The location of the hotel was excellent about 10 mins walk to Spanish Steps where a lot of shopping can be done. About 10 mins walk to the closest train station although most of the main tourist sites can be done on foot such as Pantheon (10-15 mins), Colosseum (20mins). Very quiet given location. Staff were polite, breakfast staff were especially helpful but the manager was a bit abrupt. As we stayed there for 5 nights the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Superior Double room instead of a Standard Double. However, the room was on the 2nd floor, just below the breakfast area so we could hear footsteps all morning from about 6:30am. We requested a different room the next day that wasn't below the breakfast area so were downgraded back to a standard room on the 1st floor. This room was very quiet with no view of the street but unfortunately it had old cigarette smell that lingered in the room although it is now a non-smoking room. Luckily I had a cold during the rest of the stay so the smell did not affect me as much as it would have otherwise!
This has to be the best location in Rome! We easily walked to everything. Yet the room was quiet and comfortable right across from the crowds at the Trevi Fountain. The whole hotel seems to be upholstered in lovely fabrics. Breakfast on the balcony was wonderful. They also gave us an upgrade into the main building. There are lots of stairs to negotiate if this is a problem. The staff is wonderful in carrying luggage however.
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast every morning was very good. The location was prime for sightseeing! Would definitely stay here again!! nothing.
The location would be perfect if the fountain was not under construction from Aug 2014-Mid-2015. This was not mentioned anywhere and was a HUGE disappointment when we arrived. The hotel itself was nice enough - we were in the suite upstairs which was oddly shaped because of the roof/eaves, but had a private terrace, which was great. If the fountain was full and working, this would have been the best stay on our trip.
Nothing., My husband and I specifically booked this hotel as part of our 25th anniversary celebration trip to Italy. With three days notice, this hotel informed our booking agent that they had OVER BOOKED and had to then reject our reservation. Seriously not impressed, especially as since when we visited the hotel to see it for ourselves, the gentleman at reception was extremely flippant. This put a big kink and a bit of panic in our itinerary.
Staff was the most professional & helpful that I've encountered. I would stay again for that reason alone! The bathroom, No bath tub & the electric pump was annoying
Location and helpfulness of staff The shower was a bit small
The hotel is very central. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of noise late at night given the hotel faces on to the square (but it was not too bad).
Linda at reception was super friendly and helpful! Thanks to her I did and saw everything I wanted in the short time I was there :)
The location was great. In the heart of all the places I wanted to see. The bed sucked. Although all the beds in Italy are hard and uncomfortable.
This was an excellent hotel. I would stay there again and would definitely refer others.
Fantastic location - Trevi Fountain on your door step and within walking distance of major attractions. Good breakfast (hot and cold selection) and friendly staff.
From the location, to cleanliness, to customer service. I will give this hotel 12 out of 10! I feel safe as it is a secured building and the front desk was so welcoming and willing to help us. The room was clean and within walking distance everywhere Nothing at all, besides the modern looking toilet seat is quite uncomfortable... it's a square shape toilet....
Staff.. Location. And cleanness.
My bed was quite comfortable and I liked the close proximity to the Piazza Navona. The staff, when available, were always very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed (beautiful view of the Chiesa Gesu and furniture) For the price, it would have been nice to have a 24 hour desk. It was a tad difficult to find from the street and access to the elevator for check-in was limited. The walls between rooms were thin. My room was close to the reception so could get noisy.
Everything was perfect! Very good position of the hotel for tourists.
The location, it was in a central location and we were able to walk to most of the sites. It was also close to the stops where the buses are.
good welcome providing interesting, information, excellent location, comfortable but small rooms, excellent staff, quiet in the middle of town
Rooftop restaurant is very nice for breakfast and evening drinks before going out. Well located to pop back in the evening to change for dinner or catch an hours rest before going out for the night. Clean, if small, bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. Tea making facilities were good. Staff were very helpful. Nice touch to have water and cups by bed at night. Air conditioning a bonus. Beds were a little hard. Light duvets would be nicer than blankets. No spare pillows in wardrobe. TV was small and wall mounting would make for easier viewing. No mini bar.
Location and convenience. Rooftop bar very pleasant.
location was amazing, very central, very clean exactly what we wanted no
Location close to all attractions. Three great restaurants close by.Rooftop garden. Fast check in and out. excellent breakfast.
Closer to the Vatican
location of the hotel
situation, aesthetics, staff, room One night person was less helpful re internet access. Actually I think he just didn't have the right knowledge/training. Otherwise the hotel staff were absolutely excellent.
Location was great No Iron
People are very nice and do anything to accomodate you. Location of the hotel is just on San Peter Plazza. Internet is free in the room. breakfast is great. The day of our departure, it was too early for them so they prepare a breakfast in a pack for us to take-out. The taxi they selected was in advance. It was a wonderful time to stay in this hotel.
the location, if you wanna be close to vatican this hotel is literally in vatican, very clean, service is good breakfast is nice, and the terrace with view of vatican is spectacular specially at night, it makes yo feel you are still inside of st peter square. free internet and very easy connection ia also a plus. nothing
The location was great, literally next to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. The breakfast was great with meat, eggs, breads, etc. The room was small, somewhat austere. The pictures show a terrace with a city view, but you couldn't really go out on it, it was gated off.
