Villa Des Roses - Roussillon - Building

9.8 Excellent (148 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Roussillon, Villa des Roses is in a regional park, within a 15-minute drive of Ochre Cliffs of Roussillon and Caves du Palais Saint Firmin. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. A nice place to relax .....
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Delicious homemade breakfast - very sweet but nice. The bed was perfect and not too soft.
Cons: It would have been nice if it had been possible to get cold softdrinks and water since there is no fridge and about half an hours walk to a shop or cafe.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hospitable and friendly hosts. Very good location and surroundings. Quite close to the village. Pool, open kitchen, and garden. Rooms and cleanliness. Private parking for cars. Silence and peace.
Cons: Lack of air-conditioning in the rooms, maybe for someone in extreme heat nights it is not enough. There is also no refrigerator in the rooms and there is no way to leave drinks to cool for the night, it is needed to go to the refrigerator by the pool. Breakfast is good, there is variety of pastries prepared by the hosts, but it is too sweet for us. No complains, just our recommendations to the hosts is to supplement breakfast with scrambled eggs or omelets, some sausages, bacon or ham, or anything else. It would be nice to offer freshly squeezed orange juice instead of concentrated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent; Gérard and Lysianne are the most gracious hosts. She went out of her way to make gluten & lactose free cakes and pastries for me! The estate is spotlessly clean, rooms are big and luminous, breakfast is out of this world. The pool is a perfect spot to relax after a day exploring sunny Provence. Tip for future visitors: bring a little something from your home town as a gift, because you will want to give something to them when you leave, I guarantee it!
Cons: I really have nothing bad to say! We'll definitely come back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lysiane was not well but still very considerate for our comfort. Serivce minded and friendly hosts. The villa is located in a quiet scenic spot and has delicious breakfast. We want to come back and highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is very nice and passionate. She introduced rooms for us and all facilities. The breakfast is superior. The cakes, jam all hand made by host. And the cherry is just taken from their tree in garden. We love this place so much! All is super good! We Miss it so much!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have travelled widely in Europe and la Villa des Roses was up there as one of our most enjoyable experiences. The position is unique, set in a garden of roses and other planting which is offset in a landscape bounded by multi-coloured core cliffs. WONDERFUL!
Cons: We cannot think of anything - it was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The couple who run the place are fantastic and serve an incredible breakfast. The place is quite stunning for the location. Bed was very comfortable and I had the best sleep of my vacation!
Cons: Not necessarily a negative, but this is a room in a home, rather than a separate vacation property. At times, it felt a little uncomfortable to walk around the property since it is someone else's house.
Domaine Les Martins - Gordes - Bedroom

