or suite (with a table and 4 chairs and sofa). My friend's room has a small kitchen. We originally booked a superior double room. The hotel is on via Veneto, hence very good location.
The services of the hotel does not meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. The staff are not efficient. The restaurant recommendation is bad. It charges 5 euro for a pot of hot water. The staff doesn't even bring the pot inside my room. I have to carry the pot by one hand and to sign the bill by another hand. The coffee making machine in the room doesn't work.
Absolutely loved our stay at this amazing hotel. Rooms are gorgeous. Staff is super helpful. Lovely and friendly - ready to assist with anything you want. The area is amazing - opposite the American Embassy - very safe and nice to walk around. Less than 10 mins walk from The Spanish Steps and the fashion high street if you feel like dropping some serious cash. We booked this place last minute because we weren't satisfied with our initial hotel in Rome and so this was a lovely alternative. Made our stay in this city very memorable.
With a stay at Grand Hotel Palace, you'll be centrally located in Rome, steps from Via Veneto and 6 minutes by foot from Villa Borghese. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in.
