9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms in a typical style
Cons: Rooms too close to the main route
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location, the little cabana rooms and the swimming pool and bonus is the horses around . The breakfast is amazing and the views. Very good location, just a few minutes away by car or can walk to Sainte Marie de la mer
Cons: Well we had our little dog and they do not accept dogs, so we did not feel comfortable, also no service of drinks around the pool. The terrace of the rooms are not comfortable furniture
4.0 Okay
Pros: The grounds and setting of the property.
Cons: The pricing is way too high for the standard of the rooms, @ 200€ per night in the off season in March ! definitely not a 4 star hotel by any means. We stayed in a cavalarie room 3 pax (very small) old, rundown and outdated with no tea or coffee, kettle. There is a shower nozzle in the bath, however you cannot hold it to wash out your hair as the handle burns you and there is no hook on the wall to connect it to? Very unsafe. The TV was meant to have English stations, as we wanted news on the Corona Virus, however it wasn't working in our room. A staff member came to re tune the TV but they didn't know how to do it, however no apology or discount offered upon checking out. They had post it notes on the bathroom mirror, really 4 star ??? and the mirror in the hall was corroding, old peeling paint, decaying loose decking around the main pool ( see pics) Not really what u expect for a 4 star way to operate and at 200€ per night in the cheapest accommodation. The horse riding was overpriced @ 100€ pp private 2hr ride and we didn't receive the tour we paid for with riding and galloping on the beach. We just walked, and never rode on the beach, so we could have paid the cheaper 40€ price and gone with others instead. The horse my daughter rode bolted at the sound of her tying her jacket around her waist and she was thrown off - luckily into the scrub! I have broken, bred, ridden & trained horses for 45+ years and I think even I would have come off in the same situation as the horse was running blind, ran right through trees and uneven scrub and lost its footing, almost falling down completely a number of times. Properly broken horses, especially used for tourists of all standards of riding, should not BOLT for this very normal and expected situation or to jump sideways when you have to slap a mosquito biting your leg !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Parking, cleanliness, staff generally very pleasant. Lovely upmarket resort feeling. Wildlife and scenery
Cons: Extremely hot water in the cavaliere triple room bathrooms. Our son burnt his arm. A little surprised to find that fish of day in the pont de banned restaurant was salmon in the Camargue!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room very clear. Best location. Breakfast perfect.
Cons: The bed may be better and room very small.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely cabanas! Friendly staff. Horseback riding was amazing
Cons: Breakfast is not really up to standard. Freshly cut fruit looked two days old. Charcuterie was not so qualitative.
7.0 Good
Cons: pricewise a bit a high end location, otherwise ok. Restaurant ok. Rooms ok. nothing exceptional, but ok. Basic rooms are very very basic and simple.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Awfully small rooms - if I knew would never have booked - photos taken very wise to make it look like a decent size room although you walk into bed - upset to bits on arrival especially mind it is in the marshlands/so in total mud