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice (really!) but not "spectacular" breakfast. Great privacy. Nice guests. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Nice range of homemade jams to buy.
Cons: Location a bit difficult to find but once arrived easy to find again when returning from excursion or dinner. Pillows far too thick or high. Bed too soft. But that is a very personal issue, others may like it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the place. Set in a stunning location, everything was perfect. The hosts went out of their way to help us and our room was exceptional - typically French, spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the pool area was tranquil and relaxing. We want to come back ASAP!
Cons: The temperature of the water in the sink and shower was a bit hard to regulate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail was magnificent ... Regis and Davis has thought of every little thing
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved absolutely everything.
Cons: That we couldn't stay longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay at DLM. The facilities and details in the rooms were perfect and made the stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The hosts are so welcoming and very helpful in planning activities for your stay. The breakfast was amazing. Truly a special experience. Would highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Domaine les Martins is great, great, great! Everything is perfect. Outstanding design, amazing garden, nice owner. This is an unforgettable property where you want to return. We very much recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A stunning authentic French provincial boutique property with beautiful gardens and beautiful rooms. Perfectly located to make day trips to anywhere in Province possible. Knowledgeable and caring owners.
Cons: Could not fault anything. This place is perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It’s such a special place, the owners are the most lovely and caring people who thought about every single detail to make your stay unforgettable. From the décor to a very special dinner arranged by them for our arrival date, everything was just perfect. We highly recommend the place.
Cons: Only our arrival was a bit confusing, we had a bit difficulty in finding the place since the address given does not mention an exact street name. We suggest providing a map so that guests can find it easier. But once there, the whole experience was just heaven.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great host, everything perfect
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden with many different areas where one could relax either with people or find a quiet spot to unwind, meditate or read a book. The architecture was superbly thought out and the buildings carefully restored with attention to detail in every respect. David and Régis went out of their way to make us feel at home, gave local travel advice, made suggestions and bookings with some of the best restaurants we’ve eaten in. David very kindly helped with giving suggestions on where to eat and shop in Istanbul as this was our next destination and he hand first hand knowledge of the city being a Turk himself. All in all we highly recommend this establishment.
Cons: Sign posting was a little difficult to spot.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay near Gordes. Great hosts, beautiful place, nice pool, good breakfast, large room and big comfortable bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I felt that property is well located as it is hardly 10-15 mins drive away from all the nice villages like Gordes, Rousillon, Lacoste, Mênerbes, etc. and it had good connectivity to the highway. The room was nice and spacious. Hosts were very nice and always smiling. Breakfast was really good with some amazing Goat cheese and homemade jams.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were really welcoming, easy access from the main road (10min from Gordes), beautiful property, our room "The Grenier" was spacious with a large bathroom (big tub) , views on the garden and the pool. Great recommendations of restaurants around and day trips. The + of our stay the breakfast in the garden with homemade yogurts!!
Cons: Nothing...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room, host were amazingly nice, great value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent Bed&Breakfast in the heart of Lubéron, next to small pittoresques villages of the area. The very charming couple Sylvie and Michèle welcome guests - always ready to give an advice and recommendations about the region. The excellent breakfast with home made and local products, nice inner garden with the swimming pool. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Would be definitely happy to come back one day!
7.5 Good
Pros: It's a small, family owned hotel in the middle of Provence. The brakfast is served by the owners, fresh juices, home made cheese and cake, delicious!
Cons: Everything was great.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The place was very nice. The breakfast was good.
Cons: We had to climb a lot of dangerous stairs. We asked to change the room which was at the third highest floor and booked days ago but we were refused. We are aged people and this is a problem. It must be explained when you try to book.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful gardens and quaint small village atmosphere. Perfect start point to explore the nearby villages.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location with the most wonderful hosts Michelle and Silvan. The property is located in central Luberon, Provence and ideal for exploring the beautiful villages of this part of Provence. Breakfast was delicious with Silvan bringing his cake of the day and ensuring each days fruit salad was served with a different herb syrup. Fresh croissants and breads. I can honestly say this stay was the highlight of our multi week travels. We will certainly stay again when next in Luberon.
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The host, the house, the pool, the silence..
Cons: -

Pros: Marie Anne and Gregory (the hosts) were incredibly accommodating and made our stay an excellent experience; we were welcomed as if one of their family members.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts. Great breakfast with fruits straight from the garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome and friendliness of Marine and Gregory. The location is fantastic - very peaceful but with easy access to Joucas, Roussillon, Gordes, Goult etc. Beautiful house and land overlooking lavender fields, vines, apricots...with views right across the valley and beyond. Food amazing, with much of it grown either on the property - figs, grapes, tomatoes, configures - or at the neighbours - delicious melons. Also homemade yoghurt. Only 3 rooms , so a real sense of personal service and connection in a lovely family home. Loads of comfortable outdoor space, including the pool, and hammocks, and different places to sit or lie and relax. We loved it.
Cons: Everything was beautiful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of communal space. We also made use of their plancha for our first evening. We had a very multi cultural evening with guests staying from Sweden and Italy but most of us spoke english including our hostess.
Cons: The location was very rural ,the property is situated on the top of a hill with very windy roads. Difficult if you wanted to go out for an evening meal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! It was gorgeous!!!
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice picturesque property overlooking the Luberon. Friendly and welcoming hosts. The kids enjoyed the huge garden with the trampoline.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are very clean, spacious and are in a good condition. There is no air condition so expect a bit higher sleeping temperatures, especially in summer. The staff is very friendly. Bikes were stored securely. You have a really nice view into the valley.
Cons: The food offered was too little for the charged price. Admittedly, we asked for few food in the evening but still, they should be more flexible with this (if you ask for little food you should not be charged a standard price).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and cosy B&B in a very quite and relaxed location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gregory and his wife were amazing hosts! They helped us so much when our car broke down and we needed help to get to the hotel and also find a way to communicate with the car assistance service, as they spoke French. We can't thank them enough for their help, hospitality and amazing experience they have given us. We had amazing home cooked food and got to meet different people with the dinner they hosted. The location and the room were amazing. Everything was really lovely. I would like to recommend this place to anyone who is looking to experience the real French nature and meet some of the most kind and caring people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional place. Perfectly renovated, but preserving the real rustic charm. Great mountains view from the room window. Perfect breakfast and delicious dinner. Great place for kids.
Cons: No complains

