Pros: Delicious breakfast featuring homemade items. Charming hosts with helpful suggestions of things to do in the area. They also made reservations for us at some of the excellent restaurants in the area.
Cons: It was a bit hard to find as the village has recently renamed the street. Got directions from a friendly restaurant in the town centre which we then went back to for an enjoyable evening meal.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fabulous find and so much nicer than our usual hotel stop overs on the way to our skiing holiday. The owner was charming and showed us his fabulous home which is full of amazing furniture and collectibles. The beds were very comfortable. Would be even better in the summer when you could take advantage of sitting on the terrace and looking over the beautiful gardens. The owner was very gracious about us arriving slightly later than planned even though we had ordered dinner. A very tasty three course meal for euro 22 accompanied by local red wine (18 euro) were very welcome after a full days driving. The breakfast was just as good - homemade yoghurt, fruit, croissants, boiled egg, ham, cheese, jams etc. What more could you want. All in all a fab find and somewhere we would hope to return
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome superb, the room first class, the food including dinner perfect, the hosts delightful; everything just wonderful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had the family room and it was spacious with chairs and a couch. A very comfortable room, where you could spend time if the weather gets bad or you need a break from travelling. We could have spend a few days there. The bathroom is gigantic. Nice big screen tv, comfortable beds with enough pillows and a desk. A very big veranda is right infront of the room with tables and chairs and couches on the patio. Nice view into the big garden. The breakfast was fantastic. Delicious yoguhrt, a fresh fruitsalad, a croissant and bread with marmalade, a boiled egg, ham and cheese. Good value for money. We recommend this B&B.
Cons: In summer it might get hot, there is a train going by behind the house and if the windows are opened you will hear it. This place has no airconditioning.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is quite easy to get to, but feels like it's out in the country. The pool is a nice touch. Breakfast is a full affair with eggs , meat and cheese, fruit, pastries, juice, jams, coffee, tea. Rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. Both of the restaurants are fabulous.
Cons: The room layout is a bit odd with the sink out in a corner and two separate rooms for shower and toilet. There is not much of a place for arranging your personal items like make up or toothbrushes. No place for the hand towels. The lighting was a bit dim for trying to apply make up.

Pros: This hotel is a gem! JC greeted us like friends, and even taught us french each day. The most welcoming, quirky, beautiful hotel I've stayed at, and would definitely stay again. The personal touch is so refreshing, and the breakfast is delicious!
Cons: My only recommendation would be for them to install more mirrors in the bedroom/bathroom, as we were two ladies who like to get ready at the same time! A full length mirror would be ideal.

Pros: Wonderful welcoming friendly, helpful and personable host. He accommodated our bicycles right in the hotel, in a side lobby near our room. Loved the whimsical, cheerful decor and the attention to detail that was reflected in the host’s choices. He has obviously thought about the room and milieu from the customer’s perspective. From easy WiFi access to an excellent bed, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Cons: No privacy as shared with owner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the whole experience - the location, the welcome, the readiness to help us find somewhere to eat and a wine tasting, nothing was too much trouble. Although there wasnt an ensuite, this posed absolutely no problem and the bathroom and toilet were absolutely spotless. The bed was soooooo comfortable! We had a walk around the village then went up to the table d'orientation. Then we went to the bar des vins in Saint Veran for an apero and then on to the moulin de Saint Veran for dinner and they were lovely and made the stay very memorable. In the morning Babette had sorted us a wine tasting and we left with several boxes of wine - loved it!
Cons: That we could not have stayed longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bambina recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner. Her place is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night, but I would highly recommend Bambina's place to anyone.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly host who was very welcoming, fun, communicative, and hospitable. It was a lovely end to a hectic day of work and a great place to unwind and forget about the mayhem of my job.
Cons: Nothing bad to report.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is absolutely stunning - surrounded by hills covered in Vineyards with uninterrupted views in every direction. The cottage had a great little kitchen (although could have had more equipment), and it was very attractively furnished. . We loved our night here, we had our own table and terrace and enjoyed our dinner while watching the sunset in total peace and quiet. Bambina was a great host.
Cons: The bed was comfy although I have not marked it excellent because the bedding was not as luxe as everything else - a bit lumpy. Also no aircon or even a fan is a problem on a hot night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and apartment
Cons: All good

Pros: Perfect location, facilities and kindness of the hosts. They contacted us to explain the route, received us on time, made the room comfortable and indicated (and drove us there) great wine producers in the region. We also found out that the start line of the Beaujolais marathon is 500m from his place which makes it a perfect lodging if you’re running it this year.

