Service is the key, not one unpleasnt encounter. If traveling with small kids they take very good care of you.
The beds are comfy.. Wife made me buy the same pillows when got home.
The hotel is really one of the best I have been staying at. Very classic atmosphere, mostly attended by international guests, it has been founded by the same Mr. Ritz of the Paris hotel, it is now an historical palace of Rome. Service, food, clealiness, rooms decor etc. is really superb and , although not a cheap hotel, it really pays off for the money you spend there. Definetly recommended.
Absolutely nothing to mention
The St Regis is an exquisite luxury experience which places the visitor within walking distance of some of the most fabulous shops, antiquities and dining opportunities in the world.
There was nothing I did not like.
The friendly profesional of the staff, excellent restaurant and guide recommendations, nothing was too much trouble for everyone and hotel's location was excellent. we would stay there again.
It was a shame there was no some outdoor space and pool but this did not spoil our experience.
We had come from 2 week stays at the 4 Seasons Milano and Firenze. This hotel was NOTHING compared to these hotels. The service in the bar/dining area was poor - slow and forgot items ordered. Extremely poor system of baggage handling on check-in. "Lost" a bag but later found.
