Pros. Nothing will not be staying at this motel in the future
Cons. The motel is very out date, needs a serious up grade.
Pros. decent place for the money
Cons. sketchy people staying in the area
Pros. Nothing
Cons. Stained carpet, stained upholstery, dark creepy shower stall just like the movie "Psycho". Not even a mattress pad on the bed. Rude desk clerk unable to speak or understand English. I left the motel after 30 minutes and went down the road to another motel
Pros. Location of hotel
Cons. The staff put out a hand written envelope saying tips, it was definitely dirty and the beds were literally hard as rocks. They had shower gel in the shower but it was already used.
Pros. Close to DOWNTOWN, restaurants, drug store. Totally recommend
Pros. Good value
Cons. Not super clean Staff not so friendly
Pros. Spacious room. Free WiFi and cable.
Cons. Terrible customer service. Cockroaches on the bed. No toiletries for the bathroom at all. Charged me 15 dollars more than my reservation online was made for because I had my two year old with me.
Pros. Quiet and the owner was nice and pleasant to talk to once I arrived. Was offered a breakfast for the next morning.
Cons. I wasn't able to reach anyone for several hours after I booked the room, I wanted to confirm and infirm them I wouldn't be there till late. I ended up contacting this provided to notify the hotel that we couldn't contact them. When I called for directions, while on my way I was told it was exit 79, which was wrong, that was the total cost of the room if you were calling to book. Then I got to the hotel and was told my room was not in the Sands hotel, it was behind the Sands at this Inn And Suites (long term stay place) which people also live in as housing. The room itself was okay, definitely not worth the $75+ a night. There was what looked like a cockroach in the bathroom. I was so very tired from driving over 20 hours over the past day, so when I fell asleep I slept okay until twice I woke up because something jumped on my hand and then blanket. What kind of bug it was? I don't know..... But I was tired enough I just flicked it off and slept. My main issue is, is that rooms of this level of cleanliness or style and semi deceptive, should Not be able to charge these types of rates. Especially when your not even staying AT the place you reserved. i have stayed in worse hotels yes, but I was aware of what I was or wasn't getting and I wasn't paying such ridiculous rates.
Pros. Not bad for the money
Pros. The price is what attracted us to the Sands. Overall, it met our needs for this trip. The continental breakfast wasn't over the top but was enough (waffles, cereal, toast, coffee and juice).
Cons. The cleanliness was very lacking, but not completely unexpected for a budget motel. Also, the hot water couldn't really be called hot. It was barely warm enough for a shower, definitely not a bath. Not really a problem for me but it bugged my wife.