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful and kind owners. I've stayed for the first time in such original place like this with beautiful garden . Quietly located close to Roussillon and it's main attractions (but it isn't walking distance). Place for a car next to the apartement. Rich breakfast in the garden under the 400 years old tree in a nice atmosphere with a surprising factor at the end namely 3 minutes boiled eggs :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of my favorite places to stay in France! Lou Amourie is a quick drive from Roussillon, Goult, Apt, and Menerbes. The location itself is stunning: an old house tucked behind a lavender field with a large garden to relax in behind the house and vineyards off to the side. Great breakfast, too. But the best thing about Lou Amourie is Phillipe and Didier, who are both charming and informative, not only about the immediate surroundings, but also about Aix, Marseille, and beyond.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Oh the beautiful surroundings, the atmosphere and most delicate breakfast! Merci Didier and Philippe!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts, most kind, caring and helpful with all needed advices for touristic activity. Stylish, beautiful room, full of charm and tranquillity. Fantasic garden to see, walk through to greet the elegant shaped trees, sit and relax, listening to birds - and delicuous breakfast in the middle of it, poetry in the morning sun. Only 3 km to Roussillon, you can take the car, you may walk, whatever you choose. Whatever I and my husband did during the day, we always came back to this garden and it's absolute peace :)'

