I liked the location of the hotel, in a nice countryside but still close to the city and the fact that it was very calm. The decoration of the suit was nicer then the one of the room.
a nice landscape and tranquillity. the hotel has not high stardards of conforts.
Spacious rooms, calm, good insulation. Breakfast buffet okay with beautiful view on the green Very few cutlery in the kitchenette and not a single item useable before previous washing. Lacking general cleanliness, missing curtain in one room where the blind had to be down day and night. Misleading appelation of swimming pool: Is is a paddling pool without shade.
The Hotel was very convenient for the location I was visiting.
The staff were extremely friendly The rooms, whilst comfortable and clean, could do with updating/modernising
The reception staff were particularrly helpful.Everything was superb and we were very pleased to have the oportunity to stay there owing to special mothers day price. No bad points
The hotel was a good price and parking was easy and relatively well signed. It is only really practical if you have a car as it is a long way from Montpellier centre and not sure how frequent they have buses. WiFi was not free but not unreasinably priced. Gym looked good and if you play gold it is excellent. Swimming pool is not practical for doing any swimming.
this is one very special hotel! the hotel is newly fitted to a very luxurous standard. Felt 'wrong' for business accomodation but wow a very nice place to come for romance. a restaurant is desperately needed.
Excellent high-class luxury hotel with all facilities. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent meals. Beautiful environment. Expensive but value for money.
Very classy and beutiful hotel in an serene setting in the centre of vineyards yet only aa few minutes away from the centre of Montpelier and the autoroute. the reception staff were extremely friendly and efficient, we received an upgrade! The room was full of lighting, so unlike most French hotels, and there was even a Vaio computer and printer in the room with free internet, the printer even had paper! The food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. The service at Dinner was cheerful and attentive and the wine froim the estate was good and not expensive. The only downside to the whole stay was that the waiter at breakfast was a little morose!
The hotel was beautifully presented with a mixture of old and modern decor very tastefully done. It was peaceful and offered a wonderful sanctuary from the bustle of the beach and the city at the end of the day. The food and service were both excellent. There was a tennis court on site which we used regularly. It was rather expensive (especially with the current sterling/euro exchange) but probably in line with similar establishments, the breakfast for example cost Euro 25 each if you wanted scrambled eggs (ie something cooked) and Euro 18 each for the continental choice. Our room did not have a mini bar so we had to buy our water from the hotel every day which again was quite expensive (Euro 8 for a bottle I think).
Wonderful setting - extremely comfortable and relaxing Room had a wonderful Alessi Bathtub with jacuzzi, but it was broken and not fixed during the stay. It was very disappointing.
This is most definitely the most stylish hotel we have stayed in. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms superb, large, chic and contempory with no expense spared, we loved having our own personal computer in the room as well as a nespresso machine. The spa facilities are also excellent. We ate on the terrace both evenings, overlooking the pool and gardens and the food was of a high standard and beautifully presented and the staff were all extremely efficient.
Lovely, modern, small hotel in quiet setting with pleasant outdoor areas and excellent restaurant and spa. Particularly pleasing bedrooms and plenty of parking.
The room and hotel were very well put together, the furnishings and fittings are superb and of a very high quality. There are no staff on in the evening and no facilities. We were warned that on Sun & Mon the restaurant is closed, what they meant was the whole hotel was empty of staff. The receptionists all of whom were excellent go at about 7pm and we were left with a key to let ourselves in and out, the bar was closed and no drinks hot or cold are available. So dissapointing and not what you expect for £150pn
Quiet Ants in the bedroom and poor service in the restaurant
Nice room, nice surroundings No air conditioning
The staff were very good and the resturant had good facilities. The hotel directions and signs were not accurate and the change of the hotel ownership should have been forward to us.
Check-in process and permanence of staff was ok The room was too small and not adapted for 3 persones contrary to what was annouced at check-in
The bathroom was recently renovated to a relatively high standard for the price. The hotel was located approximately 10mins by taxi from Montpellier and a 20min walk from the tram station, so not very convenient. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.
Dinner in the restaurant was good and good value. Room very small and not clean
Location for our wedding party Swimming pool (small but nice) Size of the room
Food Service towards public transport missing
The Studio Room (6) had a bad smell of sewage, we think from the pipe that runs down through the room from toilets upstairs.
Nice staff - nice swimming pool - clean Far from city - hard bed
Location and breakfast
Exactly what we needed for a 2 nights stay. We booked a triple room but the online system registered us as a single room. Fortunately, the clerk was able to change that.
Booked a studio with kitchen and had a room with a fridge. No special fare for wedding whereas this was agreed previsouly
correct for the price.good breaksfast
The staff were friendly and obliging and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal. Lovely unspoilt location with fantastic views from the pool area.
Very spaceous rooms, friendly and helpfull staff, nice swimmingpool with beautiful view.
Quite adequate, and the food at the L'orange Bleue was above average. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent for the price. No internet available in the rooms.
Certainly not a 3 star hotel
Very funky rooms. Restaurant separate, seemed strangely detached, so ate in local town.
Air conditionning in the room was very much appreciated.Decoration of the room is nice. There is a small kitchen but without anything to cook and eat (no plate, no fork, no knife, no pan). We stayed 2 nights but in between the beds were not made.
quiet, nice swimming pool, kind personal,distance to beaches and cities in theneighbourhoud, price, thin wall , noice from neighbour rooms;
Marvellous old building. The patron was extremely friendly and helpful, genuinely nice guy! None
We were warmly welcomed and the parent and kids rooms were comfortable. The dinner was fantastic, gourmet home cooking, not to be missed. The owner is very friendly. It felt like being transported back in time. More like a family B&B than hotel. Breakfast was good too! TVs are tiny, but that is not why we were there.
Very clean & comfortable and the Manager was extremely helpful.
it was quite toilet facility
The hotel staff were very helpful & sometimes went out of the way to help. A refreshing change with hotel stays.
The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The restaurant food, and the pichet wine (AOC Cabrieres) was very good .
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Very good restaurant. With the weather conditions we experienced we either had banging doors or an airless room (no a/c)
Unusual and different type of hotel, but quite charming. Staff were very polite and helpful. Resturant was also good. The approach to the hotel was a little off putting, and room a little confined, but you could sit outside which was good.
