Pros: Stunning tranquil setting Quirky buildings and accommodation Decent hosts without fuss Noe far from shops/facilities
Pros: It’s a lovely place, just we needed for our stop over on our way back to England from Spain. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped and my children loved the bunk beds. I wish we could have stayed longer and explored the local area and the rest of the facilities as it looked great. Our host was very welcoming too, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
Cons: Everything was great, I can’t think of anything else which could have improved our stay.
Pros: We stayed here one night only on our way to Lyon. The house was great, very spacious, comfortable and clean. Mark, the host, was easy to communicate to and accommodating. He even prepared the fireplace in advance of our arrival, so it was very cosy when we arrived. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. We would have loved to stay longer!

Pros: From our initial greeting at the property we knew we had made a good choice! Madame was very welcoming and efficient. The hotel was spotless. Our room, although basic, was large, comfortable and clean. We were welcomed in the evening by Monsieur with a handshake and he engaged in conversation with us. Madame explained the menu for the evening meal and it was an excellent dinner, as was our breakfast the following morning (fresh fruit, bread, croissant, yogurt, juice etc) ! We were given a kerbside send off by the couple and left feeling like family! We recommend this hotel highly!

Pros: Great location off the beaten track, but with good directions provided. Luc and Amelle provided a really warm welcome when we arrived and a really great dinner that evening. Breakfast was simple, but just right local cheeses and cold meats, home made preserves and plenty of coffee. Star gazing at night on the deck was brilliant. Would go back without question.
Pros: This was a mini resort! We were given a welcome drink, supper was simple but delicious and welcome as was the company of the other guests and our hosts
Pros: Swimming pool, WiFi, washing machine, optional 4 course evening meal cooked by Armelle and Luc for €19
Cons: Maybe could offer a pre-booked basics pack of bread, milk, cheese, juice etc as an additional service as the location is 6KM from nearest supermarket
Pros: Beautiful apartment. Lovely to have a swimming pool. Fabulous views over the fields and farmlands from our private terrace. Lovely meal with other guests and Luc and Armelle the new owners. Great hospitality. Nice drinks and snacks in the kitchen supplied for a very reasonable fee price- 1€ for can of drink or bottle of water
Cons: Difficult to find exact location. A washing machine would’ve been great, but that’s being super fussy!

Pros: We were upgraded to a magnificent room. The location was perfect. The staff were very polite, efficient and service minded.........and the restaurant was outstanding.
Cons: Poor quality of soundproofing in room. Being asked to leave the bar when we were still having a drink and bar closing too early
Pros: We arrived to an empty restaurant 10 minutes after breakfast ended. They were so kind to welcome us to a table and brought food out of the kitchen just for the two of us. Wonderful staff!
Pros: Polite, smart, efficient, professional. Nothing was a problem. Food superb.
Pros: Classy and comfortable
Cons: Nothing obvious
Pros: Atmosphere and plenty of French charm . Nice Gardens and pool . If you are looking for something different this is the place . Quirky place to stay .
Cons: No air conditioning but they did provide a van for the room .
Pros: Fantastic evening meal. Lovely service from all staff.
Pros: This has to be the most friendly place I have stayed - and I have travelled a great deal. Thea was a delightful host, a Dutch lady with excellent English. She and her husband made us feel very much at home with our dog. Their home is a renovated old property that has a rustic feel - very comfortable but not plush. With a very large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge the warmth of the fire and underfloor heating permeated the whole house on a cold November night. The bedroom was very clean with a good ensuite. The large double bed is LARGE and extremely comfortable with 2 memory foam mattresses. Thea was happy to make us dinner if we wanted it - the location is not close to restaurants. Breakfast was good and throughout Thea or her husband were happy to boil water for hot drinks when we wanted them. If you are travelling through France or want to stay close to the Magny Cours circuit then this has be be a good option. They also have a campsite with good grounds for walking the dog. After 5 weeks going round France and Spain this was a great stopover on our way home. Thankyou.
Cons: Nothing was wrong at all. Delightful place.
Pros: Very welcoming and accommodating hosts, beautiful starry sky, friendly horses, refreshing mini pool, friendly dogs, spacious characterful gite with bedrooms upstairs and good kitchen facilities inc toaster. Comfortable bed and characterful decor. Excellent value would definitely return.
Cons: A few bugs, but that’s expected in the countryside!