7.5 Good
Pros: We had a very pleasant stay. Christians was an extremely engaging host. Very near town, but far enough away that it was very peaceful and relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and welcoming B&B, making you feel at home. The owner's kindness and happiness to host people makes you feel very comfortable. The breakfast is very nice as well. Within walking distance you will be able to reach Gordes which is a real advantage.
Cons: The bed is a bit hard.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A lovely warm welcome and top quality accommodation. Luxurious and thoughtful extra touches made our stay for my birthday very special. The garden and the house are just perfect. This late in the season, the pool was too cold to use but we enjoyed sitting outside with a tea. Beautiful breakfast served on the terrace. House is only a short drive up the road from the centre of Gordes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and garden, very chic. It was so pleasant and comfortable to stay here, felt like home. Thank you !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Starting with the warm and friendly welcome you immediately feel you are in safe hands. The room was spotlessly clean with a fastidious attention to detail only seen in more expensive establishments. The privacy of the property is a huge positive with the patio area and clean swimming pool being an added bonus. Car parking is private and secure within the gated property. The breakfast is wonderful. We will not bother looking elsewhere for our next visit to Gordes and would highly recommend La Chenaie as a top choice.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Christian is a kind hostess that cares about every little detail. It was the perfect honeymoon location and we can't wait to come back in the future. The private pool is the best, and the french breakfast is exceptional
Cons: Nothing!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: Undoubtably the most disappointing stay during our time in France. We booked and paid for 3 nights but were so uncomfortable we left after 2 nights (no refund). The bedroom had a musty odour. The room had no air conditioning making it unbearable in the summer heat. The windows needed to be open allowing insects in at night time. The continental breakfast was poor on the first day and worse on the second. No fresh local produce was included. The coffee and hot chocolat were impalatable. The pool was not private as described, it was also used by the owner. The pool was adjacent to a busy road with considerable traffic noise. The property was outside the town limits and beyond walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. Check in time was very late in the day at 1700. We found interactions with the host awkward and uncomfortable. Overall very very disappointed. This property does not offer value for money at all. This was by far the most expensive stay of our trip and we expected more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adrien took very well care of us and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for your effort and care.
Cons: NA
Mas Auroma - Murs - Bedroom
8
9.5 Excellent (144 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Murs, Mas Auroma is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Chateau de Gordes and Caves du Palais Saint Firmin. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A small bed & breakfast with a wonderful garden - you can tell that the owners take very good care of this beautiful place. Although we visited in the middle of July, our room was not hot: there was a nice evening breeze and the high ceiling worked wonders. The bathroom is really spacious and has a great rain shower. Foremost, we much enjoyed the pool, which is clean and well taken care of, and the breakfast served on the terrace- with homemade jam!
Cons: All was lovely. Only weak point: the room is cleaned only every third day, which would be okay for us. However, we would have appreciated if the trash would have been removed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere Owner Attitude Surrounding forest-covered area
Cons: Bad wifi connection
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly owner served us an excellent breakfast. Room was just perfect for one night stay. Very clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: people there were very helpful, friendly and accomodating
Cons: There was nothing that did not like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room with a big modern bathroom. Nice terrace. Great pool. Lovely hostess. Good breakfast in beautiful surroundings.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The B&B has a wonderful location close to beautiful village Gordes perched upon one of these breathtaking Provence backcountry hills, although it's not really walking distance but around 4,5 km outside of town, especially during hot summer days. The rooms are nice and clean and offer enough privacy. The owner is friendly and helpful and tries to make you feel comfortable right from the start. There are parking lots right next to the accomodation so you don't need to carry your packs around a lot. Every accomodation has a little terrace with deck chairs and a table and the pool is refreshing during summer siestas. Breakfast is served with all other guests at one big table, so expect to be chatting right away while enjoying tasty coffee and delicious croissants. All in all a good base from which to explore Gordes and beautiful Luberon. Make sure not to miss out on dinner in nearby Restaurant Les Remparts in Venasque!
Cons: Our room didn't have air conditioning which is why we had to vent the room in the night by opening the bath window to the back. Usually that's not a problem but considering the price we paid we would expect such amenities (to be fair, it didn't say air conditioning in the description, but still...). Also, since the breakfast is typically sweet french style don't expect fresh cheese or sausages. Again, for the price we paid we had expected a little bit more.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Quick easy drive into Gordes. Wifi was great, breakfast was fresh and easy, pool lovely, room very clean. We travelled with our daughter who is 20months old. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Hope to visit again soon
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautiful setting in the country side, very enjoyable pool, nice patio for our room, spacious room with fridge. very friendly hosts, and perfect location ! great place to return to!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place of staying, very kind host Evelina with her husband! Charming French garden!
Cons: Last day of staying there were some problems with water...it was a problem in the city Gordes, not only in Mas Auroma. The rest is great!

Pros: Peaceful location, in beautiful countryside but convenient to the village of Murs which has an excellent reasonably priced restaurant. Excellent breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, eggs, croisants and cheeses. Charming, helpful host who booked the restaurant for us and advised about a walk from the house and other points of local interest. Our room had a private terrace.

Pros: The property is beautiful and has a nice pool. The owner, Helene, was very hospitable and friendly. She prepared a beautiful, delicious breakfast every morning. Other Luberon towns are easily accessible by car from Murs. I wholeheartedly recommend les Chambers d’Adeline to anyone visiting the Luberon.