4.6 Okay
Cons: Over rated - the property was rated as a 4 star, but few hotels of that caliber have astroturf for carpet in the balconies and hallways. I was glad they provided slippers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great spot, staff nice.
Cons: All good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was lovely. The room facilities were excellent but to expected for the price.
Cons: The decor. For this to work it needed to be beach front.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable rooms with a patio Coffee machine in the room and also a teakettle was nice. We didn’t try the breakfast. Pool looked good but we didn’t use it. Good location close to the centre with a lot of restaurants.
Cons: Room could have been bigger and also the bathroom. Otherwise great!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Location in walking distance of restaurants, shops and seafront.
Cons: No parking near the hotel. Had to park some distance away and wheel suitcases along pavements and across roads to the hotel. We had a room on the first floor, but there was no lift, which was a problem for my wife who has difficulty with stairs. In our room the toilet was separate from the bathroom and had no wash basin in it. Highly unsanitary. No bidet in the bathroom. On our first day we went out to walk around the village and came back at 2 pm with our lunch, only to find that our room had not been cleaned. We were in the middle of our lunch when the cleaner arrived and told us that we would have to stop eating and leave our room so that she could clean it. We refused, so that our room didn't get cleaned. When we complained at reception, a blazing row followed with no apology for the bad service. The hotel itself appears tired and in need of refurbishment. Our balcony had old astro turf, there were cracks in the walls and the plants looked half dead. Indeed outside by the swimming pool a whole tree and shrubs were dead. Our room overlooked the next door property which was most ugly and unsightly. Our bill for three nights was nearly €600, very poor value for money.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to explore the Camargue from, and a very good breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved every aspect of this hotel. A big friendly welcome. All the staff were really really helpful, the room was furnished in a cool beach style. The restaurant menu offered a great choice and the food was lovely. In fact we enjoyed our stay so much we extended our stay.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and spacious room, with excellent A/C, a helpful and attentive staff, excellent and varied breakfast.
Cons: Overcrowded pool on a summer season day. Parking not private, it takes you some time to find nearby spots.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel reception were extremely helpful. I wanted to ride in the Camargue and she recommended an excellent place with a guy called Claudio. Instead of riding with 20+ other riders there was myself and one other person who went out with Claudio and another English speaking instructor. For 3 glorious hours from 4.30 until sunset we rode across the Camargue cantering along beaches and through lakes of flamingoes. Claudio proudly telling us all about the area and wildlife.
Cons: Mosquitoes! Hey but everything has a price!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very friendly staff, breakfast v good, I was missing an area with water cooker and a microwave, there is no bar in the hotel and traveling with kids would be easier if one could prepare simple meals
Cons: sanitary comditions of the bathroom could be improved.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Unfortunatly it wasn't really cleaned properly, hairs, dust and dead insects... When we came about 7 years ago, it was great though. We were dissapointed.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Bath was not clean. Plug bath didn't function
6.3 Good
Pros: The facilities are amazing! Quiet...well located...I will DEFINATELY return there....I wish they could consider my opinion and pay more attention to the cleanness of their bathrooms....
Cons: It was not cleaned ... We arrived late in the night...and we wanted to relax with a bath....but the bathtub was just dirty...we couldn't use it...the lavatory was the same...
7.1 Good
Pros: arrived early evening and had to leave very early - but loved that the place was away from the main stretch and felt more peaceful - bathrooms were good - newly decorated to high standard. wold have loved to have spent the day there really to use the facilities.
Cons: bath towels - a lack of towels was an issue.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Mas de la Fouque Hôtel & Spa in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Camargue Regional Nature Park and 9 minutes from Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Dinner, breakfast, personnel and location. All good. Also breakfast free of charge because our water was cut off during the night and we had no water next morning for toilette etc. It was fixed by 9 am but disagreeable experience.
Cons: Our room - a "roulotte". Very cramped. Bed small and could only be accessed from one side. Bathroom also very small. No shower, only a huge free-standing bath which was rather dangerous for older people to get in and out of.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The area and the hotel facilities are very beautiful, beautiful pool with sufficient space around so you don‘t feel crowded even if there are more people. The room was very nice with a spacious bathroom and spacious shower with good toiletry products from Nuxe. Staff at check-in and breakfast was very helpful and forthcoming. We were traveling with an infant (there were a lot of other guests with babies or small children) and were pleased they had sufficient highchairs around. The parrot Marius who comes onto your shoulder was an attraction.
Cons: We had a room located above the kitchen, which was a bit noisy at night when the kitchen was being cleaned. Also, the food at lunch did not entirely live up to the expectation - we had chicken salad which was good, but the fish we ordered it seems they at first forgot, and when it came late it was obviously rushed and not cooked through, sides were not what others who ordered the same dish had gotten, and tasted strange. On the positive end we got a coffee on the house after mentioning the shortcomings. Despite this, our overall experience at Mas de la Fouque was pleasant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Incredible surrounding Great room (suite) Very pleasant staff Spa
Cons: Restaurant decorations needs refreshing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a spa, best for athletic young French people. Location is amazing but isolated. Buggy because the Camargue is. Very friendly. The town, Sté Mariés de la Mer is a seaside resort with marvelous seafood better than at the Spa. The bird sanctuary is truly fabulous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic location, everything perfect. Dinner was excellent.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was superior in the middle of nature and respecting the environment. Parking facilities are excellent. Parrot Marius welcomes the guests.
Cons: The mosquitos are a real problem. Some of the staff is a bit arrogant. The heating in the bathroom was switched on despite the fact that it was around 40C outside. The airco produces too much light which is troublesome at night. The property is overprized.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellant well priced restaurent overlooking the most spectacular views down the valley, a great find!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view over the swamps were amazing. Nice location, quiet but near centre of the town. The staff was friendly, but they looked very nervous.
Cons: The hotel was on first sight very beautiful, but I would not rate it 4 stars.