Pros: Lovely family and wonderful hosts, made us very welcome. Great place to stay as a base in the Beaujolais region, an ideal location to explore the surrounding sights & villages. Spacious accommodation with secure parking.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The reception was very good. The owner phoned to reserve a meal locally which was exceptional. The cat was also amazing and really friendly! It was very peaceful and calm.
Cons: Breakfast was included but this we found was disappointingly sparce. There was ample juice, butter, milk but only biscuits. The owner explained that we could walk to the village and get croissants and bread - which we did and they were delicious, but had we been wanting to get away early in the morning this would not have been convenient.

7.0 Good
Pros: This hotel was located in the countryside a short drive outside of Macon, France. Although we normally prefer more centrally located hotels, this one was located just down the road from a wedding we attended, so the location was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, even though it appeared to be a buffet service, someone appeared and brought us all the additional items we could've wanted (freshly cooked eggs, coffee, hot chocolate for the kids, etc.)
Cons: Even though it had a beautiful looking pool in the back garden, there was a sign up saying it was closed on Sundays (and we had booked our stay from Saturday afternoon where we were at the wedding until Sunday afternoon, when we would've used the pool).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was gourmand polite restaurant and atmosphere were excellent. Serving personal were diligent and very helpful along with being polite.....bravo! Thank you all for a wonderful experience and keep the good experience flowing.

Cons: The coffee at breakfast could have been a bit stronger - but that's just a personal preference.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast and beautifully furnished old forge. The hosts run an excellent bistro (where we had a fantastic meal) and posh resto in the village.
Cons: We rented all five rooms. Our only reservation was the quirky toilet design in our room (wooden toilet seat up a short open staircase) but I’m sure younger trendier guests would like it. Everything else was excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Full of ambience, very comfortable and delicious breakfast in communal kitchen.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Place with character. Old country building renewed but in a way to keep its climat. Owners 100% concern about the guests. We got a supper in late evening. Breakfast outstanding. I would visit the place again with pleasure.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The possibility for an evening meal is convenient, and the meal was lovely.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was elegant and comfortable, and we were pretty much given free use of one wing of the first floor. Our hostess, wife of one of the Beaupere family, was welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with a beautifully presented table and nice selection of food. A pity, then, that the first day's bread and pastries reappeared on the second day. Fresh bread and croissants is surely an absolute requirement in France. It did not spoil our day, but it did rather make us feel as if we were being taken for granted, particularly in view of our purchase of a couple of hundred pounds worth of the estate's wine.
10.0 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well located, surrounded by vineyards and within walking distance of the centre of Fleurie. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. Freshly cooked crepes were brought to our table! It really felt like being in the heart of Beaujolais with the hotel selling its own wine and by chance a wine fair taking place in the village while we were there. Enjoyed our overnight stay.
Cons: Room a bit on the small side.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice location, good view from the room. Good breakfast.
Cons: Several staff members made mistakes regarding my length of stay. Double bed was two single beds pushed together, beds were too soft, weirdly textured pillowcases. Just two hooks on the back of the door in the bathroom. No place to hang hand towels etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small but comfortable room. They staff put a fan in our room as it was extremely hot.
Cons: Breakfast selection could have been better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and very pretty. Loved the sunset on the terras. Rooms are clean and very okay for a short stay. Nice touch is that they sell Beaujolais!
Cons: The shower was a bit outdated.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, little hotel, surrounded by wine fields. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was delicious. The biggest plus for the children were the owners’ five cats, living on the hotel grounds, as well as the pool. The hotel serve a small selection of pasta dishes for dinner. There are a few restaurants in the village, 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel. It’s possible to by excellent, local wine at a cheap price at the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, amidst the wine ranks of Fleurie, at walking distance of the town centre. A true serene place to relax and enjoy the sun, food and wine of the beautiful Beaujolais. A very nice and welcoming host and a nice swimming pool to cool down (since we visited in July 2019). Comfortable, light rooms and an enjoyable breakfast.
Cons: The lack of air conditioning is the only merit I could think of. Add this and the hotel will be a true masterpiece.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners , staff, service and location were amazing. The pool was ideal too.
Cons: Not much to dislike with this hotel it met our expectations within a lovely location in the middle of vineyards.

