10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything from the moment we arrived until we left. I would come back again to enjoy Luc our host to the accommodation to the beautiful place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luc and his son Mike made me feel like family. They were welcoming and went out of their way to help me, whether it was parking the car (St Paul is not the best place to have a car), schlepping my luggage, recommending a shop or restaurant and so much more. The apartments (I ended up staying in both) were lovely and there are so many interesting artifacts and books that I was torn between sightseeing and staying home. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking gourmet meals and the mini fridge was chock-full with complimentary drinks and food. There was even a bouquet of fresh red roses.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location. Luke was an excellent host who brought us our daily bread. He even offered to do our laundry for us.
Cons: The apartment could have come with a laundry machine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped apartments. Very comfortable beds. Interesting layout and decore. Perfect location inside the ramparts of a gorgeous village.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful apartment, nice view, very clean, very artistic, very cost and homey feeling, great host, Luc and Mike were very helpful and very hospitable people. Room size is big, breakfast is very good also.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luc, the host, and his family are genuinely warm and welcoming. They were wonderful and made us feel right at home. The location couldn't be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such warmth from Luc and his son Mike who showed us the beauties of this sun-graced, flower-drenched town, and were our best spirits there. Scrupulous in their attention to everything thoughtful and beautiful that could make our stay easy and charmed—first the perfect careful welcome to make sure we made it into the hilly city without trouble on a rare night of thunder; then the lovely comforts and artistic details of the suite that felt carved into the hill; the perfection of the morning’s pastry offerings outside the door; above all, the good fellowship of Luc and his son as they gave us the morning tour of the town, made sure we had the finest dinner opportunities, and shared a drink with us at the Colombe d’Or, followed by an art tour by Luc in the restaurant’s inner shrine. A couple or family of four could be very comfortable in the upstairs suite; much can be done in the well-stocked foldaway kitchen; lovely times can be had simply savoring the bathroom. The wonderful terrier called Wookie keeps watch at the door and will visit your suite if you like. Tilleul is a gorgeous indoor-outdoor cafe for bathing your eyes in the mountains around; for a lunch table there, arrive before noon. Caruso was our classy, scrumptious, gracious resource for surprisingly inexpensive superb dinners and wine, first in the intimate, cool vaulted dining room, then the next night outside on the Place de l’Eglise with the same charming service and same burst of red gladiolus by our sides.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Luc is the perfect host. He and His son Mike were so welcoming and made our stay very memorable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place on the earth
Cons: We didn’t want to leave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautifully decorated, plush soft towels, amazing bathroom. Host was so kind and generous. He knew my husband had dairy intolerance, so he filled the fridge with alternatives. Brings croissants, baguette and pain au chocolat every morning. Available and responsive. Just a charming place, host and village

The Villa itself is situated in a well maintained Mediterranean garden, with lots of space for guests to either relax in the shade or sunbathe on loungers. Very clean pool. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful villa in a quite place near Nice. Very friendly hosts, good breakfast, clean and cozy rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place to stay - tucked away below Saint Paul. David and Jeanette are a charming couple who couldn't do enough to make our stay as nice as possible. We spent 2 quiet weeks lazing and unwinding in the garden by the pool, hardly venturing out during the day, then strolling up to the town for dinner. We were sad to leave!

Pros: Sweet and friendly owners at a wonderful location
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice big room, comfortable bed, good wifi, if the weather had been better (15.00hrs to 04.00hrs following day thunder storm and heavy rain that took out electric at times) the outside area and pool would have been great to use.