7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly and available staff. Good location in the heart of town, but far enough from the noisy streets. The rooms, facilities and hallways were all very clean. Good breakfast buffet and offer of drinks.
Cons: Mattress was a bit too soft and losing its shape. The air in the rooms and hallways was overloaded with way too much air freshener/deodorant.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Clean, quite, friendly, like the town itself. Good vibe, very relaxed.
Cons: You know how WC means 'water closet'? Now I know why. Toilet is literally the size of a closet. Shower is normal sized, room is normal sized, toilet not so much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great little seaside village, very comfortable accommodation, with breakfast available on site. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do nearby.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Mattress was comfortable. Heating was necessary and worked well. Wifi was good. Breakfast was simple but nice and good value (7 euros).
Cons: Small pillows. Bathroom was dusty and had mould. Radiator was rusty and shower handle was broken + nowhere to put shower gel. Next door was a public toilet with a noisy. Overall fairly run down and not cosy.

8.0 Excellent

3.8 Mediocre

Cons: Our stay at the Castelet was horrible. Room had disgusting stench. We found a small pile of cigarette butts under the sofa bed. The comforter was filled with black dog hair!!! We slept badly due to the smell & kids were coughing of all night.

Cons: Difficult to find any faults as it made our short stay so memorable.great bslue
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Weather
5.0 Okay
Cons: Room was cramped and not well laid out. Hard to shower given the size of the bathroom and although advertised as beachfront, it was in front of a carnival on one side and a construction site on the other. When I couldn't find the bathroom in the room( door to room hid it) and asked the manager, he was making fun of me. Would not recommend this hotel at all
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, right on the beach. There was municipal parking across the street - plenty of spaces in the fall but I'll bet it's a lot more difficult in the summer. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel design was retro which was fun. My sister-in-law said she should have brought her Jackie O. sunglasses.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located very nice in the lively harbour area of Saint-Marie in close proximity of the old town esc area of the village. Decent price and nice staff. The rooms are very clean and fresh and the air conditioning perfect on a hot day and actually on par with some four star hotels that we have visited.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Shower curtain not convenient, bathroom quite old

Pros: The location was perfect. Close to the beach. Easy walk into town. Quiet at night. Hotel was very fresh and clean.
Cons: On arrival we rang the bell and a gentleman appeared. We were early so we were asked to return in one hour. We did and were shown to our room by a very pleasant woman. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, room reasonably spacious, quiet, convenient, clean, good bathroom, decent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money and highly recommended.
Cons: Hotel excellent, but in Saintes Maries de la Mer, be ready for the very aggressive gypsies outside the church (and probably in other places around the town) They are extremely skilled and bullying so be on alert.

Camping la Brise - Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer - Living room

7.5 Good (766 reviews)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place! So close to the beach, the tent where we stayed was clean, comfortable, cosy, equipped with all necessary kitchen facilities. Toilets and shower-rooms are clean. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.
7.5 Good
Pros: Tent well equipped and beds were comfy. Proximity to pool, beach and town is great. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly.
Cons: Signage/check in not clear. Tent security - one padlock provided but 3 openings. No recycling. Cleaning at the end is very prescripive and includes moving furniture out/inside to vacuum and mop. It was very windy and the tent was very noisy - not their fault!
7.9 Good
Pros: The pools, water park and beach were wonderful. The bathrooms were always well serviced and clean. Great to have separate sinks for laundry or dishes. Laundry machines also available.
Cons: The tents are HOT. They are designed with only 3 small windows to open for ventilation, so don’t plan on spending any time in the tent once the sun is up. There is no shade. Also, be aware the company booking these ’Escapade’ tents has no connection to the actual Camping La Brise which is where you check in, so if anything is wrong with the reservation or the tent (I.e. you rented sheets but they are not there) they will only give you a phone number to call. Not helpful if it is after hours or you don’t have a phone that works in France. It is also a bit annoying that the only access gate to the beach is a bit far and doesn’t allow access after 9pm. If you come after that because you want to enjoy the beautiful restaurant La Playa on the beach, plan on walking ALL the way around to get back to the main entrance.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Near sea and nice town.
Cons: Not helpful and arogant personnel, speak only in french, no shade, can ' t get in or out after 8 PM by entrance near beach, dirty toilettes.