Pros: It is a motorhotel, and we could park our motorcycles in the garage. very good!
Pros: Very kind owner, clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet . Perfect for a stop over
Pros: great location and a nice quiet hotel in a sleepy village in the centre of France.
Cons: my squeaky shoes!
Pros: Clean, convenient, free toiletries and bottled water
Cons: All good
Pros: Room comfortable including the bed. Hot Tub - a great way to relax after a five hour journey and even though it wasn't ready the manager went out of his way to get it sorted for us. Although an extra €44 the dinner was five star standard with service, presentation and taste. This was our second visit and would definitely stay again
Cons: Although we rate this hotel highly we do think that at a rate of €61 per night it should include breakfast
Pros: A great stop over, traditionally French in that it is a little dated but it was clean, easy to park, a good nights sleep, aircon in the room, great beer in the bar and a Logis standard evening meal. Not salubrious but ticked all our boxes.
Pros: Very nice welkom, also underground garage was appreciated ! I would come here again if my destination is similar.
Cons: I think value for money
Pros: Perfect location just off the main road Friendly
Pros: Friendly staff, good secure parking for the motorcycle in underground garage. Food was fine in the evening and the breakfast was good value. I would stay again.
Cons: It was raining.

Le Petit Savriere B&B features a barbecue, garden and sun terrace, which can be enjoyed by guests if the weather permits. Pros: The owner was very friendly.
Cons: Our room was a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It had a small window that didn't open. We were downstairs in a house and upstairs was a French family with a cat and dog. Felt like we were in a cell. We paid for an evening meal because there was nowhere around locally. It was pretty poor for the money.
Pros: I had a marvelous stay at Le Petit Savriere and I highly recommend it. I felt very much welcomed by Donna and her family and their warmth and kindness made my trip an absolutely fabulous experience. My dog loved it too! The breakfasts were divine and the dinners absolutely delicious. Donna's husband is an amazing cook! Very thankful!
Pros: Wonderfully quiet getaway on the way to the south of France. Would love to stay there a bit longer and see the area the next time through.
Pros: Excellent and very accomadating hosts. Interior decoration with a lot of antiques. The breakfast was outstanding, a real treat !! Beautiful and quiet location. Tony is breeding honey bees and produces excellent honey. Bikers are very wellcome, and you can park your bike in the barn. Lovely, comfortable bed.
Pros: Very interesting story from the owners, coming from the UK. The entire property has been renovated by them, and the restaurant offering is very tasty while being open to special requirements. There are also 2 lovely dogs that my kids loved playing with.

Pros: The view.
Cons: I payd 3 nights and we stay just 1. Everything is sooooo old and durty. Is not a 4 star hotel, maybe 2 star. They need to make some improvements. In the bathroom was dampness. Is a big NO for them.
Pros: So very peaceful and quiet a little off the beaten track but well worth the visit
Cons: Breakfast very sparse
Pros: Chateau building is beautiful. Surrounding grounds stunning
Cons: Lunch and dinner service extremely slow. Took over 4 hours for 2 courses. Perhaps the French way but on first night sat for 45 mins before even getting the menus. Very disappointingly I left my garmin watch and called within 2 hours of leaving only to be told it wasn’t there. 3 weeks of back and forth was sent a rude email saying not their problem. After spending 1000s Euro’s between us it’s very disappointing that they have so little regard for personal property and have effectively condoned stealing.
Pros: Setting is delightful, remote, rural and idyllic. Staff were lovely
Cons: Menu though wonderful was restrictive.
Pros: Beautiful settings. Immaculately clean rooms. Food amazing.
Cons: The size of the en suite toilet very small in our room.
Pros: The food for lunch and dinner was so good and the view, the staff was friendly and helpful the atmosphere relaxing
Cons: There is nothing available next to the Château like market or supermarket you have to drive 7 M , the breakfast was poor.
Pros: Food was outstanding in beautiful location
Cons: Shower sprayed water all over the bathroom
Pros: Position,views, food,
Cons: Bumpy drive from the road
Pros: Took the offer of an up-grade. Lovely room. Air conditioner leaked and water dripped onto the floor. Had to leave the A/C off but as the evening was cool enough we were quite comfortable. We were not charged for the up-grade due to the faulty a/c which made us happy. Food was excellent.
Cons: Expensive place to stay which could do with a little sprucing up.
Pros: Lovely inside & outside spaces. Good sized bedroom with nice ensuite bathroom. Lovely reception rooms & pleasant dining areas. Excellent dinner and tasty breakfast choices.
