Pros: St. Thomas is my hometown, so I am no stranger to the island. I was not at all too familiar with Tillett Garden; however the people I met that I stayed with were very friendly and I made friends with some of the guest and we hung out together. The restaurants were a plus to the guesthouse - great food!!! Snow White Bare and Grill is the Best!!!

Pros: It was affordable and a perfect spot for my daily commute. The apartment is lovely. I didnt share my room with anyone but persons from other areas came in to use the common space which were the living room and kitchen.

Pros: It was a nice, comfortable hostel. It is a cheap place to stay in Virgin Islands. The hostel is pretty close to restaurants, beaches, bars, etc. You can always catch a cheap safari taxi, which passes right near the hostel, and in 15 minutes you can be at Red Hook, which is a popular bar and restaurant section of St Thomas. The ferry to St John's Island, the British Virgin Islands, St Croix is also located in that area. You can also meet some really cool people during your stay at the hostel.

Pros: Everything seems out ow of earth here. It gets you immediately in contact with the island vibe. Very cozy, colorfull, and also a safe place. Close you have Walgreens, Wendy's and the safari bus stop which can lead you to many beaches and the ferry boats. Most beautiful part anyway it's the people in the hostel, everybody so kind, helpful and chill. Your experience in the islands would not be the same if you don't stay here trust me.

Pros: The location, common area because of the TV & Kitchen. No cleaning staff on duty daily therefore areas & rooms are left dirty. The areas also lack cleaning supplies for individual's such as myself to clean sink , bathrooms, or tables.

Cons: The guest house should have a cleaning crew, even though we were told to clean up behind ourselves some do not do a good job at doing this. They also need to work on house rules. I was in the girls dorm room; some were not clear on when on how men should enter into the girls dorm area - not cool at all. The manager (a male) came in to bring in a guest because the property manager was not available. I heard a males voice coming down the hall and I was in the room with the door closed. I said out loud hello!!! I knew he heard me and instead of saying can I come in he just open the door. That was inappropriate - good thing I was dressed.... Then I was told to clean my room - not by him, but someone that he communicated with to tell me - I thought that was very unprofessional. There was no one else in the room with me at the time and there was nothing to be cleaned. Since I payed my money to stay in this room I should not be told how to keep my personal space when it is not inconveniencing anyone. I would say be a watchman when you are staying there and be on your guard and ask questions if you are not sure what the rules are.

Pros: The property had everything I needed as a solo traveler and was conveniently located in a central location on St. Thomas.
Cons: Slightly more attention to detail could have been paid in the cleaning of the room/dorm. I did a bit of sweeping myself upon arrival when noticing a few bits of trash left behind by previous guests.

Cons: The bottom mattresses on the bunk beds need to be changed. They have lost their form and there are deep indentions which makes it somewhat uncomfortable. The place was clean when I first arrived, but it was starting to get a little dirty towards the end of my 6 day stay. Expecting six guys who are paying customers to keep the place clean is not realistic, especially since everyone in America expects room service to come and clean the place.
