When visiting Rome, Sunrise Inn and Suites is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily.
Pros: Quietness. Could not hear the people next door. The A/C was awesome and kept the room very cool. Plenty of water pressure and hot water for relaxing shower.
Cons: The website advertised an outdoor pool. That was a selling point when I was shopping for hotels. We wanted some pool time. However, the pool was closed & covered. The clerk stated 'it cost to much to open & maintain'. Please update Website.

Cons: Although the bed and bathroom were clean, there was a musty smell which was unpleasant. In fact the front door was open when we got to the room, possibly to let some air in. New floor covering needed to freshen up.
Pros: I loved being able to park in front of my room, no breakfast, but plenty of places nearby, owner was very helpful!!!

Pros: There was gum on the head board. The carpet was filthy. The water came out BROWN. Smelled of cigarettes. The sheets had a stain that looked like it wouldn't come out and the towels were 80 grit paper. No one picked up the trash and they took the towels
Cons: The pool was closed. Enjoyed the view of the giant refrigerator conveniently located in the center of the room. The semi cool AC unit. And the industrial toilet was nice and thumb tacks all over the walls

I was not pleased with our stay at this motel at all. I will not be staying again. Even the Rome Motel is better than this one. Run down, pool was cloudy, very stingy with towels and breakfast was pathetic. Breakfast consisted of nasty coffee, no sugar, 5 small bite size bagels and 4 pieces of white bread laid out uncovered. Disgusting.

Cons: The breakfast was pathetic, the coffee was awful. The office staff was rude and very nosey. The maids spoke no English and were lazy. I ended up just keeping the room clean myself after the first time.
This is a very budget friendly, older hotel property and well-suited for a brief one to two night stay.
Pros: This hotel is conveniently located near Berry College and has reasonable rates.
Cons: Water stains on bathroom ceiling.