Le Mas de Roussillon - Roussillon - Building

9.4 Excellent (210 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Roussillon, this cottage is in a regional park, a 4-minute drive from Ochre Cliffs of Roussillon and 8 minutes from SCAD Lacoste. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful house with exceptional bathroom and bedroom. Lovely pool in a charming garden. Friendly hosts. Breakfast served at the table. Quiet location with walks around the area. Close to Roussillon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay in a quiet area but not far from places to visit. Nice garden and pool to cool down in. Owners were very nice and helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The couple that own this location were extremely friendly and went out of their way to see that we enjoyed our stay, even sharing samples of their dinner with us. The breakfasts were great and the outside areas to eat were very pleasant and shady. We had quite a big room. The location is south of Roussillon in the village of Les Huguets, about 15 minutes south of Roussillon. It was not real easy to find, even with GPS. Roussillon fills with tourists, so being away from the, crowd was just fine with us. The pool was nice and great to have because it was quite hot when we were there. If you're visiting Provence for bicycling, it would be difficult to find a better place to stay. The owner is a former professional mountain bike rider (for Mongoose) and has written three books on bicycling the Mt Ventoux area.
Cons: It was quite hot when we visited Provence this summer and air conditioning would have been a plus. To minimize heating the room with the hot sun, the shutters were closed which kept things more comfortable, but there was no view. Given the choice, comfort was more important than a view! Our room did not have a shower and we named the tiny room with the toilet "The Confessional;" a large person would have problems using it with the door closed. Also, we shared the pool with a lot of wasps (not WASPs) which were not particularly aggressive, but, if their nest was near could have been a big issue. The friendliness of the couple more than made up for these inconveniences.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of our host and their kindness to every request.
Cons: Nothing negative, all was very much to our liking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were excellent. Very warm, quiet and restful environment.
Cons: Everything was excellent!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cosy setting, comfortable rooms, and nice garden area/pool. It is a 30 minute walk to roussillon but the advantage is that, being near to Pont Julien, there are more options re: buses. Hosts are generous in the event of any query.
Cons: WiFi wasn’t always great but that’s a relatively minor point when I wanted to spend most of my time outdoors. It is also worth noting that, if planning a hike to Gordes as part of your stay, you should, add 3km from here.
7.5 Good
Cons: Hosts were kind but not welcoming!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The house is very nicely decorated but needs a hang in the bathroom to hang the towels, there is no alternative. The swimming pool!
Cons: The house is far from any restaurant. You need the car to go to eat. The WiFi does not exist. When I needed the internet I used only 3g. Typical French breakfast, but for 5 mornings the same thing...

Pros: Dominique & Nathalie are very laid back hosts who provide a warm and restful accommodation in a beautiful environment. Absolutely a perfect stay. Thank you!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We like the little hamlet, very unique, and refreshing. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was tastefully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good rest there. Dominique was very helpful in helping us with our emergency issue. We appreciate it!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breathtakingly beautiful surrounds. Completely charming. Very friendly hosts. Great place to relax.
Cons: You will need a car to get around and the driving around the luberon is not easy. If you hire a car insist on a small one.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The farm is set close to several touristic highlights of the Luberon without being in the thick of it. It is quiet and relaxed and beautifully designed. Alexandra and her staff were very friendly and welcoming, helping us with several recommendations on what to see and where to eat. We had an absolutely lovely stay.

Pros: Location, designs, Olives, sunset, infinity pool, garden, breakfast. The hosts are the BEST!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstandingly beautiful place with wonderful hosts!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property has a lot of character and having a swimming pool was wonderful, especially in the 37C heat we had when we arrived! The property manager is lovely - pleasant and helpful
Cons: I expected the property to be walking distance to Gordes - but this was my fault, I guess I didn’t do my research properly!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful setting. Hosts who have spared no expense and put in loving thought into its refurbishment. Though tucked away off the main road (you will need a car), the compound is well lit at night. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Daily breakfast was generous. A short drive from Coustellet, where you can get all your groceries and wine. A great base to the Luberon.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Comfortable clean rooms, relaxing places to sit, tasty breakfast
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED our stay at Ferme Les Callis! The property is absolutely stunning. The home is beautifully decorated with so much character and has many comfortable spaces for relaxing. The bed was very Marion, Luccas, and the rest of the team were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast spread is fabulous with a large variety of high-quality cheeses, meats, breads, pastries, jams/jellies, juices, and more. The location is wonderful as well. We used Ferme Les Callis as a home base to explore the villages of the Luberon (very short drive) as well as the Cote du Rhone wine region, Arles, Saint Remy, and many other places and nothing was more than 45 minutes to an hour away. And driving is a pleasure when your surroundings are so beautiful. We highly recommend this lovely property!!
Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful and special place. The hosts were amazing. Marvelous breakfast with magnificent views of the Provence countryside. The room was huge, beautifully furnished, lovely bathroom.
Cons: Liked everything...Cannot praise it enough!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: , beautiful and large room and bathroom, wonderful view from the window, the gardening and vicinity is exquisite, you see that they thought on every detail. the swimming pool is amazing by looking at it(didn't try), Very nice breakfast(i would love .|to have some vegetables, but apart from this- very reach and tasty ), the location was perfect, close to the village of Rousillion, great for trips at all the Luberon valey, north and south extremely nice host and stuff, very helpful and friendly
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, just outside Roussillon itself, well within walking distance. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and breakfast was good. There is a very nice pool and sunbathing area.
Cons: It is a shame there are no facilities for getting drinks or snacks at the hotel during the day. And we thought it a little odd that the communal part of the hotel is closed and gated off from 8pm - it makes it feel more like B&B accommodation than a hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Fabulous hotel in a great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Space and location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, very nice room, good breakfast service. They allow us to use the swimming pool even after the check out. Super suggested.

