Can't beat the location, only a few minutes walk from Rome train station, however, this was one of the worst nights I've ever stayed in a hotel. Our window faced an unsecured inner courtyard, which was used by indigents throughout the night. They were talking/yelling right next to our window on the first floor. There was nobody at the hotel front desk to raise the concern to. My wife was frightened, and neither of us slept. We had arranged a taxi with a nice lady at the front desk when we checked in, but the taxi did not arrive at the hotel on time, and we had to call an Uber. Luckily we could be on time for our flight. When we left the hotel at 7:30am, there was nobody at the front desk and we had to use our room key to unlock the front door of the hotel. After arrival back in the states, I sent numerous emails (in English and Italian) to the hotel to ask for some compensation, but these have gone unanswered.

Cons:THE MATTRESS!! I get the hotel is a budget one but the mattress is like the worst nightmare ever, all your back will hurt the day after. Proximity to the termini: The block around the hotel is nasty, dirty, full of gypsis and black gentlemans gangs. The room was not clean enough
