Location was good for the airport
2 reasons I booked: 'Family Room' for my wife myself and our two children, and the airport shuttle...Family Room was a joke; one bed and a cot for the 4 of us. Airport shuttle didn't run until 8am...which for many travelers is not sufficient. Pool closed at 4pm on a Saturday for a private function?!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Made us feel like special guests even with two large conventions on the property
They have a tub an sink in one bathroom and a shower WC with sink in another the shower stall on this one is small and a bit uncomfortable, other widse que room is ok, I would prefer hard floor than rug in the room.
Rome option out of the way
Hotel itself is very nice inside from the lobby to the restaurant and rooms. Staff is accommodating as they can be.
The property nickel and dimes you for everything! No vending machines so everything must be bought from the bar. Shuttle schedules are not super convenient and you pay for each one you go on, which is essential because they property is not close to the city.
Convenient to airport for departure flight
Food was good, just wish there was a broader selection
Overall, a wonderful experience
The hotel lobby is large and quite beautiful, with ample seating. A bar and restaurant also share the large, open space. The room was nice and clean - no complaints. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor pool.
The hotel is a 20-25 minute drive from the center of Rome, which makes it somewhat inconvenient for people visiting the Vatican or other religious or historic sites. It would have been nice to return to the room mid-day, but it ended up being fine. I noticed someone else commented that the shuttle is unreliable. That was not our experience at all. We took the shuttle to the city center (a five minute walk from the entrance to St. Peter's Square) almost every day for a week and had absolutely no issues. The shuttle tickets 10€ per person round trip, and must be pre-arranged with the concierge. They will bill them to the room, which is convenient. This is substantially less expensive than a taxi, which will run approx. 25-30€ each way. We also took the hotel's shuttle to Fiumicino without any problems at all.
All of it...
Party one night that was a bit loud.