Le Clos 67 - Saint-Paul-de-Vence - Bedroom
6
9.4 Excellent (107 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Le Clos 67 is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Polygone Riviera and Chateau Grimaldi. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: One word sums up this property - hospitality. The owner was very welcoming, and went out of her way to meet our needs; she was a little bit of a tour guide and a strong promoter of her town. She had maps, and directions. We used the pool until 10:30pm, no problem. Extra towels were made available for the pool. We were given a key to the gate, and we came and went as we pleased. Private room, with our own entrance. A hair drier was available in the room, and a very small fridge to keep some drinks and some fruits cold. A screen was installed to block the view of the adjacent room. Being as we are gluten-free, she even went to the store and bought a loaf of gluten-free bread for our breakfast, which she gave us to take on departure. Breakfast consisted of coffee, fruit juice, croissants, baguettes (in our case, gluten-free bread), home made jams, fresh fruit salad, and some yogurt.
Cons: These are not complaints (we have none), but rather a few comments that some renters might want to know. Even with GPS, finding the property was a little challenging. It would be very hard to access this property without a car. And the driveway is long, and narrow, and VERY steep. Make sure you know how to operate your car’s clutch (but this is true for most of the towns in this region). Visiting the sights and Saint-Paul-de-Vance would also require a car. Reportedly mosquitoes could be a problem later in summer, but we didn’t experience any. We didn’t mind, but the property does have several rental suites, so you might not be alone. Again, we didn’t mind at all, but some might want to know that the owner has two well-mannered, well trained dogs (a Labrador and a poodle) - they were visible at times, but pretty much stayed well away from the guests - no problems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Le Clos is in a beautiful location with amazing views. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and clean. We had a fantastic view towards Saint Paul de Vence towards the setting sun with the mountains in the distance. Fabienne and her husband are very kind and helpful. They are excellent hosts. The pool is beautifully situated. We had great fun playing with the inflatable duck.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was good.

Pros: the host was amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to begin and hard to stop when sharing our delight with this lodging. Fabiene and Christopher our hosts were spectacular—warm, attentive, fun, and absolutely focused on making our stay exceptional. The room (upgraded at no charge as we were the final booking of the season) was beautiful, had every amenity and a beautiful western view through the glass French doors to be able to enjoy sunsets. Fabiene’s breakfasts were delicious, especially her homemade preserves (orange and mandarin) and and we were so happy to have her join us at the table in the morning to talk about our previous day and our current day’s plans.
Cons: Not a thing!

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool, with poolside bistro served gorgeous food at lunchtime and in the evening.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room (very large double and 1 single bed) was large, very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool area was lovely.
Cons: The breakfast cost extra (€15 per person) and was completely self service. We even had to make our own coffee, and cooked breakfast was not refreshed during the service. Hotel is c. 25 minutes walk from St Paul de Vence village. Very few staff around, and reception often not manned. There was a pantry with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and an honesty box but it meant that you had to pay for water, tea and coffee which would normally be provided free in the room. Dinner was available by the pool but only a set menu of €45 which was high compared to restaurants in the village.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely comfortable and agreeable. The style of the property was pleasing, the room we had was comfortable and clean and well appointed. The staff were terrific, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff we dealt with could speak English, even if we tried our French on them, but they did not make our efforts feel inadequate! The outside areas, including the outdoor lounges, the pool surrounds and grassy areas were extensive and were never busy - there was always space to relax. The pool is a good size, that allowed for serious swimming, if that is your thing. All in all, a terrific place to stay. Far enough out of town to provide a feeling of space, but close enough to St Paul-de-Vence and other towns to be convenient.
Cons: Nothing!

Cons: Road outside could be busy and noisy at times. Breakfast was ok, if you paid for the ‘full-breakfast’ you will survive till dinner. The ‘light-breakfast’ was not really worth the €12.00 per person, for a few pastries, juice, coffee. Otherwise to eat this in the dining area was delightful!

Cons: Although Booking.com site does say that credit cards are not accepted, the info is on page 3/4. Suggest credit card info is put on first page
7.9 Good
Pros: Easy to find, lovely owner, parking. Comfortable room, great breakfast with a stunning view. Good value for the price in that area.
Cons: Some bits outside a little scruffy, broken wood and pots, not in the main garden which is very beautiful but around the studio where we stayed.

Pros: Courtesy of the staff. Not at the city center but close enough by car. We only stayed for 1 night so we did not use the hotel facilities. Pool seemed good.
Cons: No mini bar at the room, you need to order before 10:00 pm.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view from the balcony in our room, which was on top floor of the building. The pool area was ok, but also a bit outdated för a 4 star hotel.
Cons: Main road traffic next to the premises was a bit disturbing if you consider the price of the room. Room extremely small and needs refurbishing, not 4 star quality, but 3. This also goes for the breakfast. No restaurant in the hotel and dangerous to walk and cross the main road leading to St Paul (a 20 minutes walk, not 10 and very dark). No safe in the room. sWe will not return to this hotel since standard to low in relation to price.