Pros: Good place in there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is simply great! The rooms are spacious, super clean and the decor is very nice. Swimming pool was a great plus in those hot days. Well located close to the main center of the village as well as a very good base point to move around visiting the nice villages of Luberon. Could be enough that to give an idea about the place but not, people often make the difference and Jean Pierre was absolutely an outstanding host. Him and his family&colleagues made my holidays and I don’t have enough words to say THANK YOU!
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is situated at less than 1km from the old town of Roussillon. In fact we used to walk this stretch of road rather than going by car. Staff is friendly and polite and speak good english. The bathroom in our room had been recently renovated and the rain shower was excellent. There was also a mini fridge which was a plus point. There is a large pool at the back of the hotel which unfortunately we did not have sufficient time to use. Towels are provided by the staff. Parking is also available on site.
Cons: Breakfast costs 13 per person per night which compared to what ia on offer is expensive. If you love confiture jams etc then this is the place for you otherwise this is a very average breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location! Easy walk into the town and lots of choice where to eat as recommended by the hotel. We are in the La Grappe de Raisin, which was delicious and a great price too. The pool at the hotel was a welcoming site after 400kms on a motorbike. Our room was so comfortable, clean and the bathroom was clean and modern. We had a ground floor with a short walk to the pool area. Breakfast, lots of choice and good coffee.
Cons: Nothing. All good.

Pros: The gardens are beautiful, and there is ample parking. The staff were also very friendly.
Cons: We did not have internet in the room when we arrived (fortunately we were moved to a room closer to reception). On one of the days there was a private party with external guests and the pool was over crowded with children, so not so relaxing and a little unpleasant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive and friendly owner who was a pleasure to interact with. Wonderful quiet country setting very close to La Coste and other places of interest in Provence.
Cons: With unseasonably hot weather, a small fan in the bedroom would have been appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved this small paradise, located in a amazing location. Big and beautiful rooms with view to Lacoste and Bonnieux. Patricia it's a such a charming host and make you feel like home. Delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and we would return with the most pleasure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Patricia is the kindest hostess we have ever met so far. The room & surroundings of the property are fabulous. Bonnieux village can be seen from the garden & Lacoste village from the other side of the property. Great breakfast as well!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hostess extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast simple but tasty. I liked the fact that jams for breakfast were offered not in single portions but in a pot: ecological! View from our window exceptional, on Bonnieux on one side (photo attached, view at sunrise on Bonnieux), Lacoste on the other. Very quiet room (in the middle of the countryside), slept very well, very comfortable bed. There is a footpath to go directly to Lacoste (15 min walk).
Cons: A parking with shade for the car would be useful, in the summer it can get very hot. Fresh fruit for breakfast could also be a nice addition/improvement....the melons in the region are wonderful! There was no soap in the room, but the hostess promptly provided it upon request.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast and excellent recommendation for dinner in Lumieres! Beautiful property and very friendly owner.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved this B&B. Patricia is the most kind and charming hostess. Lovely big rooms with beautiful views. Breakfast is outside or in the vast dining room. There is a huge garden with chairs - and amazing views. The location is so peaceful and perfect for visiting the mediaeval villages. Lacoste is gorgeous and doesn’t seem so much on the tourist trail - so lovely to walk round. Be sure to go up to the very top of the village. No problem with language at all as Patricia’s ‘translator’ is excellent and very entertaining! Cafe de France is excellent - Patricia will book a table for you, this is necessary if you are to eat there and I think it’s the only local place. Patricia will do everything possible to make your stay perfect.
Cons: That we didn’t stay longer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is situated just in between the two beautiful villages in Luberon and has stunning views on both Lacoste and Bonnieux. The host was very nice and communicative and made you feel at home. We could have our own sandwich dinner and we even discovered some local coctails (du rosé avec du creme de pamlemousse) :-)
Cons: The rooms were not completely soundproof and we could hear other guests through the walls.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great host, provancial climate, big garden
Cons: a little to small bed (for two people

