Pros: ALWAYS saw someone cleaning something. Staff ALWAYS welcomed me back when gone and said something nice when I was going out for day.
Pros: Reasonably priced, decent location and clean room.
Pros: It was just a top class operation.
Pros: Extremely clean and well-appointed.Rooms felt like a notch above typical hotels of this level.Service was outstanding from the front desk to the breakfast attendants.Highly recommended, although it is a little difficult to find.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast included and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.
Pros: location was great, staff were friendly, room was awesome, needs were met, thank you!
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was different, the food was excellent. The entire staff is wonderful and very attentive. There was a very bad accident outside of the hotel that we witnessed, and the staff was quick to respond when asked. My son helped the driver out of the car and the staff offered to purchase a new shirt for him as his was covered in blood. We did not accept, but was a mice offer.
Pros: The rooms were cleaned and fresh linens delivered every day. The staff was wonderful, will definitely stay there on my next visit.
Cons: One evening, a gentleman came in, I'm assuming was a manager or district manager. He was extremely rude, unlike the wonderful staff, from the desk clerks down to the friendly and helpful housekeeping staff.
Room was amazing. Large, clean and comfy. Breakfast was hot, yummy and filling, not the usual toast of muffin. Staff was very friendly. Will use this hotel again.
Pros: Comfy, clean beds.
Don't know because there was no room available for me at this hotel.
Cons: They had no room available for me at this hotel even though I booked through Priceline 3 months in advance. Said there was a room available at the Comfort Inn but when I arrived there they didn't have a room and were unaware of any arrangement.

Pros: The suite we stayed in was beautiful, large, and convenient. The kitchenette was great and very helpful. The staff was friendly. They even had Ben & Jerry's ice cream available for purchase, which was amazing!
Cons: The television did not have a menu page, which was a little frustrating with how many channels were available. But everything else was great!

Guests can visit the 24-hour fitness center for a workout or splash around at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool. Conveniences like kitchens are in all apartments, along with LCD TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: they sent us a text for early check-in and scenic view request and i responded then later text came back denied on both requests. Also informed them it was our 25th anniversary and they said they are aware of it. Went to the bar for drinks and struck up a conversation with mgr and he asked for our room # for an anniversary surprise. Needless to say we never got anything delivered to us and upon checkout, the lady dandy even seem to care when i told her. Just another overpriced hotel in a nice location!
Pros: Beautiful physical plant that is well maintained
Cons: The most uncomfortable pillows of all time. Must have been filled with sand! Room too hot with no way to cool. Sink drain was inoperative. Some rooms are miles from the elevator.

Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Brookshire Restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with premium bedding, bathrobes, and designer toiletries.
Cons: I booked on line...my sister was going to pay--I drive and buy food.since I booked she couldn't pay!! The beds are too high! Hideous view back of u.s. Mail and back of pier one...booked early and still ended up with a pet room!!! I don't have pets don't want a pet room!!!!!
TownePlace Suites by Marriott® is an extended-stay hotel where you can balance work and life as you like, with the comfort, flexibility and affordability you require. Relax and feel at home with a fully equipped kitchen and high-speed Internet access.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room didn't seem to work as well as it could. Didn't cool very well.
Pros: Great friendly staff, beautiful large bathroom, lovely clean room.
Cons: Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, even for a hotel continental breakfast: greasy meat, weird eggs, and cereal. There was a waffle maker, true! But often a continental breakfast has some protein options, some good toast ... and it was all on paper plates with plastic utensils, which was discouraging.
Pros: Rooms were very clean. Breakfast choices where excellent.
Pros: This hotel is very convieniently located. Weather your visiting ford feild, the zoo, or auburn palace this is a great choice. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the mall has something for everyone.
The hotel itself is very clean and has a wonderful staff. You will be greeted with a smile and taken well care of. They try very hard to accommodate you needs or wants.
My family, myself- husband- 8year old- 5 year old, have stayed here multiple times and never have any problems.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like. However, I would suggest that they have their cleaning staff move the night stands and desks so they're able to clean behind them. There were broken balloons and straw wrappers behind ours. Not the worst thing that could happen but I'd still appreciate them making sure the previous guests garbage was all taken care of.

