Pros: Dominic was so welcoming and charming she makes you feel so relaxed and at home. The room was so large and clean the bathroom as well, in fact you could have played football in there. Food was excellent so much to chose from at breakfast all fresh produce with home made bread The evening meal again was using fresh local produce more than value for money, in fact we gave extra euros when it was time to pay. One personal thing it would have been good to have back ground music playing in the dining room. Have recommended to family and friends, would stay again when in the area
Cons: Having to leave
Pros: Amazing hosts..couldn,t have asked for more.
Pros: The welcome was warm and friendly. The house is lovely and the hosts could not have done more to make us comfortable. We had tea making facilities......important to us! Our room was spacious as was the bathroom. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast was provided. We hope to return and stay longer!
Cons: Only the weather!
Pros: The lady was very kind and helpful as we arrived on the day of booking and very late. Breakfast was just lovely. Breads. Meat and cheese, fresh juice and tea.
Cons: Wish we stayed another night
Pros: The host's were very welcoming and hospitable. Very relaxing place to stay after a long day in the car in above average temperatures, therefore the pool was just a welcoming site. Clean, comfortable and fantastic breakfast had by the pool. Would definitely mark as a place to return.
Pros: The house is very nice, the room was very large. The owners are extremely welcoming and very friendly and helpful. The highlight was having our booked meal with the family. Would really love to return.
Pros: The house is beautiful and elegant. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is huge!
Cons: Location, though beautiful, was very quiet
Pros: The host's gave us hospitable welcome and heart-warming dinner. The rooms are so beautiful, what's more, the bathroom is so large that we could feel very luxury, elegant. If we have opportunity again, we'll visit there!

Pros: Its French rustic charm, lovely hosts and excellent breakfasts. Home made buns etc The owner and his daughter could not have done more to help us enjoy our very short stay.
Cons: Nothing bad to say.
Pros: comfortable large bedroom and great bathroom, nice host, very helpful re our delayed arrival due to weather
Cons: Bit tricky to find in the dark...but we made it.
Pros: Hospitality was absalutely amazing, we got lost and they drove around to find us. Breakfast was enough to feed 10 people. Great value for money. Really nice people.
Cons: Insects, but your in the country side so nothing you can do about it.
Pros: We were weary when we arrived after a long drive and were greeted with home made cake and coffee,we had an evening meal and the only fault 'there was too much's realy lovely three course meal in a beautiful French farmhouse. We sat outside with a glass of wine on a glorious evening.
Cons: That we hadn't booked for longer and spent our Golden wedding there, which we travelled on to Bergerac for.
Cons: Impossibe not to eventually hit your head on the crossbeam across the middle of room. Also, there was a centipede in bed.
Pros: The owners were pleasant & friendly. A kettle, fridge, hairdryer, TV & microwave were all provided. Very clean. Comfy beds. Warm & cosy.
Cons: Low ceilings crossed by large beams were an issue for both myself at 5ft 5in & my husband (6ft 2in).
Pros: Lovely bread and home made jams for breakfast.
Pros: The pool and garden were just what we needed after driving all day and arriving in a thunder storm which cleared quickly. The upstairs accom was great.
Cons: It was raining heavily when we arrived and the number 3 on the fence is very faded. The picture on booking.com is different from what you see from the road and no where does it say L'Aubinoise. There is a gite notice on the fence but we weren't "looking for "a gite" as that's not in the booking.com wording. But they did come and find us at a local shop.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
Pros: The host Sabrina was lovely and very accommodating. The location was terrific and staying in country France was amazing.
Cons: I really do not like to be negative but the booking the owner had was different to the one I made. Yhe biggest negative was that the room does not have any ventilation. It was so stuffy and didn't really cater for more than 2 people and we booked for 5.
Pros: The location, a beautiful village, perfect for our quick stop-over and the breakfast! though was no English breakfast tea but we had her own, so no biggie!
Cons: I would have preferred cotton sheets rather than the mattress protector ones, which i didnt really like.
Pros: Unusual property, lovely lady proprietor, nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: R A S .
Pros: Brilliant location and facilities, just as advertised but in reality better. Breakfast great, owners great, couldn't have asked for more.
Pros: the garden
Cons: Too many steps, bed was lumpy, un aired, no tea making fascilities, not offered a cup on arrival.

Pros: Christophe is very kind, nice breakfast!
Pros: The owner is a friendly and personable guy. Good level of the English language for those struggling with French. His love of animals was the primary reason for booking, we took our dog. The most surprising aspect was the food that was served. All the meals, including the breakfast jam, were homemade during each day with ingredients he'd grown himself or sourced from local suppliers. They were gourmet level. Completely unexpected at his prices. Room was spotless and he'd even included items such as personal hygiene products. Highly recommend the Relais if you have a budget but hope for top shelf meals. 10/10 for Christophe and the Relais des Songes. Alan
Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer ! One of his two dogs, a Lab puppy called OB1 was adorable. So- there's nothing to mention on dislikes.
Pros: Bed comfortable and room quite clean. Good location for travelling to Bordeaux via Nantes.
Cons: Room was tired and basic as was the shower room. Requires renovating. The dinner was adequate but no choice of courses. Cristophe, the proprietor, was helpful but appeared to be the only member of staff in the hotel.
Pros: the ambiance, the friendliness of the proprietor, the food and wine.
Pros: Very nice host, comfortable bed nice traditional homemade French breakfast...
Cons: Basic room, (hardly superior) little to no facilities in or out of the room! No 24hr reception! Shame...
Pros: Host was exceptionally accommodating, very friendly and speaks good English. Courtyard was relaxing to sit in (and keep our motorbikes safe). Room was sufficiently comfortable if a little cosy. Home made breakfast, including bread, brioche, yoghurts and jams were very nice, with local honey etc. It's a family home, so be prepared to play with the cat and dogs
Cons: Aside a busy road, so might want to consider this if you want a peaceful stopover, however, and I must stress this, it didn't impact our enjoyment. Property has a pleasent courtyard and garden to escape in.
Pros: Not a lot very average
Cons: Very bad smell when we arrived ,going upstairs to room smell got worse, room was very cold as heating not on disappointed with the room, very basic no television in room & one plug for charging I pad &two phones, very small shower no heating,we feel it wasn’t suitable for letting in winter, breakfast was okay.
Pros: Great place: Peaceful, pretty and easy to find. Christopher is a great host and a fabulous chef. The hotel is friendly, comfortable and spacious. Not posh but it offered everything we need. It was quirky and unique and the courtyard and massive walked gardens make it ideal for children and pets. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot. We will return there as soon as we can. Thanks Christopher for a lovely safe break away for it all. Highly recommended and dinner was one cooked and amazing!
Cons: We loved everything!
Pros: Spacious rooms, with everything you need. A good place to stay also when traveling with a dog!
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: Owner sent us to a restaurant when he knew well nothingwould be open. Not very warming place and out on a limb