Location, staff, professional courtesies, public spaces, rooms, breakfasts, snacks and late evening, late summer drinks on their quite amazing patio. No.
Excelent location with view to San Pietro, beautiful terrace, very good service, nice staff
it has very central location
good location too small rooms
location is perfect
Loved the location to all things in rome! Bus stop right at the front door for St. Peters and a 24 hour bakery with coffee bar downstairs. several nice restaurants in general area and a short walk to panthenon and trevi. the colleseum and forum are a short walk away. The noise from the street is noticable, but we used the tv which was only in italian as white noise and did not have a problem sleeping as we were exhaused when we came in. The bathroom as noted by other travelers is small, the toilet is close to the 1/2 bathtub so would not be good for large people, but there was plenty of hot water and we had no problems and found it adequate for our needs
Very close to all of the historical sites The lack of air conditioning in the room. It worked great in the lobby.
A well located hotel with attractively decoratated common areas and a nice lift The rooms were so small. Bathrooms even smaller. To describe our room as a 'Superior Double' was to misrepresent the room on 2 counts. It was neither superior, nor double. Then there is the matter of the 24 hour smell of baking donoughts from the bakery below, the lack of hot water, the heating system that didnt work............
location was the only best thing!! extreme ultra small room with cramped bathroom. no breakfast.
The location was incredible! It is literally at the Piazza Venezia. The bus stop is right outside the door (easy access from the Termini station). The Trevi fountain; and Colloseum are real close. Staff did not seem to know the new computer system very well, so the checkin and checkout took some time.
Location location location, also featured every amenity we required, such as a bathroom and shower. Room safe didn't work
the only good thing the hotel has to offer is it's location this was without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever been to. the rooms were extremely small and dark, with hardly any air coming in. half the time there was no hot water to take a shower. the worst part was the toilet - the water was'nt running well down the toilet. twice they told us they had fixed it when the actualy did nothing, and only when it got impossible to stay there, and after we demanded to talk to the manager - they finally switched the room to one that was a little better. on top of all that, they "forgot" to mention that there would be constructions going on at the hotel, so it was also messy and noisy. I would never, ever, recommend this hotel.
An excellent small boutique hotel with spacious modern rooms and with recommendations for interesting, quality local restaurants
rome, modernity of hotel, location bit noisy from nearby bar one night of three
Great people running the hotel - very friendly. Good location and easy access to the sites around Rome.
staff was really excellent, ready to help you with restaurants, transport, touristic infos. And room was spotless, well decorated and quite!
The rooms were spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous and delicious! The location was convenient.
Comfortable, quiet rooms. Good continental breakfast. Staff helpful with restaurant recomondations. Good location close to metro station, restaurants and supermarket. Off the main street, so no traffic noise.
Staff were excellent without being intrusive. Knowing the length of stay and the fact that it was my first visit to Rome they were keen to let me know what i could see and by what means. Great recommendations not onnly on way in but also on way out too. Overall i felt very well looked after without feeling cosseted. Nothing
It's a perfect new hotel with incredible friendly staff. One of the best places in the world.
Very clean, modern rooms. Outstanding staff - exceeded my expectations. Great location. Very good value. I have no complaints at all.
Professional and courteous staff. Great location for the many, many great sights.
Close to the central station The lift
Just the front desk guy was helpful The bfast and quality of room was very poor
Easy to find ,curtious staff, reasonable breakfast. Being there while modernisation is going on. But it should be complete for our next visit
quiet night, without noise shower cabin very narrow and small
That it was in Rome in a accessable position. Our initial welcome from the miserable check in staff. Lack of room dusting and cleaning.
Booked superior room ,room was tiny bathroom terrible, breakfast bad ,
The rooms to the inside court are very quiet and nice to sleep. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Good location. Good breakfast. The hotel would need brighter colours and new paintings to corridoor areas walls.Rooms would need new floors instead of wholefloor carpets ( made the room smell unfresh and look hevy) and maby a bit brighter colours :)
The receptionist is very helpful, good location, very clean, nice spacious rooms A little bit noisy outside
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Reception staff helpful with enquiries about travel, visits etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel Our air conditioning unit leaked water on to the floor but this was fixed very quickly.
Hotel is across from the british embassy, rooms were nice, nice breakfast included in the price, excellent restaraunt a block away from the hotel (Babbo's, Via Cernaia 16/18) The walk from the train station to the hotel doesn't take you through the nicest part of town, but had no problems and there were plenty of others doing the same thing, dragging their suitcases along behind them. It's a little out of the way if you're doing the sightseeing thing, it's a 10-15 minute walk to a tour bus stop or the train station.