Pros: Great position on the seafront but a few minutes away from the centre so much quieter location. Unfortunately did not have a sea view but room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Parked motorbike outside front door which was safe and convenient. Breakfast was excellent and being able to have it outdoors was a bonus.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Close to the beach. Easy walk into town. Quiet at night. Hotel was very fresh and clean.
Cons: On arrival we rang the bell and a gentleman appeared. We were early so we were asked to return in one hour. We did and were shown to our room by a very pleasant woman. That was the last we seen of any one until we checked out. Some people mat like that but it would have been nice to see a face at reception asking if all was well etc.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast good but very overpriced at 30 E.

Pros: Clean, comfortabale, big rooms. Two nice swiming pools. Nice people. Good dinner but a bit pricy. A bit too far from the village but in general very nice hotel. I would stay there again if I go to Camargue in near future.

Pros: Great location. Very comfortable room. Nice bathroom. Spacious terrace
Cons: Thought breakfast was expensive and coffee from machine not that great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole property is very well kept. The beautiful garden with 2 pools and jacuzzi feels like an oasis with all the greenery. Liked the comfortable sunbeds (with nice mattresses) and there was a small bar with small dishes and drinks available. All stuff was very friendly and service minded and both the breakfast and dinner were just excellent, highly recommended!

Pros: Very friendly staff, very helpful made reservations for us and gave good advise on things in the area
Cons: Breakfast a little repetitive, but nothing to moan about really, they welcome dogs, and I am a dog lover, but there were several dogs staying whilst we were there, and my wife is somewhat uncertain around them, although they were all well behaved

Pros: Comfortable, the owners are very kind, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the bathroom too, a hearty breakfast for all tastes, there is also toast and hot croissants. Free parking at 20 meters. My wife and I are the third time we return.
Cons: I have nothing to complain about
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is super clean, owner is a lovely and funny person. Room is comfortable.
Cons: If i had to say something the shower could be more comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: It’s a pity there is no minibar in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was small but immaculate and quiet with a very comfortable bed and a modern, well-appointed bathroom. The closet was ample, and each piece of furniture had been picked so guests can unpack efficiently. Breakfast was simple but good (and better than trying to find breakfast in town first thing in the day.) The free parking was a great bonus, and Brigit and Dominique could not have been more welcoming and professional. Though the neighborhood location is not in the center of town or at the beach, both are about a 5-minute walk away and the slight distance from them make the setting much quieter. Highly recommended for travelers who enjoy comfort, quiet and good value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was no fridge in the room, but the host was very kind and helpful and allowed us to store food in the kitchen. The room was super neat, tidy, spacious and stylish, one of the best places we stayed at during our trip. Lovely terrace. Quiet location. Delicious breakfast. It was always a pleasure to talk to the host lady, thanks a lot for great hospitality. We would definitely stay at this place if we visited les Saint-Maries again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. There was nothing broken or damaged which is unusual. The beds were really comfortable.
Cons: Everything was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, cleanliness, staff friendliness, the fact that the room was serviced each day when we only stayed two nights.
Cons: All good

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing swimming pool, very quiet, very well located, very clean and spacious rooms
Cons: Breakfast was of poor quality...
7.1 Good
Pros: Location. Sea view from generous balcony.
Cons: Very dated bathrooms. Miserable staff. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Have to get a wristband from reception to gain entrance to outdoor swimming pool - no idea why it wasn’t offered on check in?
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Best Location in town. Next to beach, on edge of town with easy access.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Of course, the location cannot be better. But we also enjoyed a very comfortable room with a view of the Mediterranean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are numerous restaurants in the town. Since our focus was to have some beach time, the easy beach access was very much appreciated.
Cons: The dinner restaurant staff weren’t very motivated.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was not included, pool required extra badge, one had to request in person at the reception, inside pool was charged 15€ p.P. per day
Cons: The hotek was clean good parking - it has been a great place in the 70ies!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a very good Continental breakfast with enough choice and good coffee! Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the Med. I understand all rooms offer a view of the Med as they are located at the back of the building. The staff were very friendly and with a sense of humour. We love Saintes Maries de la Mer and have stayed in a few hotels in the region but we will definitely be back to stay here and may very well take up the Wellness side of things!
Cons: Nothing really except perhaps a tea/coffee making facility in the room but then we are English!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and efficient. Fantastic location overlooking the sea.
4.2 Okay