6.7 Good
Pros: Leaving
Cons: We were in cramped room with no view
7.5 Good
Cons: Having to insist on a better room...the 1st not up to 2star standard...better room MUCH better . Piano not really well tuned !
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent shower. Good location for exploring Mâcon and for walking alongside the Saône.
Cons: The room was gloomy and quite cramped. We had requested parking on site, but space is limited and none was available. Unfortunately, the hotel's message explaining this never arrived so we were required to find paid parking on the street outside. To be fair, the hotel staff were very helpful with sorting this.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved it being on the river. The parking was excellent. Liked the collections of objects in the foyer.
Cons: Could have given each room more tea bags and milk, and perhaps a packet of biscuits or two.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming old style hotel with lovely, attentive staff. Take a room overlooking the river. Ample restaurants close by. Secure on site parking.
Cons: Perhaps a little tired but far preferable to glossy, corporate chain hotels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and fresh room. Really good bed for two adults. A stylish boutique kind of interior. Very nice fish restaurant within 8 min walking. The breakfast was one of the best I"ve ever had at an Hotel. Then I also should point out that I'm a business traveler since 30 years. Have been staying a lot within Best Western, but then mostly within Scandinavia. This hotel will definately be a favourite in the future, when travelling by car on holiday towards southern Europe from Sweden. Really nice.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very polite and the facilities were of a good quality.
Cons: There could have been a choice of bar snacks and simple meals as it was restaurant or nothing. All day bar food would have been an added advantage as there is little choice of restaurants nearby. Ideal location for visiting George De Beouf winery and the whole region.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The spa. The food.
Cons: Staff need training on clearing tables during meals.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and comfort once in property. Breakfast excellent breakfast.
Cons: Noise from road small room expensive for what we got.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We've been coming to this hotel since 1994. Still our favorite spot in the Beaujolais. Location is great, nice outdoor terrace for meals in the summer, nice atmosphere
Cons: The hotel recently renovated with a new wing and a state of the art spa. Unfortunately, not all facilities are fully available yet such as the gym being closed before 9 am, when most people tend to go to the gym. Also a pity that the large outdoor pool has been replaced by a much smaller and sleeker pool in the spa wing. No drinks are served there as opposed to the former pool.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel was'nt quite what we had envisaged.
Cons: The odour in the reception/breakfast area was a little off putting. The surrounds of the hotel and within the hotel grounds were in some respects unattractive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, in beautiful surroundings, very convenient for the motorway, however it felt like being no where near it with the peace and quiet in the middle of the vines. Excellent staff and lovely breakfast on the terrace.
Cons: It would be great if they could consider serving evening meals there too
7.9 Good
Pros: Unfortunately ran out of ham which was not replaced.
Cons: The photograph of the pool gave a unrealistic idea of the size which was disappointing as I'd intended to go for a swim. Only suitable for children really, size wise. It was necessary to go out to a restaurant to eat but they were not really withih walking distance as it mentioned on the website. We ended up at a very nice restaurant but it was up a narrow, winding road through the vineyards which obviously curtailed the amount of wine drunk. When we returned to the hotel expecting to have a drink we were told they stopped serving at 10 p.m. and it was 10 10 p.m. by now.
4.6 Okay
Cons: My wife and I stayed for 3 nights with our 8 month old. While the hotel is comfortable, from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very unwelcome. After breakfast on the first day, the manager/host suggested that maybe we shouldn't join for breakfast the next day as "it would be very busy so the other guests might complain about our baby". Until that point we had nothing but smiles from the other guests so we were quite baffled by this lack of hospitality. Needless to say we didn't come to breakfast again nor will we be returning to this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wine tasting, breakfast and service
7.1 Good
Cons: Both receptionists were unhelpful and tv Ariel in bedroom was not plugged in.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Being in the heart of the Beaujolais wine area. Nice bedroom. Good free car parking. A real nice ambiance.
Cons: No restaurant (except for breakfast) so we had to find one locally for dinner but the village does have several and is just ten minutes stroll down the quiet road.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Located on the ground floor, studios come with private terrace and entrance. Peaceful, beautiful surrounding.
Cons: Not very soundproof. Free wifi at times very slow and generally very basic, but seemed stable.