Cons: Nothing I can think of...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this property, staffs very friendly, food is good, location is great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Le Hameau is intended to enchant. the exquisite natural landscape enhanced by all of the flowers, the decor, the personalized attention to cuisine, the teeny rooms filled with antiques...
Cons: If I had one minor complaint it would be that water should certainly have been available in the rooms or by the pool or in the library in the muggy heat of August. As it was, I had to inquire several times and never received any..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely warm and friendly atmosphere inspired by excellent staff. Beautiful hotel, pool and gardens with view over hills and valley. And only 10 minutes walk to St Paul de Vence.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Charming and pretty, nice pool, hot tub and view.
Cons: Only 1 of the 2 bedrooms had air conditioning. There were very strange and strict rules about not bringing any outside food to the room or the pool - you had to buy from the hotel, which was expensive and very inconvenient and choices were minimal. Would not stay again for this reason.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings.
Cons: High price, breakfast should be included. We booked an apartment with two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and a kitchen. There were no basic supplies at all in the kitchen like f.i. salt, pepper, sugar, soap. In the bathrooms there was no soap, no tissues, no toiletries at all! Very strange since there was a daily hotel service! At the swimming pool the beds and cushions as well as the towels were in a very bad shape!

Pros: Superb, spacious and clean accommodation in beautiful gardens.
Cons: Can't fault it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The garden and pool were fantastic and the whole experience was very tranquil. There was freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast and the room itself was very charming with shutters opening onto a private little terrace. The owners were both very kind and attentive. Would definitely go back!
Cons: The WiFi could’ve been stronger but having said it’s really not the kind of place you’d want to be on your laptop anyway!

Pros: That a B&B charged extra for breakfast, a bit of a surprise..! Breakfast was very nice, fresh, but pretty basic. A few years ago they served poached eggs etc, now just croissants, bread etc a standard continental breakfast..
Cons: Rate advertised including breakfast in the price..! Variety for same..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden area and wonderful location for Monaco and St Paul de Vence (must visit place).
Cons: We did have to ask for things that were meant to be standard; e.g. hairdryer, pool towels. Apart from that it was a lovely place.

Pros: Hosts were friendly and helpful. Bkfst was outstanding with delicious homemade preserves. Our studio apartment was spacious, sunny and had views forever. Loved big old heavy gate and entrance door. Pool was a welcome relief after a busy day.

Cons: Many business guests smoking front of the door, which makes awkward to go to the swimming pool or the garden.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: No WiFi for three days, gym machinery not well maintained
6.7 Good
Pros: Hotel is cool with interesting art, tennis court and nice pool area. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Small spa with steam room and a real sauna is also a bonus.
Cons: Hotel is beautiful on the outside but it leaves you cold inside. I felt it lacks some personal touch. Some staff even lack customer service attitude; for example, I was looking for a house keeper and run into a lady from the reception, and she just said to me ”I’m not a cleaning lady”. Nothing like ”What’s your room number, I’ll pass your message to the right person”. I got the impression that some of the staff behaved like they were working in an art exhibition rather than in a hotel. However, when I finally found the housekeeper, she was very nice and friendly. Also breakfast was pricey for what you get. You should also be aware that you need your own car because the access to bus transportation was difficult (reception could not even give us proper directions to a bus stop).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpfull, restaurant food has improved immensely since our last visit and is value for money.Location is great for visiting St Paul or Vence .Nearby is a wood where you can walk your dog.

Pros: Nice location, nearby forest. Silent, modern and high comfort level. High class restaurant and premium master chief. Reception ... polite and helpfull. Room cleaning done daily, very good. Huge garden, nice park around, very good facilities - big pool, parking secured, tennis ...
Cons: Service level during breakfast should be improved - we staied 2 weeks and things changed for good last 3 days (a new person came to monitor the breakfast). Also there is need for more cleaning around the pool.
