Pros: The area is beautiful, riding a bike or driving through the villages is so nice. The guesthouse is an old country-side house, renovated and furnished with everything you need; the room was super nice, with a very generous bathroom. The allow pets - and this was a big plus for us, our dog was really happy with the big yard where he could run freely and occasionally chase the rabbit & cats :) Breakfast was ok - not the best, surely not the worst, you have the usual options. The cakes and berry syrup were delicious!
Cons: Soundproofing is not great, might be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. Meals are a bit random - you usually can have dinner there but if the cook doesn’t come that day, then no dinner. It works ok in the end but better to ask in the morning.
Pros: The location was great for resting, very quiet place with nice backyard, clean and new remodeled. Rooms are spacious, beds Are comfortable and bedsheets fresh and clean. We stayed only one night but we would come back for a few days relaxing. Friendly staff and fresh prepared breakfast with local ingredients.
Cons: I cannot say something i didn’t like.
Pros: The host was very nice and helpful, the property is lovely, located in the countryside, has a lot of relaxation zones with a lot of green areas. The room is rather large, bed was comfortable and bathroom is large with a walk in shower and seemed very clean.
Cons: Noise travels through the walls and it is difficult to rest if other guests are on the phone, talk or have children. The breakfast had a good enough variety but it was left unattended and uncovered in the breakfast room and flies were all over it.
Pros: The property is located in a beautiful and quite area within reachable distance to the entrance to the national park of Retezat, it is good also for those wanting to do a hike in the park. The rooms are large, clean and in very good condition (more like a 4 star hotel than like a b&b!). The hosts are really kind and helpful, very nice people. Breakfast was with bio products from the area, probably the best breakfast we had at a hotel in a very long time. Everything was excellent and we will come back for sure. Thank you very much to the hosts for their kindness and best of luck in continuing to provide such excellent services.
Cons: Everything was very good!
Pros: Good starting point to do a lot of sightseeing in a fantastic county, which I have rediscovered Hunedoara!
Cons: Daily cleaning of the room was not available. There is no food available irrespective of the arrival time and the closest shop is 10 km away
Pros: Great place and amazing people. Keep going !

Pros: Typical delicious rumanien dinner and breakfast! You've got to try! Friendly stuff! Beautiful garden and terrace! Everthing was fine!
Cons: A little bit hot in the room under the roof in the first floor, because of the heat wave in the first weeks of August.
Pros: Very nice place to spend some couple of nights. Fresh air, mountains nearby, hiking paths, waterfalls, less than 1h drive to Corvins' Castle. The accommodation was over expectations but we started with low ones. We were the only guests in that period and all their attention was for us, asking us all the time if we need something and trying to make it happen. It was pretty cold outside, the heaters in the room were working, but a bit slow so they gave us also a radiator which we used at the beginning until it got way too warm and we didn't use it anymore. Hot water worked fine, clean room and bathroom. Nice backyard. We ate 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts and they were delicious and included lots of food. Everything was homemade, cooked my the owner's mom. And the price acceptable.
Cons: There were some small things that we didn't enjoy that much or made us a bit less comfortable, and I will try to mention them bellow. We didn't receive any receipt for what we payed there. Wi-fi didn't work in the room but worked fine in some common areas. We only received the key to our room, but not to the main entrance to the courtyard / front fence so we had to synchronize with the owner when we want to leave or when we come back. Even more that we parked the car inside in the courtyard so when we had to leave we mostly needed the door for the cars opened. We felt a bit uncomfortable to have to tell them during breakfast time what time we want to leave out on that day, what time we come back, what and at what time we want to eat the dinner or breakfast next day. We came back 1 hour earlier than expected one day and no one was at the property to let us in. But we called the owner and he came in less than 10 minutes. The food was precooked and brought to the property from a different location and it was barely warm when we ate it. But still good. On the check-in time, the owner was not there, but his father welcomed us. We were asked to wait on a sofa for his son because he will be the one who presents us the room. But the man sat with us and we had a weird short talk conversation. I am Romanian but my boyfriend is Danish who doesn't know Romanian. Both the owner and his father spoke with us only in Romanian, all the conversations passed through me, being the translator. It didn't seem that they knew English. But maybe some of the ladies of the property (that we hadn't met) know English.
Pros: Everything was perfect. Nice host.
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Great homemade breakfast and dinner. Very quiet location. Hosts were very kind.
Pros: the rustic atmosphere, the fact that we received very good home made food.
Cons: we dis not have wifi and not so much 4G signal either, but we managed.
Pros: The place is located in one of the beautifull villages in the area, surrounded by abundant nature.Yhe hosts are open minded people, friendly, and it feels they love what they do and try to make you feel at home. The food is hearty, excellent, mostly organic and home made, even the wine and liquers they offer you are such. and the house and rooms are furnished in good taste. On the overall it is a super relaxing countryside experience
Pros: It's the perfect place to stay in this area. Beautiful, charming, local and organic food, great hosts. Totally recommended!
Pros: The family that owns Casa Canda do their best to make the guests enjoy the stay, they are very friendly and treat the guests as their friends. The rooms are very clean, the garden is wonderful and it is very quiet, you can here only the birds and some roosters. Also, their cats and dog are very playful. All the food is homemade, very healthy and tasty.
Cons: Nothing to dislike at Casa Canda, it was a really pleasant stay.
Offering a barbecue and sun terrace, Casa Verde is situated in Rîu de Mori in the Hunedoara Region, 6 km from Râuşor Ski Slope. Free private parking is available on site. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including fishing and hiking.
Pros: A quiet and nice place, next to the river. Cosy interior. Good communication with host. A very good location if you have a car to go hiking.
Pros: Friendly owners, very clean and surrounded by beautiful nature!
Pros: Hidden in a beautiful valley the location is very nice, a small stream is right at the end of the backyard. Nice room, flexible check-in.
Cons: Rooms were a bit cold even in the summer, but we had extra blankets at least. The other guests had two large dogs who can come into the house.
