Pros: The mattress was comfortable, the water was hot and the waitress was friendly.
Cons: The proprietor was very unfriendly unhelpful and rude. The room was dirty, especially under the bed where we found dirt, ear plug, hair grip. The bed cover was filthy. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Pros: The owner of the hotel was extremely helpful to us. He is English and gave us all the help we could ask for in planning further stages of our walk on the Chemin de St Jacques. The food was delicious. We made the most of the location by strolling down to the river for a quick swim in the evening. He even gave us his card and invited us to ring him if we had any difficulties later in our walk. So kind!
Cons: On the descent into town on the Camino we missed the sign to the hotel, so had a bit of difficulty finding it. Fortunately it appears on Google Maps. The room was clean with a very nice view out over the valley, but rather dated. However, this did not detract from the pleasure of our stay.

Pros: The owners Jaap and Ahmed are very welcoming and social. We had dinner with them on the first night of our stay which Ahmed cooked perfectly. It was one of the best dinners we had during our 2-week trip. Also the breakfast was very tasteful. Ahmed made us cupcakes on the first morning and homemade pancakes the two mornings after. From Art et Création we could make nice trips to nearby cultural sites and do a hiking trip from a nearby village.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: It would be a good idea to add a small fridge and a kettle for tea or coffee in the common room when you come back from walking, the village being very isolated.