Pros: My wife and I booked room online for a grad party. After long drive, got in late, room was ready and accommodations were good. Parking lot was well lit and looked reasonably well maintained. Breakfast was good as well. Overall a good value.
Cons: What I didn't realize until later, however, was that a local relative had dropped off a hospitality basket ahead of time and, though it was placed in our room, a travel baseball team who was also staying there had requested changing rooms to keep them all together, and when they reassigned our room, they didn't move the basket. We eventually got it, but the kids had gotten to it first. While the front desk staff was extremely apologetic, the oversight was just unfortunate and disappointing.
Pros: The smell of the room.
Cons: There was a cockroach in the bathroom!
Pros: Very clean, Staff very welcoming. Highly recommenced

Pros: Was called at 2pm asking if I was ever to check out.
Apparently I had left my do not disturb sign on the door and the manager was concerned about disturbing me.
I had left at 7:30am.
Very considerate and classy move.
Great breakfast as well.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: The staff working at checkin was clearly annoyed with us. The girl training was polite and friendly, however her trainer could use a refresher on smiling and patience. Hospitality isn't for everyone. Smile and breathe it goes a long way.
Pros: Most attentive front desk check in guy. Had a great report with all the guests and knew many by first name. Starts you off on the right foot. He is very valuable to the property.
Rooms were very nice, pillows perfect, mattress newer.
Makes me want to stay at a Quality Inn again.
Cons: Crappy internet service. I was in a room on the end so did that have anything to do with it? Kept dropping my connection which made me have to keep reloading emails.

Pros: Location we needed, clean, friendly, good breakfast.
Cons: Housekeeping tried to come in at 9 am while we were still getting ready and had not checked out yet.
Pros: Everything was fine Hot tub a little loud then we had to turn tv up that was not ideal.
Cons: I don't know if all rooms in basement had Hot Tub but room next to ours at 4:00 in the morning were talking so loud it woke me up. I don't know if it was because they were using the Hot Tub or not
Pros: perfect location. quiet. friendly staff
Pros: Clean, large rooms. Nicely appointed so it met my needs. Close to where I needed to be and conveniently located right off the freeway.
Cons: I thought it was a bit pricey. Probably wouldn't have stayed there if I'd been alone, but was sharing the cost with my cousin who met me there for a family gathering.
Pros: The room, staff were wonderful. Breakfats was nice too.
Cons: Kids unsupervised in pool, loud, people above our room were very loud, had to make many complaints to the front desk.
Pros: It was a great hotel
Cons: I asked for a jacuzzi suite and got the handicap room it was still nice tho
Pros: Pool and hot tub for the kids. The free breakfast was great
We love staying at this hotel. The hotel location is perfect when we want to come watch the Pistons play. I also like the proximity to the mall. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful and included with price. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. This was or second stay and we enjoyed it both times. This will be our hotel of choice any time we are in the Auburn Hills area!
Pros: We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us! The location is awesome. We can't believe this is only a 2.5 star hotel. We have paid a lot more and received a lot less from higher rated hotels. This was our second stay and I know it won't be our l

Pros: The pool was clean and well-kept. The breakfast in the morning had lots of options even for picky kids.
Cons: Room was not totally clean. Stains on carpet and couch, and there was garbage on the floor of the bathroom. The light for one of the beds wasn't working, and the temperature was inconsistent. Finally turned it up to 80 and even then it was occasionally cold.
Pros: My family enjoyed it.
Pros: Beds and pillows were very comfortable
Cons: Breakfast ended a little early for a family on vacation 9am
Pros: Rooms very nice
Cons: Not enough staff to check in. Same staff checking in that were getting drinks for others at side bar so those people waited too.

Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, with hot breakfast items, fresh fruit, oatmeal, available daily. Restaurants are within walking distance. The closest hotel to the Palace of Auburn Hills-2 miles. Cons: I was there for 4 nights
The first night the heater went out
The second day my shower faucet fell off and hit my foot and I couldn't finish my shower
3rd day I took my face towel off the towel rack and it just fell off the wall
I told front desk and it wasn't fix the next two days.
Pros: They accommodated my early check-in request. Room was spacious and clean.
Cons: I hung my breakfast order for the morning on my door per the instructions on the order sheet. It was never picked up and my food was not delivered in the morning. I found this to be very unprofessional.
Pros: The facility had a lot of nice amenities.
Cons: One day there wasn't a towel picked up of the floor after cleaning. The plastic cover for the thermostat was broken, it didn't affect the performance of the heater but it didn't look Hilton. One of the sofa cushions had a slight stain on it, nothing major, I turned it over.
Cons: Too nice of a hotel to have little kids running and yelling, this as i was checking out.

Pros: The hotel is very nice with quality decor and updated rooms. The pool facilities were great, very clean. We were only 10 minutes away from Great Lakes Crossing Mall and a Rainforest Cafe. the only thing I would change is the mattresses.
Cons: The beds were not comfortable at all. I know you don't get the best of everything, but with the upgraded quality of everything else, I expected the beds to be of equal quality. I tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable.

Cons: The rugs & chairs were stained and dirty. The room had a strange odor.
Pros: The staff was great, loved the wood floors an spacious rooms.
Cons: Dead flies in the room, the breakfast was a little lame, very loud guests coming in following concert, lasted until early morning hours.
Pros: Not a luxury place by any means, but clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably well appointed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Kids loved the 9 ft. Deep pool. Would benefit from a hottub. Would've gotten the jacuzzi suite had I known there wasn't one. Gym is pretty spartan. Didn't get up for breakfast so can't review. But always coffee and water in lobby. Beds were pretty good (and I'm a mattress snob).
Cons: No hot tub or sauna. Hallway reminiscent of the Shining. Ha
Pros: Very quite and well kept hotel.
Cons: Location if your not paying attention you can miss it.
Pros: The service was fantastic. No problems at all. We enjoyed our stay.

The Rochester Carriage House B&B is a great choice for a stay in Rochester. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in massages. There's a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and DVD players.
Pros: The room was very clean. The television had all the channels I wanted, and a large screen. The staff was great and worked to please. The king size bed was very comfortable.
Pros: clean, great location to Auburn Hills Palace, convenient to restaurants
Pros: This is a very affordable hotel in a spot that's not well served. Workers are friendly & the room is fairly comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness & the appearance of the property are slipping a little. If the decline continues, I won't be going back.
Pros: Motel was located conveniently to the freeway and my final destination. Pricing for the room was very affordable, rooms looked like they've been updated recently. If you need a safe, affordable place to crash for a night - this Red Roof is for you.
Cons: You could tell that my room had formerly been a "smoking" room converted to "non-smoking." If smoke smells bother you, I'd suggest taking a whiff of your room prior to bringing luggage in.
Pros: Nice staff and they were very helpful. Good place to stay for a night but not extended stay- to small. No breakfast but there is a McDonalds next door which is walking distance.
Pros: Located near Great Lakes Crossing and Somerset Mall, it gives the extended stay shopper a convenient location for both. The Property is in the process of being refreshed, so any short comings hopefully will be addressed. There is a McDonalds next to the Motel, for those in need of a quick meal. The area has many restaurants nearby. As a retired Manufacturers Rep, I've stayed in hundreds of rooms and this Red Roof I'd rate at just barely average.
Cons: One major area of complaint that is unforgivable in any Hotel is black mold. The bath/shower had accumulations under the soap Dish, starting in the corners, and a 1/3 inch patch where the tub meets the wall, This is always an indication of lack of inspection of all rooms by Management. Mold in this amount does not grow in one night.
This 100 Percent Smoke-Free, Newly Renovated Red Roof Detroit Rochester Hills features easy access to the Palace at Auburn Hills, the Pontiac Silverdome, Michigan State Management Conference Center, Oakland University, Meadowbrook Hall and Music Center, Chrysler Tech Center, The Palace - Pistons Arena, Freedom Hill, downtown Detroit and the D.T.E.