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome property, well maintained, the best Relais & Chateaux we have been at The spa is amazing, the food is very good.
Cons: The gym could use more weights and the AC was not strong enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room we stayed in, had automatic lights in the walking closet, which always switched on when somebody went to the toilet. This was quite annoying as those lights also illuminated the bedroom, which is not pleasant for those sleeping. As for the spa, I (nor other guests during my time at the spa) couldn’t find any showers near the saunas, which led to the fact that guests who finished their sauna, all went in the cool pool without showering which is not very hygienic. Except for those 2 observations, it needs to be said that the facilities were very clean and well taken care off.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful location and excellent spa facilities. Very good restaurants.
Cons: Slightly overpriced considering that absolutely nothing is complimentary apart from a bottle of water and some tea/coffee in the room (not even an apple or some biscuits...)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views Great bike center and pool Nice dining options
Cons: Beds are hard
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Meals were superb in all three restaurants. Service by the pools for drinks etc. was first rate.
Cons: Air-con in rooms and around hotel needs great improvement considering the luxury of the place and the prices charged. Cars having to be parked so far from residence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is inspiring. The staff is very accommodating behind the desk, by the pool, everywhere. The food choices are broad. The location is central. We particularly enjoyed the use of a smart car for traveling about, the bike facility and its’ warm and helpful manager, walking the marked trails. Antoine, the concierge and Christophe in Le Vigne deserve particular mention. Christophe volunteered 3 nights to filet my husbands fish. Antoine was the quintessential concierge; planning our days and points of interest, helping with reservations and navigating lost and found of Air France.
Cons: We thought breakfast was expensive and should have “a la carte” items.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the middle of vine region, beautiful views from some of the rooms (ask for the one!). Interesting gourmet restaurant, but a bit expensive. Staff is very kind and helpful.
Cons: Some of the rooms access the inner space of the hotel and do not have any view at all. Breakfast was moderate for such a hotel. Spa was overbooked for all 5 days we have spent there and mostly with local people, no preferences for hotel guests were provided. That was a great disappointment. Hotel is a little too big for R&C kind, our feeling was that it is overcrowded.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing stay. Facilities are beautiful, food amazing, wine lovely. Cannot fault it
Cons: NA - absolutely perfect
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent and the evening dining is the best in class. All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable The BMC Cycle centre on site was a bonus Good value car hire on site
Cons: The breakfast should really have been included when you consider the cost of a night at this hotel. However it wasnt and at 28 euro per person extra it certainly wasn't worth that!

Pros: Everything besides the size of the bed was perfect. The property is well maintained the garden beautiful. The swimming pool amazing. And the breakfast amazing. The hotels were very kind and helpful. I fully recommend the place.
Cons: The only thing that could be better is the size of the bed. They room is big and comfortable and would be perfect a bigger bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly welcome, lovely comfortable room, great facilities, tasty and varied breakfast options and very helpful recommendations/advice provided by both hosts Virginie & Renaud. House was in a great location, short walking distance from the beautiful Cabrières d’Avignon.
Cons: Nothing negative to say. No improvements needed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were so warm and friendly — both fluent English speaking. The advice they gave for which of the local sights & towns to visit made our break that extra special. The house was in a quiet area of the quaint village. The room was very comfortable, typical French with a fabulous shower. The breakfast was of the highest quality with fresh produce and great coffee. The chats with the owners were entertaining and they were perfect hosts.
Cons: Nothing negative at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely hospitable yet discreet welcome from very friendly and efficient hosts. Well located in quiet village within easy distance of busier but interesting tourist attractions and delightful countryside.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was one of our best stays ever and it had a lot to do with our hosts. Wonderful people who are open minded, friendly and really welcoming. They know the area very well, including points of interests, restaurants and vineries. Location was great. Calm and beautiful, with a lovely garden and pool. We would come back again.
Cons: Bed was a little too small, although we are 170cm tall, so normal size. Breakfast was really nice for a few days but then we would have welcomed a little more variety in cheese and cold cuts for example.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Was so nice and relaxing after we had been travelling for over a month. Lovely property, in a cute village, and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. Our experience was everything we could’ve hoped for from Provence. Was so nice having a chat with them over a glass of wine on our first night. Renault blew my husband’s mind with his piano playing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is wonderful, very beautiful, great accommodations . A few minutes for Gordes, and with easy access to other villages. The breakfast is fantastic, with fresh bread , cooked eggs, cheese, and with the tips of Francois, the owner. There is a pool in the garden, it was amazing because of the very hot days in this summer. The room is quite far, with an astonishing view of the mountains . But, the key point is the lovely way that Francois and Annete deal with their guests. We felt in a true Provence home And they are always ready to help the guests with information, tips and whatever you need. In the last day, before we leaving, he still lend me his bike to ride a little in the streets of Luberon We strongly recommend stay in Mas des Etoiles
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The breakfast in the morning is the perfect start, the pool and facilities are just right and down to every detail. The location of the property makes it easy to explore stress free. Francois and His wife were very accommodating and made our stay very easy with the recommendations and assistance with bookings.
Cons: Having to leave!

Pros: The place is a magic place, the breakfast is perfect and Annette and Francois know how to welcome their guests. Room are clean and unique, the swimmingpool is amazing and all the spot is charming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francois and Annette are charming hosts and their lovely B&B is a great place to stay. Francois has a wealth of information about the area and provided excellent recommendations on everything we needed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As background, my wife and I have lived and travelled around the world and I had no prior knowledge of this particular establishment, although I had spent two weeks in Aix many years ago. I do not speak French and we rented a car in Aix. The location was superb: Just a short distance from Gorde, but in a quiet, accessible location (with free parking), it was an ideal base for exploring the wonderful villages and towns of Provence with short day trips. As for the place itself, that was also superb. The house is in the style of an old French country house, but really quite convenient with great living space, fine bathroom/walk-in shower, fantastic garden, and a wonderful outdoor patio area for relaxing and, each morning, partaking of a splendid breakfast. Really ideal. Finally, let me say that the hosts, Francoise and Annette, are charming and gracious, and available and helpful for reservations if desired or just general advice about the area. I know that giving all top marks in every category seems a stretch, but it is not in this case. Book early.
Cons: All was superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We originally booked for 2 nights and were so comfortable and welcomed we extended our stay another 2 nights! The room is very clean and fresh, amazing views and breakfast. Also well located to a range of swimming and hiking spots. Thanks again!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful B&B run by the charming Francois and Annette. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, then this is it. Breakfast, usually eaten with Francois while we discuss the day's plan, is absolutely delicious with the flakiest croissants we have ever had and the sweetest rockmelon. Our room was tidied each morning, whilst we were having breakfast. Location is excellent as we would drive to several villages and towns in the Luberon. Parking is great. Plenty of it! We made use of the swimming pool one afternoon which was great. Each afternoon Annettte would join us on the terrace whilst we'd have a drink from the terrace refrigerator, provided for the guests. You'd simply log (in a book) what you'd taken from the fridge and they would charge you on checkout. Room/bathroom was clean and spacious. Wifi was good. All in all, a delightful place to visit!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional hosts make a lovely atmosphere throughout the house. Everything is well organized, perfect for relaxing and exploring the beautiful Provence. Breakfast is very good and the garden where it's served just amazing . Hope we will be back soon . Thank you!

Pros: This is a very cute Provence house. Everything is beautifully decorated and made with love. Francos and Annette are very kind and hospitable hosts. We had a private house with a private backyard, and we really enjoyed it. Francos helped a lot with booking a restaurant for the evening and a recommendation for the region. Breakfasts at one table were an interesting experience, as if one big family had arrived. thank you for your hospitality! come back :)
Cons: Nothing
